Wonderful place, very clean and cosy. Tram and groceries are a short walk away, and there is a good selection of restaurants nearby.

The property was close to public transit so it was very easy to get into the city center. Two grocery stores were around the corner so very easy to purchase food. The room was never cleaned despite staying longer than 7 nights. We also had issues with our room code not working. Overall, it was a good stay and would recommend.

It has been a pleasant stay, great location!

The apartment itself was nice, though you can tell it's high turnover. But we had a big problem with noise. The 2nd night we had a family with what sounded like a domestic dispute and the kids going absolutely crazy. 3rd night a group checked in nextdoor for the night to have a crazy party. From 6pm to 10am they never stopped, it was absolutely terrible. We also had their cigarette smoke come into our room all night, when the property does not allow smoking. We called security 3 times to ask for help, but they basically told us there is nothing they can do and we can confront them ourselves. Which would have likely been dangerous. We did not sleep the entire night with a very important event the next day. It was almost a traumatizing experience. Would never stay again and assume this place is used for this sort of thing frequently.

Lovely furnished apartments with easy access to the centre of Stockholm. Some of the apartment was looking a bit tired, but it wasn't an issue. Bed was comfortable and the terrace was an excellent place from which to watch the aurora and thunderstorms.

I like it overall. Parking was little complicated because of signing and access. I recommend it tho.

We had a great time. The apartment was super convenient to the tram station, food and grocery. It was easy for us to get around and enjoy Stockholm. Very quiet at night and we had our windows open to let in the fresh air!

Nice Place in the Burbs

The location is a little out of the way but public transportation isn’t too far away. When we were there the tram line was under construction but several bus lines served the area. The apartment is comfortable though the AC did not work. Even though it was summer, and actually quite warm, the temps in the apartment were bearable and simply opening the door at night was enough to let some cool air in. The bed was comfortable but I wish there’d been more pillows. The little square pillow just wasn’t enough for me. The shower pressure was fantastic, as was the hot water and the height of the showerhead. Those things can make or break a stay and definitely fall in the pro column.

My checking time was 15.00, but I visited there around 18.00. When we checked the room it was not prepared and I had to call them and wait more than 1 hour outside around one hour until the room to be ready. I was with my kids and they had a bad experience due to this situation. Other than that room was as described.

Really nice place. Accessible to trains and trams into main city. Clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Our cab driver has a hard time finding the place. It can use better or more prominent signage.

Had a wonderful experience! The area was close enough to the center, clean apartment, felt very safe and beautiful area on its own to explore. Definitely will book again here if I come back to Stockholm!

Nice apartments

Apartment was comfy and mostly well equipped. Communication before we arrived was really good fo it was easy to get there and gain access to apartment. Public transport to the city centre was not straight forward, we found it more convenient to take an Uber which wss the same price as public transport for 3 of us.

Perfect area on the edge of the city the get out of the down town areas. Easily accessible by public transportation and walkable to most necessities. Enjoy this quiet neighborhood with its up and coming restaurants while you visit the historic and beautiful Stockholm.

Perfect for a quiet getaway with family or friends

The stay was great overall. Easy check-in and check-out. We stayed for 10 nights with kids. The only thing - it would be great to have 1-3 washing washing caps for the washing machine, and a drying rack (in our apartment there was no drying option..)

The property exceeded my expectations. Gave us the freedom to do exactly what we wanted. Local amenities were good with multiple shops within a 5 minute walk, all near a tram station too. The communication from the team was superb and we knew exactly what to do when checking in and out, wish they had more options across Europe because I would use on every trip!

Dont come to this place with a car. They don't have there own parking spaces. Ive be fined 1800 cron for not parking in the right place, no mercy. Terrible parking organisation.

Great location, felt safe and quiet but also near the tram so easy to get to all the central areas. Apartment had everything needed for a short stay and all clean. Felt very good value and would book again.

Bathroom great, beds very comfortable! Didn’t like the fire alarm going off at 9am but I guess the at can’t be helped. There are only 6 lockers to store luggage once you’ve checked out, all we’re occupied unfortunately.

Pungent, poignant and mouldy

Hi, I have noted that this property is very tired, not only needs it good maintenance but also repairs and refreshing works. The walls are so thin that one can hear each sound coming from a neighbouring room, be that right, left, above or below yours. The bathroom is full of moulds. Be aware of the strong smell in the room which is poignant and pungent, an unpleasant stomach-turning stench. Not recommended.

The apartment was very clean, quiet and comfortable, and it is easy to get into the city. The apartment is suitable for a short stay, for up to four people, but is not well equipped for guests who wish to cook dinner every night for a week. We stayed for a week, and it was a little too small for four people, although we managed. Cooking was a challenge, butbif youbjustvwabt to make breakfast and picnic lunches it would be fine. It is easy to take the ferry and bus into town, and a nice area for evening walks.

Check in was easy enough. We found the room overall clean although there was countertop damage by the range top from a previous renter. We found that the washer/dryer combo was completely contaminated by a smoker smell that we could not get rid of, even when we did a clothes free wash. Ultimately, we could not use the washer. Further, the table on the back deck was damaged by cigarette burn and there were cigarette butts scattered on the roof in front of the deck.

Few minutes walking distance to train station, grocery store and quite some restaurants near by. The room is very spacious and there is washer/dryer in the apartment. Big refrigerator allow groceries shopping for the week. The apartment is clean and quiet.

Almost perfect accomodation in Stockholm

Few blocks from the Sickla Kai tram station. Coop supermarket next to the station large selection of cold deli,fruits/veggies,fuju persimmons. We have to get paper towels,tissue papers &washing detergents & shampoo,conditioner,body wash and lotion

Alternative accommodation in Stockholm

Affordable and spacious accommodation. Easy access to ferry or tram. Only 15 mins to town centres old and new. Good facilities. Would recommend if you don’t mind a short commute.

I found the ApartDirect Hammarby Sjostad not to be as clean. The building is old, which is okay, but the bathroom was dirty, and the shower door was not working, so water would leak all over the bathroom. I reported the issue, but unfortunately, no action was taken. The dishes were dirty in the cabinet, perhaps put there by the previous guests. These should be checked. Also, the noise level was high from the adjacent rooms. Location-wise, the ApartDirect is in a prime location.

My stay at ApartDirect was okay. I had reserved seven rooms for a group of students. Unfortunately, the conditions of the rooms were not as they appeared in the pictures. The building is old, which is okay, but the bathrooms could be more functional, especially the shower doors. We all had issues with water leaking through the shower doors all over the bathroom floor. The dishes should be checked as the dirty dishes were put back in the cabinet in some rooms, perhaps by the previous guests. Also, a group member had left her pocketbook with her official documents (passport, credit cards, cash, etc.) in the lobby. One of the workers had found it, but if I had not asked, we would have had no idea if it was left in the lobby. It would have helped if the worker left a note on the entrance door alerting the guests that a pocketbook had been found in the lobby. This would have reduced the level of stress. It would have helped if there had been a reception desk with someone around for help.

Spacious property in a lovely area. Easy check in process. Lidl and Coop close by. Would definitely stay here again!

Base to explore Stockholm

Great base to explore Stockholm from, with all the amenities you may require, and the ease of doing your own thing as and when you want. Good local transit connections.

Our stay was great! Would highly recommend this place but with a few caveats. The tram station that is near by the hotel was not operational so it will be a bit of a trek into the center of Stockholm if your are driven to use public transport only. Uber/Bolt's ended up ranging from 10-15 dollars a trip to the city (we split that amongst 3 of us). I wish the kitchens did have more in the way of cooking pans, utensils, basic spices like salt and pepper so it was more useful.

Nice Stay

The apartment was located fairly close to all the things we wanted to do while in Stockholm. There were a number of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. A grocery store around the corner made cooking at home easy. My only complaint is that the apartment did not come with any staples. No salt, pepper, or soap. Also. The washing machine only partially dries the clothes. So be prepared to wash and then line dry for a few hours.

ApartDirect Review

The location is great! Close to the river for nice evening walks. In terms of cleanliness, there is much room for improvement. I found the couch/sofa to be too dirty to sit on. The small rug was too dirty and the floor, especially in the bathroom could use some deep leaning. The toilet bowl was also dirty.

Room was good but noisy neighbors

Overall the room was good and we were provided with good information. My only complaint was that we had very noisy neighbors one night after midnight. I called the number that was provided but only for a recoded message to send an email, which we did. I got an automated response that someone would get back in 24 hours which wasnt helpful for out situation. We haven't gotten any response though.

Cheap apartment option in an OK area

Ok alternative as an apartment just outside central Stockholm.

I got 120 parking tickets plus they removed my stuff to a different room because I had to check out and they had my credit card they could’ve just charged me for an extra night and when I ask them I just need one more night they said no it Has to be 2 nights or you can’t stay only one night, Horrible service

Good location, clean and safe

Fantastic apartment.

The apartment was very clean and presentable. Our key code for. The building entry and apartment entry were given to us via email well in advance. The apartment was close to shops and a train station. It was peaceful in the area of a night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is located a short distance from the city, close to train, bus and food stores. The apartment is tastefully furnished, large and comfortable bed, TV with many channels, you can connect to Netflix via an app. Large and comfortable shower. There is enough equipment for the kitchen, electric stove. Exiting and entering the apartment, using a code. When we needed the building management, they responded quickly. We did not like - no hangers for hanging clothes, a small broom suitable for small children, it is not possible to open windows, hear noises from neighboring apartments.

Area around the shower needed a thorough clean. It would have been helpful if the entry instructions had been emailed earlier than a few hours before we arrived and not gone directly to spam.

Highly recommended

A comparatively inexpensive, clean, comfortable and quiet option for a visit to Stockholm. Close to transport hubs (bear in mind that Stockholm is not a huge city in the first place) and good supermarkets, shops and restaurants nearby. I’ve been staying there for almost 8 years now and still highly recommend it.

Comfortable and not expensive

It was a nice location, a small new block with new buildings, shops etc. Apartment had all the ementies, and bed was comfortable. The tram is just outside of apartment. Can be handy for those who come for longer time and want to cook. Easy accessed with the code. The minor minuses - the smell in the corridor from other people’s food. And one of the bed linens was not that fresh, but overall apsrtment was clean.

I liked the staff response however they do not have football on their tv and so I missed the Liverpool game. This meant a lot to me.

Basic accommodations, but adequate. The wall thermometer was not on and therefore no heat (a bit confusing), but there was a portable heater which was ok.

I would surely say I liked every thing. They have thought of almost everything visitors might need and made it availabe. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at ApartDirect. It is a grest desl for money.

Short stay apartment.

Nice comfortable budget stay. Really nice area with lots of amenities and good local transport link (tram 22). Do remember to take some things if you plan to cook or wash clothes as you don’t get a welcome pack so no washing tablets or oil etc. Slightly odd that it’s all self serve although there are people at the desk later in the day. There is a luggage store so if you arrive before checkin you can leave bags there. No safe in the room although we never felt that would be an issue in the area.

Please add napkins in the room. Apartment is really comfortable.

Great location, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and great service

I absolutely enjoyed this place- not very far from the center of Stockholm or Old Town, only about a 20 min train ride. It’s close to the train stop, about a 3 minute walk. It’s also a 3 minute walk to a grocery store, several restaurants or fast food locations close by, in a friendly neighborhood that feels pretty safe! The place itself is clean and well kept. Large, beautiful open windows— my only issue, is that you cannot open them. At least I couldn’t figure it out? Also our thermostat did not work. Maybe it was just my room, but I was a little upset about not having that work. It only felt stuffy for one night. Had that worked I would give 5/5 rating. Other than that, fantastic place to stay!!

There was nothing unique about the property, it lacked character. No personal touches. No garden or picnic area this was highlighted on web site. No proper balcony ,only a Juliet style one.

Great apartment, short commute to Stockholm

We loved our stay in Stockholm and were very comfortable at ApartDirect Hammarby Sjostad. The apartment was very clean and had great facilities. The location was just near a tram stop so it was very easy to commute in and out of the city.

Spacious apartment

The location is 20 mons from Central, taking the tram is relatively convenient. Supermarket and eateries within walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood. Check in was straightforward and instructions given were very clear. Kitchen is equipped with utensils, refrigerator, microwave and a small cooking area. Which we found to be a bit too small. Good for quick meals. Washing machine came in handy and easy to use. Room cleanliness was OK, could have been better. A broom was provided and we swept the room upon arrival as it was a bit dusty. Some mold in the shower area.

Nice and clean and cozy apartment

Very comfortable and nice located apart hotel in the quiet block. The tram and bus station is in 4 minutes, so you can easy move to the center of the city. There are two big product stores and one with alcohol near it, many pubs and bars, coffee and cinnamon bun place with very tasty bakery called Bröd&Salt is on the next station Luma. The apartment has kitchen with all you need for cooking, TV, fan, microwave, teapot and filter coffee maker. In the end of May beautiful white nights take place, highly recommend to attend Stockholm in these days.

A great apartment hotel

Great choice for an extended stay in Stockholm. A good kitchenette for self-catering and several groceries close by. In a residental part of town with easy connection to downtown.

The room was nice but coffee maker did not work in outlet (changed and wasnt a big deal) but lack of towels (one each for a 5 day stay), no coffee, no coffe filters, almost no kitchen utensils, just salt and pepper in kitchen made it basically impossible to cook unless you brought everything yourself...no extra blankets or anything unless you asked, no detergent for washing machine...just lack of basic things that made it seem cheap. Room was nice but there was hair on everything...cleaned up and not a huge deal but was dissapointing. Balcony has an amazing view and was good! Would come back but would definetly ask for certain things before our stay...also no toaster lol!!

Brilliant stay and place was ideal for our needs!

The stairs in the picture are deceiving - we had a studio with a bed and pull-out sofa very close to each other and the kitchen was a fraction of the size of the photo. The location is great, close to metro and easy walk to the ferry downtown as well as two supermarkets and a convenience store and restaurants. The bathroom had a mildewy smell that we could not get rid of. And don't ask for more sugar for the coffee as you will be told, if you use more than one sleeve a day, that you are not due to be sent more for 4 more days. Oy!

Clean functional appartment. Would have liked the apartment to have been serviced at least once for 4 night stay and for things not to have been taken from the room.

Exactly what we required.

We booked the ApartDirect as it featured a kitchenette, refrigerator, and rooftop balcony. (This was the Apartment Terrace Room). This apartment did not disappoint. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the decor was modern. The room included a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and a hob (no oven) for cooking. We booked the room with a balcony and were delighted by the stunning view towards the city (as well with striking it lucky with great weather). A short walk to Sickla Kaj tram station and you'll find a Coop or Lidl for groceries, Max Burger, and a Pressbyrån. From Sickla Kaj, it's three stops on the tram to the Tunnelbana (Gullmarsplan), then 3-5 stops to the main parts of the city. This property was excellent for what we required - room for 3 people with a kitchenette and rooftop balcony. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again in the future. I was emailed and texted a code for the building, my room number, and a code for the room's door a few days before arriving. Everything worked slick.

It took us a long time to find the entrance our first time there, but after that we had no trouble. The text message and email message I received with the code for the door were not the same (the text message was missing a number ) so that was frustrating because we couldn't get into the apartment at first. The bathroom was listed as private, but not attached but our apartment had the bathroom inside. Not sure if this is true for all apartments, but we were very happy that it was in fact not separate from the apartment ittself.

Lovely staff who were willing to help with any questions we may have had. Great location close to transport and the room was a dream.

Stockholm apartment

Very clean and spacious apartment, the folks at the front desk were very helpful. The location is a bit out of the way from things but close to the bus so easy to get everywhere.
