Comfortable and pleasant stay. Convenient location and accessible to transportation. Helpful staff, clean rooms and good amenities. Enjoyed our visits to The Lounge. Have stayed with other Crowne Plaza properties before with similar positive experiences.

Great Service! Staff are very attentive and polite.

Out of many areas where we went in Japan, Akita was the most unsafe with skateboarders (who were out to pick fights/steal with a dozen or so others) after dark. I was not expecting that. Once we stopped going out at night, everything was fine in terms of safety. They seem to target tourists, where there were plenty. On a side note, the front desk suggested a few places to eat, and the first place we went they gouged us on food we didn't order and it was super salty and not recommended. Another reason not to go out after dark there. The bathroom was tiny, the room was ok. I would not have ordered the additional breakfast as part of the package since we had gotten the room with lounge access and that already included basic breakfast which was good enough for us. The location was good, close to the bus and train (shinkansen) station.

ANA Crown Plaza disappointing

What’s good: location is good, 3 blocks from Akita Station; right next to Seibu store, breakfast buffet was great, bed is most comfortable out of 3 hotels I used. What’s poor: no vending machine for drinks, no complimentary bottled water unless you’re an IHG member, shower curtain does not span the tub so shower splashes all over the floor; I had an accessible room with grab bars everywhere which was nice but why is there a big 6” step UP from the room level to the bathroom??

Hotel was very accommodative of our request for an extra rollaway bed and the room was very large. The only thing to note is that there is no parking onsite and the laundry charges are charged per piece (as opposed to a simple coin laundry). The hotel is very near to food and shopping options and is essentially in the heart of the city. Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely book again if given the chance.

Must stay!

My family only stayed one night on our way up to Odate, but the hotel was amazing. Room was spacious, hotel staff was very friendly, and everything was very clean. We plan on staying longer on our next trip in the area.

Newly refurbished room with luxurious feeling

Japanese customer service was amazing. Friendly and informative check-in. Gave us heads up and apologetic that parts of the hotel refurbishment might cause some noise disturbance between 8-11am. Our room was new and plush, clean with unexpected amenities such as a bathroom weighing scale. The overall environment was quiet and calm despite refurbishing work near the lobby area. Throughly enjoyed our stay!

This property is very tired. The outside at the front as you pull up is covered in rust and looks like your pulling into a parking garage. The rooms is nice and clean. The bed was very hard. The in room onsen was lovely. The thing that was terrible was the restaurant. Only one open and a buffet. At check in we were told open till 10. So booked in for 8 when we got there most of it was packed up but assured we could order. Possibly the most disappointing food experience in Japan.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but the maintenance is a bit suspect. The breakfast was very good. There is no parking at the hotel, although the city parking lot is very near. The hotel does not validate parking, so that is an extra cost.

The location was great. The room decor was kinda outdated. The amenities and space of the room was good.

Family weekend

We visited Akita for the weekend, 2 adults and 4 children. The location is perfect, parking was available, and the Japanese breakfast delicious. We stayed in a triple room and fit comfortably, unfortunately we had to book two triple rooms, otherwise this hotel wasn’t an option when searching for only 5 guests. The rooms were not adjacent, but several rooms apart, therefore we only used one as our kids are minors.

The hotel is located at the station and is very easy to find. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The room was rather large for a Japanese room and the bathtub was nice and deep. Overall I would stay here again

Super convenient hotel within an easy walking distance from Akita Station. The hotel is a grand old hotel that needs a bit of love. The beds are VERY firm and I was a little worried, but I had a surprisingly good night's sleep. My favorite part was the buffet breakfast. The Western offerings are not impressive, but the skin-on salmon, mackerel and other Japanese offerings were really lovely. If you're craving vegetables after too much ramen and travel food, you're in for a treat with all of the possibilities in the buffet, especially the hotpot veggie station. Coffee in Japan, as in most other places, are simply not as strong as American coffee. All I can say is that it's free.

Very nice since I was check-in earlier around 2 hours that day, but the weather is snowy and rainy (Quite mess). The staff is very friendly to offer the early check-in without charge. Very thankful.

服務員態度和藹有禮，主動幫忙，環境舒適，周邊食肆林立，十分近地鐵站，可惜只入住一天，有機會一定會再來， 十分推薦。

夏の時期だったのでビアガーデンのお客さんもいたためか少し落ち着かないなとも感じたがそれ以外は気持ちよく過ごせました。

部屋は広くてゆったりしています。朝ごはん、昼ご飯は満足しました。会員になるとアーリーチェックインでき、非常に助かりました。防音はいまひとつです。廊下で話している声、隣の部屋からの音が聞こえます。びっくりしたのはアメニティが豪華なことです。また、秋田市に泊まる機会があれば、選ぶと思います。

アプリからの申し込みでしたので、チェックインが、大変簡単に終わり、ありがたかったです。 部屋は、夫婦でツインの部屋を使用しましたが、至って普通でした。一人約1万円でしたが、もう少し安いとありがたいなあ、と思いました。

また行きたいと思いました。

房間舒適空間也不小，早餐也還不錯！另外與西武百貨共構，附近也很多步行可達的商場，購物也非常方便！

超出預期的住宿體驗

1、從秋田車站走到旅館，－路上都有雨棚，有電扶梯行李上下很方便，5分鐘之內可到。 2、服務人員很親切友善，房間雖然不大但是很敞亮，內裝很新。 3、1 F有聯通道直接到隔壁的西武百貨，很方便，可以一覧秋田的特產。

ホテルとしての完成度はとても高いと思います。個人的にサービスの入浴剤はすごく気に入りました。リラックスできるほのかな香りです。

ホテルも部屋もスタッフの応対も特に問題ありませんでしたが、朝食券が渡されなかったことと（他の宿泊者は渡されていましたので、朝食込みの料金でしたが、朝食券が不要であればその説明を頂ければよかったと思います）先程気付きましたが、領収書の会社名が間違っていましたので、少々残念に思いました。

家族で利用しました。広い部屋で大変助かりました。また秋田に伺った際には利用いたします。 ありがとうございました。

Great stay

The hotel is excellent. I stayed for 3 days. The place is clean and the view from the room is good. The bathroom is also great that it has a large bathtub. Will stay here again when I go to Akita again.
