great place and location
comfy and located right in the German Colony, 13 minute walk to the Lower City. recommended
It was ok, not the best but it was ok. The only complain I have is that I payed a tax because I live in Israel. I understood based of what I read that only citizens of Israel will pay this tax, I am not a citizen. Anyways, that´s my complain specially during this covid season having a guess should be a blessing not a way to perpetuate enemisties.
Cheap and centerly located
Very friendly service, excellent location given the price point.
Friendly, helpful staff. Gave lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do.
CAREFUL of what they offer...
Hotel is very INACCURATELY depicted on website. It is a HOSTEL, so all rooms are communal, nothing private other than the bed (and door barely locks), LOTS of MOSQUITOS, VERY OVERPRICED. Had a very uncomfortable stay, fighting off mosquitos, sharing the bathroom, begging for an extra blanket, etc. Things it lists as "in the room" are all things the hostel "has" but are not private to you. People who ran it were decent, good area/location, but definitely not worth $100USD! Asked for a refund, as it wasn't correct or reasonable, and they told us "no". Very disappointing.
V. good Hostel with a few annoyances
Let's get the negative out of the way. The dorm room seems to have a lot of spaces where mosquitos get in and I got bitten 3 times one night, giving me a restless night. From my dorm, the bathrooms/showers requires walking through a courtyard which in the winter/rain is most unpleasant. So the positives. The place is very clean and in fact the staff keep the place clean all the time. The beds and blankets where clean and it's obvious the staff great care to wash the beddings often. The place is very popular with guests, but there's always space somewhere for everyone to mingle or just do their own thing. The hostel provides a decent breakfast, mixed and varied and despite all the guests, there's more than enough to go round with staff keeping things topped up. The staff are just amazing, all smiles and really friendly and helpful. The Wifi is great especially when you consider the number of guests using it. Location wise, it's right on Ben Gurian Boulevard lined with restaurants, bars, shops and of course the street leads to the Bahai Shrine. The hostel is right outside several bus stops, so getting anywhere is very easy. There's a bar attached to the hostel and that too is a great place to hang out as the staff play a eclectic collection of music. All things considered, you get a lot for the price paid.
Location and staff are great!
Enjoyed the area and my stay there.
It was very lovely and the kitchen was nice and clean
A great Hostel
It was a really well maintained place with friendly workers and good services. Everything was in good condition and the stay was pleasant overall.
its a simple, small hostel. but i really enjoyed it because its very familar. The stuff is super, they give good advices and are very very Friendly.
We stayed in the hostel for one night, in the family room, and must say that maybe our expectations were too high but the accommodation was not what I would have expected for the price. We were greeted with the most friendly staff, but the room itself was pretty rundown and dirty, and definitely not too welcoming (old furniture, waterleaks on the ceiling, rundown beds etc.). Also, we could not find the promised free parking lot, despite advice from the staff, but eventually managed to park the car at a nearby street. The complementary breakfast was pretty basic as well. On a more positive note, the internet connection functioned, the location of the hostel is central and after all, we were there only for one night. Cannot recommend the place to a group or family, as there are more comfortable and cleaner options available in Haifa for a cheaper price.

The description said there was breakfast, private bathroom, kitchen, free water, and no curfew. None of this was provided or was true. They locked the gate at night and we were locked in till 9 am. This is a major fire safety hazard. The common area was being used as a restaurant. Guests were made to feel we were nuisance. I spoke with other guests that felt that the same way. Honestly I wanted to leave but every other accomodation in the area was booked so I had nowhere to go. The staff repeatedly brushed past us, told us to move, or ignored us. No one ever said hi or smiled. This is my first negative review. I'm a positive person and try to find something good to say, but I can't for this hostel. Stay away!!!
