The staff at Grand Seminyak went out of their way to always help. The room cleaners did an amazing job with cleaning our room every day. Furthermore the food was nice and enjoyable.

Very nice hotel with amazing location and views. We had a jacuzzi on balcony and in bathroom but water was quite smelly and dirty. We had to get help to get it fixed. Problem was resolved quite quickly but jacuzzi jets were still not working. It’s good to check these things early but otherwise pleasant staff and great location.

The Grand Seminyak lifestyle boutique was 5 stars. The service was amazing, front of house staff Ari and Witya accommodated all our requests and were super friendly as were all the hotel staff. The room was beautiful and spacious almost like a small house inside a hotel, with our own pool just outside our back door. Food was delicious for all meals breakfast lunch and dinner and room service. For those who book early tour adventures where you are required to be picked up before breakfast speak to the front of house staff the day before as the can organise a breakfast box that you can take with you (unfortunately we where not aware of this until we left one morning but something we took note of for the future) If you have a late flight home and spend some time walking around before heading to the airport they also provide a shower room to freshen up before you leave. This location is directly at the beach front could ask for a wonderful holiday. We would definitely stay again.

The ocean view room was perfection! Spacious and a stunning room. Room was serviced twice a day. Staff we so friendly and always met you with a smile. Would definitely go back there.

Grand Seminyak is in a fabulous location. Room are large & very clean. Staff super friendly. Pool & outlook over the beach was my favourite aspect of the hotel. Breakfast could have been better but that’s a personal choice. Would definitely recommend

Our visit was incredible. The moonlite restaurant and obeach were wonderful. The service was exceptional with every intersection. If you have the opportunity to book a massage with Diah, take it. The best massage of my life. We will be back!

Good place to stay

The room just seemed heavily used, there were stains and there were visible signs of wear. I really didn’t like that there were not any new toiletries for use there was old soap containers that were just refilled. The hot water was an issue in both the bath and outside jacuzzi which made it unusable. The staff did a great job at decorating our room which was appreciated. Also the beach area was quite dead though there were a lot of things in the area no people seemed to be there.

Excellent location right on the beach, great sized rooms, friendly staff. Only negative is at night with noise from neighbouring property/ resort. At least it stops around 10pm.

Good but not great. Helps to be right at the beach

The hotel resort is adjacent a lovely beach. I stayed in a studio which was very spacious. The balcony contained a jacuzzi and lounge which received afternoon sun. The rooftop breakfast buffet was good but not amazing. The rooftop at sunset was nice for dinner or cocktails with a wonderful view over the ocean. 2 pools - one medium size and one small which you share with apartments that open to one side of the small pool. Not overwhelming but the service was great. The in house spa is overpriced for what you can experience in spas just a short walk away.

Really wonderful property, spotlessly clean, great staff, only truly beachfront resort in the area. It’s starting to show its age in some areas, like none of the jacuzzi’s work, but all pretty minor, it’s a great resort.

I would encourage you to visit this property. There is plenty to do in the neighborhood, but it is not as crazy as further south. The rooms are extraordinary. So spacious so comfortable so clean so beautiful. Very well appointed. The food is excellent at the hotel. The breakfast is excellent at the hotel. The beach is excellent. And the pool is excellent. we had to check out of the four points by Sheraton because it was horrible. This is a wonderful option.

Grand View; Grand Rooms; Grand Seminyak

Grand Seminyak is the perfect name for this hotel. The spacious Ocean View Room certainly has the wow factor. High ceilings and marble finishes as well as floor to ceiling mirror adds to the sense of grandeur. Memory foam bed and soft sheets - amazing. Loved the walk in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and a sit down dressing table. Room was serviced daily to an impeccable standard. Staff were warm and nothing was too much trouble. They were very good at anticipating our needs. Special thanks to Pera from Moonlight for organising a 3:30am breakfast box when we had an early morning tour. We were treated like VIPs every day. Great location- walk out to beach and all your needs like ATMs are a short walk. Good quality food at the resort for competitive prices and service with a smile always. The resort is not the newest but it was perfect for us. The 57 room capacity meant it was more boutique. Music by the pool daily. Saturday night the vibe was a bit like a night club with a DJ and dancers, but most nights much more relaxed, think acoustic guitar and saxophone.

We were quite disappointed with the condition of the property, to say the least. Listed as 5 star hotel, and at a premium price is absolutely wrong and abusive. Property is extremely old, and even though it change name in 2023 there was no renovation whatsoever since. Common space are extremely outdated and need a complete overhall. Staff was very friendly and accomodating, thank you! Room was clean, yet extremely outdated. We felt cheated by the pictures online, not reflecting the reality, at all

The staff at Grand Seminyak and their restaurants are incredibly kind and helpful. It was seriously so amazing to be with them. It felt like heaven. The facilities and location are great too…right on the ocean with great views. The food was delicious and the spa was so relaxing. We definitely want to come back again!

Good entertainment have a life band sing your favorite song, good breakfast everything is good.

The staff were wonderful. We could've just stayed at the hotel and enjoyed our holiday. The room was clean and better than we expected. Being close to the beach there was plenty of action so you could choose from an array on of things to do. We had an ocean view so you could take on the atmosphere, then close the double glazed door to silence the night. Overall a great time doesn't and would definitely come back.

The Grand Seminyak Lifestyle Boutique Bali Resort was fantastic. I am so glad we chose that resort to stay at. It was very modern and spacious. We had the ocean suit. There was a dressing room with vanity and wall mirror, a separate bathroom with huge walk in shower and separate space for the toilet, and the actual room had a couch/sitting area plus a large bed. The room was much more than I expected. The room passed my Clorox Wipe cleaning test, including the floor around the toilet and bathroom. It does get humid in the room from showering and opening / closing the patio door. I would recommend bringing a “damp rid” hanging bag to hang on the drying rack in the bathroom when you’re trying to hang dry your swim suit / clothes. The staff was extremely helpful and get a 10/10!! Bintang answered all questions we had before we even had to ask. The location was perfect. It is at the end of the street, directly on the beach. There was someone available 24/7 making sure the guests were safe and got to our drivers/dropped off after hours safely. I would recommend the property and would stay there again.

2 amazing food options. 1 fine dining and 1 more casual. Both with great food. Breakfast included is a must and well worth it. Pool is nice with a good view. Rooms are very spacious with nice amenities but definitely take your own shampoo and conditioner. Staff were all fabulous and very attentive. Great location as its right on the beach and close to good tourist shops and medical centres. We would definitely stay here again based on our experience

Great location with great and friendly staff. Service was outstanding. Beachfront quiet and DJ on the weekend. They do need however to upgrade some of the facilities inside the rooms. They maintain everything immaculately clean but property is getting old and needing maintenance renovation. Other that this perfect.

The staffs were all great even their manager Sir Igor is so hands on with all their guests. We also loved the breakfast as it was freshly cooked always. Maybe some of the parts of the hotel needs some renovations but the room and common areas are still in good condition!

I stayed here for my 40th birthday and all I can say is Amazing... from the front desk to the dinning servers at the moonlight restaurant, the server at the pool greeted us daily. this hotel is literally on the beach with a great view. I loved my room especially the outside hot tub. I recommend this hotel 20 times. We need the week with a sunset lobster dinner and entertaiment. i cant wait to go back.

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful resort. We stayed in the oceanfront suite, which was stunning. The staff were also very attentive and friendly. We mostly ate at all the hotel restaurants as the food was so good! Thank you Grand Seminyak for ensuring our holiday was a memorable one.

The beach view from the room was great with the jacuzzi on the balcony. The rooms were spacious with a walk-in wardrobe and a huge bathroom and toilet area. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was great too.

The minute I checked in I had such a good vibe about the hotel. The staff was impeccable.. The ocean suite was amazing with great ocean views. Right by the beach makes this hotel even better. The two restaurants in property serve extremely delicious food. I am definitely coming back for my stay here for the second time next year

Beadroom; Bed is very, very comfy. Cleaning staff has a good attention to detail and we loved the turn out of the rooms for day time, and evening with a daily night treat beside the bed. Also a fruit tower on the start of your stay, with local fruits. Daily refilled water bottles. All staff is very friendly making you feel welcomed. F & B staff in particular, they remember your name, um your orders, and come to ask you if you need this or that on the perfect time. Jowana, was our highlight of the stay. Things we would suggest; More day beds on the pool and garden area. Maybe some hammocks on the garden area, would be very much used. Gym would be great with an update. Live band should be every night.:-) Music on the pool area, should be a bit louder. Over all, a very pleasant stay, would definitely come back or suggest to others.

Poor service, terrible breakfast, ants in the bathroom of the first room they gave us. Old, run down place. Crowded public beach. Absolutely not what we expected from an Anantara.

It is not a brand new hotel, but maybe because of that, the rooms are big! Lot’s of space! I think the shower would fit at least 5 people together easily. I stayed in an ocean view suit that was beautiful. The hotel is beach front. So, you are in the swimming pool or laying in one of the sun beds and you see the ocean. They also have a roof top restaurant with amazing sunset views. It’s very well located, walking distance to many dinning options and shopping. It’s a safe and beautiful area in Seminyak. The staff is outstanding! They did a great job during my stay, from the impeccable room service (twice a day), in the restaurants, breakfast, and swimming pool as well. Kudos to the whole staff and in special to Dewa Ayu, Swita and Gusti!

Didn’t like loud music while trying to enjoy dinner on roof top. Any educated DJ would read the audience!!!!!!!!!! If they are mainly 20—30 year old play the loud head banging thump, thump,!!! But so so unsophisticated to be subjected to that whilst dining and watching the sun set. Dinners with real money to spend want softer dinner music 6—8.30!!!!!

Anantara Seminyak was great for our first stop in Bali for our Honeymoon! Staff were helpful and friendly from pickup at the airport throughout our entire stay. They had a honeymoon package set up in our room for us with flowers, fruit and dessert. The food options at the hotel were excellent and we loved trying the Indonesian food and felt safe eating it compared to street food. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, clubs - Ku De Ta and Potato Head, and Seminyak village. Special thanks to Suwiti, Chintya, Ayu, and Gosain for making our stay fantastic!

Staff are fabulous, welcoming attentive & helpul. Sadly, the once fabulous hotel is desperately in need of a major refurbishment. Broken tiles in/around pool, faded/ broken furniture and floors and tiles in room, bathroom & common areas all need refinishing & repairing

Very nice hotel located on Seminyak beach. The staff were incredible and very friendly. There was some construction going on at the hotel so was noisy at times. Many restaurants nearby to choose from.

Staff were great. Facilities good. Unfortunately, construction work on adjoining property affected the peacefulness.

The staff are really friendly, polite & super helpful. The housekeeping came and cleaned my room twice a day, they were so thorough and even folded my clothes. They stacked all my cosmetics and lotions neatly on the counters. Every single staff member always made sure to greet me as I was coming or going. The service is definitely impeccable. The hotel itself is definitely showing some wear and tear. I had the ocean view suite with the outdoor tub on the balcony but it didn't look too great. The suite itself was huge, it had a makeup table/closet area, bathtub & shower, large living area and the balcony had a huge tub and a lounging spot. The breakfast is pretty standard. They do have a selection of fruits and beverages which is nice. The location is awesome if you're a beach bum and love the sound of ocean waves. The sunset views from the hotel are amazing!! There are plenty of convienent stores, restaurants and shops just down the street.

Avoid at all costs

This is a very old property and you feel it as soon as you enter the hotel. I was very disappointed that this is meant to be an Anantara, it doesnt match other properties from the same brand. The people are lovely but clueless about service standards unfortunately

Falsely advertised as a 5 star hotel, this is clearly not. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming but the place itself is in a state of disrepair in many areas, as highlighted by previous reviews. Our oceanview room was nice enough although a bit rough round the edges and having no towl rails or anywhere to hang wet towels in the bathroom is a fundamental design flaw. The food was also poor, although we had breakfast included ended up going out any paying for it elsewhere. Would have been ok if this had been advertised as a 3 star hotel but feel a bit ripped off having paid 5 star price.

Everything was great despite the property being quite old. You can see and feel the age of the place but it is wonderful nevertheless. HOWEVER, I booked the ocean room which came with 2 bathtubs but the water heater can only provide enough water for less than half a tub. Waited for over an hour and approached the staff but they mentioned that there is nothing they can do and all you have to do is to wait 40 minutes for barely warm water. Quite ridiculous having 2 tubs when you cannot even use them. Fully understand that this is an issue with the management and not the staff. Staff were welcoming and polite but the lack of warm water really ruined the experience. Imagine being wet and cold, waiting for the warm water for over 1.5h in total in a 5 star hotel. Haha, fun times.

This place is a scam. It's advertised as a 5-star hotel with beautiful pictures, but in reality it's worse than any 2-star motel. It's so dirty that it's disgusting to even be there or touch anything, trash is everywhere. I booked a non-smoking ocean view room, however there was no ocean view at all and it had a disgusting odor from smoking in the room. I also found cigarette packaging on the floor, which means they don't even clean rooms. The bed sheets had yellow spots all over. It's filthy and disgusting. I went to the gym, however it was so dirty that it was impossible to even touch any equipment and the AC was broken, so it's like a sauna in the gym. The room was so dirty and so old, missing basic things such as hand soap, toilet doesn't flush, the bath tab is all cracked. The lobby was under construction and they were drilling all night until I had to call and ask to stop drilling in the middle of the night. I talked to the manager about these horrors and he informed me that after covid they have no funding to renovate. I stayed for 1 night and left that horrible, filthy place. Do not ruin your vacation with this scam. It's unfair and illegal to list false advertisements. This place is a fraud.

Falling short of 5 stars by a long way

The hotel is very run down and there are visible signs of neglect and wear throughout. Some of the lower floor rooms have a distinctive sewage smell coming from them. A drastic renovation programme is required of all the common areas, lifts and stairwells. The reception area is uninviting and unwelcoming. The beach location is good but it is not a private beach and does get busy with public visitors.

Terrible customer service, terrible management, terrible room conditions. Would not clean rooms daily and would not refund for a night we didnt stay.

Please improve the hardware

The service and room are good, but the hardware is a bit old, like the A/C in room was not cold enough, after hotel send a handy man to come, it coming with water leakage in our walk in crossest!

This hotel not to 5 star standard

Our family stay was not so good as our room was not ready as agreed upon earlier through emaill. The service was not in par with a 5 star hotel. Make sure you agree on the price and currency of the excursion fares beforehand. The hotel will take you to the most expensive touristic markets which you can find for half price on your own. Be aware that its very touristy and they will try to rip you off. I do not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Beautiful location on beach and close to town. Pool is smaller than it looks in pictures but wasnt crowded. Also 2nd pool interior of peoperty that is quiet without beach views. Service was very friendly and curtious in all aspects from check in, restaurant and spa. Loved the balcony with jacuzzi for watching sunset.

The hotel is very tired and falling apart. For the price point of this hotel I was very disappointed. If the price of the room and services had reflected the state in which the hotel is in, I would have been able to except it. My wife and I booked a high end hotel for the last two nights of our honeymoon and it felt like a 3 star

Suites need a makeover as it looks aged. Hot water was only available till certain hours during night time.

The staff were amazing and more than helpful. The property however is in need of refurbishment. We also tried the spa - seriously overpriced and very average treatment. Certainly nothing special for $400 aus. When we went next door and had a better massage and scrub for $44. The staff made our stay nice.

This hotel can’t be rated 5 star. The price was attractive as 5 stars in Bali, but when we arrived at the hotel, I knew why it was reduced because it is not worth it at all. The staff are lousy, and the service is so bad. It takes at least 45 min to receive your orders. The staff make all efforts not to let you enjoy your vacation. Hotel’s facilities are worn. The elevator is old and horrible. The gym has broken AC. The yoga mat is dirty and smelly. The bed mattress is so cheap. The lobby is almost deserted and concierge doesn’t support any of your requests. Doorbell guys don’t help when you arrive, nor call a taxi for you when go out. We complained to the manager who gave us a useless apology, and offered me one drink !!! This hotel is a scam ( don’t be fooled by the chain name. This location is horrible). My advice for any traveler is Stay away of this hotel in Bali. I can’t understand how Anantara allows those guys to ruin its reputation. Myself, I am not gonna try this chain any where else. I am not gonna travel miles and spend money to end up with careless management and fake rating.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The staff were super nice and accommodating. The room was beautiful! Short walk to beach bars and restaurants. The food was great! We would definitely stay again. Due to high tourism, beach front location, and higher quality resort prices are higher for food and spa than other places in bali. However, this is a wonderful property! We had a great time!

Great location, beautiful staff! Our room wasn't ready for 10mins so the staff from the spa gave us a neck & shoulder massage while we waited! They also booked a shower room at the spa for us to shower & change after we checked out as we had a late night flight!
