Very comfortable stay. We spent 6 nights at the Lodge over Christmas and had a great time, exploring Manyara National Park and the local area. Lovely to have wildlife in the camp, wondering around. Lovely swimming pool, great food and very, very helpful staff; we were looked after very well.
Closed to the nature and staff fulfill your wishes and requests perfect :) We were completely satisfied.
We were so pleased with our first stay that we decided to come back through the same way and stay another night. Wonderful staff, comfortable room, nice pool/property environment. When we were very far away from home, or anything close to it, they made it feel like home <3
Lake manyara with the family
Overall a nice place to stay its a well organised campsite with permanent tent which ard pretty big and allow for a family to stay together and with space barhroom is generous and spacious . Showers cpudl be al itlte more powerful but did the job .Beds nice but hard and i would say needed a fan in the room . We were happy with stay there and with the service was hood . Breakfast was nice and filling and we enjoyed our stay. Be nice to have a clear sogn in road for turn off .
Wow nature
Great place with wonderful service. Food was excellent. Lake is flooded right now so the lake is right on the property. No need to drive to see lake manyara, it is on your doorstep. We had a tent with a view of a field where the zebras are at night. Great experience with monkeys right on the property. Much better than their Selous property. The staff here are excellent and welcoming.
Excellent place, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Tents are specious, clean, with electricity and hot shower, better than most of hotels in area. Highly recommended, I felt very safe as they have Maasai guarding the area. Food was great! Truly glamorous camping. You get the true vibe if you pair it up with safari.
I don't recommend to anyone
Firstly I would appreciate the efforts put in by manager william for our requests. Accommodation: Pros: Beds and space is very adequate and comfortable Cons: During our stay for two nights we have experienced power cuts amd no hot water, especially during power cuts there is no water supply at all. Food: Cons: Not good variety or taste, infact I found a bug in the chicken kept in picnic box for safari. They even keep previous night food for next day lunch picnic boxes. Service: Cons: Service is not par to a good quality lodging. Location: Cons: Difficult to find it as no proper signboards to navigate, and two many mosquitoes ready to eat while you sit for dinner.
Very nice location friendly staff. Clean and new pool bar
Very far from "glamping" and a place best avoided
This place is anything but "glamping". Simple things were completely messed up (eg. lunch boxes for vegetarians contained non-veg food....), the food options were very limited, everything took time and great effort (and remained largely un-resolved)...…. Throughout our 3 night stay, we had no hot water in our room - and the hotel did nothing much to try to resolve this. The place could not even provide kettles for coffee/tea in the room (kettle supposedly not available). The height was when one of our group members needed a first aid kit due to a thorn pricking his foot. The staff insisted that he walks to the reception (300 m)…… where the one and only First Aid Box on the property was located! And after walking/hobbling to reception, the First Aid Box is found to have very minimal contents and is missing the most basic medications/bandages!! The list of our poor experiences could go on and on - suffice to say this place is nothing like "glamping", is pricey and not at all worth the money.
Everything was great. They can improve the hot water in the bath which was missing. Otherwise a wonderful place.
Beautiful tent hotel
Beautiful location, clean tents, comfortable beds. Washroom and shower room are public, but very clean. Staff were very friendly, always willing to offer extra help. Lovely place!
Excellent Accommodation
Africa Safari Glamping exceeded my expectations. The staff provided a warm welcome and introduction to the property, followed by delicious meals and a relaxed atmosphere. The entire property was maintained well, and common areas were spotlessly clean. This was a delightful experience, and I would gladly stay here again.
Friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. Real value for money
Manyara Glamping Safari is a serene glamping experience after the long day of a game drive. Driving through a vegetable garden by the entrance up to a friendly reception, the owners aim to have the property to be as self-sufficient as possible. Check in was easy with the Expedia booking, and we were given a short briefing before the porters helped us bring our bags to the room. Staff were friendly and polite, from the reception to the kitchen staff to the porters. Each room was made out of tent material, ours had a living room and three bedrooms. There was a small kitchen and sink in the living room, as well as shelves for storage. The windows were covered with netting, and a secondary canvas cover, and it could get a bit stuffy depending on the weather. There was no fan. Plugs were European plugs instead of local plugs, so make sure to bring an adapter. Each bedroom was compact, enough to fit the beds and a cupboard. Beds were comfortable with firm mattresses and soft pillows, each one with mosquito netting. WiFi was only available at the bar. Dinner was buffet style, delicious halal meat and vegetables (apparently grown from the garden), and an amazing pineapple cake dessert (I would have gone for seconds if it wasn't limited). There was hot breakfast as well as cereal. As with many African accommodation, full board does not include drinks, and water or juice at the restaurant is charged for. Great view of the sunrise from the trees, and you can hear the call to praye
Close to the national parks, staying in a luxurious tent was a great experience. Morning view was with little monkeys in the trees and view to Lake Manyara. Staff very nice, welcoming, helpful. Nightwatch is present. Tourguides Jeremy & Mollel are very pleasant open-minded kind young guys. Lovely people! Food was good and plenty of.
The hotel was super comfortable. Staff were super nice and food was very good. Importantly, the quality of our stay was high and at the same time it was not expensive. Overall, we will certainly recommend you to stay a couple of days in this lodge on your way to Serengeti.

What an amazing experience! Sleeping quarters for 5 people were right but the price was right and space didn’t matter when waking up to zebras, wildebeests and monkeys in your front yard! Food was great, drinks were great, and staff was lovely. I saw some people complaint about hot water but it’s Africa! What do you expect?!! A cold shower was nothing to complain about when all that wildlife is passing through your camp!
