Overall really good. However the forced valet parking without any sort of other parking options was a pain, especially as valet cost more on top of the stay itself.
Love how close it is to everything
Stayed here as it was the closest to the train station and I was getting off a late train, about 11PM. One of the most easiest, nicest, cleanest and prettiest hotels to ever check in to, especially that late at night. Staff was accommodating, super sweet, and the facilities are gorgeous.
Rooms are super clean and spacious, the workers are super nice and helpful including valet, and overall fantastic hotel though i wish they served breakfast.
I really enjoyed my recent one night stay. This hotel is so cute and clean. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back!
Disappointing Stay at the Aiden
While the hotel was conveniently located by the Alamodome & Riverwalk, the service was very poor. We stayed at the Aiden 2-weekends in a row for 5-nights total, & our room was serviced one time—and that was due to my requesting the room be serviced. When I requested service, they asked me if my “do not disturb” sign was on the door. Coincidentally, there was not a “do not disturb” sign located in the room.
San Antonio Trip
Great location, we could walk to everything we needed to. Very safe area to walk at night. Everyone at the hotel is freindly and very helpful. Doesnt have breakfast so we walked over to Dennys every morning. No parking its valet only. Unless you go park offsite. 30.00 a day in and out.
A+
This place is amazing. Great location to Alamodome.
the Hotel was good, but the fact that you have to use a Valet service at the front door when the parking lot is just 10 feet away is an unnecessary cost. Doesn't make any sense.
Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Short walk to the convention center and convenient to Riverwalk but just outside the hustle and bustle.
I didn't lile having forced valet parking charges.
Super Cute Hotel
This is our second time staying at Aiden. The hotel staff is so friendly…everyone! The decor of this hotel is our style, very swanky. I love how close it is to the riverwalk but out of the hustle and bustle. The only issue we had was the staff at the bar was under trained to be working alone on a Friday night. However, I know with time that it won’t be an issue.
Room was super clean, modern and spacious! Recently renovated from what I was told. They just need more food options. Nice cafe but limited options. I would absolutely stay here again and the price was relatively inexpensive compared to the surrounding hotels!
This is not on the riverwalk as expected or advertised. To get to the riverwalk you have to walk under the freeway, with homeless people, urine and filth. Would not recommend walking at night as it is unsafe. The rooms are “remodeled” but old and extremely loud right off the freeway. Your upstairs neighbors sound like they are going to fall through the ceiling. The valet parking you pay for is an open lot with no security. The bar is only open in the evenings. There is no real onsite restaurant. The only two helpful employees were the bartenders, who we found out were not employed by the hotel, so it makes sense why they were great. Cleanliness, well shower had footprints and was dirty. Also, they charged the room prior to arrival which was not the agreement upon booking, added deposit, fees and valet before checking which card I preferred to use. Would not recommend this place.
This property was beautiful and very clean. There were many small details that were added when decorating that really added a great deal to making anyone that stays here to feel like they were getting special treatment. If I’m ever back in San Antonio I will be staying here again
Great location, I walked to and from the Vibes Event Center for a concert. Has a great little bar also to hang out in and catch a game on the tvs they have, not to fond of valet parking but that’s what they offer, that’s the only downside for me! Other than that, great hotel.
It's a very unique property. Decorated very modern. Very nice and friendly check in clerk at front desk. Very close to the convention center. Easy walking distance.
Staff were all helpful and very friendly! Enjoyed our stay!
Very nice
Very nice. Look forward to staying again!
This was our first time to stay at this property, and we loved it! Staff was extremely nice and helpful, the atmosphere is decorated cute and modern, rooms were clean, overall very happy with this hotel! We will definitely stay here again.
Suoer cute boutique hotel. Staff was kind and very accommodating.
I loved this hotel! This will be the hotel we book going forward when we are in San Antonio.
Raise the room price if necessary, but get rid of valet parking. It's a hidden tax.
Had a cheer competition i SA this weekend and booked here. I was not disappointed because everyone here was super friendly from the valet to the cleaning crew. Top notch in my opinion and i was able to walk anywhere i need to go including the Alamodome which was literally across the way. My next visit to SA i will surely book here!
Not enough luggage carts. No microwave in the rooms. A/C not working properly but was fixed once reported. Clean and kitchen food was great. Great customer service.
Great location, but loud!
Excellent location but the street/car noise is horrible! Our group had 8 rooms spread throughout the hotel and every single room was loud enough to keep you awake at night. Unfortunately I won't stay there again because of this.
Amazing property, everything was very clean and staff were welcoming and attentive. The downtown night life was walking distance but you always had the choice of renting a scooter. Would definitely come back!!
It was worth the money!
Great place
Great customer service! Shoutout to RJ at the front desk and the entire staff! Clean rooms, cute decor, near everything, and we LOVED No Vacancy, the speakeasy located on the property. We’ll definitely be back!
I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have kids. They were def not excited that we had children and most of the staff was unfriendly except for the guy at the counter that checked us in. There were lots of rules- no laughing in the bar, no moving chairs to sit by your friends. The road noise is also really loud even on the top floors. It’s a cute place but I wouldn’t stay again.
Love the convenience of this property. It’s clean, nice towels and bath amenities.
Superb!
The front attendance were very welcoming ! Everything was clean and beautifully organized decorated and designed! Love the ambiance . Will definitely stay again
Good staff! Loved the underground bar
This property was very clean and personal was kind.
Loved the unique hotel style and closeness to the downtown area.
Good but costly
Great location but parking cost $30!
Location is very near Riverwalk which is convenient.. parking is only valet though.
Would come back
Our stay at Aiden Hotel was great! First time staying there and we will definitely be back. Walking distance to the riverwalk was very short and easy to locate!
Friendly staff, clean and modern rooms.
Fantastic stay!
Beautiful new hotel, large rooms, clean and excellent service. Location cannot be beat. Would recommend!
You WANNA stay here!
This hotel is amazing. The only reason i didnt give it five stars is because there was no iron in the room. They were great and correcting issues and the hotel had a hidden PLUS in the basement.
A hidden gem in plain sight!
Definitely a hidden Gem! The location is amazing, price is very reasonable & the guest service is great! Super clean rooms, comfortable beds, very spacious area. It was the details for me... make up towelettes in the bathroom, ceramic coffee cups complete coffee bar! Love, love loved our stay!
Property was great the thing that angry me was they did not tell us it would be $30 for parking and another $30 deposit for hotel stay smh
.
Hotel itself has a good look, but the area is terrible, you may have unwanted guest walking about, they only have valet parking which is $30 per night. And in this area you wouldn’t want to park in street, washrooms are really poor, they were clean, but only a handshower which had no pressure, also, water goes everywhere because a stand has no tub or glasses.
Nice
The room did not look clean at all. Shower was dirty and there was still hair inside shower walls and other hairs in the shower…. Furniture was not wiped, mirror was not cleaned properly and floor didn’t look cleaned either. Lobby is beautiful and staff is very nice. I was just very disappointed with the visible dirty room.
Nice hotel, very friendly staff, convenient to downtown. It does have a lot of interstate noise and nightlife noise so if you are a light sleeper this isn’t a place for you. This is our second stay here and would stay here again.
Very nice and clean. Modern style..Love it
We loved everything about the property once inside. We were really surprised at the level of noise from roads and proximity to I 37. There is also an outdoor bar somewhere nearby that played loud music until well after midnight. So if you are a light sleeper, this will be a problem that even a white noise app on your phone can't drown it out. One last thing, the parking was an additional $30 per day, plus tips for the attendants. I did not see that information when we booked, or I have have reconsidered.
Walkable distance to the riverwalk and surrounding bars.
thank you
It was really nice & clean. Up to date & safe. Beautiful hotel.
Loved our stay! Staff is fabulous
Overall good but at night you could hear loud traffic
Loud stomping from floor above.
Large rooms and proximity to local attractions was really nice. Just had an overall good vibe.
This is a nice, modern hotel with a great vibe. The location was convenient to the Espee, where we were attending a concert. There were plenty of food places around. Found a spot to park close to the hotel. Room was clean and nice
Hotel is very nice and quiet. Walking distance to Alamo dome was a plus!
It was a wonderful experience. It was walking distance to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and the Hemisphere plaza.
Won’t be coming back
Deception in the name. In order to get to the river walk you have to walk through a major highway. In addition, you can also hear the major highway in the middle of the night. People leaving the night establishments were blaring music and you could hear it all night long.
Hotel is in a good location . Don’t stay on the first floor next to street if you want to sleep well. Room needs more cleaning but over all it’s a nice hotel. Check in person was wonderful !
Super friendly staff - the way all hotels used to be.
Convenient to Alamodome, Riverwalk
This hotel wins for cleanliness and newness. This is the 2nd year we’ve come to San Antonio for a band contest and 2nd hotel for us to try. MUCH cleaner, newer, nicer than the first place we tried. Everything looked new and intentional. Plenty of multi use plugs, which we always love. Walking distance to the Alamodome and Riverwalk. Cons that aren’t actually cons, just things that weren’t for us: Valet or off lot parking only. The lobby is very much a social scene and we aren’t those people. The nose from the highway on-ramp sucks depending on where you are staying. We weren’t bothered by it to sleep but you can’t miss it either. The front desk staff left a lot to be desired on multiple occasions. When we first walked in, we were greeted with, “Can I help you?” as she continued her task. I know they have patrons and visitors but I appreciate being made to feel like we are valued right away. Pros: Housekeeping! Friendly ladies who always made our room fresh and clean every day. Valet guys are fast. You can text that you’re ready for your car and we rarely waited based on their time estimate.
Liked the room. However, our frig didn't work in our room. We told the front desk acted like they would send someone to fix it. We came back hours later and still didn't work. Also was a bit noisy from freeway. For the price would stay someone else when back in San Antonio.
The hotel was so unique and hip. Lots of cool artwork and furniture. The only complaint is the NOISE- i had to buy ear plugs the second night of our stay. We were on the first floor and right by a busy street and the highway.
Had a great stay would definitely stay here again if in the area again
Beautiful Hotel
Beautiful hotel! Quiet and clean!! Valet and check in was easy process. Drinks from the bar were a plus! Will definitely stay here in the future.
Our stay at the Aiden hotel was amazing! The hotel was beautiful and modern. Our room was really nice and we loved the idea of a secret speakeasy! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The area around didn’t seem to be the best but we made it safely to and from the riverwalk. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be back!
Would have never known it was a Best Western property if it wasn't in the name. Nothing against Best Western, but the vibe of the hotel was very unique
found our new favorite place to stay when visiting san antonio!
the safes in our 3 rooms don't work. Very noisy at night of car revving and racing. Windows have no noise insulation. Dirty floor. No charging adaptor for Tesla. The only bright note is the staff is very friendly. Would not come back or recommend this hotel
Funky hotel with nice rooms and great staff. No teal dining options in the hotel but nice options walkable. Be sure to ask about the speakeasy nownstairs. It’s open by invitation only.
Very noisy, outside cars with loud stereos and exhaust. Finally stopped around 3am. Window could be better insulated. Did not get much sleep. Floors were dirty, food crumbs, hair and sticky spots on the hard floors. Shower had hair and trash in it. Not sure how they have such high reviews!!
Safe convenient walk to the Alamodome. Facilities clean and well managed.
Very nice hotel. So convenient to concert at Alamodome. Safe and easy walk.
Great pace to stay when attending an event at the Alamodome. Clean, updated and the staff was awesome!
Super clean, friendly staff, friendly valet, very clean.
Staff at front desk was super nice and the detail in the room with the roses was awesome.
Na
We loved the updated decor and having access to an on-site coffee shop. We didn't spend much time in the hotel or surrounding area because we were visiting family in Alamo Heights and spent most of our days and evenings and would return to the hotel around 10am. The front desk staff was super nice and sweet and accommodated our room preference. Lots of partying outside the hotel on a Saturday (it's in St. Paul's Square), but honestly didn't hear it from our room on the 5th floor. The rooms are super spacious and beds are comfortable. They also have the best parking/valet rates compared to hotels right on the riverwalk. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay very much!
Great hotel, staff but too much street noise
Nice hotel
Aiden Review
The overall atmosphere was nice. Every employee we encountered was extremely nice. However when trying to watch playoff MLB games on TBS the channel wouldn’t come in. Someone came to try to fix it and was told due to the weather it wasn’t working. There was no bad weather. The noise from outside and other rooms was terrible. It was extremely loud and we were woken up several times due to noise.
Comfortable, impressionable stay
Was in town for the night and the Aiden was located near the venue I needed to get to. Check in went smoothly, and front desk was very pleasant. The room was clean, and offered a mini fridge and Kureig. Drybar toiletries were available in the bathroom should you be forgetting body wash, shampoo, or conditioner. Be aware that parking is valet only at an additional $30 charge. I had read about this before starting so it was not a surprise when I checked in. Valet was also very pleasant. Looking forward to my next stay.

Horse playing
Our neighbors from upstairs very loud. The kids were horse playing at 7:00 a.m. we were unable to get rest.
Great hotel!
Loved the hotel! It located in a great location, walking distance to a lot of attractions. On the weekend Common St. can be very busy at night. If you are a person who needs your rest it’s probably best to ask for a room opposite that street.
The Aiden hotel was so retro and cool. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious and the atmosphere amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to book another stay in the near future.
Great hotel, large rooms, fun decor.
Easy parking safe location walking distance to attraction.
Lovely facility with a a bar and a speakeasy bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was really spacious everything was cleaned.
Check in was slow, but it seemed as if a customer was checked out but never left. We were given their room and walked into an occupied room. They apologized and gave us another room with a leaky sink. We got free breakfast for our troubles. Other than that, the staff and atmosphere was awesome! Loved the feel
Everything was very walkable around the Aiden hotel, the staff is very helpful.
I loved everything but parking cost $30 a night. Beautiful property so clean.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very convenient place for easy access to highway and other attractions. I definitely would recommend this hotel for a very comfortable stay.
Absolutely amazing!
I absolutely love the aesthetics of the hotel it’s absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect , and the hidden gem take it over the top, the hide away speak ez , the drinks from the bar and the live jazz just was awesome.

Dirty hotel.
Unfortunately as I guest I had to buy items to clean the restroom. It’s very uncomfortable to pay $700 for 3days and for the restroom not to be clean the first day you arrive to the room. Will not be going back.
