Bed was big and comfy. It was a cold night and they had put the heating on which was brilliant. We only stayed overnight literally for a bed. We didnt shower or have breakfast so can't comment on that.

Comfortable without breaking the bank

Very nice owners, kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. I would stay here again.

A fantastic Accomodation in Selçuk! Wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms with comfortable bed, delicious breakfast included as well as delicious affordable meals at their nearby restaurant! Great advice to visit the area, quiet but near all attractions…we were sad to leave!!

Very close to St John’s Basillica (8min walk), 2 mins from Ali Baba’s restaurant- home cooked traditional food at a low price. 7 min walk to the train. Room was large and clean. Bathroom also large and clean. Breakfast included keeps you going till 3pm. Ali works hard to make your stay great.

Loved it here

Great room, great staff and great location. Would be happy to go back here anytime. Breakfast was great chatting with other travelers and gave us a taste of true Turkish hospitality

Great place

Just as we expected lovely little place very rustic and for the price it was exceptional

Good location, walkable from train station, close to museum and castle. Proprietor was kind and took me to the Ephesus archeological site just before it opened at 8 in the morning. Room was very basic and it seemed the price was a bit high even after discounts - but it is Selcuk/Ephesus. Breakfast included, but doesn't start until 8 so I missed it during both days of visit.

We stayed five nights in this lovely historical home in the most enjoyable homy surroundings. Ali Baba gave great advises about local and Selçuk’s surrounding towns and villages to visit. His whole stuff were the most gracious and welcoming. Thank you for all!

Good value

Good value in Selcuk. Clean, spacious, and comfortable room. Good breakfast and owner was friendly and helpful. Convenient to sites in town.

Ali Baba/s House

It is a quaint location near restaurants, shops and most importantly historical attractions like Ephesus, the Ephesus Museum, etc. The owners and personnel were warm and friendly. The only thing we didn't see was a wardrobe in our room.

Clean and in an excellent location.

Lovely stay

Ali Baba was a wonderful host. The staff were waiting for us and when we arrived and had our room ready. The room was simple and clean. This is an old building with lots of character, not a brand new, shiny hotel. Breakfast was wonderful - a traditional Turkish breakfast, served by Ali Baba and his wife. There is parking and it is in walking distance to all the attractions within Selcuk’s city limits and within a couple hours driving time to other major attractions.

Ali Baba and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable. Ali Baba kindly drove us to Ephesus free of charge. The breakfast spread was great and I would highly recommend eating at his restaurant which was delicious home cooked food for very good prices. The house was clean and comfortable and in a nice quiet area. We wish we had stayed another night.

A small family guesthouse . Great location 10 min walk to the train station and 5 min walk to the bus station. Very clean, quiet and spacious room. Very welcoming and friendly. You feel like home

A wonderful stay

Great spot to explore Selçuk and Ephesus! We had a fab two nights both at the hotel and the owner’s wonderful restaurant which had the best food (and prices) in town. Highly recommend. Thanks for having us!

Alibaba and the staff were incredible - we loved our stay there.

Location is the best for everything to do in Selcuk. Owners are friendly. Breakfast is not the best, it could be better for the price of the rooms, as well the room supplies

I highly recommend staying at Ali babas. Him and his wife are very sweet host. Their place was clean the a/c worked, bed was comfy and the shower had hot water, that’s all I needed. Their restaurant is a 5 min walk from the residence and the Kababs were delicious, if you haven’t been to the restaurant as yet then you need to go!

Two thumbs Way up!

Ali was excellent! Such a welcoming, kind man and offered superb hospitality. His place was immaculately clean, had excellent wifi and a lovely breakfast included as well. We ate dinner at his restaurant just around the corner and Ali made for us a fantastic, vegetarian dinner and again, offered wonderful service. He even taught us about Turkish carpets and how to know quality from knock-offs. Two thumbs Way up!

Genel anlamda temiz. Banyoda su kacagi var. Kahvalti standart, bir ozellik yok ama ev yapimi reçel güzel.

Hosts were really nice, even gave us a ride to see the ruins, and a choice of rooms! Breakfast was delicious!

Everyone who we met was lovely, the Turkish breakfast was fabulous, the rooms tru to pictures, (traditional turkish town house). Alis Restaurant around the corner from house served fantastic turkish fare, very reasonably priced. Gozlem is our favourite. Highly recommend. Xx

Great family-run guesthouse, centrally located

Located right behind the archaeology museum and down the street from the St. John Basilica, this is a great family run place. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Very helpful hosts.

Clean and centrally located

Given the reviews and price, I was expecting something with a bit more style and comfort. It’s not luxurious, but it does have its good points. Firstly, the owners are lovely. Friendly, helpful and keen to please. Secondly, it’s centrally located in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms and comfort level are fairly ordinary. Clean and spacious, but fairly basic with wifi that only reliably works in the courtyard and breakfast room. I was happy with the stay, but would have liked a bit more comfort and a stronger wifi connection.

Great Guesthouse but not wheelchair accessible

Ali Baba's is a great guesthouse. It's in a great location. It has a lovely courtyard. The room we had was large and scrupulously clean. The hosts were welcoming and gave us great breakfasts. I would stay here again without hesitation. It is, however, not wheelchair accessible and I booked there based on the information that it was. As we arrived they were in the middle of building 2 ramps for me which worked delightfully. The bathroom in our room was not wheelchair accessible but if that is absolutely required a large hotel is probably your best bet. This worked for me.

It was so uninviting and so not like pictures on there site. We did not even check in.

Very friendly and generous.

Ali Baba and Mehmet are so lovely. They go above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. They offer lots of great food and answer all our questions generously. Mehmet even got up at 5am to help out get it the door with a hot breakfast!

excellent stay, close to museum, st john basilca and castle.. bus station and eateries... very friendly staff... clean and comfortable. will stay again

Très belle chambre propre et spacieuse!!!!

Otele giriş yaptıktan sonra konaklamaya dair yeterli bilgi verilmedi. (Kahvaltı saati vs.) Odalar temiz ve ferah. Odaların bulunduğu katta sigara içilen açık alan var, oraya koltuk konulmuş müşterilerin konforu düşünülerek fakat gece geç saatlere kadar orada oturup sohbet eden insanlar olabiliyor ve diğer odalara çok ses geliyor. Ayrıca bahçe katında görevli personelin de ses ve gürültü konusunda biraz hassas olması gerekiyor. Aşağıdan ve odanın bulunduğu kattan gelen seslerden dolayı uyuyamadık ve sonunda uyarmak zorunda kaldık. Bunun dışında konum olarak iyi ve tercih edilebilir.

Yatağımızda kocaman bir böcek vardı pikenin altındaydı kapının altı böcek vb girmesi için müsaitti bina bakımsızdı elbette çok fiyat vermedik ancak temiz olsun isterdik

Accueil très chaleureux. Hôtes disponibles et sympathiques. Le patron nous a amené gratuitement à Ephèse et à la gare. Nous recommandons fortement ce B&B, proche du musée,de la station d'autobus et de la gare, de tout !

위치가 최고입니다! 역이나 버스 터미널과 가까워서 주변 관광지 이동이 편했습니다. 객실은 오래되었지만 깔끔한 펜션같았고 할머니댁에 온듯 편안한 가정집 같은 분위기를 느낄 수 있는 곳입니다!

Une nuit à Selçuk

Le séjour dans cet hôtel (maison d'hôtes) familiale fut très bien. Les propriétaires sont adorables, serviable et soucieux de plaire. Il est situé au centre d'un quartier calme, parfait pour visiter la ville. La chambre est simple, propre et spacieuse avec une connexion wifi et le pdj est compris. Le restaurant que tient les propriétaires est aussi très bon, les Gozlemes sont à tomber :) n'hésitez pas à le tester.

Excelente ubicación. Recámara amplia y limpia

Nos gustó mucho el lugar, pequeño porque era una casa pero acogedor, la recámara es súper amplia. Ali es muy amable tiene también un local de kebab a la vuelta, no estaba cuando llegamos pero vino de inmediato porque su esposa y ayudantes no hablan inglés. Había leído comentarios negativos pero por el precio, me parece excelente la relación calidad. cuando llegamos tenían ropa tendida porque usan el sol para secarla, particularmente esta vez no me molestó pues se ve que aprovecharon el espacio. Esta a dos cuadras del la central de autobuses que te lleva a Efeso, caminamos a todos lados (templo de Artemisa, de san Juan) y la terminal del tren está a 10 min caminando para irnos a Izmir. 6 de 5 estrellas.

Einfache Unterkunft liebevoll eingerichtet. Betreiber sind eine sehr freundliche Familie die hilfsbereit ist und nie aufdringlich. Das Zimmer das ich bezogen habe, war ausreichend groß, hatte einen Kühlschrank und die Möglichkeit bequem zu sitzen (dies scheint mir wichtig zu erwähnen, weil es nicht Standard ist - habe die anderen auch erlebt). Wollte noch 2 Tage buchen, leider war die Unterkunft bereits ausgebucht. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Tercih edilebilecek bir otel.

Odalar çok temizdi, personel ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü, kahvaltı da harikaydı. Buranın yöresel, sevimli, küçük bir butik otel olduğunu unutmamak lazım. Bu standartlarda mükemmel bir oteldi.

Excelente, fue un buen recibimiento y la ubicación es buena.

Aunque sólo estuvimos una noche..recibimos un buen trato de la gente de la casa..todo muy familiar..como si hubiera ido a la casa de mi tía Pochocha..pero pasamos un poco de frío esa noche con la temperatura gélida de afuera..y acordamos con la señora tener el desayuno a las 8 hs y se durmió lo que nos hizo comenzar los Tours re atrasados. Pero destacó el trato cordial recibido en todo momento.
