İt was my third time this hotel. Very friendly team, helpful and smiling employees, an experienced staff that has been working for a long time. The hotel's furniture and many facilities are very old but they are ok. Although I can't say that the common areas are spotless, the cleanliness of the rooms and furniture is ok. The breakfast was very successful and there were fresh organic products. I generally recommend this hotel

This is my second time. It has a good value for what they provide. I guess their chef changed as dinners were better last year. Setur marna area is great for people who does not like sand. I enjoyed the violin concert on the lawn. Very good breakfast.

Las habiraciones muy limpias y comodas reservamos vista al mar y fue espectacular hay 2 albercas termales 1 techada y 1 y ambas funcionaban y se disfrutaban muy bien tambien tienen 2 albercas normales 1 climatizada techada y la otra al aire libre hay yacuzi tambien el spa muy agradable. El unico inconveniente que me todo en toda mi estancia fue que el horario del desayuno es muy corto de 9:30 a 10:30 mi ultimo dia llegue 10:30 y ya habian recojido todas las charolas del buffet pero el personal muy atento y el jefe de piso del restaurante me mando un poco de pan a mi mesa

The hotel rooms need a facelift. My room aircon system wasnt working during my stay, am very disappointed. The hallway was cooler then my room. I had to have the windows open for the cool breeze at night. I was paying for 4 stars. Better off staying in a modern new accomidation nearby. The food was great and the plaj.

Great old queen of accommodations in this area. Good beaches and good service (except for the restaurant, which does not meet 5-star quality mainly because of the buffet style service and the lack of sufficiently trained and attentive servers). Service everywhere else is good and attentive. Rooms are clean and have great view but suffer from average quality furniture. It is the best value for money in that area but you should not expect more than 3 star dining experience.

Altin Yunus is a wonderful hotel with amazing and spectacular views at a great location with a very courteous and polite staff. Lots of delicious food choices during breakfast and dinner buffet. A very clean hotel, absolutely beautiful and tranquil. Thank you for the most wonderful and unique experience

Very nice resort, with spa, sport and private beach! Private area and short driving distance to Cesme and Alacati! Very nice staff!

This place is a childhood nostalgic favorite. Best beaches, great area wonderful scenery. However I am saddened to see the property keep decaying every year. So called Deluxe sea view rooms are falling apart. Beds are not comfortable. Morning breakfast selections are fantastic but most if not all are supposedly hot/warm items are all cold. Most disturbing was the presence of street dogs lounging around during the day at the hotel entrance and literally attacking people at night on the most beautiful terrace overlooking the marina. I had guests that were scared to death of these street dogs that were very aggressive. Not a good image at all for a hotel like Altin Yunus

My wife and I love Altin Yunus; we have been staying there almost every summer since 1976. Beach facilities, pools, spa, the incredible views, and the open buffet are fantastic. There are some areas that need improvement though; wi-fi/internet is extremely slow; there are cats in the dining area.

The hotel has great facilities and very friendly staff but it has management problems. It is over priced for what it offers at certain times and its in-house prices for alcohol are outrageous. It's a beautiful place and the food is good but it needs a shake up in management. Also, staff need to be trained.

Built in 1972, finished 1974, this hotel is not a 5 star. Rooms are showing signs of age. Attention to detail is missing where repairs and general maintenance are concerned. Room staff work hard, but are just helped by the general condition of room. First room given refused due to above, other rooms shown all had unnecessary signs of lack of maintenance and general age, especially fixtures, fittings and furniture. I would rate the hotel a 3 star, with the food service and availability to back that up. Don’t expect hot food.

I thought it was a beautiful property. The food is decent. There are no other restaurants in walking distance. You need to take a taxi to go anywhere else that you want to see. The beach is a 5 minute walk, but you can sometimes catch a golf cart. The staff tells you one thing once and another thing later. I got into a few heated discussions about that. They claim that they do not know who Orbitz is and any messages that appear to come from them through Orbitz do not come from them. So, in other words, Orbitz is making up conversations on the hotel's behalf. I was more than annoyed about that insinuation.

I had a very nice stay. covid -19 measures were excellent. The cleanliness, quality of the rooms, the taste and variety of breakfast and meals made me very happy. thank you everyone. It is a hotel I recommend.

The beach is too far from the hotel. I booked it for my mum and aunt, they couldn't walk to get to the beach. After I complained that it was not clear in their communication that the beach was that far, the staff kindly drove my mum and aunt to the back and back. That was very nice of them. They enjoyed the service and food but thought that the hotel was a bit dated.

Classic old school hotel. Perfect that it is right on the beach & harbor. Rooms are a little dated & walls are thin. But service was great, and their attention to Covid-19 details exceeded our expectations.

For some relaxing days

A good choice if you like relaxing in hot thermal baths. Especially the outdoor thermal pool is to go for. The hamam is nice hot and not crowdy at all. The saunas is a must and the treatments are good and not to expensive

Enjoyable Stay

Thoroughly enjoyable experience at this resort. As an English speaker, there were some communication challenges, but nothing significant, and there was usually somebody around that could help with communication issues. In particular the spa and food were excellent.

Place is old door was broken it is not sea front I do not like this place .. But I will advise you to stay at the Radisson Blu same location.

The location is excellent, the service is good, the food is excellent and varied, the beach is big and beautiful but needs to clean the beach, the furniture is good but needs to change the bed is uncomfortable, no kettle in the room and overall the hotel is beautiful and I will go back again

The place is at a great location. Breakfast and dinner are great. However, our room was dirty and washroom was not properly cleaned by the staff. We told the staff to clean it and they said they will send someone right away which didn’t happen until the next day. Hotel needs to do a better job on this. In overall I think this hotel was good and affordable.

Good hotel

The hotel was decent, good air conditioning and bed was big and comfy. There is some good pools and thermal pools, plus has a location on beach. Very relaxing and great place to put feet up and enjoy the sun. The food around the beach and smaller bars was good too. The main buffet food was pretty basic but OK.... My boyf thought it was good for £13 (I’m abit more fussy). No one really spoke any English so it was quite difficult to have a conversation with anyone. The local town of Alacati was the highlight for me, lots of Greek influence so white cobbled streets and meditterian feel. Very upmarket!

Nasty bathroom and cleaning crew

The room was nasty. Specially bathroom. We had two rooms booked and they were not cleaned properly. There was hair everywhere and pee stains on the toilet. We asked them to clean and left the room. When we came back still was same. So we called again and this time stayed in the room. It was no where a 5 star hotel. More like a 2 star hotel.

Good thermal hotel

Nice thermal hotel! Very good value for the money. There Are 2 very hot thermal pools. It would even be better if one of them was cooled about 3 degrees, so to enjoy longer. Only con is the pools were a bit crowded.

One can tell that this was a great resort back in the day, but the tooth of the time has taken its toll. Everything is there: the location is great, very good spa, nice beaches, marina, wonderful diverse breakfast, staff is not great but ok. Building needs thorough restoration, interior needs refurbismhent, new materials, installations, etc. Wifi was very weak in the room, you must sit in the bathroom to get a decent signal, A/C didn't work. But generally this is a nice hotel and you get good value for the price. Pros: spa, VERY diverse breakfast Cons: a lot needs to be renovated

Suits package tourists more than locals or solos

Beautiful location on the marina. Wifi sucked, I usually had to go to the lobby to get a signal and even then it was dodgy. Spa was really nice, great Turkish bath and massage. Breakfast buffet was excellent, huge variety. Too many package tourists so not my preferred atmosphere. Staff were very nice, eager to please.

It looked better in the photos. The food was average, the hotel was old with lots of unused, eerie spaces. Would not go back.

No good experience

Staying in Altin Yunus was not a good experience once there were so many mislead information about restaurants and water sports. They need to update their brochure they give to quest.Also customer service was not helpful for any request we had.

Great room, great buffets. Difficult to navigate the hotel. Room was not ready at standard check-in time despite request for early check-in. One elevator area despite the large sprawling property.

Starting with the checking, …. long line and one guy at the front desk Free parking, YES but NO parking space available :-(( The rooms are not well cleaned and a bad smell came out of my pillows. Five star hotel, might be in the past. Now not more than 3 star hotel.

We booked all inclusive holiday on Expedia page " we marked all inclusive "when we print all our decumants it stated breakfast only than we rang Expedia to talk to staff to correct this they told us when you arrive the Turkey your hotel talk them they will correct over there, on our arrival we spoke to hotel management explaining what happened they did not take any responsibility they said this is Expedia to sorted out noting to do with us.!! It was very disappointing we had to spend over our badget for evening meal, we did not know where to eat , random restaurant we went we're awful .!!! I will newer book my or friends future holiday via Expedia Ayfer Shuttler

The hotel rooms lacked so many things : - dirty rooms - toilet was not renovated for so long - no water boiler and no complementary tea and coffee - fitness center has no air conditioning and opens at 8 am which is late

The staff was very attentive to our requests. The food was excellent for the most part (disappointed in the hard "simit" and overcooked fish at the open buffet). The beds were way too hard and the furniture needed updating, but it was a very clean, safe, generally quiet hotel with a nice beach and many facilities...

Great location, beach, mineral water etc. BUT...

This facility is really run down. It looks as they have done minimum veneration and update since its inception in the 70's. This is by no means a 5 star hotel. This could be a million SSS location if they fix it up. All in all not a bad value for what we paid.

Easy parking, very large several Coffee Teressa, nice Marina walk and offers nice beach. Their Kitchen offers excellent food.

There is no private beach. The hotel staff is unfriendly. They have interns working at the place that are very inexperienced. Hotel facility is old. It's not worth the money they are asking for.

Very Unhappy Stay

Do not stay at this hotel ever:) The common areas are very dirty, the hotel food is very bad, in fact my daughter and I got very sick during our stay. They are vey understaff, do not have enough cleaning person. The food price is very expensive(if you book half board). The hotel nurse and hotel management is working with private doctors (not hospital doctors) to get as much as money as they can from you. Think 3 times before you book this hotel, not worth at all!!!!

The Hell from Cesme

The hotel is not 5 star hotel! We booked two rooms. Both rooms were dirty. Everywhere there was dust and mold. Everything seemed very cheap in the rooms. We have booked all inclusive. The food was normal and there was always the same. The pools were closed several times for hotel guests, as there were various events. It is a family hotel and there are hundreds of screaming kids. Five days were hell for us at this hotel.

Waste of money

100% not a 5 star hotel. More like a 4 star. Check in was meant to be at 2pm, we did not have a room until 5pm. The staff did not make up for this in any way for our loss of 3hrs. The service was poor & some staff are rude. There is only wifi in the lobby, no wifi in the rooms. This is very inconvenient. Only animations for the kids, no entertainment for adults or even children over 15. Overall it was really dissapointing to travel to turkey only to stay here.

Great Beach but used hotel (maybe great during its time)

Ok, So let me be honest. There are good and bad during this 5 day stay and I will try and capture both. The bad first... 1) Upon arriving the hotel put us in a garden view horrible smelling room. The person in the room before hand must have been smoking the entire week and then left it as so. My allergies to smoke instantly kicked in and we asked to be moved to a different room. The hotel refused to do so the first night and we were stuck with the situation at hand. Thankfully the second of our 5 day stay we were moved to a better room after constant complaining and time spent at the front desk. 2) Our room had breakfast and dinner included. To give the food a star quality we are looking at 2 (at the best). It was bland and no taste, I suggest sticking with the salad bar if you go. They have quite a selection but it lacks anything worth going around a second time for. 3) The room is old, yes maybe it was remodeled but it was used - you could tell. 4) The orbitz system lost our reservation for a family member and due to this we spent 3-4 hours from working with a grumpy orbitz agent to a disrespectful hotel manager trying to get it fixed. It took 2-3 days of worrying about getting a room before anything happened. 5) The spa A) Nice and cheap to get in. Worth while if you want to relax B) That is if you can get past the jerks that work there. Anything we asked for was met with a No we cannot do that. Ex. We wanted to fountain on in the thermal pool, No! No! No! 6) Overall hotel staff were terrible and rude almost, only the waiters were kind at the cafeteria. That is if you can find one to support your needs. They are super busy but nice. 7) Some of the clientele- ughhhh to say the least, and with devil spawn that ran around screaming. Good 1)The beach. The beach was easily the best part of the hotel. Its fantastic....Worth the stay We spend a majority of our time at the beach, and if you can manage to wake in the am at a decent hour its like swimming is a chilly pool with white sands and fish. 2)View from seaside rooms. This is worth the 20 extra lira especially during sunset...You will never forget the colors and beauty. 3) Good area. Convenient to the main areas and taxis are abundant if you dont have a rental car 4) Price on Orbitz. Amazing...especially with breakfast and dinner included with free beach access.

Overpriced

A pleasant enough hotel, with no obvious failings, except that it falls far short of its 5 star rating. Staff were friendly enough, but service felt indifferent, small rooms, not even a proper mounted shower (just a hand-held) and massively overpriced (£3 for a small coke). The place reminded me a bit of package holidays in the 1970s (when indeed it opened) and is not great value for money, especially when you compare it to what you get in south east Asia (and even parts of Europe). Maybe if it had cost half the price (apparently you're not allowed to give an actual rate for this trip, which rather undermines the review), I’d be a lot more positive.

Excellent Family Vacation.

The only problem was the absence of an elevator to Marina level from the lobby,where the most activities, restaurants,a coffe house,icecream parlor and the shopping arcade were located. This was very handicapped unfriendly. If you are in perfect health thats the place for you.

Expensive crappy hotel

The Altin Yunis looked great on the web but then we got there and it was such a different picture. We checked in and were giving NO details about the hotel (especially since we arrived in the early afternoon the pool was closed all day for a "celebration). The beach is NOT private (or if it is, it is not enforced) and was very very loud with tons of kids running around. There are gates everywhere that are locked (between the pool and the paths, the indoor pool and the outdoor pools, etc) and makes it a REALLY REALLY long walk between everywhere. The buffett is a zoo--we didn't do the all inclusive so the prices for the food/drinks are outrageous. When we got there, our room had no electricity and it took two hours to get anyone up there and our beds were two twins--FIVE hours to get housekeeping to join the room! Overall, the scene is beautiful but I wouldn't spend your money on this place.

5 star hotel with 3 star quality

Altin Yunus is trying to sell it self as a 5 star hotel but in fact it is not more than a 3 star hotel. The reception staff is firendly and tries to help but unfortunately the competence level is very low. It says that the rooms have wireless internet access, no access in our room. There is no air condition as mentioned on the site, we had to open the window to get an acceptable room temperature. The room was not properly cleaned, f.ex. floor not vacuum cleaned, dirty glasses not replaced. When we stayed at the hotel only 3 restaurants were open, including the bar, 1 only had buffet and the other restaurants (captains and bar) had the same menu (same as room service). The waiters did not wanna wait on us, even when we were sitting alone in the Captains bar it took over 15 minutes until we could order our food. Food quality, restaurants and breakfast, was ok not more and not even close to what I expect from a 5 star hotel.

Excellent Value, Lovely Hotel, Terrible Food

We got a spacious, comfortable ocean front room with balcony thru Expedia at a special promotional rate. At that rate, this hotel is a fantastic buy. Expecting a 3 star hotel, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a 4 star hotel that had 5 or more swimming pools, one a salt water pool, two with mineral water, etc. for the use of its guests. Wifi was free and the signal strong. Plenty of free parking. The hotel itself occupied a long photogenic cove with marinas. It had several restaurants and breakfast was buffet style. The food was positively terrible, the worst we had in all of Turkey, that goes for both breakfast and dinner. We also had difficulty finding the hotel as we did not speak Turkish; it was near the Radisson, which is well signposted. Once we found the hotel, we were delighted. It was about 10 minutes by car from the castle area which is where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. I'd be very happy to return to this hotel if we find ourself in Cesme again. Cesme itself is a pretty small town surrounded by water and a straight shoot off the toll road. We much preferred it to Foca, a small fishing village which was hard to get to.

Altın Yunus eski güzel bir otel; ancak kesinlikle yatırım yapılması ve revizyondan geçmesi gerekiyor. Otele girdiğimizde çalışmayan dolap kapısı bir saat uğraşılıp tamir edilemedi, sabah yapacağız dendi bir daha da ne gelen ne de giden oldu; biz de oteli değiştirdik! Sevdiğimiz bir yer ama hakkını veren bir organizasyon yok, çok daha iyi olabilir. Bu arada yönetim için saunadaki ortaya çıkmış çivilerin acilen düzeltilmesi gerekiyor diye hatırlatmak isterim.

Bazı bölümler daha temiz bakımlı olmalı,restoran bölümümde servis yapan arkadaşlar cana yakınlar,odalar geniş ,genel anlamda rahat sakin manzarası güzel bir otel.

Sadece adı var, vasat bir işletme.

Otel çok eski, yataklar konforsuz. Termal otel olduğundan en çok ihtiyacınız olan bornozlarda beden bulunmuyor, battal boy çok büyük bedenler giyiyor insanlar. Havuz yetersiz, küçük kapalı havuzda onlarca insan dip dibe. Havlu bornoz koyacak şezlong bulunmadığı gibi, askı bile yok. Yiyeceklerde kullanılan ürünler genelde pınar marka ancak yemekler orta lezzette. Odada klima kumandası bozuktu, çalıştıramadığımızdan oda hep rutubetliydi. Kış olduğu için otel içinde oturduk ancak lobide oturma alanı yetersizdi, yerden olmamak için kalkıp biryere gidemedik. 4 - 5 masandan oluşan oyun salonu var, o da yetersiz. Yakın zamanda gitmiş ve otele 4-5 puan vermiş olanlar tahminen hiç 5 yıldızlı otelde konaklamamış. Tek olumlu yönü personelin kibar ve güler yüzlü olması.

Odama çıkarılırken koridorun halıların tertemiz olduğunu ve müthiş güzel koktuğunu umarım odam da bu şekildedir diye düşündüm. Yanılmamışım. Restaurant dahil her yer tertemizdi. İkinci olarak tüm otel personeli saygı ve güler yüzlü davranıyordu tüm konuklara. Otelin konumu zaten mükemmeldir. Yine gideceğim. Çok teşekkür ederim, tebrikler.

1 gece kaldım. Çalışanlar dahil olmak üzere her konuda çok güzel ağırlandık. Tek sıkıntı odanın balkonu kirliydi.

Denizi tropikal bir ada kadar berrak ve kumsalı çok huzurlu, spa hizmetinden de memnun kaldık. Gerçek bir dinlenme için harika koşullara sahip.

Sehr schönes Hotel toller Wellness Bereich. Aber die Zimmer sind echt in die Jahre gekommen. Es soll einen Friseur geben im Hotel an der Tür keine Öffnungszeiten . Der kommt wir er Lust hat. Da das Hotel ein wenig abgelegen ist nervt das natürlich. Ich finde generell die Preise für Getränke in der Türkei eine Frechheit das betrifft nicht nur dieses Hotel. Teuer als in Deutschland.

Deluxe deniz manzaralı odada kaldım. Oda içinde her ne kadar kilitlenmiş olsa da yan odayla bağlantılı bir kapının olmasını garipsedim. Bu durum tedirgin edici. Yalıtım hiç iyi değil. Bu otelin 50 yılı aşkın bir yaşa sahip olmasından kaynaklandığıyla gerekçelendirilse de böylesine büyük bir tesis için müşteri memnuniyeti açısından önemli bir sorundur kanımca. Otel personeli genel olarak güleryüzlü ve nazik. Otel müşterilerine yiyecek ve içecek fiyatlarının ekstra ve çok yüksek olmasını (çay, kahve, tost, çorba, yemek vs) yadırgadım. Yanısıra akşam açık büfe yemeğinin toplamda asgarî 66 Euro olması da ilginç. Otelin konumu göz önüne alındığında aç kalma ihtimaliniz yüksek. Fiyat performans açısından otel benden 10 üzerinden 7 puan almıştır.

Uzun yıllardır konakladığığımız tatil yaptığımız güzide otel. Kısa süreli bir tatildi otelin fazla kalabalık olmadığı günlere denk gelmek açısından huzurluydu dinlendirici bir tatildi. Farklı plaj alternatifleri olması kolaylık sağlıyor mesafeler uzak olsa bile. Otelden fazla miktarda geri dönüşüm copu çıktığını gördüm bunları geri dönüşüme kazandırmalarını Ümit ediyorum

Otel girişimimiz boyunca keyifli güler yizlu çözüm odaklı bir ekip ile karşılaştık ve Beach çok güzel çocuklar için aile için de çok uygun bir otel herşey için çok teşekkür ederiz

L'hotel a perdu en gamme et c'est bien dommage. Nouriture moyen, literie horrible, manque de l'animation , ne vaut pas son prix !
