I liked the feeling of old royalty and the hotel being authentic.
Very beautiful property! Enjoyed our stay.
An oasis in the middle of hell
An oasis in the middle of hell
We stayed 4 days at the Haveli. We really enjoyed the old world charm , the food, our spacious room and the hospitality, if you are into modern look and feel this is not for you. If you like quaint old palaces where you might meet the house dog or have nice conversations with the staff , and enjoy the old world charm this place has to offer , you will love it here
Very charming hotel. It does make you feel you are in some type of old movie setup. The hotel is not fancy but you wouldn’t be disappointed. It just a perfect place in its own way.
The staff was most accommodating. We were given rooms on the 4th floor. My mother didn’t like the steps. The hotel moved us to the first floor/ground floor. Awesome rooms. The decor and areas match the pictures. Very soothing and zen environment to sit and enjoy the Jaipur morning and evening. The food was great. We ate there three nights plus breakfast. Excellent spread. The owner lives on the property and keeps an eye on things. His dog putters around the property.
The perfect hideaway
The Hotel was a secret little Gem. Tucked away from the hussle and the busy streets of Jaipur. The staff were friendly and Tentative. The only concern was the Massage service as not really what we expected. The decor and the history of the building was very breathtaking
This property is absolutely beautiful and charming. The staff were attentive. As a solo traveler I felt safe, welcome, and the reception gave great advice on seeing Jaipur.
The best place to stay in Jaipur
Alsisar Haveli is one of the most amazing places we stayed in India. Behind its gates is an extraordinary architecture, a lovely pool (great after our long and hot day of visits), a great restaurant both for diner and breakfast, and nice rooms.
Not worth the money
Noisy and unhygienic rooms. Staff barely cares for your needs Average food. Most staffs caters to foreigners
This property is just perfect for short or long stays. Staff very friendly and very charming hotel
Very nice haveli, beautiful courtyards, mirror-work sitting rooms and historical value while you get to meet very interesting travelers starting from ones on their spiritual journey to ones adopting! Cute little pug of owners running around and looking for pets and lots of space for kids to run around! Great food at the gorgeous dining area as well….only thing is VERY bad wifi situation. If you will keep busy admiring the hotel then no worries but if you need to work then bring your own portable wifi/hotspot!
Meticulously designed space with a lovely old-timey vibe.
A spectacular property off the beaten path
A true haveli that revealed itself in layers from a quiet entrance to a spectacular pool.
Fantastic service, great location, good food, very nice staff
Amazingly beautiful hotel! Unique rooms. Beautiful pool. Good restaurant. Good breakfast. Affordable and quick laundry services.
Very unique property in an old Rajasthani palace! The bedroom was incredibly spacious and the decor was stunning. The public sitting areas are gorgeous with painting and mirror-work. The restaurant was adequate but the peaceful environment through the rest of the property more than made up for that.

My parents and my friend and I booked two rooms here, both through hotels.com, same room, same price. My parents room was quite a bit larger than ours and had a fridge and a heater. In our room they had hooked up a space heater, which had an outlet plug which was bolted to the wall so you couldn't move it. It was located on the side of one of the beds, so basically the person in the other bed would have to just be cold. Luckily they did bring us a second space heater on request; unluckily, the beds are very tall, so all the heat was going under the bed! The door locks are very unique, but annoying. It's an actual lock, no one knows how to use it at first so all night/morning you get to hear the symphony of other guests banging around trying to lock their doors. There are also screen doors, which you will hear slamming constantly. The call to prayer is very loud in this location, so that will also wake you up very early. When you go to dinner at the hotel's restaurant, they will hover over you for most of your meal, not in a helpful way but in a creepy way. One staff member asked my friend how her food was, she said, "Very good," he said, "It couldn't have been very good since you didn't finish it." Just weird. In all the hotels I've stay in around India, they put 2 bottles of water per person in each room. Here they only put 1. When asked to provide more, they pushed back but finally said okay. The additional water was never provided. Would not recommend booking.
The staff was surly and had poor attitude. The compounds was nice. However, the place could do with a better clean (the room and table tops were dusty), there was mould in the shower. We understand this is a heritage hotel and so was the sheets and towels. The sheets have been through so much that they are rough!
Lovely old style hotel with lovely rooms, services and pool.
A hidden gem ... a beautiful oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. Beautiful rooms and lounges. Quiet rooms. Fantastic service. Highly recommended.
Beautiful property, wonderful rooms. There was a great Indian restaurant. They staff was good. There is no elevator so getting around could be a challenge for some. The only negative I have is that the wifi was very spotty. They need to invest in this area.
Good hotel
Rooms were great. Very regal. Very clean. Location is not good tho, so plan for that.
Nice to stay here, but menu was only Indian. There should be some more option in meal.
No good service , bathrooms not clean , no towals, very sad , I am not happy with Expedia & they should refund me the amount back
Not good service, No towals in the room, not clean
Like everything. Would go back there. Spa very nice
Haven of peace and quiet
Fabulous ancient haveli, a haven of peace and quiet with a spa and swimming pool, just off a busy street. Well maintained, beautifully decorated, clean, good staff, great room on roof, great buffet breakfast and evening meals. Great location - easy to get a tuk-tuk or taxi.
Sight seeing trip to Jaipur.
Excellent service at the reception and restaurant. Very attentive staff. Rooms are spacious. Unfortunately we spent only one night.
This is a truly fantastic Hotel. Has such a lovely atmosphere.IT is like a mini palace. An oasis.
Stunning
We had such a pleasant stay at the Alsisar Haveli. It is a beautiful place with a great dining area and pool.
An oasis of peace within a very bustling city
Greeted warmly on my arrival and given the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. Beautiful old Haveli buildings restored sympathetcially. Good modern facilities such as wifi and airconditioning. Very well maintained grounds and pool area. Luxuriously appointed and comfortable bedroom and common areas. Like being in a scaled down Palace or Fort. Food at breakfast and dinner buffet was good quality and delicious. I did use the travel desk to arrange a local tour guide (I'm travelling alone) and driver - both were excellent and spoke good English.
Gorgeous hotel, mediocre restaurant and staff
The hotel is truly breathtaking and the rooms are big and well decorated despite couple of sore spots like certain lamps mounting and such. The pool is beautiful but water is not terribly clean, quite murky. The restaurant is mediocre at best and expensive for their offerings. Just visit Jaipur Modern Kitchen instead, it’s close by. The staff is not too friendly and not too helpful. Such a shame. They don’t seem to smile or enjoy their work. Overall, the hotel is beautiful. A palace indeed. Don’t eat there, don’t try to get help and you’ll be fine.
Super heritage hotel
The heritage hotel was super ,the reception staff were helpful ,unfortunately it depended on which waiter you got ,for service and pleasantness for food ect , we only had snacks and breakfast once ,which was not included ,and could of been a lot better ,the hotel pool needed a good clean at the bottom ,,,how ever ,lovely hotel to stay at ,do t regret it at all ,except what I have mentioned thank you
Nice place to visit...
The Hotel was very pretty, but a bit rundown. The food was quite good, and the staff was friendly and helpful especially at the restaurant. The man playing the flute in the evenings was great! The location was about 15 minutes outside of the center of the old part of the city. Overall it was a nice experience.
Perfect place to stay
Great location inside the city. Very well maintained. Excellent good and service.
WONDERFUL HAVELI HERITAGE HOTEL
WE HAD A GROUP OF 8 AT THIS PROPERTY AND EVERYONE ENJOYED THEIR STAYS. STAYED AT THE PROPERTY 2 DIFFERENT TIMES IN A 3 WEEK PERIOD. STAFF WERE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. FOOD WAS GREAT. THEY HAD ENTERTAINMENT EACH EVENING. LOCATION WAS CENTRAL FOR SIGHTSEEING THOUGH NOT MUCH TO SEE WHEN YOU STEP OUTSIDE. WE USED A LOCAL TUK TUK DRIVER THEY RECOMMENDED NAMED ABDUL FOR SUNRISE TRIP TO THE HAWA MAHAL ON 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. ALSO INCLUDED CASAL RIDE AROUND THE OLD CITY. NO LIFT ONLY STAIRS. ROOMS GENERALLY OPENED UP TO TERRACE AREA THAT OVERLOOKED THE CENTRAL COURTYARD. POOL AREA WAS PRETTY.
A superior and gorgeous hotel.
I loved this hotel. It's an old haveli (mansion) and the building and grounds are really beautiful. The rooms are very large and comfortable. You can dine outside, and when the weather is good, it was really lovely to have a meal there. A wonderful traditional musician played in the courtyard during dinner, and don't miss the great Rajput traditional puppet show also there in the courtyard. Service was superior. I forgot some things in the hotel safe and the general manager handled the situation perfectly and kindly. He kept my items secure and did all that I could have hoped, making what could have been a stressful situation into something that was only a slight inconvenience. I appreciated this so very much. This was our favorite hotel during a two week vacation in India.
Gorgeous stylish haveli
It has amazingly lovely rooms and outdoor area (with a medium sized pool). However I did not like one of the spirits I ordered. Stick to the wine.
Old style beautifully maintained .
Nice hotel , but all the shops around hotel are industrial or mechanical . No walking distance restaurants . Very limited band width on wifi .
Beautiful hotel, like a mini palace
great getaway experience
wonderful hotel and grounds great staff good value
Beautiful hotel, a pleasure to stay in. Highly recommend for location, staff and overall styling
Noisy hotel Discourteous staff Rooms and toilets are not well maintained Beds are terrible Pets roaming around near dining areas of the hotel
Peaceful , convenient
A lovely experience staying in a navella. Garden and terrace encouraged much needed relaxation. Warm to cool weather. Walking distance to the old walled city. Nice to come home in the evening to a cool beer and hot shower before dinner
Beautiful Oasis of Calm in Jaipur.
Just a beautiful old Haveli. Would thoroughly recommend it. Great prices and rooms are very spacious. Everyone was very helpful and it felt like retreating to an oasis of calm after the business of Jaipur. Had dinner there which was great and breakfast which was also excellent. I also had a facial at the spa which at IR2500 was very reasonable and fantastic. Laundry also well priced and good. Wi-Fi was OK but their set up was poor. You need a separate password for each device and it cannot remember your log-on so you need to re-enter each time. Only down side of hotel.
Great work in creating an heritage oasis in an otherwise challenging neighborhood
Beautiful but has some problems
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and feels wonderful to sit outside. Breakfast is lacking and room had ants..
Great hotel with lovely staff
Everything great except the breakfast (though that was admittedly terrible in every hotel in India).
Indian jewel in Jaipur
Charming hotel in Jaipur, beautiful achitecture and comfy rooms. Close to shopping, perfectly located!! Loved it!
Really nice palace converted into an hotel!
Really enjoyed both the location and the style/luxury of the hotel
Alsisar stay
Bathroom was quite bad. Clogged toilet and shower water overflowing into the rest of the bathroom ... not something expected of a heritage hotel. The TV was so small, difficult to use and poorly placed in the room
Colonial excllence
This is an oasis in what is the chaos of Jaipur, Staff are absolutely brilliant. We came for rest and recuperation as my wife is wheelchair bound and everyone was just great. The restaurant and food was just fantastic as was the service. The property was very good with a pool area and there is a spa on site, The tuk tuk at the front gate will take you anywhere just tell him what you need or a tour of the Pink City it is an experience and after all of that you have got the Oasis to come to.
Great Haveli in Jaipur
Very nice Haveli, nice staff, good restaurant with buffet dinner and good breakfast. Charming building, spacious room and a spa where me and my husband had great massages!
Old Style Elegance
Beautiful havaeli not far from the Pink City. Very helpful staff, attentive and friendly. Relaxing poolside and gorgeous rooms, all well maintained in old style charm.
Excellent Hotel
The hotel and the staff were absolutely amazing
Great location in beautiful hotel
Very friendly service in a beautiful and traditionally decorated hotel that was once the home to a local family. Great location to get around and very safe
Lovely stay. Marigold hotel like.
My wife and I loved the Ambience and the feel of this historical building. It would be easy to say it was old and lacking of mod cons but that is simply being picky. It was great. The food was a little mild and should not be made to suit Europeans as I came to taste real India not beige
Good hotel
Decent hotel in traditional style, bit worn out but clean, nice outdoor area with a pool, had a good massage there for 3000 rupees, buffet dinner - average
A wonderful oasis
We loved this hotel, the dinning room was exquisite, lovely freshly made to order pancakes for breakfast. Great buffet in the evening. Huge rooms, slightly noisy because of being aniversario the dinning room but all in all wonderful. We enjoyes the company of Stella too!!
Great Haveli!!
The hotel and room is lovely and clean. You can see the part of Maharaja‘s life by staying at this hotel. Nice antiques are decorating the hotel. You can enjoy breakfast at the garden. There is also a gorgeous restaurant. I strongly recommend this hotel!!!
Beautiful hotel in the quiet area
The hotel is super beautiful and the room I had was comfortable but can be improved on cleanliness. I stayed on the 3rd floor and there were no lifts or elevators so it might be a problem if you have huge/heavy luggages. Me and my friends had backpacks but the staff was there to help us bring our heavy backpack to our room. This hotel is worth taking some pictures because its design is really super beautiful.
Nice heritage property
Loved the rooms. Initial shock when you approach the hotel from the main road and once you enter the hotel you know are pleasantly surprised. Very good heritage property. Well maintained. No complaints. I did not order any room service but don't see a reason to be negatively surprised.
Good position
We had a lovely stay other than beds and pillows were uncomfortable
Great traditional stay
Great way to experience traditional hospitality - the rooms are comfortable and clean.
Loved this beautiful, peaceful, heritage hotel
Loved this beautiful, peaceful, heritage haveli hotel. Book it. The period building, grounds and interior furnishings are so tastefully kept and just smile inducing, we spent the whole time there grinning from ear to ear. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to come back. The staff were very kind and helpful too, lending us money to pay our taxis when ATMs were not functioning. Cheroo (apologies for the misspelling!) the Auto Rickshaw driver was great too (especially good for cashmere & gem splurges). Dinner on the terrace was lovely.
lovely old heritage hotel
Great value for staying in a beautifully renovated stately home
Nice heritage hotel in the middle of the city.
The hotel is Haveli converted to Hotel, the premises is very nice although the condition seems a bit old. The room sizes are not bad but overall the hotel is clean, the pool area is good too. The downside is the location, it is located right on a road and the entrance is very easy to miss and the neighboring area is not great too.
Beautiful courtyard
Relaxing quaint hotel, good service, relaxing, quiet, couldn't hear the bustle and hustle of the city
Oasis in Jaipur
Lovely well maintained heritage hotel with excellent service.
Great stay- thoroughly enjoyable for whole family
Thoroughly enjoyable especially for children who played with owners dog
Gracious, honest staff! Beautiful surroundings!
I can't say enough about the integrity and service of the staff at Alsisar Haveli. I came to India to attend a wedding. I packed more valuable jewelry than I normally would for a trip. I foolishly left my jewelry case in a bureau drawer in the hotel. When I discovered this, I was already in another city. I called the hotel, they quickly procured my items, emailed me photos of my jewelry and worked with my guide to make sure it arrived the next day. In all of this they were courteous and responded quickly. I am so grateful to them! This is a beautiful hotel in the style of old, truly gracious India. After checking in you will walk into a lush courtyard with plants, fountains, beautiful tiles and places to sit and relax. This is a former living quarters turned into a hotel. At breakfast I found myself just staring at the intricacies of the arches and the fine painting detail. Just being in this environment is worth the stay!
Slightly pricey hotel not far from Jaipur's center
Stayed for one night with a friend. Room was clean. Hotel itself was quite interesting esthetically and structurally. Complementary breakfast was a mix of Indian and western options. Hot water only during AM hours. Location is about 10 - 15 minutes auto-rickshaw ride from the old city palace.

They don't provide any service for free. They asked to provide laundry service then handed me a bill of 1500. Even shuttle/car to the airport is NOT free like other havelis provide. Avoid this place. There are many other good places in the city.
