Very nice place and close to everything

ホテルのエントランス～ロビーがとても素敵！スタッフは皆さん感じよく、部屋のベッドメーキングもきちんとしていてよい。BTSラーチャダムリからすぐなので移動にも便利だし、徒歩で行ける範囲もあちこちあり、立地はいいと思う。ホテルの朝食は、かなりいろいろあり、おススメ。 また泊まりたいと思うホテル。

From the moment we arrived at the door until we checked out and left we were treated with kindness and care. Each member of staff went over and above to do everything they could to help us.

Stay was made exceptional by the staff

The staff are amazing, especially the Concierge staff (callout to Sprite, Jam and Mike) who always had a smile and helped us out on many occasions during our stay. The breakfast buffet was abundant, although the baked goods lacked flavour. The in-house restaurants are on the pricey side, but that's to be expected in a 5 star hotel, however many other options in the vicinity. The ground floor bar had a singer most nights... much too loud as the sound travelled up the north atrium and could be heard in my room.

Charming experience

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The property and room is clean and well maintained. Even though the hotel has upgraded to all the modern technologies, the basics like wall, floor, doors, hallways are from the 80s. There are certain charms with the classics but very different from the modern hotel decor

Fantastic

This hotel is fantastic. It’s a little old but very clean and well maintained. I like the bed and pillows.

The room I stayed was standard type but had sufficient space and was always excellent clean. Breakfast was also very good, and you should choose the Thai signature fried noodle. All staffs are completely trained. It is located very close to a BTS station and very convenient to go out, although you can walk to Erawan Phum for just 5 min and Central World shopping mall as well. I would like to come back here if I have a chance to come to Bangkok again.

Stunning anantara Siam!

It’s our first trip to SE Asia and Anantara was the softest landing one could hope for. Our room was huge and lovely, the pool was a delight and the staff were amazing. Loved it so much we booked the sister property on the river for our return trip.

One of the few old style hotels left in Bangkok. It's traditional and grand in. great location. Also a bit worn out and could use a touch up. Club Lounge was just ok and despite having many restaurants, they are all just OK. nothing amazing which is a pity. maybe better to have fewer but better restaurants. But still always a favourite place to stay or visit in Bangkok, mostly for the old school charm.

Perfect stay in Bangkok

Anantara was the perfect place. Located within a 5-ish minute walk to Siam, the staff were extremely friendly and very attentive to our needs, breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed the gym and pool very much. Thank you Anantara for making our stay in Bangkok so wonderful.

Bel hôtel et service excellent. Petit bémol la qualité de la chambre, trou non rebouché au plafond, pommeau de douche sale et rideaux usés. La chambre a mal vieilli dommage par rapport au reste. Également à préciser les travaux d’un building à côté compliqué le calme à la piscine

Staffs are friendly. Breakfast is average. Room is a bit old and smelly. Air conditioning is not working and always stays at 18c no matter how.

Professionalism and comfort at its best. • Pure perfection and every wish is taken care of, even before asking. • We have travelled to most of the countries around the world and can confidently say that this has been the best hotel we have ever stayed at. • The perfection starts with the Hotel Manager himself, who is checking everything as well personally wsihing guests a Happy New Year and making sure they are comfortable. • Every single person at the hotel is sincerely polite, friendly and helpful. • The location of the hotel is close to most of the relevant places. • The breakfast buffet does not miss a single item that one could desire. • The rooms are large, bed super comfortable and cleanliness is absolutely top. • Everything at the hotel is very generous. • Stepping inside the hotel from a busy city, one enters a wonderful space. • The authentic decoration and colours make this beautiful hotel very original and for it to stand out compared to many of the international standard hotels which all look the same. • We stayed 2 weeks at this hotel, initially one week and after travelling around for a few days, we decided to come back and stay at the same hotel in Bangkok. • We loved staying here, can highly recommend it and will not ever stay anywhere else if and when we visit Bangkok again. We are very grateful to every single member of the hotel for so amazingly creating an awesome and memorable experience for us.

You cannot find a better hotel in Bangkok, in terms of friendliness, politeness, attentiveness, professionals, cleanliness and "absolut perfection" in every sense. Every single member in the hotel is polite, friendly, sincerely caring and helpful. We could not have had a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel is walkable to most places, yet a quiet heaven (from the noise and crowd of the city) as soon as you step in. The club lounge access is very comforting with the most efficient and absolut top staff members. We would visit Bangkok again, 'only' to stay at this amazing hotel and the experience we have had. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot recommend this hotel enough.

a hotel that gave me a good memory

It's a traditional Thai hotel, but it was luxurious and pleasant. Two nights are very precious in a place with an atmosphere. I'd like to visit again.

Enjoyable stay.

The room I had was dated and not of the standard I would expect for the price. While only there overnight, I was ignored repeatedly in both the lobby area and the area in the courtyard when seeking to have something to eat and drink. While the food at breakfast was passable, having to move between 3 different areas is a problem and with no explanation of the menu on the table. While the lobby is pretty, the rest of the hotel is dated and not worth the cost of the room.

This property was a recommendation from a friend who stayed at a different location. I cannot say enough good things about this property. Lets start with the staff. Extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating from the moment my taxi pulled up to the property. The staff was extremely helpful with suggestions on the easiest way to get to the sites via the transportation system. They were also helpful with recommendations of things to see in the immediate area of the property. Turn down service each day was wonderful as well. Now, the property. It is a great property. The main lobby is elegant. There is a piano player in the bar for cocktail hour that adds to the ambiance. The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I have ever been able to have access to. The spa and staff there was great as well. The breakfast that was provided each morning was fantastic. The variety of food and service was amazing. I recommend including it in your stay. I would definitely stay at this property if I ever find myself in Bangkok again.

Incredible accommodations in the heart of Bangkok

This hotel is an incredible price for the value. The room and amenities were lovely (only downside is have to pay for minibar) and there was even a turndown service with fresh orchid petals on our pillows and a towel and slippers on either side of the bed. The staff was super accommodating, the gym and pool were wonderful (except construction sounds in the afternoon at the pool - but no biggie) and the cafe was great for breakfast! Multiple metro stops within 5 mins walk, always a cab or tuktuk available. Lovely park nearby. Overall 5/5 stay!!

Excellent location in Bangkok. Well maintained traditional Thai hotel. Restaurants were very good especially enjoyed our dining at their Guilty restaurant. Breakfast was incredible one of best... quality & variety! Pool needs a refurb however not very inviting (too shaded & mouldy)

Absolutely stunning lobby, entrance and service was above expected. Excellent hospitality and service in every aspect. Easy walk to shopping and dinning; train stops right outside of hotel making it an easy short hop to MBK shopping mall.

It was amazing! Never had such a nice hotel as this one and I’ve stayed at many nice places. This was above and beyond. Orchards in the room!

Outstanding Hotel in the Heart of Bangkok

The staff members were super friendly and professional. The hotel is so clean and has very high standards. This is a unique type of hotels.

For those of you who can afford to do so, I cannot recommend more highly this “Legacy” hotel smack-dab in the middle of busy Bangkok. Truly a “Grand Old Dame” of the genre. What impressed me most are two things: the remarkable level of personal attention and grace from the hotel staff (while not being intrusive) and absolutely the finest breakfast buffet in the country. The rooms are dated though in superb shape and well appointed - and the air conditioning works as it should! Do yourself a favor: start your journey in Thailand here. Rest up, eat at the hotel’s fine restaurants (my favorite is the one that serves Thai food) and then branch out. You simply cannot go wrong.

The hotel staff prepared a small cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was big, spacious and tastefully furnished. The hotel also provided drinking water in glass bottles, which was better than plastic bottles in my opinion. Gaysorn village and central world shopping malls were a short walk away. The BTS station Ratchadamri was also nearby. Overall, Anantara Siam Bangkok hotel was value for money and we had a very pleasant stay there.

Anatara Siam is ageing gracefully. I love the old style 5 star bangkok hotels. Room is huge, well decorated and very clean. The Aqua bar inside the hotel and poolside are great additions. As it the proximity to the Siam shopping district.

Close to train and shopping.. moka muffen was wonderful place for pastry and food

My experience from Anantra Hotel

We spent 2 nights at Bangkok in Anantra hotel which was awesome. The hotel is well designed and pleasant with diversity of great facilites (24 hour gym, restaurants, coffe, Beautiful public area..). One thing - we ate once at the Indian Accent restaurant in the hotel. the food was good, but I think the value for money is low. In a hotel like Anantra and the prices, the size of the dishes were very disappointing.

Nice staff, helpful and fast. Excellent restaurant, excellent breakfast. Great swimming pool. I was upgraded to a terribly noisy room though ( from live music just downstairs).

Lovely hotel with impeccable service in well located part of Bangkok

I don’t like the painting on top of my bed. I believe in Feng Shui. Too many eyes on the pictures. We can hv a peaceful sleep. Personal believe. No wrong no right.

Horrible stay ! When we first checked in the staff were super rude initially we checked in pretty late but they kept us waiting for so long and told us to wait on the side. Then we politely asked for a late check out since our flight was 1 am that day as we’re “ vip gold Expedia members they disregarded that and said no the latest they can do is 1 pm and THEN we asked for a room upgrade or nicer room since we are again vip Expedia members they also rejected and said no you’d think they would wanna be a little more accommodating these guys were rude and didn’t care about their guests. They then put us in the furthest wing of the hotel super old area literally 5 mins walk to and from elevator. Room was super outdated literally bathrooms from the 90s carpet was old and dirty spider webs on the corners. Absolutely shocked that this is a 5 star hotel ! Please don’t spend your money and stay there service 0 and rooms 0 nothing like the pictures.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. As soon as you walked in, the ambience made me feel so relaxed and known that I will be taken good care of. Staff are courteous, knowledgeable and friendly at all levels. Breakfast was amazing! Every staff wears a smile and sincerity while talking to the guest! Hotel is at a great location and easily accessible by sky train to many key tourist and shopping districts. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok!

Anantara Siam not for us.

Service is great. Typical Thai hospitality. Love the breakfast and staffs. Lobby is super grand. Love it! But sad to say, our stay here was not as grand. Hotel looks very aged, probably needing update soon. The wall plugs in our room is not working, carpet looks unclean. Bed is too springy and our view is looking at the plants service area, really not nice with the kind of money we paid for. The people watering those plants can look directly into our room and at us. Guess we are next to a store room too, constantly hearing knocking and glass bottles clanking. Could have updated with a bigger pool with all those concrete space around it. In fact, could have added more deck chairs for guests as it’s always filled up. Overall I think I wouldn’t come back to Anantara Siam for a while. It’s just too aged for my taste.

Very nice hotel, staff service level is top notch, room service is twice a day and all of the staff are very attentive. We liked the breakfast varieties, plenty of room for the kids to explore and the vital is located right next to a BTS. Only downside would be the new year eve performance, loud music lasted pass mid night and families with young kids wouldn’t enjoy it very much, but again it was new year eve so it’s understandable. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Best in the area

We enjoyed our stay at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff who also brought our bags to our room. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and our room in the garden terrace was lovely. The service and amenities at the hotel were excellent. In particular, we were big fans of the poolside bar service. The Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel quickly became our home away from home and we were sad to leave.

This hotel is a bit old. Even though they upgrade us to premier room but we rejected as the room is facing construction site and the room is very dark so we stay at deluxe room instead. In general, this hotel need to improve the cleanliness of the room and also need to do some renovations of the room.
