I particularly appreciated the woollen blankets in the cupboard! We requested that our heater be looked at and that was done that day and working that evening.

Attractive building, modern, spacious, good size and well equipped kitchen. Fittings , kitchen equipment and bathroom inclusions all fresh and modern. On main highway but this was not obvious in our upstairs unit. Good views.

Sleepness

Had trouble sleeping during the night. Vehicle noise along the front and back of our room.

Was great to be able to take the dog on holiday

Over the years stayed there several times the unit was clean but starting to get tired carpet drapes need attention

Overall the property was great for my 2 night stay. Just a few minor niggles. The unit was large which meant that the TV was a little far away for my old eyes and I may have had it up a little loud for my old ears. Heating took quite a long time to warm up the room. Parking was tight for my large 4WD.

This motel was just great, the staff delightful. Spotlessly clean, convenient to everything Alexandra has to offer, and we able to take our fur baby. Completely recommend!!!

Our room was lovely and clean. There was a large and comfortable bed. The room was spacious. The hostess friendly. It is situated on a busy road but with windows closed we had a quiet night.

Really helpful, arrived late at night with short notice due to weather concerns for travel following day, heating had been put on and curtains closed to keep room warm for my arrival. Overnight staff even put towels on car windscreens to protect them from frost in morning. Great service

Lovely little spot

Loved my stay here and can’t fault anything. Place was immaculately clean, beds were comfy and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay and I will definitely be booking here again if I’m travelling through the are.

Great place to stay when travelling for work in the Central Otago region.

Lovely unit, could do with a heat pump possibly in Summer? There was a little bit of road noise in our unit - but it was the unit most likely to be affected, in general excellent value.

winter breaks

a cold winters day travelling & this is the first motel this winter we have ever booked into that the owners had the room warm with the heaters on , Hospitality that is disappearing as the baby boomer kiwi owners leave this industry .

Close to main road but you never heard traffic or neighboring room- everything you need insitu for a quick stay

Great motel in a good location. Alexandra is a must see town with N.Z's highest temperatures I summer and the lowest in winter so you get to experience true seasonal weather. When I arrived late at night the staff had already pre warmed my room and the light was on. Thank you

Over priced and underwhelming

No one cleans in the corners - of the windows or the shower. The room was not serviced and for the room rate a night for two people, I expect at least clean towels and the rubbish removed. The paper I asked for was not delivered either.
