The location of the hotel is wonderful- you can walk to all the main attractions. The room was large and spacious bed- the only thing I would change would be the hair dryer (which looks like it has come out of the 70s).
Very clean, friendly staff. Breakfast included - not mentioned that it's served at another hotel a brisk walk away. No elevator, be prepared for stairs. Our room had no shower curtain, total flood when showering, water everywhere. Had fun at pub next door.
Nice hotel close to the old town
Nice hotel with lovely rooms which were comfortable and beautifully presented . Underfloor heating in bathroom . Only downside is they didn't serve breakfast and had to go to nearby hotel . Car parking to rear
Good location mediocre hotel
We expected a 3 star hotel, it is called a boutique hotel and is in the old town. There is no lift.no minifridge, no kettle and very steep stairs. A key is needed to access the hotel although the front desk is staffed and will let you in. Breakfast is at the Narutis 5 star hotel hotel nearby and its a great hotel I would stay there next time. Toiletries were only provided on the first day and not replenished in the three nights we stayed but towels were changed daily.I I would not personally stay there again or recommend this hotel for anything other than it is quiet and has a good location, staff were friendly and speak english.
Felt like it was an odd location at first, we arrived late a night. But in the morning it revealed itself to be a nice spot.
Recommend to stay here!
(+) Reasonable price, clean and comfortable beds, spacious restroom, nice staff, tasty breakfast. They even give a spa coupon for a welcome gift. (-) In some room, wifi signal is under 2 levels (and it was my room...). The hotel does not have own restaurant, so you should go to another hotel 5 mins away. 3 stories but no elevator.
Just perfect
Ideal location in a beautiful city. Comfiest Hotel bed ever & delicious breakfast... well worth the short walk.
Comfy bed. Spacious room. Knew there were no other facilities but it was perfect for our three nights' stay.
Lovely hotel I would use again
Rarely stay in a boutique hotel but it wax excellent, very good room, only complaint is that I would like to have had tea and coffee or even just a bottle of water in the room as there is no restaurant.
Good stay but...............
Helpful and friendly staff, good-sized comfortable room and bathroom, excellent position in old town. However, it is not made clear that breakfast is 300m away and although it is excellent when you get there, adverse conditions could make this an unpleasant experience. The situation would be much improved if a simple tea/coffee facility were available in every room OWNERS PLEASE NOTE.
Apia in the centre!
Great little hotel. Pity no one mentioned, or described on your website, that the retsaurant for breakfast is located several blocks away. THis in the winter is not very pleasant. So forget about just putting on some slippers and going downstairs for bfast. You have to properly get dressed, coats and gloves, in order to eat in the morning. The receptionists were awesome, very friendly and always ready to help. The mattresses in the room are extremely soft. The kind you would find in hotels back in the 80s. But perfect location and atomosphere.
Little cozy paradise in Vilnius
Perfect cozy rooms in the center of the city. The interior really brings the feeling of Vilnius into the rooms. When we come back we will definitely stay there again and recommend it. Perfect location, walking distance from pretty much around the old town of Vilnius. And has parking for the car, how amazing is that!
A look at Vilnius
I wanted to see Lithuania. I have had many contacts through the year with the Lithuanian community in Chicago and circumstances provided me with the chance to visit the country this year.
Great location in the old city. Had a room towards the road which was a bit noisy especially over the weekend as a bar with people sitting and drinking outside is nearby. Also passing cars can be a bit noisy in the narrow roads. Room was very clean, bright and spacious. The internet seems unreliable and didn't work the first day. Reception was aware of the problem but said management knows and does not act.
sadly not what I needed for my business trip
Maybe I should have done more research and looked at the hotel's site to find out that the breakfast is NOT in the same hotel but 300m away, because Hotels.com didn't mention it in clear writing! The hotel is very pretty, the rooms are very nice and comfortable, all you would expect. Negatives: - breakfast not on site - WIFI was not working on arrival - very few power plugs in very inconvenient locations and all used for lamps - no lift (not too much of a problem as there aren't many floors, but something to bear in mind) - although the street looks quiet, you could hear people talking at midnight on a work day as if you had the window wide open - gaps under the door of the room meant I heard all travelers as clear as if I had been next to them when they went back for their rooms. Do not expect a traditional hotel chain, it's more boutique with all the noise that you would get in a typical house that you shared with roommates. I would not recommend it for business travel.
Cozy hotel in the middle of Old Town
The location of Apia Hotel is really great. There is also big parking behind the building which is necessary in such crowded and busy place. Rooms are really beautiful and clean. In each of them (we booked three) were big bath tubs and every room was individually decorated. Staff is very nice and helpful. The only problem was with noisy street which is very close, just through the window.
Perfect service
Very quiet and clean
Very comfortable hotel. The breakfast is a few minutes walking (5 stars hotel)
excellent location small hotel
No elevator and room was on the third floor. Breakfast is in another hotel 10 min away, although excellent and worth the unusual walk to have morning coffee. Hotel was difficult to find, not clear signs on the front in a very narrow street.
Convenient and Clean Hotel
Overall, the Apia Hotel was nice. The employees were very helpful and friendly. I liked that it was a small hotel in a converted house. The room was clean when we arrived and it was cleaned daily while we were there. The location is on a quiet side street, very close ro all of the main sights in Old Town. The biggest problem we encountered was that the Wi-Fi was not reliable. It only worked in certain areas of our hotel room. It is also worth mentioning that the included breakfast is actually at a another hotel a short walk away. It was a nice breakfast, though, but not as convenient as if it were in the same building.
In the heart of old town.
The location was a short walk away from everything in the city centre. We had an amazing 4 day experience. :)
not for a summer stay
room facing the street. it's next to the bar so loud drunks outside under my window every night, can't sleep. No Air Condition so i have to pick.... open window and noise or semi quite and chock from heat....
Cozy hotel with large rooms
Comfortable, clean, warm.
Poor experience
Decided to stay in this hotel b/c on images it was looking really nice, boutique and unique. As the result we were quite disappointed. Nothing too critical, but will never stay again. 1. Our room did not feel cool. I'd rather say it was cheap. 2. No "welcome" water in the room. Late in the evening, I went to the reception to buy a bottle - after salty dinner - and they charged me 7 euro. It was the cheapest option! 3. Due to roof windows - even with the curtains - it was still too much light, and a little hard to sleep. 4. Very loud music from the bar outside 5. Very poor soundproofing in the rooms. Our neighbor was talking loudly on the phone up until 2 am and it's all been heard so I personally cannot sleep. 6. The roof shape is not comfortable and even dangerous, at least in the bathroom (too low). I hit my head at least twice. My height is 180 cm 7. No breakfast onsite, you should go to another hotel. Not critical, but still a little inconvent. We were expecting more from 5-star hotel breakfast, but it was just ordinary. 8. Location is nice!
Good hotel to stay at.
Wonderful and restful.
The location is perfect, breakfast ok, nice cosy rooms with different styles. I think Vilnius is thebest in the summer
Breakfast walk
Be aware that you have to walk about 5 mins to another hotel for ( excellent) breakfast. The weather was good while we were there but it could be an issue if it is raining. The location of the hotel is very good being a short walk to the old town and there are several restaurants near by. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable but there was no lift. Try for a room on the first floor.
Perfect little spot in Old Town
We highly recommend the Apia Hotel. The rooms and hallways are tastefully decorated, with a very homey feel. Although there is no elevator, as is the case with many places in old towns, our host insisted on helping me with my heavy bag. Close to everything and quite peaceful. We loved our stay in Vilnius and the Apia.
Nothing special
Nice interior but no attitude to details like a curtains it was too bright to sleep as sun is up from 5 am. No working condition.
There are better alternatives !
This is a 1 star hotel & no bar/lounge. Other than a well decorated room and bathroom (with no ventilation) and an outrageously priced automat in (24hr) reception for water that's it folks. Breakfast at another hotel (only 400m. away but a pain when bad weather) and is nothing special. Also my car was damaged by the hotel parking barrier falling during passing and they refuse to accept responsibility !
Nice hotel
great location
In the heart of old Vilnius
Great location. Nice hotel, breakfast 3 mins walk but great (5*). Beware of transport costs - hotel charge for transport from the airport excessive, taxi prices vary very much - ask beforehand, try to get info from some locals.
Clean spacious hotel on side street
Hotel is perfectly located and you get a nice big room for the money. Breakfast is at another hotel, but very close and nice. I highly recommend this hotel
The right place
Probably not as good of room as I generally think of for the money, nothing really wrong with it either but the people who work there are great, extremely helpful and there's no better location for seeing Old Town Vilnius. Old Town is small enough you can walk all over from most any hotel and never have walked half a mile.
Quiet, great location and gret breakfast
The location is excellent: right in the center of old town Vilnius. There are ample restaurants, bars, cafes, just steps away. The hotel is clean, looks recently updated, and has historical charm. The breakfast , which is served at a fancier sister hotel down the street, is really excellent and copious. I stayed 4 days and never ran out of new things to try. The coffee served at breakfast wasn't great, but it is possible to order an espresso drink (at a charge). I think this hotel was a great value and would recommend it for most people. The only issues I had were 1)slow and sometimes intermittently connected Wifi on the 3rd floor and 2)the absence of a desk or chair in the room, which was only equipped with a bed, two small round tables, and a cabinet to hang clothes and to stash a suitcase. The lack of a desk was inconvenient given that I was there for business. I did have the smallest room category and noticed that some rooms did have desks/chairs. There is also no common space, aside from a couch in the entryway downstairs. As I mentioned above, there are various bars and cafes nearby, including one on each side of the hotel and a very cozy cafe with ample comfortable seating just two doors down. My other critique would be that while the main daytime staff was very friendly and helpful, some of the others were not very friendly or talkative and perhaps even a bit gruff.
Great stay at the Apia.
Great location. A little crazy to actually try and drive to, but manageable. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room, charming. In the heart of old town.
Well Located and Great
The room was great & very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.
An Excellent Place to Stay
Apia was a perfect place to stay right in the old town and has excellent service.
Jubileumstur med venner
Veldig koselig hotell med hyggelig betjening. Sentralt i gamlebyen med herlig frokostbuffet 300 m ned i gata. Anbefales!
Klein, aber fein. Hervorragende Lage mitten in der Altstadt. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Haus, im Hof. Zufahrt allerdings nur nach Rückfrage zu finden. Sehr gute Betten.
Location is amazing, in the heart of Old city. Breakfast is served in 5* hotel Narutis, 7 minutes walk from Apia, but it's a pleasure to walk here. Staff also is very friendly and nice. Very good choice to stay in Vilnius.
Pleasant stay
Room was nice and clean, no complaints. Breakfast was served in Narutis hotel nearby and it was great.
Luksusta edullisesti
Vilnan keskustassa Apia on ihan hyvällä paikalla.
Koselig boutique hotell i gamlebyen
Erinomainen aamiainen kuohuvan kera.
Zeker z'n prijs waard.
Close to old town
Hyvä valinta
Heno hotelli hienolla paikalla Vanhassa kaupungissa.
Zeer goed gelegen. Mooie, grote en rustige kamer. Zeer goed ontbijt in 5-sterren hotel in de buurt. Positief verrast door gratis welness beurt.
Superb hotel, with spacious rooms. Right in city centre!
Hyvä ja siisti hotelli keskeisellä paikalla. Hyvä aamiainen muutaman sadan metrin päässä ***** hotellissa
Hyvä valinta majapaikaksi
Todella tilava huone. Hyvä kylpyhuoneja amme. Bonuksena oma parveke. Persoonallinen sisustus ja mattoja lattialla. Siivous joka päivä. Respasta sai lainaan sateenvarjon tarvittaessa.
arjen luksusta
Loistoluokan pieni hotelli jossa useimmat huoneet sviittejä aamupalalle piti tosin kävellä muutama sata metriä toiseen hotelliin mutta siellä huipputason aamiainen kuohuviineineen alakerrassa pub/ruokaravintola, josta hieman ääniä loppuillasta - mutta sulkeutuu jo klo 22 yksisuuntaisella kadulla viemärin kansi kolahteli jokaisen auton ohi ajaessa mutta yöajan liikenne oli hyvin vähäistä lähellä lukuisia ruokaravintoloita
well....
It is little bit different than I checked through hotels.com. It is too expensive because there is no elevator, restaurant....They gave me some coupon for the breakfast, but I had to walk 300km to have a breakfast....For the business trip, i do not want to propose this hotel.
Mukava ja ylellinen pieni hotelli vanhassa kaupungissa. Avulias henkilökunta.
Apia Hotel | Hotel in Vilnius | Travala.com
A very good location. Breakfast is in another hotel, but well worth the walk. We had a lovely big room and bathroom on the first floor. Hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
