Comfortable Stay In Pleasant Town

Clean, comfortable bed, good heater in January, lots of hot water with good pressure. 5 minute walk to the St John Park with an impressive castle, and 15 minutes to the shuttle to Ephesus Archeological site. Great fresh variety for breakfast. Safe quiet neighborhood and nice helpful host.

We stayed at this cozy lovely hotel for 3 nights. The property has around 150 years old history. The owner is very friendly and kind. He was very kind to drive us to the train station. Breakfast was good. And location is very central.

I loved my stay at Amazon Antique! This darling little guest house has clean rooms and great air conditioning, but you'll really love it for the beautiful courtyard and delicious breakfast you'll enjoy in it. The staff are wonderful and so helpful! I very much enjoyed the local food suggestions that I wouldn't have found otherwise. I loved the area, a short walk from the train station and close to St John's Basilica, because it was quiet and peaceful, with stunning views close by. Amazon Antique helped to make my stay in Ephesus a travel memory that I will cherish!

Lovely hotel, very clean, extremely friendly staff. Cute and relaxing garden, exactly as pictured. Within walking distance of basilica. Peaceful stay

Our host was very helpful and understood our need to cancel one night. This place is a sweet secret jewel. Neighboring establishment had music til Midnight but he is attempting to get this changed.

Such a charming and cozy place, and the hosts are very gracious! The property is perfectly located, making it easy to access main attractions and restaurants while remaining quiet and somewhat tucked away from major traffic areas. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place and friendly staff!

Wonderful host — attentive and kind. Lovely rustic courtyard. Attractive area of town. Comfortable room. Walking distance to Ephesus. (But better to take taxi to top entrance and bus back to Selcuk.)

Extremely friendly and were treated like family. They organized all transfers and tours.Breakfast was all locally made with most of the food made lovingly from their own beautiful garden. Thank you so much for your warm welcome and hospitality.

We loved staying at this hotel. It has a beautiful garden, the room was very clean and comfy. The area of the hotel is very quiet but it is close to cafes, restaurants and local shops. The host and staff were very kind from day one and breakfast was delicious each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazon Antique is a very cute guest house. The rooms are each named after gods. Our room was just right for two people. It was very clean. The courtyard was beautiful. The breakfast was great with many choices. The owner was very helpful in giving us directions to the travel agency to buy ferry tickets to Samos and to arrange transportation to Kusadasi. He also gave us directions to restaurants that were run by women who served homemade food. He called the taxi for us to get to Ephesus. Altogether an amazing host. On our last day as we were leaving early, before breakfast, he prepared breakfast to go that was so much we had it for breakfast and lunch.

Ephesus

Great location for access to the various sites. Funky, clean, and comfortable. Parking out front in a very safe area. Highly recommend.

the hotel was converted from a barn. They did an amazing job. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a lot of character. The breakfast was great. The owner and the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was located not far from Ephesus.

We found this property very charming and enjoyed our night stay. We were welcomed by the host and he was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was a little small but plenty cozy and the space was decorated very practically which helped the smaller space. The breakfast was really nice. Would recommend a stay here for sure.

Thoughtful touches & incredible hospitality!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Very thoughtful and breakfast was delicious. He was so nice and accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location, we will definitely stay here again!

Highly Recommend

We stayed here for one night while visiting Ephesus and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is basic but really clean and the owner was very friendly and informative. The location is lovely, in the old town just down from the castle. The breakfast was excellent, more than we expected for the price. I would highly recommend the Amazon Antique Hotel.

There was a beautiful rustic feel to the whole accommodation. Owner is really kind and nice gentleman. I almost lost something precious that belonged to him and he was very calm and forgiving about it, The place is basic but it has more character to it than any upscale hotels. Also location can’t be more perfect. Close to everything and not noisy or busy. Turkish breakfast was very delicious and healthy.

Our host Baris was amazing and helpful. He shared a book on Ephesus for our trip and it was very insightful with the history and explanation. Rooms were cosy, simple and clean. Breakfast has a good selection such as toast with homemade jams, menemen (eggs with tomato and peppers), olives, cheese, cereal, milk, juice. There was an adorable white cat who has 3 kittens. Red roses were blooming near the entrance as well and it smells lovely. Charming place to stay, would recommend!

It is a beautiful small hotel on a quiet street. We appreciated the staff keeping it running even during a low tourism season.

An amazing host made sure we made the most of our night in Ephes. Breakfast was much more varied than expected.

Very cute setting

The owner of the hotel is super nice and friendly. Before going to Ephesus he gave us a book in English to explain everything in the antique town. This saved us money from hiring a guide. We were happy with the accommodation

Nice internal garden.Situated in an old ,quiet part of Selcuk.The manager was very pleasant and helpful.Cold water was available from a water cooler so I could refill my water bottle reducing plastic bottle waste.Agreat idea that could be available in other hotels.The town centre and bus station are a short walk away.

Perfect location and lovely owners

I loved this property. Was so close to everything in Ephesus and the manager Barish was so lovely and helpful. He arranged for our clothes to be washed and dried and he helped us map out our tours. He gave good recommendations and advice based on what we wanted. The rooms are cute and very clean and Barish even made us breakfast early the next morning before we left. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a night stop after a day of site seeing.

Nice hotel close to the bus station.

The hotel is closed to the bus station and other tourist spots. It's only 5 minutes walk from the bus station but not easy to find it if you follow the google map so I recommend you to go there by taxi for your first time. I arrived there In the early morning and they kind enough to allow me for early check in. I stayed there for 1 night and staff there are really nice and helpful.

Great location.

The rating on hotels.com was outstanding which raised my expectations but I was most disappointed. The location is fantastic, some of the help are extremely helpful and the room was clean enough. Besides that, regretably, there's not much else that I can say.

The most helpful staff you'll ever meet.

After a bit of a trek from Selcuk train station, we were very surprised and pleased with the helpfulness of the staff. They bent over backwards to be accomodating - really impressed. The owner has just built a hotel down the road so asked if we wanted to stay there, it was amazing. Really comfortable room and amazing facilities and surroundings. They offer dinner for a small cost, which we would definitely recommend. The owner even drove us to the coach station to book tickets, on to Ephesus and then dropped us and our luggage back in the center later all free of charge. Really couldn't fault it - wish we'd stayed longer!

pleasant surprise

the hotel just opened a new building 50 yards up the same street, so I can speak only of the new building: modern and tastefully furnished rooms, excellent facilities. Small pool came was nice in the hot weather after a day long excursions. Excellent breakfast. Management was extremely friendly and helped us organize our travels next days convincing us that the train would be best low cost and comfortable option to Izmir with free transportation to train station at 6.30 am.

We recommend this hotel is quiet and cozy. for those who enjoy a familiar place. the owners are very friendly and warm. helped us a lot with transportation and information. great breakfast, great place!

Wonderful People

The owners here were wonderful. They could not have been more kind, helpful, or concerned about making our stay memorable. The rooms were charming and clean. The courtyard was a pleasant place for a cup of tea or glass of wine. The town was a convenient location for exploring the surrounding sites. My daughters and I spent a wonderful vacation here and would definitely return.

The two men who own and run the place are some of the most helpful, honest, and genuinely kind people I have met. The place itself is very quaint and relaxing, and it is conveniently located to both the heart of Selcuk and the ancient site of Ephesus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It felt more like you were staying at a friend's home than at a hotel.

Amazon Antiquie Hotel, Selcuk, Turkey

The hotel is located in a small, rustic community. The room, courtyard and breakfast room are neat and have a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfasts were varied, hearty and delicious. The proprietor was exceptional. He picked us up from downtown Selcuk (only minutes away from the hotel), gave us a ride to Ephesus, and took us to the train station for our return trip to the Izmir Airport. He also gave us valuable advice about locations in and around Selcuke. He also let us use his Internet to contact our relatives in the U.S.

You will be within walking distance to the ruins of Ephesus, and just below the ruins of St. John's Basilica - great location. Gayet güzel temiz ve konforluydu. Ayrıca odalarda klima bulunmasına rağmen biz pencereyi açıp öyle uyumayı tercih ettik ve iyi ki de o şekilde uyumuşuz. Hatta eşim sabaha karşı üşüyüp pencereyi kapatmış… 😊 buna rağmen gayet güvenilir bir işletme…

Guzel bir konaklama

Konaklamamiz guzeldi. Isletme sahibi guleryuzlu misafirperverdi. Evimizde gibi hissettik. Konfor acısından beklentimizi tam karsilamasa bile sonucta bes yildizli bir otel degil. Fiyatlari makul kahvaltisi guzeldi. Gitmek isteyenlere tavsiye edebilirim sessiz sakin guzel bir yer eski bir konak olmasi da benim icin guzel bir deneyim oldu. Teşekkür ederiz

Sicakkanli ve huzurlu

Kaldigim en sirin ve tatli otellerden birisiydi. Cok sicakkanli karsilama vardi ve otelin ici cok keyifli ve huzurluydu. Temiz ve lokasyon olarak cok guzel bir oteldi.

Ein antikes Anwesen umgebaut in ein Hotel. Ungewöhnlich aber echt sehr schön. Vor allem sehr sauber alles. Alles bestens, wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Ach ja, leckeres Frühstück!

The room has very basic things: no desk, no tissue paper box, no toothbrush. However, I felt the owner is really enjoying maintaining their long lasting properties and business.
