Like a little home from home. Our room had an outside area to sit in, nice lounge area, dining table and chairs. Added bonus was the spa bath with seperate shower cubicle

Lovely clean property, hosts were amazing. I'll be back .. Love Taupo for Ironman and 70.3 support the community gets it.

A very, very pleasant Motel, very clean and spacious. very convenient to all of Taupo. Could not have asked for more. Will definitely go back.

This was our second time booking in to this beautiful place that suited most for my little family. We had the same exact family room and our kids loved it more with the Spa pool jet inside as well. We will definitely come back again for our next Taupo trip next year.

Perfectly located and acessible

Our experience was very good handy to everything we needed Reception staff very nice. A little concerned about how slippery it was around the shower area.

Great place to stay... beautiful room, welcoming hosts, great location... not by the lake but close to everything. Plenty of parking.

1 night stay in a family unit. Well equipped with comfortable beds..good hot shower...very spacious...woukd certainly stay again.

The Alpine Lake Motor Lodge provided exceptional value. The owner provided exceptional customer service and could not help us enough. The moment I walked into the room I was taken back by the quality modern layout of the amenities from the full size kitchen, spacious bathroom with a separate spa bath, to the expansive living area with numerous quality appointments. We could not have asked for any better and provided exceptional value for money. The location was ideal walking distance to the local shops and restaurants. Highly recommended quality accommodation if you stay in Taupo 10 out of 10.

Fab, clean and the best bed and spa

The jetted bath tub is really amazing amenity!! The female reception staff that checked us in, she is really good with her customer service as I am also working in Reception in a hotel in Wellington, I find her very welcoming and it made our stay great. Room is really clean and I was really amaze of it.

Great stay here - very clean, all the features advertised in the room were fully functional. I appreciated the effort to be environmentally friendly and to support fair trade with the products (tea, coffee, hygiene items) provided. Lovely warm service from the management. Thanks! It is a good place to stay, great location; however they need to ensure bedsheets are clean.

The owner is lovely, property clean and fresh. Loved the private courtyard. We found the bed too soft. Other than this though we were happy with our stay.

What a wonderful night at this fabulous motor lodge, the room was immaculate and so spacious and comfortable! I could move in ! Beautiful staff and I enjoyed the banter after so long in my own company- what a treat to book here. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone traveling. Ps the makeup washer was a great touch and made me smile - you get it we need a darker colour to remove makeup traces on face washers! Thank you Alpine Lake Motor Lidge - faultless accommodation.

Friendly staff, clean, tidy and comfortable room

Was very good for a short stay with kids.

Quiet, private outdoor space for some

Studio with whirlpool bath. It was reasonably sized and had everything needed, but wasn't particularly comfortable. The bed was far too soft, there were 2 comfy chairs but sitting on the bed turned out to be more comfortable. However the downstairs room had a little outside area where we ate breakfast. Admittedly it was surrounded by high walls for privacy so no view but a positive. Also there was a notice saying don't use air-conditioning after 10pm to not disturb other guests. It was ok in November, but I wondered if in summer it might be too hot at night without it.

Very quiet and warm room , bed very comfy. Good off street parking and easy walk to town or the lake . Will definitely stay again

Nice clean room, great weekend in Taupo

The room was a welcome sight after a long day and the staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. Would return anytime.

We only stayed one night but the bed was super comfortable and we had all we needed. Weather was not so kind to us, there was a little private outdoor area that would have been nice on a sunny day.

Great place to stay, staff very friendly and accomodates my change of plans. When i got to the room it was clean and well laid out with a nice spa bath.

Really enjoyed our stay. Easy parking, comfortable beds, good wifi, nice jetted bath, a good kitchenette and walking distance to town. Would recommend.

The staff went out of their way to look after me, as I'd accidentally booked for the wrong date. She found me a room which I was so thankful for !!!

Amazing property with great service. Has awesome heating in the room and heated floors that you can control the temp. Tv in each room. Great for everyone and huge bonus for families with kids. Definitely will look up for this property for all my stays in Taupo.

Great place to stay for the weekend. Very clean, tidy, and modern. Loved the kitchen setup with hot plate for cooking. Spa bath a bonus! Close to town, but quiet. Well priced also. Will definitely be back

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was a breeze and staff were friendly. Room was clean and updated. Heat pump and underfloor heating made sure we were nice and toasty. Perfect distance from town, was an easy walk. Great stay over all.

Great place to stay, very comfortable has everything you need for a trip away

Quiet location, great coffee shop and dairy just around the corner. Friendly staff. Really comfortable. Just a little frustrating to have to login to the TV even to watch normal free to air. Fridge also set way to low and froze everything.

I have stayed at the Alpine Lake Motor Lodge a couple of times now and have loved every minute. Stacey, Darrin and the team are extremely welcoming and accomodating. The rooms are very clean and provide all the amenities you could need, a nice added touch with the smart tvs as well. 10 minute walk max to the town centre with parking on-site available. Will be back in the near future. Mya :)

Excellent Accommodation in Taupo

Excellent one night accommodation in Taupo. Pleasant & helpful owners.

The room was excellent. Everything you could want or need. Bed was comfortable. Deck was adorable. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. If/when we return to Taupo we will choose this motel again.

Very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. Modern well maintained unit. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Only downside was TV a little hard to get going. But that might be because we are a little technologically challenged! Was a bit late at night to ring reception, and got there in the end.

We loved everything about this place. It was so peaceful, no noise from other rooms or from the road. The place was really clean with a great kitchenette that was super helpful when staying for 5 nights. Thank you so much for having us, we'll definitely be back.

My favourite motel

This is my favorite motel to stay in Taupo! Clean and comfortable room with spa pool.

Found dead sandflies under the pillow, right before going to bed, imagine if that’s you. Tried to talk to the reception but they said on the contact page, only contact for emergency after hour. I checked google and found out this place ranked as 4 star hotel, I mean come on, how bold of you to claim that when there’s even no phone in the room, nor the 24 hours reception.
