The hotel is very clean, the staff super friendly and attentive, front desk staff very helpful, great suggestions, and there was no language barrier as they spoke english well.

We had an amazing time at the Aliana. The room had a great view of the funicular train and valley below (when the white out fog conditions allowed for a view) and the staff was wonderful. They arranged for our room to be ready at 8 am when we arrived from the overnight train from Hanoi, were able to arrange early spa appointments for us on our day of departure and the food was incredible. We had a great stay and cannot thank the staff enough for making our trip to Sapa comfortable.

Aliana is close yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main town (10 minute walk). The rooms were spacious with amazing views of the mountains (including Fansipan). Pool was a lovely addition after trekking up Fansipan or through local villages. We left slightly bemused after being charged for a dirty towel, but other than that would recommend.

Room with a view

Location, location, location. Room with a view to die for. The service was amazing. The breakfast sensational...especially the banana pancake. The room spacious and comfortable. Sapa is gorgeous and this hotel takes full advantage....with a touch of class.

Aliana Boutique Sapa Hotel - Quiet and Beautiful

Our amazing Sapa experience would not have been the same if we had stayed anywhere else. The Aliana Boutique Sapa Hotel started with a warm welcome and an upgrade to a fantastic suite (Thanks to Aliana and Hotels.com for perk) with a spacious balcony overlooking rice terraces, the funicular, Cat Cat Village and whether permitting, Fanispan Mountain. The suite had a lot of space and was serviced well. The breakfast buffets in Vietnam seem hard to beat, and at the Aliana Boutique, they offer "cook to order" dishes included with the buffet. My partner perfected the banana pancake that came with chocolate sauce, by topping it with a fresh banana and other sauces. I have to say that not only was it the best pancake in Vietnam, but possibly, the world. Staff were a well-groomed team, and they reflect well on their management. They worked together to make the experience at Aliana Boutique Sapa Hotel a perfect place for a visit into the Vietnamese hills.

Beautiful hotel. A perfect location. An easy 20 min walk into the centre but situated a little out in a hillside with stunning views from your balcony

The amenities were good, staff are super friendly. Just a little walk up the hill from sapa town if you don’t mind.

Excellent Hotel Stay

Very good service staff (particularly Lien Chau and Lien Nguyen) at the reception and the restaurant respectively. Both were polite, attentive, very helpful and pleasant. Overall a beautiful hotel at the top of a hill, easy walking distance to the town, not far from Sun Plaza where we took the train to cable car station. Just don't go to the peak on a public holiday as the queue is horrendous. We waited 5 hours just to get to the top!

Nice room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. My only negative was the bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. I barely slept the three nights i was there.

What a pleasant stay at Aliana! I was upgraded to a suite with such a nice view Sapa mountains. I was also given a late check out. Definitely will stay here again when I'm back. One point to note is that the property is located further in and beside an old property that is run down. Be careful when you walk in towards Aliana. Since this is not controllable by Aliana, so just take note. (:

This hotel had a touch of luxury we hadn’t yet come across in Vietnam. Our room was stunning the staff were incredible and the buffet breakfast was awesome we wish we had stayed more nights. Thank you for having us.

Staff were friendly and welcoming as soon as you step foot on the property. Rooms were extremely clean. And views from the rooms were excellent. Breakfast and dinner at the in house restaurant was amazing as well. Bit of a trek to the city centre if you're walking via incline and construction zones but otherwise a short cab ride. I believe they're rated 3 star hotel (correct me if I'm wrong) but provide 5 star hotel service!

Staff and hotel were great, a short 5 min walk to town, We had a large balcony, but lots of cloud, so consider this option as it may not be necessary, great at organising bespoke tour. would happily stay here again. no road noise but near enough to center.

호텔 시설, 직원 서비스, 객실 청결도 등 모든 것이 완벽한 호텔이었습니다. 다만, 방문 당시 짙은 안개로 객실 테라스에서 보려고 했던 멋진 풍경을 체류기간 내내 하나도 볼 수가 없었던 점이 아쉬웠네요. 사파는 9월에 방문하는 것이 가장 좋다는 게 리셉션 직원의 조언이었습니다.

Generally, the stay was superb, the view from my porch was fantastic, the hotel staff were friendly. They even allowed us to check-in early due to room availability. The location of the hotel is slightly inconvenient, it was not in the main city center but because of this the view of the mountains and paddy fields from my room was gorgeous and unobstructed. As there are a number of construction ongoing and we visited during december (rainy and foggy), the path to the hotel were muddy and uneven.

Loved the mountain view from the balcony! Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Hotel staff were professional, personable and attentive. They were extremely responsive when I requested sliced lemon, honey and tea to soothe my sore throat. Complimentary bottled water really helps to settle in quickly. Hotel was away from the center but within 10 mins walking distance from the center. Electric cars are convenient to get around town. Area for improvement-reduce the amount of fabric softener for laundry service.

The friendliest staff :)

The staff are amazing, so nice, friendly and attentive. My friend was sick and they went and got her plain bread to help during the day which was very nice.

A pleasant surprise!

Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the magnificent view of the mountain right out from the room balcony. Clean room, towels, linens and comfy bed. Friendly associates with genuine service from their hearts.

AMAZING 5 STARS - people working here are the best

I have traveled the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This hotel has an amazing team working here, so kind, helpful, friendly and focused on service. Super clean, great views, quiet, just the right distance from town for short walk. Nice pool, super good food and choices in the restaurant - great service! For VALUE and everything there is no better choice anywhere! Many thanks and gratitude to all, Lien was extra kind and helpful, great guide as well, highly recommend.

The property is beautiful. It’s quiet and has beautiful views of the rice crops and also to the funicular of Fansipan. The rooms are beautiful and really comfy. The hotel is really close to the station which is the building with the clock there you can get the funicular that will take you to Sunworld Fansipan. Walking distance is like 11 minutes and like 13 to the town of Sapa. The only cons is that there is a construction in the block so if it’s raining you will get your shoes with mud, but not a big deal. In the town of Sapa the app grab does not work so you will have to get a taxi to go around, but it’s really easy and the lobby will help you call one. Also the staff in the reception help you coordinate with a taxi to take you to the villages for approximate 600 bahts and to go to the waterfalls and the surroundings is like 1,000 bahts. Highly recommended. The breakfast and lunch in the hotel is amazing is a la carta. Delicious! All the staff in the hotel is really helpful and nice. They are amazing Lien Chau, Tuan, and Hung :) really happy with them. Also if you plan to go back to the train station the staff will help you coordinate a private one if you like. Highly recommend the hotel. 😀

Boutique Beauty

We had a 2 night stay with friends after a 3 day trek staying in homes stays so this was pure luxury after. It was very quiet as it is away from the busyness off the city centre but was walkable to town. We were notified by email prior and there was also a letter in our room to advise us and apologise for any inconvenience due to the alterations the hotel was undergoing. All the staff from reception to the dining room were very attentive and polite. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. A lovely stay thank you.😊

Excellent stay

This is a very nice hotel and the service was great. They even allowed me to use a room to shower after I had checked out but before I started my overnight return trip to Hanoi. The hotel is a bit outside of the main town but has a great view over the valley. I would definitely recommend it.

Didn’t live up to the hype of a 9.7

A little strange. Not the cheapest hotel but had to pay for coffee at breakfast. There was no cups for any tea or coffee and they had no English speaking TV channels. To walk to the hotel you have to walk through undulating construction roads up a hill. Not quite as central as I expected but walkable. Just don’t expect to drag a suitcase over it. I will say the room was clean and the staff were super friendly.

The Alina hotel was excellent couldn’t fault it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was about a ten minute walk into Sapa the road was a bit dug up but only a short distance. We had a great view of the mountains in front of the hotel. The restaurant food was 5 star. We got upgraded to a suite and balcony room. Highly recommend

Stylish chic hotel with excellent service

This stylish and elegant hotel, which has some of, if not the, best unobstructed views across the valley, absolutely deserves 5 stars. Everything is spotless and the staff are extremely helpful, attentive and professional. Our room was large, light and airy, with plenty of electrical sockets and beautifully decorated. In the bathroom the pretty blue and white local ceramic accessories were a nice touch. The overall decor of the hotel is modern chic with a touch of traditional, such as the tribal woven fabrics used in some of the upholstery, and the circular hearth in the restaurant which must be wonderfully cosy in colder weather. There is some excellent photography, mainly of local tribal peoples, decorating the rooms and private areas. The pool was clean and looked welcoming when the sun was shining although we didn't have time to take a dip. Sadly when we visited the spa was out of action, hopefully they will be able to open it again as the higher season approaches. Breakfast was varied and generous, with eggs cooked to order. I would absolutely stay here again for longer. Highly recommended.

The entire staff was amazing!

Hotel was ok but the environment surrounding the hotel was bad.Road leading to the hotel seems as if there was a landslide that took place recently. It is impossible to walk to town.

Aliana Boutique Sapa Hotel and Spa is a hidden gem. We loved everything about this hotel. From the service to greet and meet customer. The staff and crew are super nice. They welcome you with an open arm and we feel like we are part of the family. We would recommend this little gem to our friends and family members whenever they have a chance to visit Sapa.

The staff was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly, it always felt like coming back home instead of coming back to a hotel. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms very spacious. I can only recommend staying at this hotel when staying in Sapa.

Very nice hotel. Service was great. Very quiet area. The room was warm and cozy. Around 5 minute walk to town center. I wish the restaurant was open all day and I wish the spa was operational.

Really nice hotel with great views over the valley. It's an extra few minutes walk away from the main town down a road that's mostly under construction at the moment, but it was a gorgeous room and staff were very helpful and friendly. The spa wasn't open due to it being quiet. Lovely restaurant staff.

We had a fantastic stay at Aira Sapa. The staff are so friendly and willing to help. The property is far enough away from the hustle bustle but still a really quick walk into town. Breakfast was great and we also had a delicious dinner there too. The hotel has a laundry service which is so useful after trekking and the clothes came back smelling great (all folded neatly too). Highly recommend the hotel and Sapa to all :)

It was a pleasure to stay there kind staff, and we can get the family room, so our families stay in enough beds. I want to mention that the room was such a dark rock cliff view. I got some information on the last date of the free cancellation date if I know before I ask the change the room.

Great hotel with fantastic staff and great view. Couldn’t be better!

Even though the spa, bar and restaurant were closed due to Covid, the hotel was still spectacular. Gorgeous rooms, breathtaking views and the free upgrade was a wonderful surprise. The gym was a little neglected but still okay. Amazing staff. Loved it so much I booked the Aira in Hoi An for the latter part of my trip.

Hotel is just little to far from town. For some reason there was a disconnect for me with this hotel.

A superb hotel which exceeded all expectations! Hotel is modern, really comfortable bed and sofa in room, plus great service from Front Desk Staff to all staff in the restaurant! Special shout out to Edward from Front Desk, who was really helpful in unravelling communting arrangements, in the middle of the night! Staff in the restaurant were attentive and always pre-empting our needs! Though not in the heart of the city, the 6-mins walk clearly justifies the great view everyday! I will definitely recommend this hotel who anyone who visits Sa Pa!

the service at this hotel is very good. The staff go out of their way to help the guests. The rooms are nice. Afternoon tea is a nice plus.

The reception staff was extremely attentive and responsive. They gave us great recommendations, clear easy directions, made sure taxis knew where to go, and setup an amazing tour for us. When we needed a late checkout, they offered a 6:30pm checkout for a very reasonable price. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

Clean hotel, amazing view, great foods, and right at the heart of town, close to everything. The hotel has great breakfast with variety foods, a MUST try! They also offer free tea time from 3pm to 5pm with coffee, tea, fresh juice, fruits and lots of sweet treats. All staffs were very friendly and helpful. They gave us warmest welcome for our arriving as well as our leaving. Mr. Long - Hotel Manager- was generous enough to offer us a free room for resting and shower before leaving after our long trekking day. We had a great stay. Thank you! Definitely will come back and stay with Aira Boutique Sapa Hotel & Spa again.

The most perfect stay. We arrived early, our room wasn’t ready however we up graded and could go straight to that room after arriving to Sapa on the sleeper train. The staff couldn’t do enough and where ever so helpful and attentive. The room was clean and adequate for what we required and the view was spectacular looking out over the mountains. I loved sitting with a book and a coffee with the view (not as much reading done as just looking). Had a lovely massage in the spa and the food was really nice and the afternoon tea was a very nice touch. We both would come back to stay.

WOW this hotel is absolutely perfect. The rooms are beautiful, the views are stunning and the hotel staff are amazing. We came to Sapa as part of our honeymoon and this hotel made out stay absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast and also a massage at the Spa and both were excellent. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and if I could rate it higher I would. The location is also perfect. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.

Amazing hotel. After a 7hr bus ride I was very tired and arrived to the hotel at 3am. Woke up at 7am and decided to peak out the window before sleeping some more...WOW!!! The view is beyond amazing - definitely get a room which faces the front entrance. The pictures simply cannot transmit the feeling I had. I don't care where you live - go to Sa Pa once in your lifetime and definitely stay at this hotel. Staff is very friendly and food is good. Breakfast buffet is on par with any big name luxury hotels. Walking distance to the main square and the lake and to train station. Take the train to cable cars and go up to Fansipan and definitely visit the Cat Cat village too! I'm now dreaming to go back there and will not stay anywhere else but Aira!

We arrived in the early morning (5:50) on the train from Hanoi and they offered us a room for a fee of $20 (best money ever spent). The Aira is in a tranquil location and still very close to town (5 min easy walk to the Fansipan (a must-do) cable car station). We were treated like royalty. Jennie at the front desk and her staff were so friendly, helpful and respectful. Always made sure we were well informed, safe and satisfied. Very good English speakers. All their services are so attentive - one feels like they are there just for you. Great room service. Wonderful massages at their spa. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool. A nice compact workout room although you can get more than enough physical activity outside. They made great arrangements for our outdoor activities. We hired their driver on our way back to Hanoi: perfect ride. This is one hotel we can recommend without any reservation...great comfort and value; we couldn’t have asked for better. From our experience, and we are seasoned travelers, we give it very truthful 5 stars.

Great get-away from Hanoi.

I stayed for a 4 night get aways. It was a great loctation within easy reach of the centre. Rooms we're clean, staff so very helpful and kind. The breakfast was lovely. Wifi was reliable. The spa was delightful. Tony the tour guide was excellent as were Steve, Dana, Ko and the rest of the staff. I have no complaints about any of the services. My colleague was disappointed with the Vegetarian restaurant options but overall great.

Quiet location, beautiful view, cool air, near enough to walk to downtown and catch the train car to the base of the mountain for the gondola. The hotel staff even booked our Mt. Fan Si Pan day trip up and back! You will be pleased with this choice of hotel. Trust me, the staff is very well trained.

Wonderful Stay

This hotel was the perfect place to relax and be pampered before my trek. I highly recommend booking. They really go above and beyond service wise and the view of sapa is breathtaking from the balcony. The vegetable curry was delicious :)

The views from the rooms with front balconies are stunning and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. The pool however was very disappointing, as the water was green and very off-putting. The staff assured us it was clean but it really needs to be sorted.

We are family of two adults and two kids. We spent five nights in Aira Hotel in Sapa. Everything was perfect, staff is very friendly, we had a two storey apartment which provide a lot of space for us. View from the balcony is marvelous. We did three trips, we asked hotel to manage booking and again everything was perfect. We also eat four times in hotel restaurant and quality of the food was better then what we had in restaurant in the city. I can recommend massage as well.

The views of this hotel are absolutely incredible, the staff is so kind and helpful. My husband and I booked our tour from the hotel to see all of Sapa and it truly had to be the best tour we had all trip. This is a five star hotel!

Excellent service - even cleaned our shoes after a hike for free! Nice bar and restaurant. Amazing views. A little out of town, which is nice, just a ten minute walk into town.

The hotel is in a spectacular location. The staff goes above and beyond what is asked of them to please you. The massage offered are profetional and everyone really listens to what you say and ask. Really a great experience there and if you're in Sapa govto this hotel, you won't be disappointed!

I would specially like to thank Jennie for all her hospitality and making sure our stay is super comfortable and also helping and suggesting us travel plans based on your time in Sapa so that we don't miss out on anything. Thank you Jennie it was really nice. We liked this place a lot, I think this was the best boutique hotel in our whole experience. All staff was really polite and helpful, we also enjoyed SPA treatment which was excellent. Only thing I would suggest is heated swimming pool and sauna to complete this place perfect. Best hotel!

Our check in was seamless greeted with and earl grey tea Lilly especially was fabulous. They made our room available 3 hours before check in time and gave us a free upgrade (we were exhausted from extensive travelling) There is free afternoon tea at the hotel and nothing is too much trouble - the views are beautiful and it is only a 5 minute walk to the central Sapa town. Breakfast was ample and delicious - made to order menu and they can arrange anything for you - providing a free map and pricing for things so you are not overcharged A wonderful stay

Aira Boutique was perfect for us. A 5+ minute walk away from the bustling city square, it was a quiet and lovely hotel full of amenities (spa, outdoor pool, restaurant/bar). The people around the hotel were fantastic (helpful & friendly), and all the tours & guides we used through the hotel desk were great. But... the best parts are the rooms with stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

This is a nice hotel, well positioned with good views. However it is all about the staff and service. The staff really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. Would I stay here again if in SAPA...110%

VIP Service all around

Spent two nights at Aira Boutique Hotel. Many hotels in Vietnam use the word "Boutique" in their names, but few make guests feel like VIP's. Hotel seems new and all the facilities are of of the best quality. Rooms and Insuite bath are spacious and very well equipped. Interior decor is modern and reflects the people and nature of Sapa. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of Asian and western foods. The whole city is a construction site with many new hotels being built when we visited. Aira provide a restful and quiet place from the noisy city. Every staff person was helpful and courteous. The have been trained to provide the best quality of customer service we experienced in Vietnam. Highly recommend this hotel! You will be pleased to enjoy their VIP treatment.

We stayed in the duplex room - very clean facility and courteous staff. 2 toilets and room and wonderful for family stay. Great location and walking distance to the sapa train station and town. Stephen provides extra mile service that caters to our needs. He arranges everything for us. Jenny gives good direction and guide for us to go to Fansipan Peak without your guide.

We had a great time in Sapa. The weather was not great, but we did get some sunshine and had a very cool 1 day trek. the hotal and staff were wonderful and we liked Sapa town

A five stars Hotel value for a bargain price. A truly amazing experience both amenities, facility, room size view and decor yet the best is the service staff and restaurant. I have stayed in the most luxurious hotel in the world with Mandarin Oriental my number one and Ritz yet Aira while not playing in the same field is remarkable comparaison- they have managed to provide a similar experience with top player at the SAPA hotel in Vietnam at a very very good price. Great job keep up! I will be back

Fantastic Hotel with Beautiful Views

The customer service at Aira is above and beyond. We absolutely loved our stay there. The staff is so friendly and amazingly helpful! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sapa that wants a fantastic hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas and our whole time at Aira Boutique was fantastic. We were greeted by Hannah who was very friendly and helpful. She always said hi to us when she saw us and reminded us about breakfast and afternoon tea each day. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The balcony offers amazing views. The restaurant is also great. Highly recommend the Chicken Curry and Duck in passionfruit sauce. The hotel is only a short walk into town.

Amazing Hotel

I don't often write reviews; however, I feel that this hotel truly deserves the recognition. The view from my room was beautiful. Room was spacious and very clean. The restaurant served great food. I can't compliment enough about the staff at Aira. They were so professional and courteous. Would definitely return to this hotel if I visit Sapa.

Spent Christmas here with my family. The location was incredible, it has the view looking straight at the mountain range and the Fansipan summit. You can wake up being wrapped around by the cloud at dawn. The food was wonderful, a delightful interpretation of Vietnamese cuisine via a western lens. The portion was just perfect. The staffs were lovely, helpful, and very hospitable. Despite having been in Sapa for quite often, I still found their service to be top par.

The hotel located at the end of a road near Sapa town center so it's very peaceful and quiet yet convenient as its 10 min leisure walk to the town center! Hotel staffs were very nice and helpful as they always show their genuine care to make sure you have a good time there and feeling relaxed like you're at home! Off the beaten track

We got upgraded to a room with view but the weather wasn't on our side. This hotel is kinda off everything. It's about 8 mins walk quiet and foggy lane. There's slopes and muddy roads. We didn't get late check out but we got a room to wash up when we leave. Breakfast was normal and room was OK.

Amazing hotel and amazing staff! Really went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.
