Everything about this resort was phenomenal! We stayed in one of the villas on the lagoon and the room was incredible. Not only was it very modern looking, but very clean and very spacious. The back deck over the water had lots of room for lounging and the pool looked over the reefs where we could see fish, small sharks, and had a beautiful view of the lagoon. The service was impeccable...from room maintenance, food delivery, restaurant service, and generally anything we needed or wanted, all was happily addressed immediately. Definitely 5-star! The island was also impeccably maintained and was absolutely the most gorgeous place I have ever been to. The food was amazing, very fresh and creative, and we loved their focus on wellness. The staff was super friendly and social, and we got to know the executive sous chef, the general manager and especially our guide "Buddy" who was the most perfect "host," at our beck and call at any hour. What we also loved about this island was the privacy and peacefulness...just enough people to make it feel social but generally we felt like we almost had the place to ourselves. There are lots of activities if you choose and the snorkeling is phenomenal..reef sharks, beautiful fish and turtles. The cuisine of the island is very well-balanced with a lean toward Indian, but the fresh fish/sushi was incomparable. Amazing vacation, we can't wait to go back!
We spent 10 days and we stayed at the Reef Villas with 2 kids. Very spacious, It felt like we had separate rooms. The property is very clean. It looks like it has been refurbished. Food is excellent. We were on the all inclusive package and it was a lot of food. The restaurants were in par with some of the top in Europe; we are quite selective with the food. Activities such as diving, fishing and sand bank island were very nice and kids enjoyed them. Finally, this resort is more expensive than comparable resorts in the area but well worth it. Greats thanks to our butler Serwar, and Victoria and Jason (manager) who were always around to make sure everybody was having a good time.
It was our best family holiday to date!
We took our two kids here aged five and nine and it was the perfect family holiday. The eco-credentials and sustainability were key to us in considering where to stay, as was the quality and variety of food. The resort lived up to our expectations on both those fronts. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble and really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. Our Butler, Buddy, Did the most amazing job looking after us, and you really feel that the management team – Victoria and Jason – Care a lot about the guest experience and go above and beyond to ensure expectations exceeded. The snorkelling was technicolour brilliance in action and things like the giant chess set and scrabble and monopoly games meant we got some old-school games and relaxation time with the kids. It was our best family holiday to date!
So my wife and I wanted to have a honeymoon to remember for the rest of our lives, and Amilla did not disappoint. I looked and researched thoroughly to find the best resort that suited us for what we were looking for and as well as our budget, and we decided to make Amilla our honeymoon destination. First off, upon arrival to the island, we were welcomed very warmly by the managers as well as several worked as they awaited for us to dock. We were PCR tested immediately upon arrival in our rooms. We had put results within an hour and were then allowed free reign on the island as well as being able to remove our masks. The island and the resort is absolutely breathtaking. Everything was so clean and well kept. Nothing was dirty or out of place. Our room (sunset pool villa) was spotless and well put together. When we go back, I would book the same room. What stuck out to my wife and I the most, was the way the staff interacted with the guests. After the first day, the waiters and greeters knew us by first name basis. They would give us a warm welcome to each meal we went to, or in passing they would make small conversations to see how our stay was going and if there was anything we needed. By the 2nd day, they remembered exactly what drink we order and made sure our drinks were never empty. They were nothing but professional and polite and by the end of our time there, my wife and I had formed a bond with some of the staff. A few shout outs to the wait staff: Hass
AMAZING
Absolutely amazing experience and would highly recommend this resort to both families or couples totally unforgettable :)
Out of this world!!
Every staff at the resort was so friendly, welcoming and eager to help. We had one of our most enjoyable and amazing holidays at the Amilla last week :) Thanks Shaba for her warm and personal hospitality in the first 3 days of our stay where we had to stay in our room whilst waiting for the COVID results before we could go and enjoy the resort facilities. She was very responsive, willing to help and fun to chat with and it made all the difference to our first impression of the resort. Naape, who looked after us after we received our results (negative as expected thankfully!) he was very attentive and helpful and we really appreciated the fresh coconuts he sent to our villa everyday AND his buggy service to all of our excursions without us asking for it! Stefania, the in-house sommelier and connoisseur who knows everything about wine and dine (not just the expensive stuff but the rare finds that offer exceptional price to quality ratio!). She was so kind to show us some of her favourites during the private wine-tasting session and we enjoyed our pre-dinner drinks with her so very much! Jason & Victoria, the resort managers who always came up to check on guests to make sure they’re enjoying their stay. Last but not least, our superb dive master Ayya!!Not only he showed us to the best sites of Baa but he was also so professional and clear with his instructions. He also edited our dive videos which are amazing! So pleased with our experience and we’ll come back for more!!!
Our fourth island and hotel in Maldives. By far this is the best. Everything is simply perfect.
Wow factor
Fabulous week in an immaculate spacious beach house with our own pool. Absolute privacy. Amazing friendly staff who went out of their way to please. Loved the bicycles for getting round the island. Snorkeling was fantastic. Great selection of food and different dining options each night. The seaplane ride there and back just another highlight of a once and a lifetime holiday.
Heaven on Earth
Impeccable in all details, unless you strive for rustic accommodation
Nice Stay at Amilla
Very nice stay at the Amilla Fushi, the room is very nice with a great view, butler was very helpful, facilities are good, you can snorkel very close by the reef and see many fishes easily
Island home
It is a quiet and picturistique island. We didnt bump into other guests often (I guess partly due to off season) so it feels discrete and like being on your own. The sea view is breathtaking and the sandy beach is pretty. Jumping off the jetty to the snorkeling site to see the coral reef, fish and occasionally turtles. Once you are done you can swim to the hotel spa. Steam or sonar yourself while looking at the turquoise sea for ultimate refreshing experience. We also bike around the island as a relaxing and pleasant daily routine. The tennis court is in a tropical woods, which feels a bit surreal. As you can expect from the price tag the quality of the facilities and service are both top notch. One more thing, there are no mosquitoes on the island, at least during our stay.
Great stay
It was an excellent stay. Everything was really great. The room is tidy and the resort is really thoughtful in everything. The design is simple but comfortable. We wish to stay longer if we could.
Great place & great staff, love this place
The hotel were great, the staff were great.
空港でのお迎えが来ていなくて、少し待たされました。これはマイナス点です。 水上飛行機ラウンジは良いのですが床の汚れが少し気になりました。 他は良かったです。
Disappointed
Compare with the other resorts in Maldives, some of Amilla's staff are not so nice & friendly, especially our butler. To be honest Amilla's service was not that great, i didn't feel warm in this resort by our butler. The food need to improve, the Island with small beaches only. Nothing for people who would like to walk on the sand.

Glorious place and impeccable service
Stunning location, attentive staff who just avoid in going too far. Excellently maintained facilities and as a vegan, the range of choice of food was exceptional. Room was beautiful (though I caught my foot on an ill-maintained wood plank by my pool causing a large splinter). So much about our trip was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended
