Excellent location. Elegant hotel. Professional service.
Great hotel
Everything else We like Except room doesn’t has enough air circulation.
Room is kind small. Everything else is good.
The Apricot Hotel in Hanoi is an absolute gem that combines elegance, comfort, and exceptional service in one unforgettable experience. From the moment you step into the magnificent foyer, you’re greeted by a sense of grandeur and sophistication. The aesthetic of the hotel is simply breathtaking, with its tasteful blend of classical charm and modern luxury, complemented by stunning artwork that makes every corner feel like an art gallery. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here. Every space, from the rooms to the common areas, is immaculate and maintained to perfection. The attention to detail is remarkable, and it creates a welcoming and pristine environment for guests. What truly sets the Apricot Hotel apart, however, is its superb staff. From the warm and efficient reception team to the ever-attentive housekeeping staff, every member of the team goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care make you feel valued and pampered throughout your visit. Staying at the Apricot Hotel is not just accommodation—it’s an experience of luxury, art, and heartfelt hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi!
The best hotel in the old quarter perfectly located lakeside. Fantastic property and staff. If you want the buzz of the old quarter, this is a tranquil oasis from which to enjoy it. If we return and stay in the old quarter we would definitely stay here again; but I suspect we’ll try the French quarter.
Nice breakfast. Very convenient location.
Compared to other boutique hotels in this area, the hotel is not great. Everything is only okay. Room has the moist smell from lack of ventilation and natural light. Quite disappointed with the quality based on the high rating they have.
This is the perfect hotel to stay in Hanoi!!! Located beside the lake with direct view!! Room immaculate and breakfast formidable!!
Is my first time at the apricot hotel in Hanoi. This is my go to hotel for all of my future trips to Hanoi. I love the location near the lake and the hotel staff were wonderful. The architecture of the lobby and the second floor dining area were amazingly beautiful.
Beautiful property. Centrally located in the center of town across the street from the lake. Exceptional service, and facility in general.
Excellent property.
Staff attentiveness, cleanliness of public areas were exceptional even during recent Typhoon Yagi
This hotel was everything could want. Beautiful building, beautiful lobby, beautiful, second floor dining area. The buffet breakfast in the morning was one of the best I have had in Vietnam, and I like the arrangement with Little separate areas for the different types of food.
Excellent obliging staff. Beautifully Decorated lobby, hallways, rooms, even the library. The artwork hanging is exceptional the bedrooms, wonderfully appointed.
Excellent
Best location with best staff
Amazing hotel with amazing staff! The location of the hotel is perfect! We are lucky to have one of the concierge lady to help. Chloe (Thuy Linh) was so professional, kind and responsive. She had helped us to customize our tight schedule. She followed up with us until midnight of her time. Many days like that since we planned from USA, the time zone is different.
Nice staff, clean and nice hotel
Misleading room selection
Booked and pay extra for a Lakeview Room, assigned for a lakeview direction but tree (green) view but can see the lakeview. the booking category need to be clearly defined that the direction and the view. felt cheated and pay extra for nothing. also renovation noise is really disturbing.
Convenience
Location by the lake is awesome. Beautiful lobby and artworks throughout.
Great location in old quarter. Walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants
Excellent hotel - staff were extraordinary and the property is beautiful.
A good 4* hotel with excellent location
We rate the Apricot hotel actually as a 4* hotel, which is a bit dated. We booked a room with view on the lake, a bit hidden by the trees. The carpets were stained. The sofa in our room was not clean with a hole burned by cigarettes. The room has cigarette smell. Other than that the room was generally clean. The breakfast was not good: foods provided are not fresh and not of good quality. We could only eat fruits. The coffee was terrible. The staff (front desk, breakfast restaurant, room cleaning) are quite helpful though. In summary we think this hotel is overpriced. The location is excellent, near the old quarter.
I am platimum member but dont recieved late check out as expected. FO called my room and asked for a surcharge although they agree for us to stay longer
Great location near the lake with easy access to dining and entertainment options. Warm and spacious lobby displaying classical elegance. Clean comfortable rooms with all the amenities but additional options for thinner pillows would be nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the cost.
Very nice hotel.
Top notch service and accommodations and centrally located in Old Quarter Hanoi. Highly likely I will stay here again next visit to Vietnam.
Excellent hotel for the price
My 1 night stay was part of a longer visit. Next time I will stay the entire visit. Very nice hotel for the price. Great location and walkable to everything.
Very central for Hanoi. Can walk to everywhere and right opposite the lake.
Clean, safe but music in the street very early in the morning 5:30am
Good
Thank you, Apricot Hotel for a wonderful Hanoi experience. The western comforts of the hotel and the peaceful lakeside location are appreciated as one gets tuned in to the synchronized chaos of Hanoi. Excellent French croissants, French toast, chocolate bread, yoghurt delicious pho noodle soup. They even have sushi for breakfast, testimony of the diversity of clients the hotel must cater to. Attentive and caring staff... but that seems to be the standard in Vietnam... as if the hotel people are accomplices in helping visitors enjoy their Vietnam. Close to all the buzz, but with the best views of the Lake. One is privileged to be in a prime art gallery. The pool is outstanding. My only complaint was that there was no apricot jam for breakfast to have with the French toast or the croissants.
This hotel is an oasis, a sanctuary in a chaotic old quarter of Hanoi. While affording an ideal location where everything in the area is within a short walk, this hotel provides a total refuge from the noise and crazy traffic outside. Walking in is like traveling through time to a decadent European past complete with grand chandeliers, gobbles of marble and of course a grand piano, played daily. This beautiful French opulence combined with the warmest Vietnamese hospitality makes this place a must visit for any discerned traveler. Rooms are beautifully decorated with combination of true classics and touches of modern. Breakfast is on the second floor, which is a balcony wrapping around the entire 1st floor's lobby with beautiful interior vies, great dish selection and freshest food quality. To complement this excellent hard product, the staff is simply amazing. During my stay, everyone at the front desk managed to remember my name, ask if I needed anything and never hesitated to provide whatever I asked for. Everyone went above and beyond their duties to make sure I remembered this stay with a warm smile. I simply cannot see myself staying anywhere else during my next trip to Hanoi.
A well located hotel, quiet with a roof top pool.
Room service is amazing. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is wonderful. Great facility and size. Thank you.
Fijn hotel
Heerlijk hotel op een goede plek in het centrum
The people working there were so helpful and nice.
The room was clean and decent. However, the hotel was creepily unoccupied. I probably saw 6 other guests total the night I was there. When I tried walking around to check out other areas (eg, pool, rooftop bar) a staff member would suddenly appear and follow me around. It even happen when I left my room and walked to the elevator. It’s hard to describe but I felt like I was be watched at all times and it just creeped me out. I was relieved to only have one night here.
It’s a good hotel to stay at. Hotel does need some improvements to the hallway walls, carpet and room had a musty smell that I didn’t like but it was very clean.
A good hotel located in the midst of the city tourist attractions and shopping area.
Excel Staff
I have stayed at this property four times now, mainly for business travel, but recently for a holiday. It kind of fills a gap between the quite common 3 star type of boutique hotels in the old quarter and the very high end 5 star hotels such as the Metropole etc. Prices seem to be going up in the old quarter for what you get now, but this hotel generally charges around the $200 rate or higher which is a bit high for the quality of the experience. Every room I have had has been quite different ranging from quite cramped to a standard kind of size but all have quite a low ceiling, relatively speaking. The appointments in each are quite nice - good bathroom etc. However, each have had limited natural light. They have faced into a central gap in the middle of the building, or the wall of the opposite building. The TV is not intuitive and in the last case would only stop when unplugged at the wall, and the elevators stop on floors for no apparent reason. It has lost its lustre with carpets beginning to look a bit stained and walls scuffed. The staff seem to be a bit aloof compared to the excellent hospitality of many of the smaller boutique hotels, with the exception of a few. Also, the rooftop bar is not operating and its barren compared with some other excellent rooftop experiences in some other hotels in the old quarter. Its not that its a bad hotel, it is just not great, especially for the price they are charging. and what you would get for a similar price elsewhere.
Friendly people
Comfortable
good stay
Love the Apricot. Great location, great staff, delicious breakfast buffet.
Apricot has always been our favorite hotel to stay in Hanoi
Negative issues with room cleaning staffs - re property.
WiFi needs some boosting in some areas such as the breakfast area. Elevators were a bit erratic
Property very good super friendly staff and helpful
,items provide in bathroom not consistent. 2 days with ‘leg towel’ which is needed as the bathing cubicle leaking water
Love this place!
The location is at the Center of City and the services, cleanliness and the architecture is equivalent to 5 stars 👍👍
Location and accessible to a lot of things. Hotel staffs are great and very helpful. Thank you all.
Great location and lovely decor. Very comfortable. Nice rooftop bar and pool
Lovely property. Looking forward to completing my stay
A good choice
Lobby very smart, room was clean and comfortable, though one window did not close fully. The decor was traditional. The pool was good, though the seating around was rather dusty. The restaurant was not open so breakfast was served in the room; plentiful but not great quality. No welcome drink offered perhaps due to covid, despite this being listed as a 'perk'. Excellent location with good views.
위치 좋은 훌륭한 호텔
호안끼엠에 위치하여 아주 좋고 직원분들은 매우 친절합니다. 다만 방에서 와이파이가 너무 느려서 좀 불편했네요...
Everything was great, location is just steps to the lake , And around the hotel there is a coffee shops and you have to walking about 10 minutes to walking Street.
Location was great. Recommended by friend in Vietnam and everything was really great!
It has spacious rooms, the buffet breakfast is very good, the lobby is beautiful and the hotel itself is in the Old Quarter and very close to the Central Lake.
price is expensive compare to other hotel but it is quiet and close to restaurant and lake
perfect high end hotel with the best location
The best kept secret in Hanoi. Service at a high level, check in excellent and priced - well almost underpriced relative to the competition. The room was generous, fantastic bed and sheets - reasonable and well priced room service, coffee and water provided - and all round impressive. But the really win is the location. I’d argue the best location in Hanoi. Right outside is the lake. The roof top bar has the best view in the city. The Four Seasons Is building next door and you can see why. It’s simply a great spot.
Great location. Not sure what it will be like given massive building work of a new hotel going up next store. Virtually all views lost alongside those bedrooms facing it.
very nice room, high grade boutique hotel. front desk staff are helpful. breakfast is good excellent location wonderful view
Gorgeous hotel, a must if staying in Hanoi. Bathroom has a see through shower . Rooftop bar is gorgeous!
Very beautiful building, get a room with garden if possible
good location to Old Quarter, walking distance to night market
The staff was rude, they advertised there was a pool but it was closed. Hotel was definitely not 5 star - maybe 3 at best.
stay
Good lobby. Rooms a bit old. Service is great. But water is not warm / hot enough. Location is brilliant though!
Convenient location, comfy room
Excellent High End Central Hanoi Hotel
Beautiful hotel in an ideal location close to old town with great roof bar views of the lake. Roof bar and pool was a bit quiet, lovely elegant downstairs bar. Room was pretty much as shown in the photos ours was a standard gallery room number 301 so third floor, clean and well serviced. There are two restaurants but the high end Portrait one was closed during our stay. The standard restaurant was perfectly acceptable for dinner with a very good breakfast buffet. Prices are expensive for Vietnam similar to what you would expect in European 4 star hotel Staff and service was excellent through out our stay Room has robes and slippers plus a wide selection of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrush and toothpaste, razor and shaving cream sewing kit shower cap comb etc.). No issues with the WiFi Some people have noted there is construction going on next door (new Four Seasons hotel). Our room overlooked the building site but we could hardly hear anything except reverberation of the piling work which was only occasional during the day. A very enjoyable stay.
Beautiful hotel great location and excellent service
Hotel is located in a great area and the breakfast buffet was impressive; other than that I can’t say much good about this property. It’s most definitely not 5 stars. Still trying to figure out how they got those stars. Rooms are mediocre and staff is awful. We were supposed to have an automatic upgrade due to Expedia VIP status. They told us that they were fully booked. We went to our room and found that we had actually been downgraded. I went back to the desk and demanded the room that we booked. They immediately gave us the room (funny since they had previously said they were fully booked) and that room had super loud construction right outside the window. We asked again to be moved to the room we had booked with a view of the lake. They immediately moved us again (funny how they suddenly had all of these available rooms). Our room was super tiny and the “lake view” was out the shower window. We gave up and decided it wasn’t worth wasting anymore of our time in Hanoi. The spa is a whole other story. Woman talked on her phone while doing my husbands foot massage. We sat on hard benches that didn’t recline. It was less than service we’ve gotten from having massages on the street for a fraction of the price. I’d suggest staying almost anywhere else in Hanoi. Every other property that we have visited during our 2 weeks here have been MUCH nicer, better views, attentive staff and all were a fraction of what we paid to stay at The Apricot. Super disappointed in this hotel.
Good stay
All is fine. The fixed price for taxi to airport is a very good deal.
Not only did I not receive any upgrade or benefit but my room was actually completely different from the room that I booked. Online it looked 5X larger, nicer furnishings, carpet, etc. We also had a window that overlooked a huge construction site. Super disappointing to waste our money on this hotel expecting upgrades and better treatment from a 5 star hotel. So many other choices in Hanoi for Jess money and better quality and service.
We stayed here for a long weekend and have to say we loved this hotel. The classical interior is adorned with the most beautiful artworks. Our room with the private rooftop garden was a haven away from the bussle down below. Fantastic views of the lake and the street. The library was a wonderful peaceful room. The rooftop pool was great with a superb view. We would also just like to say thankyou to the kind staff lady who brought to our room a complementary birthday cake for my wife! We've stayed in a few high end places around the world but this has to be one of our favourite city centre hotels.
Very large & comfortable rooms, excellent staff. Pool bar was often very quiet, which is nice at some times but boring at other times. Breakfast was average but overpriced, although this is typical for luxury hotels.
There’s a clear wall that separates the bathroom and the bedroom. There’s an electric curtain that can screen the window but I find it strange that you can lay in bed and watch your roommate sit on the pot.
Superb Hospitality!
The Apricot Hotel is lovely, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The location is ideal for enjoying all of Hanoi's charm. But the best part is the service! I foolishly left my passport in the hotel safe and didn't realize this until I was at the airport. There was only 1 hour to retrieve my passport before check-in closed. I called the hotel, they quickly found my passport and sent it in a airport taxi to meet me at the airport. My passport arrived just in time for me to make my flight. Without the assistance and swiftness of the Apricot Hotel staff I absolutely would have missed my flight. I will be forever grateful and I look forward to staying there again.
Best location. Spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Elegant hotel with lovely artwork.
Room and hotel was as expected. Unfortunately there was construction noise and vibration from next door on the day we stayed there but apparently it was finishing on the day we checked out. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Convenient location to plenty of restaurants. Staff were very helpful.
Beautiful, spotless rooms. Great staff. Centrally located. Cannot prsise highly enough.
Needs renovation, bad service
The Hotel is old and needs updating. Rooms are small and pool on rooftop is NOT like the photos. It’s actually quite old. Location is good. Right across the lake and walking distance from the Old Quarter. We paid more for a lake view room. What we got was a view of a construction site next door which was ugly as heck and noisy where they were doing construction until the evening and very difficult to sleep. We complained to hotel management but there was no effort to make it up to us. I would not stay here again.
Great location! Beautiful and elegant building. We loved walking through all the restaurants and shops around.
I have stayed at Apricot a few time and found it pleasant and a good location, hotel of choice when I visit Hanoi
Good location and beautiful foyer with lots of history, Great service and super helpful staff, Only marked down because the rooms are small and views not so good unless you upgrade. Also expensive at £200 per room with no breakfast.
Excellent location, beautiful and well kept hotel. Very complete breakfast. I’d definitely stay there again!
6 Star Service
We stayed all over Vietnam and this hotel offered by far the best service out of them all. The location was fantastic, nice roof top pool with bar area. Would highly reccomend.
One of the best locations in Hanoi and great hotel
Great location - not five star. It was nice and clean but the facilities are ok- gym is not a gym.
Loved everything about it!
The roof top pool was amazing at night. The room was clean, beds amazing to get a good night rest after walking around all day. The staff was super amazing at taking care of us and treated us unbelievable hospitality! On top of all that the location was perfect!
Excellent location. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortably-sized. Beautiful lobby and decor.
This hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are excellent—very clean—with comfortable beds and a great shower. And, the air con works extremely well. I highly recommend it.
Great stay. Great view. Great location.
Price is a bit steep. But overall a great stay at apricot. The location is perfect. About 5 minutes walk to the night market and lake is just across the hotel. The view from the rooftop, i believe, is the best view of the lake amongst all of the rooftop view we went to. Too bad the pool isnt overviewing the lake as well. It wouldve been magnificent. We had room service. The pho and chicken wings were delicious. Would definitely come back again
Great location, customer service, view of the lake, high quality feel. The roof top pool wasn't available and building work is taking place next door. We were not advised of both
We loved this hotel. The staff kept our big bags while we traveled to Sapa. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious but way overpriced. The pool had construction going on around it while we were swimming which was the only downfall
Wekend at Hanoi
Great location of amazing hotel
Beautiful lobby, room was nice. Great view from rooftop bar. The pool was too cool to swim in when we were there.
Excellent hotel!! No complaints at all!! Highly recommended for a great place to stay in Ha-Noi.
