Great hotel a nice distance from both the old qaurter and historic monuments. Would recommend to anyone visitng Hanoi.

Very comfortable property, helpful staff, easy checkin

Perfect choice in Hanoi

Great relaxing vibe here in the heart of the city. Our balcony room was a decent size, very comfortable and clean. All the staff we came into contact with were exceptional during our short one night stay from the reception staff through to Mark at the fabulous rooftop bar he was a credit to the hotel very engaging and helpful. Would love to come back to Aira Boutique certainly a great choice in Hanoi.

A cut above others

The service is impeccable. The location is wonderful. I stayed other places in Hanoi until I discovered this gem. The restaurant is also wonderful. I won't stay anywhere else on my annual business trip.

Brilliant hotel, staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Location perfect for exploring Train Street and the old quarter. Would definitely recommend and will stay here if in Hanoi again.

Highly recommend

Lovely boutique hotel in great location just on edge of Old Quarter. Rooms were large and clean with very comfortable bed. The Hotel is quite old but is maintained very well and has nice fittings that all work. Rooftop pool and bar are a bonus. Breakfast is basic but more than sufficient and the restaurant was excellent.

5 star stay

Great location, only 2 blocks from train street, but still quiet enough for great nights sleeps. Excellent restaurant, sky bar has great views and an attentive staff all add to what has to be Hanois best kept secret. Thanks Aira!

I spent six night at Aira Boutique, four before a Halong Bay cruise and two after. The first four nights were in one of the larger rooms, with a balcony at tree level above the main street. The last nights were in a regular sized room with a tiny balcony without much of a view. Both rooms were great. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they set up my Halong Bay tour at a time when lots of things were booked. I felt welcome and "seen." AC and Wifi worked great. Great shower too. Comfortable, clean and attractive rooms. I had breakfast a couple mornings in the fancy restaurant with nice views. I wish I had used the pool more. It's outdoors but covered. It was refreshing. The hotel is pretty well located -- very well located for the Train Street and a couple of other things. Overall, a great, great stay with excellent communication from the hotel and help whenever needed with transport, etc.

The lobby and restaurant were really nice and we liked the info given at check in. The room was tired looking with the smallest balcony I’ve ever seen. The pool area was disappointing and in need of maintenance. Better options in the same area for the same money.

Friendly staff, great location two minutes from the train track and walkable to most of old town

3mins walk from Train Street, and 20mins walk from the Old French Quarter, it’s the perfect location: close to everything but also very quiet (a must in a city like Hanoi!) My room was big and clean. The staff is very friendly, and they kindly let me shower in the spa before my late departure. I didn’t use the pool, gym or spa as it was a short stay so I can’t comment on those. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful service by the staff. The restaurant was delicious, and the spa likewise good (we got a massage). Overall, will definitely return!

Lovely hotel. In an excellent position for all attractions. Great being only 2 mins from train street. Great rooftop bar. Lovely and attentive staff. Ate in the restaurant twice as it was so good.

Short stay in Hanoi!

We ere due to stay 3 nights but only managed 1 at the end. Staff were brilliant. Good advice and very attentive. Location is good to visit Old Town, French Quarter and Mausoleum. Spa service at the hotel was great.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, one before our cruise and one after our cruise. It was a great location, very close to train street, so we were able to see the train twice, and also were in walking distance of an awesome street food tour that we booked on Viator. Definitely get some egg coffee at one of the train restaurants. The hotel was very pleasant. We did go onto the rooftop one night for a drink, and the bartender was an exceptional cocktail artist. We also visited the small pool once and it was very peaceful and scenic, although very crowded there was no place to sit down or lay down since there were so many people. That wasn’t an issue for us as we were just doing a quick dip to cool off.

The hotel was a good choice for those who want to be close to the Old Town and is very near the Train Street and in walking distance to Presidential Palace and HCM Mausoleum. The staff in the property were an absolute gem. Polite and they couldn’t do enough for us. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and also offered a complimentary drink on the rooftop bar. The rooms were boutique style — clean and functional but not necessarily modern. The swimming pool was small but cute but could get full at times — best to go first thing in the morning if you want it quiet. The spa massages were excellent and affordable. The balcony in the bedroom was a disappointment however. It is nothing more than a ledge which could be nice for smokers but for others I’d not bother paying the extra for it. All in all, good hotel where the staff are the best thing about it. However, a sour taste on checkout was a small penalty fee imposed which was regrettable and unnecessary. In sum, it makes the best of what it has and is affordable and well located. Good choice for a few nights in Hanoi.

The property is in a location convenient - a few mins walk to museums; the train street; book alley/street; and FOOD! The hotel also held our bags for free when we checked out but still had time to explore!

Staff and service was great and location is excellent. Restaurant and rooftop bar are good too, however room is a bit dated and has a strong mould smell. Was expecting better for the price

This is a really cute and quaint hotel and it's located quite near where the famous train street is as well as some great dinner outdoor kind of very traditional Vietnamese style sitting on small stools and eating great fresh food. It's also near some good shopping the old district the building has a cool pool as well as rooms with balconies. It's very old kind of French style vibe very beautiful on the inside. It's not a corporate hotel it's quite small and this Vietnamese style, but the service is very lovely in the people the staff are very friendly and very nice. I stayed in the room that's a bit larger and overlooking the pool. Very cool room if you can get it otherwise I recommend balcony room on the street little bit noisy up until about 10 o'clock and then the Citi kind of sleeps and you can rest as well, great location great hotel. Great people.

I loved the outstanding service at this hotel. They welcomed me every step of the way. I had a late flughr and they were very accommodating with my luggage and allowed me the pool and shower service before my flught. Love this hotel

The sky bar is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. The restaurant is amazing. The location was perfect- safe, walkable, plenty of dining options!

Excellent hotel with super staff. We couldn't have been made more welcome. The breakfast was extensive and covered all tastes; I particularly liked their pho. One night we also had an excellent dinner there. Hotel is positioned in the wider streets, with less traffic, near the citadel. However, a short walk over the railway line and you are in the hustle and bustle of the old quarter. Having a pool was a bonus, too. We would definitely stay there again.

Stellar service & excellent amenities

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. It may not be a five star hotel but it looked and felt like one. The level of service they provided was definitely five star. The two bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast spread was bountiful with a lot of variety. The pool was lovely. We had bottles of water and filtered water at our disposal. It was centrally located - less than 10 minute walk to Train Street. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again. Christine at the front desk, and the rest of the staff were amazing. Thank you for making us feel at home.

Everything was perfect except we had to call down three times to find out where our laundry was. It was not delivered back to the room and the front desk told us “if we find it, we will bring it up.” It was not reassuring to hear the front desk say that when most of our clothes for the rest of our vacation were temporarily missing. Even with the laundry issue, our stay was good. They surprised my partner with a birthday cake in the room which was so nice (despite it being an entire cake delivered at 9pm on our last night). We ate as much as we could. It was extremely appreciated and definitely made us feel special. I would recommend this hotel as the service is great and the breakfast delicious. The pool is crowded but we didn’t care as it cooled us down after a day of exploring the city. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The restaurant and rooftop skybar are fantastic and you get a good discount as a guest. The location, just two blocks from Train Street and a few blocks from the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum cannot be best. Surrounded by amazing restaurants, bars and shopping in every direction.

Lovely hotel, good value

Lovely hotel very close to train street and the old town, but away from the noise. Rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds. Very good value for money and pleasant and helpful staff. Only quibbles were - water for showers was warm but not hot, pool was tiny with only around 5-6 sunbeds and while the restaurant was good it was very expensive for Vietnam so either get a breakfast included deal or eat breakfast at one of the dozens of local cafes.

Great place to stay

I wish we booked this Hotel from start(we changed mid trip to this one) its very close to train st. Walking distances to everything else. After hot day pool was perfect!. Roof top bar has stunning views. Food in restaurants was fantastic and the staff... make the place... the are awesome we'd definitely come back and stay here

Good boutique hotel

Nice & clean boutique hotel located in the middle between old quarter and mausoleum park - hotel is right next to the famous train street. The rooms are well insulated there is NO street noise at all in this hotel, because street noise is a major problem in many other Hanoi hotels. Free minibar is convenient, and rooftop pool is great for many hot days

Pretty good value for money

A bit hit and miss: we had two different rooms, one was a bit old and generally humid while the other was downright lovely! Very nice breakfast. The gym is not really a gym but the pool is quite nice!

Aira is a lovely hotel with very modern, clean and spacious rooms. The staff and friendly happy for a chat and very informative. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is close to train street and shopping areas.

Everything about our stay was phenomenal. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Suzy was wonderful and helped us book tours to mua. I would always recommend this place to friends and family. Side note, my boyfriend and I are American and the staff at ARIA out did themselves to help us feel welcomed and comfortable.

Well located and good value for money. Kind and helpful staff. Pool area is small and looking tired. Breakfast offering was so so but the dinner we had was good. Overall we would stay again if in Hanoi.

Poor cost transparency, everything discounted but still more expensive than other Hanoi hotels I have stayed in recently. Staff not as friendly either!

Fab stay. Hotel staff are so kind and we’re really helpful. They upgraded my room and helped me book a spa treatment. Bed was huge and comfy and the room nicely designed.

A FIRST CLASS HOTEL

The hotel was wonderful in every way. It was suberbly situated in the old quarter and only 200 metres from Train Street. Service and attention to detail were exceptional. The hotel boasted a high end restaurant which served Vietnamese food on a different level. Having been in the country for three weeks already, we decided to treat ourselves to our evening meal there throughout our stay. However the thing that made our stay at the hotel so memorable were the staff. They were without exception so friendly and personable and nothing was too much trouble. We shouldn't single out anyone in particular but it would be wrong not to mention Suzy on reception who not only helped us out throughout our stay, but when it was discovered that we had left a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses in our room, she managed to get them to us on our Halong Bay Cruise. A distance of 98 kms! How she did it remains a mystery. So would we stay there again. Absolutely!

Nice property, good location, excellent staff

Location is great. Loved our room, comfy beds and super kind staff. Loved the rooftop bar. The pool is small and off of the gym and under a roof. I doubt it gets used much. Just leaving that note in case you are thinking you’d be hanging out there and are swayed by the picture. However, we loved Hanoi and this hotel!

Very nice hotel, well located. Service is 2nd to none for this type of hotel. Always someone to greet you with a smile. We were in a connecting family room and it was perfect. Plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable for a well deserved rest after +24 hours of flights to get here!!

Good location for walking both to old town- train street- Ho Chi Minh mausoleum. Small but pleasant bedroom. Balcony was effectively a Juliette balcony but rooms with larger balconies were street facing and therefore subject to road noise.

The hotel is situated near Train street & all the bars & restaurants. It’s walking distance to the old quarter.

The staff were sooo helpful. The rooftop bar was very good. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Train street was just down the road and a short walk to the old town. Excellent.

Fabulous staff couldn’t do enough to help. It was Tet Luna New Year so not everything open but they went out of the way to tell us where to go and what as open. The city was buzzing for the New Year and we were told slightly quieter than usual, but not for long. The hotel is in a perfect location between the Old Quarter and the Citadel and History side. Hotel very clean, Great breakfast and a very comfortable room & bed. Thank you to all the very friendly happy staff who made our stay very enjoyable.

Very comfy rooms, excellent helpful staff, and delicious breakfast. Pool isn’t heated so we couldn’t use it given the temperature, and the balconies are really small and don’t have much of a view. Still, for the price we had absolutely no complaints!

We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff was so nice and the hotel was clean and charming! It's very walkable. We were there during Tet and the hotel offered a free (delicious) breakfast and they complimented all our room service coffees (2 per day during our stay!). We mentioned we were honeymooning and they decorated our room with balloons and flowers. It was a lovely experience!

Very friendly staff and great location near to train street!

Has a 5 star feel. We were upgraded to a junior suite which much better suited us. Easy check in and check out. Right next to train street.

The staff at Aira are amazing. Suzie at reception gave us excellent advice on tours that would be great for us and we enjoyed each one of them. In fact all of the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming from the restaurant service team to the doormen to the spa attendants - we were very impressed were their dedication to your enjoyment at their hotel.

Helpful and accommodating staff. Clean and spacious rooms

The hotel was excellent, but the standout was the helpful staff from the moment my business partner and I arrived. Tony at reception was outstanding in making us feel very welcome, and provided excellent recommendations of restaurants in the surrounding area. The hotel’s restaurant was a 9/10 also. Will definitely stay again when returning with my family.

My stay at AIRA was my first holiday for nearly 20 years. I was thoroughly delighted with the hotel, its facilities, and its staff. I could not say a single bad word for it.

After a long day of travel, the 90 minute massage was refreshing and relaxing. The restaurant waiters were professional and friendly and the food excellent. Bed was comfortable and the room clean with nice amenities, like free drinks in the mini fridge. Front desk staff was very helpful. Highly recommended!

The property was nice but a little tired. The staff were amazing and the area around the property was great. Super accessible to Train Street and the Old Quarter - all within walking distance (if you can survive crossing the streets!) I would recommend this property but the photos are definitely better than reality - so just know that going in. No VIP upgrades or amenities.

Beyond expectations staff welcoming attention to every detail and need

Good little hotel in a good location to walk to the Old Quarter, the French Quarter, the lakes and cultural places of interest. The Executive Suite was clean-ish, comfortable and spacious (although nothing grand) and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of dishes. The hotel seemed a bit cluttered and disheveled in areas with staff folding linen in the foyer, floor polishing in the middle of the day and tall piles of stuff at the entrance of the restaurant and bar so the ambience of the hotel wasn’t somewhere you looked forward to come “home” to but the potential is there.

The Aira is set off away from the noise and hustle of the old quarter, but within a 10 min walk of it and many other interesting places. The staff was helpful and I liked my room. The hotel provided a clean, cozy haven from the bustle of a day in Ha Noi. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of choices, and the spa facilities are good. I especially want to call out Tham in the spa, who massaged out some bad kinks out of my shoulders and neck - huge thanks for that!

Wonderful staff! The staff go over and beyond to help. They truly made our travels better. The rooms are spacious, restaurant is lovely and the food is good.

Great service and lovely interior

The hotel is slightly out of the old town but still good location. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. The hotel did a lovely display for our anniversary. The only negative was every day when we went to the lift there were spare fold out beds and spare equipment which didn’t. Look nice and on our departure we had paid extra for a 7 seater car because my wife had hurt her back, but still ended up with a 5 seater!

Aira Boutique Hotel is set right at the edge of the Old Quarter, the ideal place to access in and out of the area, without being in the crazy zone. All the staff are super friendly, informative, and super helpful. It made the experience so much more enjoyable.
