Unique beachfront location in a quiet bay. The staff so friendly and helpful. Great food and happy hour. It is quite isolated so do need a car or driver to get around. We loved the isolation for a truly relaxing holiday.

Great location. Nice and peaceful however the menu could use some work. Also the spa is only open until 5p and the spa staff need better training. Overall the rooms were great very clean and nice staff.

Fabulous service from Manager/ Chef Mr Hambi & Sales Manager Ms Karen who rendered kind consideration & genuine helpfulness regarding my Expedia's stay cancellation due to Indonesia immigration limit of 30 days👍👍👍👍👍✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Chef instructed staff to prepare my favourite masala tea. Whereas Karen sought management's approval for accommodation refund & extended complimentary spa treatment. SOOOO... IMPRESSIVE!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Additionally, ALL service staff are so friendly & engaging 👏👏👏👏👏 Furthermore the ocean suite is very spacious & balcony overlooking the expansive shoreline & enchanting waves. Great resort, coupled with exemplary staff, makes a memorable holiday. Cheers! 🍻

Beach front Bliss!

Just absolute beachfront bliss! What an experience... such a stunning resort in a beautiful location with spectacular sunsets. Stayed in a sunset villa, and treated like royalty! Restaurant served amazing food and even better coffee! Spa treatment's rejuvenating, but be sure to book early! My sister and I xan not stop talking about our stay at Amber and are already planning our visit next year. Just be aware, the resort is a distance to closest towns +30 minutes. This is the perfect place to disconnect and breathe.

The property was beachfront and the beach was very nice and quiet. There were some minor maintenance issues with the room which can easily be addressed but take away from the overall experience.

Great design, great service

We loved our stay. The staff were amazing. Very, very obliging. The resort suited us so well. Incredible style, great food, comfortable and stunning little touches. I will def try to visit again. I felt like I was away somewhere really special and unique. Thanks for taking care of us so well

Well deserved 5 star rating!

This space was amazing! They clean their beaches which is worth the 5 stars all on its own but the food and service, from the housekeeping and reception to bar and restaurant staff everything was top notch. The view is also worth every penny.

The resort is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in beautiful Lombok. If you have children although family friendly the pool is strict with rules like no jumping, splashing or screaming. The restaurant has nice food although quite slow service.

Amber Lombok Beach Resort is the perfect place for a tranquil, eco-conscious vacation. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are thoughtfully designed to minimise waste. Food at the in-house restaurant is great and reasonably priced. Massage is good too. Enjoyed our stay and hope to be back someday :)

We made a reservation for a Junior Pool Suite, and it supposes to be a room with a private pool in our room. When we arrived there, the pool was shared with other 2 rooms. AT the description in Expedia, it didn't day. It was a shared pool. Extremely disappointed!!!

The best hotel with the best staff! Amazing massage and delicious food. Everything was so clean!

I really enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle at this hideout. The beachfront location was perfect and i really enjoyed the pool area and all the beanbags and day beds provided. Staff at the restaurant and spa were all incredibly friendly. The spa was great, and all the masseuse were very skilled and treatments were fairly priced. Food at the restaurant was great as well! However, the cleanliness and condition of the rooms can definitely be improved. I was attacked by at least a total of 40 mosquitoes on my first night (yes i counted and have loads of photos) at 3am and could not go back to sleep thereafter because they just kept swarming around on the bed and also in the bathroom. Housekeeping provided a bottle of bug spray and electric insecticides the next day and it worked but there were still some mozzies (numbers reduced) that would appear at night. I'm still scarred from the experience. Towels that were supposedly white are greyish looking, but smelled clean. Bed linen and pillowcases all have some stains and smelled like laundry that wasn't dried properly. The shower in the bathroom had weak pressure and no hot water at all. The toiletries were supposedly from Sensatia but the product in the bottles were substituted so its not the original. The location is very far off from the city so be prepared to travel at least an hour. As a whole, the place is lovely and I will revisit but there are definitely lots to improve on as mentioned above.

Avoid this place - infested with rats

When we arrived at the Amber Lombok for our two-week honeymoon, we could to believe how perfect it was, with a beautiful location, stunning villa and friendly staff. However, unfortunately that was all soon ruined by a rat infestation. All went well for the first week, but after being awoken twice in three nights by rats in our bedroom, we requested that we get moved to another room - where, unfortunately , this time we experienced rats stealing food from our kitchen in the middle of the day. As you can imagine, this ruined what should have been a blissful time by leaving us unable to sleep well, forced to rearrange plans to deal with moving rooms, and unable to bring ourselves to cook in the Villa kitchen or use the hotel restaurant again. Upon returning home and attempting to process a refund for the ruined days and nights of our trip, the hotel was nothing but difficult, refusing contact, ignoring emails, and failing to return calls. Poor customer service on top of a frankly totally unacceptable hygiene situation. Our honeymoon was ruined by staying at the Amber Lombok; don’t make the same mistake.

Great beach, fantastic vibe.

Did 8 days Lombok, round trip in a self-drive jeep including a stay at the foot of Rinjani, the volcano. This hotel probably was our favorite. Loved the beach-view room (make sure to get the g/f one which is not clearly indicated on the hotels.com site). Loved the restaurant, loved the food and the beach, ai ai the beach. Would have loved to come back for the last nite but it was not meant to be. Highly recommended.

If you like a quiet vacation away from the noise and smog of any city, this is the place. Great staff, great service, good food, and the rooms are just the perfect combination of comfort and practicality, will definitely visit again.

Relaxing stay at the beautiful Amber

I was recommended Amber Resort by a tour guide (Barry Putra)I had who is from Lombok. He definitely didn’t steer me wrong. I had an oceanfront room and everything about it was simply beautiful. To walk out your door and be on a completely untouched and populated beach is almost unheard of. The cool area is absolutely stunning and I could not take enough pictures of the amazing tree that overlooks the pool. I love the beanbags around the pool and also the floating bags…such a chill vibe The restaurant produced some of the best food I’ve had in Indonesia and the staff was constantly attentive and so friendly and helped me plan a full day trip with a driver and a boat (shoutout to Adi for service that was above and beyond). I also have a spa service and it was fantastic, and the service and friendliness was on par with the rest of the resort. This is a beautiful place to stay and better than undiscovered Jim that I suspect will explode in the next few years as people discover Lombok and all it has to offer. My one criticism of the resort is the towels there was no hand towels provided. There was face cloths left by the sink and they were absolutely dingy definitely in need of bleach which I respect is not environmentally friendly but it is not nice to use something that doesn’t look clean. Other than that the beds were very comfortable and the linens were beautiful and sparkling white!! I love the Amber resort and hope I get to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Loved our stay at Amber. If you're looking for a secluded, absolute beachfront resort where everything is taken care of, then this is a fantastic choice. The beach was one of the cleanest we'd seen on the whole south coast of Lombok. The food was delicious and there was enough variety to keep us interested for multiple meals across the three days. The spa was well-priced with superb treatments and excellent service. And the staff overall was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The only thing I would have done differently was to book our scooter rental ahead of time vs having to wait for one to be available.

Super zum Relaxen und Arbeiten

ein ruhiger Ort an schönem Strand ohne andere Hotels. Viele Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen und Geniessen. Tolles Restaurant, mega tolles Frühstück (à la Carte + Buffet frei kombinierbar), sehr freundliches Personal. spezieller Kaffee wie Cappucino usw. gabs gegen Aufpreis und dauerte recht lange, aber war dafür sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. die Portionen im Restaurant sind nicht sehr gross, aber das Essen ist lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und für unseren Zweck (Lernen und Arbeiten in entspannter Atmosphäre) war es perfekt. Rund um das Resort gibt es allerdings nicht viel zu tun oder entdecken. Das Meer war zum Baden (zu unserer Zeit zumindest) nicht so ideal, aber es hat auch oft heftig geregnet und viel Schlamm und Sand reingespült. Gut möglich, dass es ansonsten sehr schön ist. Ebbe und Flut spürt man deutlich, wann man schwimmen darf ist mit einer Fahne am Strand gekennzeichnet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder hierher zurück.

Alles war perfekt! Die Anlage, die Zimmer, das Essen, der spa, die Mitarbeiter alle so herzlich und freundlich!

Un emplacement de rêve, mais une grande déception par rapport à notre dernier séjour en 2022. La salle de bains qui sent les égouts, pas d endroit pour suspendre les vêtements,difficile d obtenir une serviette de bain pour la piscine, confiture chimique fluo au petit déjeuner (dommage avec tous ces fruits qui poussent là bas)...

Location bellissima hotel pecca di qualche servizio ma è perfettamente integrato e bello nel contesto in cui si trova. Lo consiglio per una vacanza easy a contatto con la natura

Rapport qualité prix correct

Séjour convenable pour le prix, le personnel est très prévenant et attentif. Bémol sur les chambres proches des cuisines (500+) qui sont sur deux niveaux, avec quelques nuisances d'odeurs et de bruits quand on est en dessous.

2nd time staying, great and beautiful chill part of the island. Amber is a great option and overall good. But to comment from my first stay 1 year back, I do say the overall standard feeling fell a bit. Example as, much used towels and need of upgrade these, rums can be overlooked and make some upgrade touches here and there.

Un petit coin de paradis sur Terre ! Les logements sont parfaits, la piscine magnifique, le personnel aux petits soins et tellement chaleureux, le tout à quelques pas d’une plage déserte, sûrement l’une des plus belles de l’île. L’établissement étant un peu isolé, il vaut mieux être conduit par les guides de l’hôtel pour découvrir l’île. Plusieurs excursions à des prix raisonnables sont proposées. (Une pensée particulière pour David notre guide et chauffeur pendant ce séjour, avec qui nous nous sommes sentis en famille !) Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour ces moments inoubliables !

Very remote place with nice facilities. Good food and drinks

Joli hôtel, bien situé. Le seul inconvénient de notre séjour est la situation de la chambre qui donnait à l’arrière sur une petite terrasse à côté d’un cours d’eau dégageant une mauvaise odeur, nous n’avons donc pas pu profiter de l’extérieur ni ouvrir la porte. Restaurant très bon

Besser geht's eigentlich nicht: Nur ein Hotel an diesem Traumstrand, saubere Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück, toller Service, faire Preise für Getränke & Essen. Vielen Dank an Nick, Muhal, Addi und alle anderen tollen Angestellten, die mit guter Laune und ausgezeichnetem Service 3 perfekte Tage für mich gezaubert haben. Greetz "Söör Alex"

Skønt hotel

Meget pænt og rent hotel. Super lækkert at det ligger lige ud til stranden. Personalet var vildt søde, vi ankom sent om aftenen og kunne alligevel spørge efter noget på whatsapp og de kom ned til værelset med det😄

Cook place - great location - lovely staff

Lovely stay in a great location. I love the place. Great rooms (had a Junior suite with pool access) vibrant beach front chill out area with best views. Best part is the people working there. Great team. I will come back

Nagelneues und wunderschönes Strandresort

Das Amber ist nagelneu und befindet sich in traumhafter Lage an einem riesigen Privatstrand. Zimmer und Service sind wundervoll, mit dem Roller hat man innerhalb von 20 Minuten Fahrzeit die riesige Auswahl an traumhaften Stränden. Wir können das Amber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

このホテルの最大の魅力は バリと違い 人の雑踏がなくホテル前のビーチは 貸切り状態で お土産を売りに来る人もいないので ゆっくりとリゾートを体感できます 私はこのロンボックに知人がいたので 毎日出掛けていましたが 時間をゆったりと過ごすなら エステの体験をお勧めします。 また 長期滞在でも自分でやる洗濯機などのランドリーもないので ホテルはへお願いするのが いいと思います Tシャツなど10点で 750円程度でした 朝出して 夕方には ベットルームに置いてありました。 私達は キングベッドルーム 1部屋、シングル2つ ツインルーム、各部屋 トイレとシャワー付き、他に リビングとキッチン、バルコニー前に プライベートプール その先に砂浜があり 超リゾート気分を味わえました。また 行きたいホテルです。

Sehr ruhige Umgebung, perfekt zum entspannen

Einsamer Strand, wunderschöne Anlage, sehr freundliches Personal, hilfsbereit, Kommunion läuft perfekt über what’s App. Sehr gute Küche!

Bel hôtel, beau restaurant, le personnel manque de formation. Difficile de se baigner car la mer est très puissante. Il faut aller sur une autre plage en voiture ,à 20 minutes. Tout les extras sont payant, meme le café dans la chambre, ou le cafė expresso au petit dejeuner

Magique

L’endroit est magnifique, la prestation qu’offre cet hôtel vaut le déplacement. La vue, la plage, la chambre et les plats proposés par le restaurant sont tout simplement parfaits. Je retournerais avec un immense plaisir dans ce splendide hôtel ! Merci pour ce joli séjour!
