Good location next to shopping mall and close to train station. Apartment good size but not logically toilet in one room and sink in another. Very dirty carpet. Heating centrally set to 19 degrees. They are rebuilding part of Apartment so maybe will be better in the future.
Good
Great second stay
Lovely Nice trip at Nice
Nice staff, especially the Receiption pretty young lady, she’s always smile, friendly and helpful. Good and comfortable room. Very convenient location, shopping mall in the opposite side.
Staff were very friendly and helped us find a place to watch the Olympics opening ceremony the day we checked in. Cold water dispenser by the front desk was heavenly on hot summer days. Kitchen had everything to make easy lunches and dinners. Location close to Nice-Riquier meant we could easily travel around the coast very easily.
Property policy was different to what we saw when we booked. It was mentioned that property will provide daily cleaning which was not the case when we checked in. Additional to that we were told that they don’t provide shower towels and if we want to have they will charge us 8 € per towel. I had to buy from the store new ones for 4 people since we stayed for 4 nights.
I found the hotel staff to be very helpful.
Very clean apartment. Good location & had everything we needed. Perfect fir our trip
Bedding is most important and it was terrible.
Horrible bed! Old, deformed, bumpy uncomfortable mattress; little room around bed. Dirty/stained carper. No furniture in balcony. Bathroom ok, but awkward placement of shower head. Insufficient toilet paper. Fine breakfast and very nice server/cook. Area/location not very nice.
Staff were always available for questions and were friendly and helpful! Main bed was very comfortable and pull-out couch was okay, although not as comfortable as the main bed. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs and was wonderful to have the dishwasher and fridge.
Near McDonalds and shopping centre and near the train station
They knocked on the door when we were still sleeping to clean the room and didn’t come back for a couple of days.
Property was good in general and staff was helpful but the issue is that wireless network never worked in the room: It worked fine in the lobby but not in the room.
Niice, Cannes and Monaco
Communication with the hotel was not great as we messaged to ask for a room with a walk in shower. The hotel did not respond. When we arrived the allocated room had a shower over the bath. However, the vert helpful gentleman at reception changed our room straight away without any fuss. The hotel os great with everthing you need. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short distance from Nice centre and all the attractions. Tram and bus stops sre minutes away. We would recommend this hotel gor a visit to Nice.
Update needed
Slightly shabby and in need of an update. Good location, friendly staff.
Very quiet and good size room
Very spacious and well maintained room (s). Very quiet. Would benefit from more small items such as teapot / Cafetiere etc. Easy walk to train station.
Apartments are not what you see in pictures …
Apartments - if you are a family of 4 - are quite small. Hard to move once sofa bed is open. Hallway carpets stained & dirty ( may be related to pet-friendly policy ). Helpful reception staff doing their best.
Great front desk service and breakfast, clean room.
Great location and clean safe hotel
The location is ok, staff are nice and helpful. Fairness cleanliness The bed and pillows were horrible
Close to conference center
The hotel is quite old, and not so well maintained (dirty carpets in the hallway etc). We asked for special food (gluten-free), that was not available on the first day and then on the fourth. There's no room service (cleaning) for the first week, and we needed to take out our trash. Would have been nice to have it clearly stated on the hotel page. Besides that, the staff is nice and the location is close to the conference center.
Dated hotel.
A little dated. Not so clean for a 5 nights stay.
Location was very convenient and easy to get to shopping, dining , transport and groceries. It was a bit noisy due to traffic. The toilet was inconvenient because it was separate from hand washing facilities which were in another room. The cooking elements were not working properly and could not be fixed.
Location was great
Tired but inexpensive
Overall very good value for money but the property needs serious investment to refurbish the rooms. Had a one bedroom apartment, everything you need but very tired. The price was very reasonable, the location very good (can walk anywhere) and proximity of the tram. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Great product who could be excellent if renovated.
I liked the Sun Terrace, the swimming pool, my room, the balcony, the soap choice - designer. In both bathroom and kitchen. I didn't like the microwave or the toaster. The lifts seemed to have a mind of their own. The cleaner wouldn't clean my room for 3 days after i requested my bins empty due to banana skins blackening. The hotel was like a prison for condemned people. It had an atmosphere of being like a holding cell before one is executed and also very torturously. I didn't like that as it felt inappropriate for me. Likewise the artwork above my bed. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and the breakfast exprience was interactive. Some of the staff were amateurish and not like the hotel staff where i stayed in Hong Kong. I thought some of the staff were wrong how they treated me. The hotel was very cheap. I didn't like tge other guests - i preferred the people in the Trams and felt i belonged in Nice. I felt accepted and at home. Nicoisezee are very nice-looking and highly intelligent people like myself and they do funny things which UK people would find rebellious and make tgem uncomfortable and cross. I am like a Nice Person, judging by tge people on the trams. They are very sensitive and non-accusitive on the Nice Trams, the complete opposite to everyone on Edinburgh's Lothian Buses. They absolutrely loathe me in Edinburgh and find my Nicoise behaviour aggressive and offensive but in Nice they find it stimulating and enjoy it because they are like that.
We like the fact that it was closed to everything. We did not like the fact that the stove did not work properly.
Terrible communication and staff management
Communication is terrible at theis property. Never answers the phone and waits to answer the following day when they know you are asking for a cancellation.
Séjour agréable
Séjour très agréable, appartement qui vaut bien les 4*
Comfortable Stay - Would Recommend
Great hotel in a good location. The room was extremely comfrtable and the staff were great - extremely accommodating; especially with the Covid-19 situation getting worse.
Nice for families
The hotel is in a very good condition, but the street was blocked on construction and we had really bog issue getting in. The parking is not marked and no place for short stop. Accept for this all was very good. We were welcomes with water and cookies, the room was clean and tidy. Some ols stains on the carpet, but Accept for this no big issues
Great Stay
Excellent. Room is big, fully equipped with utensil etc, refrigerator, toaster, common washing machine vending. Location wise also not too bad as close to tram line and not far from flix bus stand.
Clean and nice room. The only issues is that the internet is horrible and power us unexpectedly cut with no reason given.
lovely clean apartment which was centrally located to town centre as well as having nearby transport links.
Great apartment but poor gym
Excellent apartment. Clean, well equipped and high standard. Only disappointment was the gym
Great hotel, hudge aparment, clean and well equipped.
Lovely property great location and the roof top pool was a great addition particularly in the mornings
Good location the management have listened to previous negative reviews and provided additional items in room such as sponge dish washer tablets washing liquid etc.
The apartment was clean and had all the facilities that you need. The bathroom was clean too.
Nothing my Condition is not working I don’t have to sleep in the floor that same night so
Poor breakfast for the price paid. Everything else was good
Nice place. Will come back.
Nice hotel, convenient location to the tram which takes us straight to the train station. Really have no complaints. The only obvious quirk in the apartment as noted by other comments is the toilet is in its own room with no wash stand. Just a little quirk. Otherwise nice place.
Very spacious , close to the station for trips . Friendly helpful staff This was our third visit . Would stay again But the only issue was the toilet was where you walk in and the sink / bath shower was in the bedroom. Not In the same vacinaty ,so bit unhygienic and a bit of a pain. Overall good stay.
Upgraded on request to a one bedroom which was great. Clean, spacious and comfortable. It would be good to have tea/coffee sachets provided. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Comfy bed and two teenagers loved the sofa bed. Most basic things needed for self- catering needs and super handy shopping centre over the road. Position of hotel meant that we were central to walk and this beautiful city.
This was our second stay with the first being around 7-8 years ago. The hotel is still great but the carpets were looking quite dirty this time round. It’s still a good place to stay for a Nice city break! Close to a supermarket and a tram line. We would return!
Hotel was excellent, it had everything we needed. The hotel was very clean, our room was very clean.
We really enjoyed our stay at hipark, the staff were very helpful. The apartment we stayed in was very nice and clean.
The location was very convenient, requiring only a few minute walk to get to the nearest tram station and only ~15 minutes to get down to the old town area. The room was simple but clean, and the basic kitchen supplies provided were very helpful for making quick breakfasts in the morning. The big problem we had, however, was that the wifi was exceedingly slow and often impossible to connect to from our hotel room. This resulted in the need to go out and find coffee shops that offered better connections (and hope they were still open at useful hours) when we wanted to plan our next day's activities or get some work done.
Over all it is a very nice and friendly place , Good location
Really pleasant stay. Close to public transit and also has eateries and supermarket right outside the facility. Swimming pool and gym are okay. Rooms have a lot of stains but comfortable beds. Access to full kitchen is great and overall a pleasant stay for families.
Very nice, clean, good location
The property was nice , very convenient, great location. Across the street is a mcdonald n carrefour major market they sell everything . The tram and train is walking distance. Villefranche beach is 1 train stop away , villefranche is beautiful and nice restaurant on the beach . The hotel doesn't clean your room unless you pay 8 euro .
affordable clean hotel
I chose it for parking. price and location are convenient. Location is also good. 15 min walk distance to city center . Room was not big and comfortable for 4 person. staff was helpful and kindly.
Well situated and practical apartment hotel.
A reasonably priced apartment hotel which is well situated in Nice. The hotel was clean and friendly. The only downsides were the beds were uncomfortable, and the pool could be better. But for a few days away it is fine.
Property is Good but with some exceptions
Pros: 1) This Hotel is located nicely for someone who wants to commute to Cannes,Monaco as the Nice Riquier station is 5-6 minutes walk from this hotel. 2) Bus no. 98 from Airport takes you near the hotel(10 minutes walk) 3) Close to tram station 4) Reception staff are nice and speak English. They are also available 24x7. 5) Tiny roof top Swimming pool(opens 7am to 9pm during summer) and decent facilities. 6) There's a huge mall right infront of the hotel 7) Mcdonald's for a quick snack is right infornt of the hotel and it opens until mid night. Cons 1) Breakfast is on expensive side which we didn't try. And menu doesn't look that exciting. 2) Though the hotel(more like Apartments) is good, we were bit unlucky with our studio apartment(for 4) as the bathroom was bit smelly and shower door wasn't properly closing and it made the bathroom even worse with water spilling. 3) 15 minutes walk to beach
Good location, close to Garibaldi Square
Opposite large Carrefour and shopping centre and Close to Riquier train station. Each room has its own hot water heater. Ours went off, 2 visits by the engineer over a full morning could not fix so we had to move room. New room was large and roomy, but we're not given any help moving heavy wooden baby cot, our 2 children/pushchairs, or luggage. One morning the pool was a grey colour and a soup consistency. Reported to reception and by early afternoon was back to clear. Reception was friendly and were given iron and extra pillows. Nothing in room like tea towels, dish sponges, washing up liquid. Carpets stained. Cannot use balconies, not allowed to drybanyyhing outside, no balcony furniture and not allowed to move room furniture out, also no sunbeds around pool, apparently not allowed they said. We booked hotel last minute and paid far too much, if booked and not expensive then a respectable budget hotel. Enjoyed stay overall but could have been better.
Big Apartments style fit all the family. Walkable to NICE all tourist amenities. Parking available in the property.
Pretty pleased
We stayed 3 nights found the area great. Supermarket opposite so filled our fridge with snacks. It took about 10 mins to walk to the port. Clean room and comfortable
Location location location
Very rude lady worked in front desk. Bad WiFi.NO saop:( some of the staff were mean and rude. But I enjoyed my stay bc of the location. It was clean and nicely decorated.
Great Stay and Perfect Location. Easy walk from the metro station. We loved this apartment hotel. It was very clean and spacious. Location is key , and an easy walk around the city. Close to shops and restaurants. Staff very helpful! Close to train station as well. The pool was a huge hit with our family!
Great location - once you get your bearings it’s easy to walk anywhere (even with grumpy teenagers!) and the tram is really useful. Rooms are basic but clean and practical. WiFi connection is awful which infuriated said teenagers, and the addition of sun loungers (and towels) by the pool would be a huge improvement. Definitely recommended for a short break in Nice though.
Breakfast on day one was great. Day two we went later (9.30) and many items had run out. One family asked for more of one of the cold meats at the same time as I asked if there were more scrambled eggs (9.45). The cold option was delivered but the hot was not even though several people (~15) came in after this. In general the breakfast room is set up to cater for business customers and not families / domestic travellers. It would benefit from being much larger.
Good location. Stayed before. Disappointed that room was not serviced. No towel changes etc. I know it was apartment hotel but previous stay 2 years ago it was cleaned and towels changed.
Good location
Needed to be in Nice for a conference and wanted a place close to the Acropolis congress centre. Location was great in that regard and there was a supermarket across the street which was useful so I could pick up a few things to make quick meals. There were not a lot of good restaurants around the area. The room was a studio with a small kitchenette. It was basic but clean and had pretty much all the things I needed for a short stay. Bathroom was excellent with awesome shower pressure. The front desk staff were very pleasant.
Spacious hotel apartment close to the Promenade
The apartment we stayed in was at the back, quiet, clean and spacious for 2 people. The staff spoke English and were helpful and quite friendly. There was no wardrobe or anywhere one could hang their clothes which we found rather unusual. Location was great, close to shops and tram stop and within a walking distance to the Old Town and the Promenade. Will definitely go back.
Overall, disappointed with this choice of hotel
This hotel is definitely not 4 star. The hallways have an unpleasant oforand the layout of the room is very strange because there is no sink in the room where there is a toilet. There was no soap to wash your hands and when asked about this at the front desk, the reply was that ‘the order had not come in yet’. The bed was hard and the pillows were thin. The sliding doors between the bedroom and living area were poorly hung. Bedroom area is very small. Living space is fine and has a small balcony but we had to close them due to noise from neighbours. Also smelled weed being smoked from balcony above. The staff didn’t seem like they wanted to be there...probably tired from hearing complaints. The location was fine. A close walk to the tram stop and across the street from a shopping mall, The hotel website doesn’t live up to its hype.
Nice hotel close to the center town.
We had some problems. The toaster was filthy, a bath towel was missing, the sink was covered, but everything was solved. The worst part was that they were asking us to check out one day before.
Very comfortable stay
We had a very comfortable stay at Hipark. We were unable to check in on the supposed day of check in and we informed the hotel reception through email, their respond was very quick and efficient. The facilities provided in the room we booked for was excellent, there was a convertible sofa bed and the kitchenette had everything from an electric stove, oven, toaster, dishwasher and complete with essential tableware. We stayed during winter time and the heating system worked perfectly. We really felt at home in our room and we highly recommend this place to anyone including families.
Good price.
Good location and convenient to public transportation.
Hotel in Great Location
Good location. Clean and comfortable. Friendly front desk staff
No cleaning services for stay less than 7 days, previously there was room cleaning servive eevry 2days for stay less than 7 days which is more reasonable
Satisfactory
Table slightly too small. But bed wide. A bit a lack of electric light for the overall room.
Good place to stay in Nice
Very convenient apartment hotel is located in central Nice, not far from Vielle Nice (old city) nad Railway Station. The building seemed a bit worn down to me but authentically friendly staff made up for the first impression. My apartment was clean and spacious, consisting of hall, small living room with kitchenette (kitchen table should be bigger, I think) and large bedroom with direct access to bathroom with nice, comfortable shower. Minor downfall was scarce kitchen equipment. Otherwise- we loved our apartment and we liked it location very much.
Suite a bit small, but ok for few days
Great stay
It’s just amazing ☺️. Lovely stay, luxurious room. Everything was perfect. Really recommended
Great hotel, friendly receptionists, gave great Info about the local area
Good place, large for the cost, in front of a large Carrefour. It even had a ref, ovens and utensils.
hipark suites
it was lovely. excellent place
Fabulous apartment, very modern and clean (except the stained carpet). One middle age male at the reception is extremely helpful and friendly. Sorry I forgot to ask his name. His English is also excellent. We will definitely use Hipark again. Thanks Aurora
Not good
Dirty hotel, installations are not taken care off and staff is rude. It is also not in a good location and it takes 30 min to get to the main area.
Very spacious and remodeled!
This hotel is located fairly walking distance to all major attractions. Our room was very spacious like a small apartment. It was fully equipped. Beds were comfortable! I could only complain about the staff and their warmth. They don't seem very eager to help and accommodate with common questions/requests. For example, we requested one more blanket because we were cold and someone delivered it to us and told us to put the blanket in the douvett sheet ourselves. Another thing, the staff at the reception often had internet problems so they were not able to help or showed that they are truly sorry that they can't assist. For example, the staff member couldn't help me find St. Paul de Vence on her computer, so she just handed me thick brochure. Instead of her finding the particular page and map in the brochure, she just handed it to me and stood there staring in the computer for 5 min or so without saying or doing anything. I wasn't sure if I should be waiting or leaving. In the meantime, I found the page in the brochure, logged into my phone on-line and googled the map and route of that location. So in general, they just seem to do minimal of what is asked of them. They are not making you feel welcome or cared for.
Excellent customer service! Staff also speaks English! However, carpet in our room was stained. Room is being cleaned every other day. I left tips for the cleaning crew, but I regret it. Tissue was low but was not added. Toilet paper was low but was not added. Kitchen sink itself was not cleaned. I did dishes myself prior.
Very modern boutique in Nice city center
The hotel is very well-maintained with clean, spacious, elegant rooms. The beds and furniture are very comfortable, and there are convenient amenities in the suites such as refrigerator and kitchen sink. The only puzzling thing is there isn't a sink in the guest bathroom, and the only complaint is the hotel doesn't lend power adapters (they can be purchased). However, U.S. guests can charge their electronics on the TV. The hotel includes laundry facilities, which are extremely easy to use as the washers are pre-filled with detergent. It's located in the center of the city, which allows discerning tourists to walk through residential neighborhoods before embarking to the tourist destinations. It's directly across from a mall, which has a supermarket, drug store, and a couple of wireless stores for those who need to purchase local SIM cards. It's a short metro ride to Nice's Old Town (Vieux Nice) and all the most popular tourist attractions, including the Promenade des Anglais, the Colline du Chateau, and the many fantastic art museums in Nice (including Chagall and Matisse).
slightly away from city tourist center
quiet/comfortable/access to shopping center/ walking distance to city center and port. would book again if in Nice Fr.
Sofa bed was abit uncomfortable, after Afew days body started to hurt. Nonetheless great hotel would defo recommend & stay in again
Dirty, dirty, dirty
I have been traveling for 2 weeks with my family in France. We have stayed in various cities and hotels and by far, this was the most disgusting facility to stay in. The hallways and rooms were filthy with dust and dirt. It seems no one has vacuumed the hallways for ages. The hallways and room carpets are light colored and covered with stains that no one bothered to clean. The hallway walls are all stained and run down. The bathroom sink, tub and even kitchenette sink were all filthy. The decorative bed cover was stained. I called the reception to complain about our room was not made up or cleaned the second day. I was told this is not a hotel and instead a "resident". Therefore, the room cleaning is once every few days!!! This was not mentioned in their website and at the time of booking. The Buffett breakfast was very basic and the simplest I have had in all my stay in France. Do not go there. Not worth the money they charge:(((
Really nice Hotel at a good price.
Overall great place. Parking on premises with an extra fee is always handy. Walking distance from the Centre. Only down side was the bad internet. I had a nice stay.
Good spot in central Nice
Moved there mid break from previous unsatisfactory apartment. Good budget option for 2 adults and 2 teenagers
Nice place to stay
Nice, clean and tidy room with facilities. Pluses include a supermarket next door, and train station close by. However, it is not very close to the beach or to the main touristic areas, and how will have to walk approximately 20 mins. It was a very convenient stay otherwise.
Excellent service, honestly cannot go wrong!
Excellent hotel, friendly staff (Julian at the desk is a really friendly receptionist!), Right next door to the supermarket, honestly it's excellent.
Nice Hotel close to the Beach
Excellent Staff. They really helped us out during the holiday, especially Anderson. He was always keen to help with things like directions and recommending us places to go during our stay to maximise our experience. Despite slow internet it we enjoyed our stay overall
Family trip to Nice
Great hotel. Had a family suite for 5 of us (2 adults and 3 teens). Had 2 separate bdrms and living room with sofa bed. Great location. Close to train that takes u to beach. Lady at front (MIHAELA) desk went above and beyond. Printer at hotel wasn't working so she printed our boarding passes from her home. Beware of taxi drivers. Big scam. No receipt or meter turned on.. Charged us 40 euros for 5 minute taxi ride from train to hotel. Mihaela also recommend a 1 day tour of surrounding area that was awesome.
City center hotel
Great hotel .. will definitely stay here again, great staff, good breakfast, clean, neat, reception was very helpful to meet our needs
Convenience, clean
Close by the tram and grocery. Not all staff speak English. The male front desk staff was great. But the next day another older lady wasn't. She wouldn't honar us the Expedia VIP late check out. After showing her the Expedia email offer and more explanation, she reluctantly let us stay for one and a half hour more but not two. It will be great if there is better communication between the hotel staff and expedia on things like this.
Not a bad place, staff are good but biggest problem is the INTERNET, you have no connection at your room and just a little in the lobby, which is super slow, I spoke with the staff and they said they know that already let the headquarter know but cause of cost they do not care about it.
Nice for a short break
Booked a suite for 4 nights. Good location for Nice attractions, train station and shops. Room was pleasing and clean - the toilet was located on opposite side of suite to the bathroom which was odd. The air con was effective but corridors were hot and smelly. We found that one day in Nice was sufficient and so visited monte carlo, villefrance sur mer and sainte maxime on other days using the train and hire car - parking at the hotel is underground and cheaper if you book online. €15 per night V €18. There were no irons in the suite - getting these from reception required a €50 deposit.
Don't stay here if you need WiFi
Hotel has unusable WiFi. It is impossible to connect at anything more than 14.4 kbps - which is dial up speed from the 1990s. The internet is also slow when connecting via Ethernet. The hotel told me that it is 'busy' and so the internet is slow, but this is the speed at 4am as well. I haven't stayed in a hotel with such slow WiFi ever. As a consequence, it is impossible to Skype with work. Impossible to download emails or check newspapers. And worse still, there is no option to upgrade to a paid tier of WiFi so I just want to leave now before Monday when I need to be in contact with work. I won't be able to work in my room or in the lobby (where the internet is just as bad). I won't stay here again due to the internet performance. Other than that, there are plenty of things to like about the hotel. The rooms although due carpet cleaning / refreshment are very comfortable. There are electric security blinds to block out sun and enjoy a good sleep. The air conditioning is effective. The kitchenette seems to lack sharp knives so cutting bread is impossible. The pool is small but good for an evening cool down. It like to come back to this property but the internet is so bad that it isn't even acceptable even if the purpose of my trip was 100% leisure. Also towels are old and thin and need replacing.
Close to rail for transportation
Few issues they need to improve on. Water leaks from the shower, No hot water sometimes in the shower, no maintenance staff to rectify problem for DIY, hotel receptionist had to run from reception to try and rectify problem, breakfast room to small to get breakfast after a pack room filled with teenagers.
Aparthotel Adagio Nice Centre | Hotel in Nice | Travala.com
Stayed here for 1 night with our 4 children. Excellent price, clean and comfortable room, very comfortable beds. Location also good. Corridoors in poor condition.
