The room was clean and in good condition. For a January stay in Radium Hot Springs - the heating worked well. The TV with a good sound system was a pleasant surprise. Staff were helpful . I will stay here again.

Stayed here a couple of nights to do some X country skiing in the area. Good value for the money. Comfortable and clean.

I would recommend to anyone who plan to visit Radium Hot Springs, 2 mins drive to the hot spring. Clean quiet and has everything you need, price was very affordable.

Staff was good . Good stay for people who want to explore Radium and only wants to sleep .

Good cheap spot for a short stay.

I had everything I needed in my room; microwave, fridge, TV etc. for a decent price. However, there was no staff in front desk and the clients were forwarded to another establishment across the street for services. I got my coffee, extra cup and other daily needs from another motel which I found weird. I will stay here again but can you recruit someone at least for two hours in the morning?"

The only downside for us was was the bed. May as well of slept on the floor.

Incredible area to hike, view scenery, explore the town and of course enjoy the hot springs literally 3 minutes away. Would stay again.

Bathroom light flickered constantly in a stroke-inducing way. No one at office. Flies in room. Beds hard. Every plug was overloaded prior to adding a phone charger. Price was low - you get what you pay for.

It was a great stay. The road noise is loud but very quiet during night. clean and comfortable.

We chose this property randomly by checking out the main drive in town and then booking on hotels.com. Unfortunately the property did not provide what it seemed to offer on outward appearance. The price charged by the property was approximately $50 more than the hotels.com price. The clerk said, "Yes, a lot of people think the hotels.com price is the one they'll pay, but they don't tell you about the additional fees and charges." We have not experienced this bait & switch pricing before and were very unhappy, especially once we actually saw the sub-par room and accommodations. Very disappointing!

I thought I booked a room for $146, I was told it was $20 when I went to pay. not many choices for dining, most business closed down. then the power went out, granted not the motel's fault, from 8 to 4am the next day. These places should have generators to deal with power outages.

pretty good location, everything is good for the price. the washroom is a little bit small, and do not provide hair dryer.

The accommodations are comfortable, only issue we had was the amount of mosquitoes in the room, probably because it was humid. Took us awhile before we got most of them.

I enjoyed my stay at the Alpen. Check in at their sister hotel across the street was easy, and took less than 5 minutes. The front desk staff was very kind! The room was basic, but had everything I needed! Comfy bed, hot water, good pressure, fridge, microwave, and a little balcony with a view! My only complaint was the secondary lock in the door was broke, and they had nailed a piece of wood in as a lock for the sliding glass door as that lock was broken too. As a solo female traveler, it made me a little nervous. I was grateful it was a safe and quiet area, but still not good. If that’s fixed, I would give it 5 stars.

For the price we paid and also having an AC I would say it’s worthy when outside is 30 We booked on last minute and I’m glad

The area is close to nature and a hot spring.

The room is spacious. It offers basic amenities and 3 minute drive to dining options or convenience stores. And the hotspring. If you have a large truck though, ask for a room at the front because the mountainside rooms would be a bit challenging to maneuver even a small vehicle while parking because there is a trailer parked perpendicular to the parking spots. Accesible along the highway good for a stay on a long haul driving trip.

The place was very spacious and had all the necessities. Parking located right in front of the door. Location is very close to Radium hot springs and the restaurants in town.

The floor was dirty and sticky, and there’s an RV trailer parked at the upper level parking area which makes it harder to park and get out of the area

It doesn’t look like much from the outside. But parking is good and safe. The room is fresh and very clean. Everything works as it should. I will stay here again

Customer service is AWFUL. The only good thing is that the motel is on the main road and close to the pool

If you are not picky and wanted a budget friendly romm to stay for the night, this is the place for you. Room doesn't get cold enough though so keep that in mind for summer. No blower for the bathroom as well. Most of the furniture and electronics are outdated,,hence the budget friendly rate. Staff are friendly but gave us the wrong information about Radium hot springs so be aware to do your own research and contact the place and not rely on staff. Ease of checking out is easy as well Pet friendly choice for families.

Terrible! Couldn’t even stay the second night!

We had a terrible stay. Hotel room was clean and decent for the price paid however the other customers and lack of staff made our stay terrible that we left the second night at 11:30pm as we couldn't stand to stay another night. We had come on a family trip with 3 young children. We were placed on the bottom floor (which is fine) however there were about 20 other people there (all together who are in their maybe early 20s) they partied all night at it started at 11pm until 3am. They were on both sides of us as well as above us. We didnt sleep at all, nor could the kids. We decided to wait it out and hoped they would be gone for the second night however again they started another round of the same partying. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and drove 3.5 hours back to calgary. Highly recommend you look somewhere else to stay it was not worth the cheaper room to not get any sleep at all. Not once did anyone visit the property, which i think they should have considering the cars they rolled up in and moterbikes they knew these individuals were young. These people didnt play music but were very loud yelling and laughing, ran room to room, smoking pot and whatever else they were doing, and coughing like crazy from the smoking right outside our door. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Bath has separate switch for bath fan Annoying when you turn on the bath lights and the noisy fan comes on so appreciate the separate switches here

very quiet as we were the only guests there. It was quite basic, at a very reasonable priced.

For me this was a great value place to stay, all my needs were met. There are definitely fancier places out there but this was clean and comfy and the price was right.

Good value

Everything was very accessible and we were literally just there to sleep. The place was very close to the road which was a downside as I can hear every truck pass by even late at night. The walls were quite thin too so can hear folks move and talk around us. Other than that, it was comfortable enough with basic amenities handy for a short stay.
