The resort was beautiful but the staff had very bad attitude.

It’s a beautiful place. Majority of the staff were great. A few of them here and there weren’t very pleasant. A big issue is there isn’t nearly enough chairs at the beach or the pools. People try to reserve them and keep them the entire day by putting their stuff on them and just claiming them until they leave for the day. The food was good at the restaurants. The room service food was decent too. The buffet though was disgusting. So if you don’t happen to get a reservation at one of the restaurants your meal will not be good at all that night. The bartenders take care of you and can make almost anything you ask for, and strong Many of the public bathrooms were pretty gross. Overall it was decent. Idk if it left me wanting to go back though

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like absolute princesses. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was nothing short of spectacular. The first day the room was cold. I notified the front desk and within an hour there were two men there to fix it. I also received a text message from the resort asking if my issue has been resolved and I received a note for a complimentary spa treatment for each of us and a bottle of rum. The food was incredible and so many options. Shows at night, an English pub, sports bar, water park, coffee shop, several bars throughout the resort, free room service, a HUGE fully equipped fitness center, arcade/bowling alley, teen activities center, kids babysitting club, adults only pool…those are just some of the amenities. Many people I’ve spoken with have said this is by far the best resort they’ve been to in DR and anywhere else in the world and out of the four I’ve been to this takes the cake. I am already planning my next trip back.

This hotel was amazing! Whether you wanted to party or relax they had a place to do either! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff always made sure you were taken care of and having a good time!

Pro: Infinity pool and the quality/variety options of food & drinks were great. Con: Size of resort is overwhelmingly big/confusing. Resources (shops, gym, bars) were a long walk out of the way.

Beautiful, modern resort. Very clean. Large rooms. Room not cleaned twice except when asked. Swimming area too small due to way too much boat activity. A lot of vendors on beach. We overpaid for an excursion. Don’t book with Renee. Security ignores it. Towels not always available. More signage needed. Pools close at 6 so too early. Coffee station needed 24 hrs but closes when buffet closes.

Terrible experience definitely not a 5 star resort. Ever since we walked in it was one thing after another. Our room was dirty on arrival, they then took over 2 hours to re accommodate us and kept giving us trouble. Staff was not friendly at all. Food was not the best compared to other resorts I’ve stayed at in Dominican Republic, room service never got our orders right and the last time we ordered THE GUY WHO DELIVERED STOLE MY WALLET FROM MY ROOM. Public relations is taking their sweet time to find their own staff member to investigate him.

We booked Adults only in a swim up room. One day, 2 different families were in the Adults Only Section of the beach with children as young as 2. Crying, squeeky toys, and parents that refused to move. Security spoke with them on several occasions and they didnt move. Management did nothing. Many adults were upset, as we all paid for Adults only. One room had an infant that faced the Adult Only pool that was crying. Too much mixing and because of this, we will not return. Plus the ocean water was terribly small.

Lopesan is fantastic, it's by far the best resort I've stayed in. Quiet of you want quiet and party if you want that. It's big enough you can have the experience you like. The highlight for me was the gym. It's stunning, clean, full of machinery and was definitely a popular place on the resort.

Excellent all-inclusive resort with great dining opportunities. Staff service was fantastic, always there to help. Beautiful design of buildings and landscaping.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful. My only observation/complain is, I stayed at all adult section. And unfortunately, there were children running around everywhere. So obviously they don’t have that under control. And that is the only negative thing. Not that I don’t like children. But I spend extra money to Stay in all adults area. And that is unfortunate because like I said the resort is absolutely beautiful but for that reason, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Their property is a complete scam. It’s not an adults only and far away from what advertise.

Resort is very clean, food was not that good. Reservations for the restaurants were full . We had to talk to one manager she didn’t even wanted to talk to us and hear our complaints. She booked us for the french restaurant food was not good at all. Staff are very rude. We checked in and the guy was very dry, 0 communication. He gave us cards that we were supposed to use for towels he didn’t say anything about that. Stayed quiet the whole time we were sitting until we started asking him questions about the resort. I will not recommend this resort to any of my family and friends.

Was great experience in Punta Cana. But the service was not perfect. I went french restaurant and the servers were so nice but the man who receive the menu was bit rude. I didn’t say the menu complete but he cut my word even he forgot my dessert. Also, the taste bit weird. And when I go out, i had to pay 25 bucks forcibly. But the server in buffet and el asado was so nice.

Please remove the name Adults Only. Because definitely. Not for adults.

This property does not have 5star qualities. They never gave us our wine the liquor had an aftertaste the food was not the best and the staff do not speak English. The house cleaning did not change out our towels and did our bed. It was a mess. I would not stay at this property again

The staffs are not bilingual

ALL pools close at 6:30PM including the adults only. Lots of families, low participants of activities in the resort. Beach is small but nice. Would recommend adults only for less kids. Drinks and service was very good. Place was very clean, put up a happy birthday banner with free hydrotherapy without us asking. Overall we would come back, staff and resort were amazing, not a party resort but very close to other clubs so it was a good balance.

This property was more than we expected it to be. The restaurant and food buffet options were great (for it being a buffet). Mostly all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Some even went above and beyond to accommodate us. Can’t say enough great things about the woman who cleaned our room everyday. She was awesome, although we didn’t get her name. The resort itself had so much to do. Literally something for everyone. We aren’t usually resort people but we just wanted to relax this vacation and this was the perfect place to do so. The pools were great, and the beach access was nice. Overall we had an amazing stay here. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for an all inclusive with great amenities. We’ll be back.

Expedia listed this property as 5* and it’s not. The beach was horrible, unless you like the smell of gasoline. Looked more like a marina with lots of the boats all over. Lastly, if you are sensitive to mold stay away from this hotel. Seems like the a/c system is contaminated. I tried several rooms with the same result.

This review is quite lengthy but detailed. This trip is NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. They fail to mention there is no shuttle and you must pay for it. By Expedia standards that’s what it states is the definition of all inclusive. Anytime it rains the roof and walls were literally falling off. The staff hit on you and cat call you. There were roaches. My friend got acute GI and was sent to the hospital overnight. Which happens. However, when I went to tell staff which restaurant (the hibachi one) they were so rude and attempted to stop me from putting in a complaint. They clearly have no care for the health of their guests because my goal was to obviously find the issue so no one else winds up in the hospital overnight. They didn’t attempt to follow up even with my formal complaint or to check in with my friend. There is also terrible smell of mold so don’t bring clothes you absolutely love or it bleeds into the clothing. I’m just shocked being that this is a 5 star. I was rendered speechless. This also says that it’s ADULT ONLY. There were kids everywhere. They had the nicest sections of the resort and even in the adult only sections parents would bring their kids. Everything about this resort is completely embellished. The front lobby has the wow factor to cover the rest. The front lobby never answered the phone when we were stranded in the airport for over an hour. It would either never ring and the call would drop or they wouldn’t pick up. Just be careful.

The property was wonderful. I really enjoyed the staff for most areas. Check-in was a little slow, but overall I was content. The best part was the food selections in the restaurants such as La Bohemia and the Mexican restaurant. The spa was wonderful. The views were great. The only thing I would recommend is, if you’re gonna advertise adults, only you need to ensure that children are separated in the adults only areas.

All the pool was cold and when was raining no umbrellas and the cleaning lady didn’t clean the rooms until 4:30 that was very late

The property is really beautiful. I would say it or more of a lovers and family location. The food was good. Bedroom was amazing. Drink are the same options all day and they are okay too. Def great for a bae cation of family trip.

The property was amazing. It was clean and the staff were very accommodating. The only downside was their food. Nothing tasted like it was made to order. The food didn’t taste good-lacking flavor and most of the time were served cold.

To begin, the rooms are clean and the resort is beautiful. However, there are a lot of issues that need serious improvement. Upon check-in we upgraded to the Unique package and had problems opening our room with the bracelet multiple times, after several trips back to the front desk we were finally able to get it fixed. When asking to speak to our butler we were told we didn’t have one after paying $600 to upgrade, we ran into a gentlemen later who ask to be our butler? It was very odd and very unorganized. My husband also got food poisoning from an undercooked burger at the Unique buffet. Our upgrade was a waste of money. We also booked a couples massage and upon entering the room no one had turned the air on and it was sweltering hot. Once again, very unorganized. There are excursion boats everywhere on the beach playing extremely loud music. It wasn’t relaxing at all. I’m usually happy at any beach location, but I wouldn’t recommend this resort.

The property was amazing. Expedia said this VIP selection although when we got there. They said they was nothing extra from booking with Expedia. So I don’t know now if I over paid. I would go back again and stay longer. To fully take in the property and experience.

Loved this resort! I had a swim up king room and it was a DREAM. So luxurious. The resort’s beach is stunning and the buffets were so yummy. I loved the staff as well. My only complaint was that I was promised an amenity for my birthday and the staff dragged their feet when it came to providing it. Definitely recommend this resort though!

It was easy to travel throughout the property, very professional and friendly staff, vibes and energy amazing, the white sand beaches were iconic, if I have to say the only reason I dropped a star is because the view was obstructed by all the boats all day, if they were docked to a side, the view from Lopesan would be breathtaking!

There is no swim up bar. The food is not good. They only have one restaurant open between the hours of 11-12:30pm. No food by the pool and there are def kids around. The beach was nice but they have all these boats the obscure the beautiful views. Sorry but would not return.

This is the first ever all inclusive property that we would actually visit a second time. Absolutely loved this place. The food was great, the gym was amazing, and the beach was beautiful.

They are really good, very clean, amazing food. The restaurants like the Gondola and The azador were excellent. But... 1. The free bottle of wine, they didnt give to us. (and we asked for it) 2.The refrigerator in the room didnt work. (and yes we told them that too.) The beers and waters were hot, not even cool :( Room service is really good. Drinks are excellent. Staff is great, very friendly. Especially from La Perla bar. Domingo Familia and the other girl(she's pregnant ) were amazing. In general its a great hotel 9.5/10. I will come back :)

The check in was smooth and easy. The resort is very very nice with a lot of amenities. It had many pools and restaurants for your liking. The resort lobby and many areas have fans only and sometimes it was hot. The food to me made this resort a go to again place. It had a casino, sports bar, club, cigar store, theater and many more things to do for everyone.

The area was beautiful. A lot of staff was nice but there were some that were not. The food was good at the Asian restaurant but not great at the other places. I would recommend here but just one time only. It was better than a lot of the other resorts I see.

Coming from a person who has been to many many resorts in Punta Cana, I will say this was by far the most terrible experience. The hotel is beautiful and very aesthetic. However, the staff is HORRIBLE and I mean that. Everyone was so rude for absolutely no reason, specially at the bar. My husband and I have spent hundreds of dollars tipping resort staff in the past, but not this one because of the horrible customer service being offered. Administration should look into this as this isn’t a cheap resort and you expect friendly staff for the amount of money you are paying. This is my first ever review on a property because I believe it just had to be done. I don’t recommend this resort to anyone!

Beautiful Resort! Every corner you turn is another photo opportunity! Food is Great! Drinks are a plenty! Staff is awesome! Check in process needs a little work. Or maybe it was just for Expedia Guest. Download the app and make sure to make reservations at the Restaurants! My personal Favorite was El Asador, Best view on the Resort and steaks were amazing! We had a Swim up King Suite in the Adults Only Section. Quiet and Peaceful throughout! The Adults Only pool and bar were Great! But the water in the pool is pretty warm. The Beach was pretty but lots of seaweed everywhere. Plenty of lounge chairs all around the beach tho! Highly recommend this Resort!

Only thing I wished was better was the food.

The hotel is beautiful, but unfortunately thats all it has. The food is barely edible, The entertainment is lackluster and the customer service is non existent. I spent two days out thr hotel from 8am to 4pm, for me to get back to my room not cleaned. each time i had to call and then it would take minimum 45 minutes. The entertainment us boring and more like a talent show lacking the talent. The haggling on thr beach by vendors are annoying. The drinks are terrible. Waste of money

The grounds are nice , the drinks and food are good .the rooms are ok , service is good but limited cause there’s always big groups of people and I understand it’s hard to keep everyone happy . Overall if you in a group or family I think it’s good . One or two people traveling it’s a big NO

This property was amazing!! Second time coming in a period of 4 months. Food is amazing staff is pretty good. Love the balconies. The adult only side gives you access to an all adult pool with a bar.

Nice location and facilities

Resort is beautiful and clean my really only complaints was… I wish there were more snacks available during the day. If you didn’t eat during the designated hours you didn’t eat. Room service was 24hr, but was limited and honestly not very good. My other complaint was that both me and my husband don’t drink and we were served alcohol a few times. After tell the service that we want a drink alcohol free. Other than that it was a nice relaxing stay.

The property is beautiful.their choice in the beer they serve is horrible. Their main beer is from some company in Punta Cana and it was not good!!! Room service does not deliver beer!! The casino was more like a funeral home!!! The variety of food in the buffet never hot, selection was very narrow. Would have been nice to have a burger or wings for lunch.

I am not sure how this property is rated so high, let me start with what we liked , the beach ! Although there was seaweed it was still enjoyable . Did not like all the boats lined up off the beach The common areas of the hotel are nice , but there is hardly to no AC so it hard to sit and enjoy a drink at the bar especially if your dressed for dinner . Gym, Irish pub and coffee bar are nice Best food and service was Inari Japanese 3.5 star Italian restaurant 0 food was terrible Asador steak house wasn’t the worst steak I had 3 star French restaurant 2 star Pool buffet was not bad Pool and room towels are old a cruddy they look stained and dirty, the room was big but the furniture was cheap looking had AC set to 64 F it felt like 78 The people overall are nice and helpful I was overall disappointed I will not be visiting another Lopesan property again . The big travel websites need to do a better job vetting properties and reviews one had said the property had 40k reviews and rated 4.8 not even close this is generous 3.5 at best

It's all a lie, it's not just for adults, it's a good structure, but it's bankrupt, at here in Punta Cana.

I had a nice experience at this hotel, I upgraded my reservation to VIP Unique and it was the best decision, the food was exquisite, the service was excellent, the facilities were very comfortable, I recommend it.
