front desk staff was so nice. I arrived very early and she was able to let me into my room earlier than the check in time! The transit system around the hotel is very good and there is a great gas station next to the hotel convenience. It is also very close and walkable to many major sites, the beach, museums and more. The room itself was very clean, it was a HUGE room. The bed was comfortable and the re was more than enough space to relax.

Room was very nice and large. The robes were a nice touch. Breakfast was great with many items to choose from.

Nice modest place. Clean. Slightly noisy. Spa is limited to a sauna only.

Very good hotel, walking distance to the centre of Varna

We selected Aqua Varna because of it's location close to restaurants at the port and the centra pedestrian area. The cost was reasonable for the quality of the hotel and it had on site parking. The hotel restaurant was good and the staff were very helpful. Well done AQUA

Great Hotel if you don't need internet.

If you are on business and need internet service, forget it! Internet on the 6th floor is nearly non existent and drops frequently! The only place that has decent internet is in the lobby. I was ready to sleep on the couch in the lobby.

I stayed here for 1 night when traveling for business. It was absolutely satisfactory: check-in was available for 24 hours, the room was equipped with a kettle , tea, coffee. What surprised me was that the corridors and common areas looked cleaner than the room itself. In the room there was mold near the window and some mold in the bathroom that was painted over. The bedsheets had a couple of stains on them. Otherwise all good.

- The area is very quiet, it is good if you want to relax . -the breakfast is very good. - the staff are very helpful. - as a solo, the location is ok for me, but for a family using public transportation it would be bit difficult to move, it is 10 - 15 mins away ( walking )from the train station Mozzate .

Pleasant stay

The hotel is in a fairly good location - it is very close to the train station and is within walking distance of the city centre. The hotel was clean and it was clear that it was undergoing refurbishment - the room was very modern, though the bathroom was in desperate need of a refit.

Highly recommended this hotel for those who want to stay at the good location for reasonable price. Very good rooms, perfect breakfast and service! Enjoy your stay there!

Touring Bulgaria by train and bus.

Great location next to railway station. Friendly, helpful staff. Food was excellent and great value. Rooms spotless, modern and spacious.

One night stay at Aqua hotel Varna

Had a lovely stay at the Aqua hotel.The staff were friendly and helpful and the parking cost 12 leva for 24 hours at the front of the hotel.The hotel was immaculately clean as was the room and bathroom.Wifi was excellent.The room was comfortable with a kettle and tea and coffee supplies.Bathroom had lovely towels and good toiletries Comfortable bed and pillows with crisp bed linen.Varied range of food at breakfast with both hot and cold options.Reasonably priced accommodation and excellent value for money. Location good close to Varna train station and city centre not too far away. Will definitely return!!

Old hotel, night staff dont know english or anything

I’ve booked two rooms for a family of my friends who were escaping the war in Ukraine. They are traveling with a 5 months old baby. The staff certainly made no effort to make them feel welcome or even be friendly and show compassion to their plight. They were initially refused a table when they came down for the -included - breakfast. The rooms were not in a great condition, one of the showers wasn’t working. Not a property I’d recommend or would ever consider staying at myself.

Closeness to city and sea. Price and condition of rooms very good.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The employees were very nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The room itself was clean. The beds were a little uncomfortable/hard for my preference, but not horrible. Breakfast was included in the price and I was pleased. They had s good variety of protein, fruits and pastries. I ate dinner at the restaurant one evening and was very pleased. Excellent food, amazing service, and good prices. Not overly priced “hotel restaurant” food. Overall I was very happy with my stay!

one night stay - ok

It was just a one night stay: late arrival, early start. The hotel is situated in an industrial area, good for shopping if you need to do some.:-). The room was big and clean, nice bathroom, working aircon. No lift but Marina, the receptionist kindly helped with the luggage (thank you:-). There was no food available at the hotel in the evening, but I was advised to look in the close area (the shopping centre) - didn't do that though. Can't say much about breakfast, as I left before it was served.

Aqua Hotel Varna

Price was good, breakfast delicious, walls a very thin. For what I paid, location and the two days I needed it, it was fine.

Close to Railway station / port / beach

Really nice, friendly staff at Aqua Hotel. Spacious, clean room and a nice buffet breakfast.

In Varna, Bulgaria, 10minute walk to the beach or 20 minute walk to downtown streets with sidewalk cafes and shops. Taxis get to hotel w/I 10 minutes. I personally don't recommend driving, traffic can be crazy and finding a parking space difficult. Costs are resonable

Great value for money hotel - would recommend!

My partner and I stayed at Aqua Hotel for 10 nights and were very pleased with the experience. The room was comfortable, clean and a good base for our holiday - the wifi is also very fast and reliable even during things like online streaming. Staff were also helpful and friendly. Only slight drawbacks were: The breakfast is fine, but gets a bit samey if you're staying more than a couple of nights Air conditioning unit was quite loud in the room All in all though, if you're coming to Varna on a budget this hotel is an excellent choice. PS. Due to our room not being ready, we were switched to the presidential suite for our first night at no extra charge. I can't promise this for other travellers, but it was an excellent first night treat!

Good location, takes about 10 minutes to get to the main pedestrian part of the city which is full of shops and restuanrants, and a beautiful fountain. Close to the beach. There is a gym available. Staff were friendly and helped with giving directions. Walls are a little bit thin so I could hear conversation of neighbors next door. Overall a good stay though.

Attractive place to stay in Varna

Breakfast offered plenty of choice, lovely food. Members of staff ( apart from cleaners and one guy in the buffet ) looked serious, smiling and greeting the guests would not go amiss! Some minor material maintenance required in the room - wobbly loo and hairdryer from cold war era. Booking was painless, overall good experience.

Good location next to the sea & railway station. Delicious breakfast. Rooms are clean, so as the bathroom. Personal nice & helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Good quality and value for money

Comfortable and spacious room with modern TV, fridge and - amazingly - tea and coffee making facilities! Decent choice at breakfast. Didn't manage to try the fitness suite/ spa so unable to comment on them. A serviceable location but not a picturesque one - almost opposite the railway station, but only about 15 minutes walk from the main Varna beach. Popular with coach tours, but I was able to park my hire car in the hotel's own parking every evening. I travel to Varna about twice a year and will definitely consider staying there again.

Close to train station with good breakfast

Great breakfast, front desk was wonderful for check in and answering our numerous questions as tourists. We never figured out the air conditioner so we propped the window open as it wouldn't stay on its own. Grateful for the clean sheets, we were tired!

perfect for trip. only room was with bad view. But everything else was good.

Clean, economical, decent food.

We took a really short break at the last minute and this hotel was cheap and looked to be in a good location for Varna's beach. It was clean and friendly and had a good spa on the top floor. It's nothing fancy so I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for luxury (although we only saw the twin room we booked) but if you just want somewhere, cheap and clean to stay I would say yes.

Good choice, especially for those taking the train

Literally right across from the train station in Varna. Staff are very friendly and the room, while a bit older looking, is nice and clean. The bed isn't very comfortable but the bathroom is big and more modern. Overall, a good stay.
