Would not stay here again
Convenient location. Uncomfortable room, noisy, dirty vents, air con control light stays on all night.
Great location. Lots of dining options, easy to catch a ferry to Circular Quay or trains. Very walkable area. Rooms were well appointed, very clean and accessible.
Location
The property could use a bit of a refresh. The carpets well worn and daggy. Great location and great service.
Room we had was in poor condition and much equipment missing. No toaster ,no tongs , no dishwashing liquid , no garbage bags , no sink plugs. Whilst most of these were fixed when pointed out , considering we were paying $475 a night for a single bedroom apartment , these matters should not have occurred. Note outside the apartment the roof gutters are blocked with rubbish which caused the balcony to flood and our apartment was then flooded. We were relocated to a room without a view , which we has paid for.
Location on darling Harbour was excellent. Sound proofing worked. Parking easy. Staff were very helpful and let us check in early. Checkout was 11am which is great!
Convenient spot
Good apartment, convenient spot for darling harbour. All amenities that we needed. Excellent cafe nearby
In our first room was a terrible noise at night, the second room had a broken bathtube , very dangerous to stand in. absolutely unaxeptebal
Not what we expected
Good location, but was supposed to be city view, There was no view. Fridge still had old food in it from previous tenants.
It was all good except the parking was very expensive
Great Location but a bit run down
The location was great and the staff member that served me was wonderful. However the property is quite run down in places such as the roof above the pool and the pool itself, sauna was broken. We had a two bedroom interconnected room which were fine with nice views but again, alittle run down- with a broken door on the fridge and some fruit still spilled on the carpet from the guest before.
Property was not clean and had a strong odour.
Customer service is good. But the facility in room is average.
Location Location is the stand out… Pool area needs a revamp but in general very happy with room and staff
Our 2 nights stay was fantastic staff were excellent will be back again
EXCELLENT location. The room was tired and the bed was very uncomfortable but the staff were lovely and the room was clean. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to everything you need to do and see. Loved our stay.
Very convenient to everything in Sydney
Adina hotel is an apartment building turned into a hotel. PRONS: It located in excellent Neiborhood- Darling Harbour of the best. (in my opinion is the best) Neiborhood in Sydney. so close to everything ! The room was spacious, and we had a balcony overlooked the part of a harbor, CONS:--outdated - screaming for a renovation.
Location is always convenient parking is easy to find the pool is good everything you need we stayed two weeks ago for a Christmas party and you couldn’t fault that room it was on the 6th floor overlooking the harbour this time we were on the 1st floor in the corner with no view that room could do with a bit of a makeover wasn’t as neat as the room on the 6th floor this room was older one of the lamp shades had mouldy stains on the light shade the tv in the bedroom didn’t work as it was a Phillips tv with a Samsung remote control the tv in the lounge room would only turn on and off by the wall there was no non-slip mat for the bath it’s quiet high to get in and out of and very easy to slip check in time was 3pm and we didn't get a key until 3:15 as the room wasn't ready we will always come back because of the location but it couldn't do with some maintenance
We had top quality views of Darling Harbour, very quiet indoors. The room had everything we needed.
Yet older property, property had everything that we needed. Such as washer/dryer and kitchen. The hotel was within walking distance of everything.
A nice relaxing stay. Conveniently located and close walking or public transport links. A few maintenance issues in bathroom- ceiling, toilet roll holder, bath etc. but overall a very peaceful and comfortable stay.
Great stuff, service and location is excellent 👍
Need an update
Great location, but way overdue for a revamp
Rooms are in need of a complete upgrade. Furniture , carpets and curtains are showing their age.
Nice view, reasonable price
Overall a good experience. Beds were comfortable and pillows soft and fluffy. Nice view, but it would have been good to have a specific view photo on the website before we booked rather than a generic one. Reception has friendly and approachable staff, however, getting any services to your room was terrible. I had to call reception multiple times to follow up 2 requests, one of which was never fulfilled. Besides that we had an enjoyable stay. Bedrooms have double sliding doors to block out noise, which was great.
Handy for Darling Harbour
Amazing view from our room and loved the space and the terrace. You couldn’t use the air conditioning on the top floor as it had a terrible musty smell. When you walked into the hallway the smell was very bad. More so after it rained. My 86 year old mother couldn’t have a shower for the 5 days as you have to climb into a very high bath to get to the shower. All the taps in the room were broken and hard to use. The rubbish bin kept falling out of the cupboard.
Great place to stay, nice and clean and close to all amenities ! Only downfall is parking is limited and prebooked with your registration number which makes it very hard if your getting a rental car (and you don’t know the rego)
Like saying at this place however, I put the washing machine on and it overflowed and then we had to change rooms with no assistance from the staff.
This property is in a prime spot and the amenities and staff are first class. The ease of getting around the city from this location is brilliant and with the options made at your doorstep (King Street Wharf), it is a 10 out of 10 as a place to stay. Room 110 has an enormous balcony and the view of Darling Harbour especially at night is one not to miss. The only small issues with our particular stay is that in the hallways and entrances, it smells of dampness and the carpets may be overdue to be replaced and the carpark scanners are not exactly easy to use unless you get out of your car or have inspector gadget with you but otherwise a brilliant place and we will be back to stay again soon.
Nice
Hotel is dirty.
What a great place this is to stay in. Close to cafes and transport. Rooms were super clean and staff were lovely and friendly nothing was too much for them.
We had stayed at the property previously last year and found it a great stay. Perfect location, reasonably priced. Room was spacious and clean. This time we were a little disappointed. Given we’d stayed before assumed our details would be on file and would earn a bit of a nod to a perk. We booked with relatives same surname- they were given a bigger room- there was no milk for tea/coffee, had to ask and only had 4 hangers in wardrobe (2 people for a 5 night stay) 3 days in had to ask for room to be cleaned and fresh towels- they only made the beds and changed the towels- bathroom floor didn’t get swept/ vacuumed. It’s such a small space wouldn’t have taken too much extra time. Was disappointed with our stay because of this. Still a convenient location and staff are good.
It was fair
I liked the space of an apartment Darling Harbour has great eateries but sometimes simple is better and this is offered with a Kitchenette. Location only one step to King St Getty. A gateway to Sydney ferries, Yes you can pay $150/head for tour ferry or enjoy the ride to Manly and back for $20. So much fun. Bed good, desk and lounge also good. balcony a plus. Best value at Darling Harbour.
This property was in a great location and the staff were very nice . The apartment was a good size the only negative was the shower inside the bath.I found this difficult for older people such as ourselves and my wife slipper getting out luckily she was ok. I would stay again but only of the bathroom had a different configuration
Very conveniently situated, close to Wynyard Station.
The location is great for access to Darling Harbour activities and attractions; and close to CBD.
Good hotel to stay at.
Hotel was close to sea world, city zoo, bars and restaurants. Rooms where clean, spaceous with all amenities.
Great location and staff very friendly and helpful. Room however was somewhat grubby. Stains on the carpet and mould on the blinds.
Great place to stay....all the staff are awesome and helpful/friendly/professional .. room itself is abit dated and needs a good deep clean but was still good to stay in ..beds and pillows very comfy ... one thing i will say is there is absolutely no smoking allowed..even though we had a balcony it still wasn't allowed so we had to go into the street to smoke ( yes not a big deal in the scheme of things and wouldn't put me off staying again but thought it worth a mention for the smokers out there/including vapes) but the staff make up for any negatives ..they are wonderful including the hard working cleaners!
Great apartement, had everything that you need, and brilliant location, can highly recommend
Great location in Darling Harbour. Perfect view for the Saturday night fireworks from our balcony!
Great position
Nice
Staff were unaccommadating. They made me feel like i was incapable. They made me feel disabled
Great accommodation in a perfect location. Easy to walk to and from and wonderful views. Will be back
The spaciousness of this apartment was great!
Lovely staff. Central location.
Needs updating
Didn’t have rooms together, tea and coffee facilities were not refilled at all, shower was mouldy in corner
My stay was amazing. It was me and my husband’s anniversary and I was treated really well and given wine, chocolate and a lovely card congratulating us. It was very sweet and I got a room upgrade which was really nice. Service and room were great. Thank you for giving me an amazing experience with my husband.
Good location for work and the car park was a bonus
Great place to stay when going to shows, lots of dining options, easy to park, room spacios and clean and bed very comfy.
Great location, easy to get to for Sydney and onsite parking at a reasonable price.
Great location at Darling Harbour. Within easy walking of CBD and places of interest including Circular Quay and The Rocks, Hyde Park, Museums and transport hubs.
Great location, convenient, clean and quiet
Great location
The hotel's location is located close to some good restaurants and the Maritime Museum. It is very close to catch the ferry to get to other sites such as The Opera House. The rug was a bit stained and gave a bit of an uncleanliness feel to the room. We had asked for fresh towels and were only given one, which could have been a misunderstanding. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful especially when we had an issue with our washing machine. Our washing machine started flooding onto the floor into the living room area but the manager quickly got us into an upgraded room so in that respect there was good customer service. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt the hotel was very secure and felt safe. There are a few convenience stores nearby so you can grab some snacks or other necessities. We loved our upgraded room and view of the Darling Harbour.
Spent 2 nights at the Adina. The location is brilliant with an easy walk to the harbour and restaurants as well as Wynard station. The room was clean however there were some bits and pieces down the sides of the lounge cushions which would indicate they are not taken off to clean the lounge. The carpet was lifting but wasn’t a big issue and the bathroom needs a renovation but was clean. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable for what we like.
Spacious accomodation, good location, good parking
Lovely staff, very friendly
I love Adina Apartments and this one is in the most perfect spot for anything that you would like to do around Darling Harbour and the City. However, it does need some renovations in the rooms, my room the power points next to the wall were coming away, the tv didn't work properly and the outtake and air vent in bathrooms were awfully dirty and I mean dirty, the dishwasher desperately needed a clean and there wasn't a coffee pod machine which was very frustrating as it's nice to have a coffee before venturing out for the day. My daughters room next door, her fidge froze everything even though it was turned down to a 2, and she had some trouble with her lights when entering her room. It is a great place to stay but renovations would make this so much better. We have stayed in Adina Apartments in Europe so I was expecting the same here but it is definitely different, even the quality of the crockery and cutlery were very poor to be honest. But overall it is a good place to stay and I would absolutely go back and stay there again, just hope the cleaning improves.
Easy access to King St wharf and Darling Harbour areas
The customer service was poor. Getting in and out the property with parking was hard because they’d never answer the intercom. The room was dirty and very old the only good thing about it was the shower had good pressure. I requested a good room with a view and table with two chairs on the patio. Got two chairs and a room with another apartment view right in front of me. When id call the front desk I got attitude rather then help. I’m not a confrontational person and am not rude or unkind so when i received that service it threw me.
Good Getaway
Very comfortable one bedroom apartment that had everything we needed. Plenty of room for two and well serviced. Great ovation for visiting Darling Harbour and not far to walk to the heart of the city.
Grear for families. Location, location, location.
Good value for money
Clean, well located and not expensive when compared to other places in Sydney
Everything was great in the room except for the tv’s .The tvs were so small and so old .they weren’t smart tvs and not even hd.When ur paying good money for these rooms u expect a bit better
Right on Darling Harbour and walking distance to other areas. Large rooms . Quiet. Would definitely recommend
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The double glazing on the sliding doors were excellent at reducing the road noise considering the Harbour location. The kitchen was functional but the furniture was looking a bit tired. Staff were superb
The only good thing is location
Way better places to stay. Poor service despite plenty of staff floating around.. room dirty, smelt and construction not advised before stay was asked to keep curtain closed so no light in room. I did pull curtain back but not much to see anyway. Hotel didn’t seem to like that I didn’t book direct, instead booking via Expedia. Sydney has lots of great hotels I would return to before coming here.
Loved the closeness to king st wharf and restaurants as well as the imax theatre and ICC. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue I had was that it would cost $30 to have an hour extra late check out. I knew that was not something the staff could do anything about because it was hotel policy.
Great location, tired decor.
Large apartment in great location. Very tired decor. Stains on carpet and rips in sofa. King bed was just two singles pushed together.
Great hotel & location. Lovely spacious suite with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Polite & friendly staff
Positives: Very welcoming and helpful front desk staff New manager was very understanding and tried to rectify cleanliness and operational issues swiftly (as far as it was possible for him) Great location Challenges: Very tired rooms (carpets stained, marks all over walls, couches stained and ripped) Apartment lacked cleanliness (kitchen, living room) Daily service and replenishment of condiments did not occur It felt the place was significantly under-staffed in a time of holiday travel/public holidays
Convenience and room was good size
Fantastic facility. Clean, Friendly and perfect position
Very good
We had a fire alarm at 3.30am one night of our stay. The fire exit sinage is not clear, leaving us stuck and locked in the stairwell until we looked around for the exit through a basement. We where not greeted by any staff. No fire warden. Not even someone at the exit point to direct or meet patrons. We met in the foyer and were just told to go back to our rooms in over a speaker. The night manager or staff shoulf have met us and reassured us before we returned to our rooms. All the guests could talk about the next day was that we were lucky this was either a small fire or not one at all (we were never advised) as there would most certainly have been casualties. The Adina's fire plan and lack of communication in an emergency is completely below basic standards. I advise you make your own exit plan so you can be assured safety in case you need to evacate the property in an emergency. Unfortunately, the parts of the accommodation I enjoyed and would have recommended were over shadowed by the events during the emergency evacuation.
Good location but the room was very average and falling apart, the curtin rod fell off and smashed me in the eye, the dryer didn’t work, balcony door didn’t lock, the lost goes on. Will not be returning. The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Such a shame to waste a birthday weekend
The Location is perfect , best tip get a balcony with a view
An excellent place to stay! Staff both efficient and friendly; the apartment block’s location close to amenities for a most enjoyable holiday! Highly recommended!!!
Everything close by
Disgustingly dirty!
It was the dirtiest most run down place I’ve ever stayed at. The cabinet doors were falling off. The carpet and floors were disgustingly dirty.
Room smelt dreadful, blocked drains? complained but no action taken . Room was tired and very grubby in places, wardrobe especially . Lovely view from balcony but table, chairs and floor were filthy. Was misled by information on laundry facilities and none were available. Convenient position for sight seeing.
The location of the property was excellent. So close to Darling Harbour, parks and ferries to Circular Quay with so many restaurants to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The size of the apartment was great and the views were wonderful.
Loved the spacious apartment. The view was fabulous. Love the washer drier in the room. Invaluable when travelling. Staff really helpful. Just a few steps away from plenty of super restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend. Also stayed in the Adina in Brisbane. Equally impressive.
The staff were helpful and walking distance from lots of places to eat
Locatio, locatio.
Super location. Room needs a but updating. Terrible tv, needs more dishes, small room. Two fire alarms when we were there one at 5:30am. Need signage in the stairwell to let people know to keep going to basement exit
Please think twice about booking this property. I booked on 30 Nov 23 and explained we were travelling with my 83 year old mother and needed interconnecting rooms. I chased this request on numerous occasions and was given the run around. When we arrived on 4th March we were told that the hotel did not have interconnecting rooms which was a total lie and the best they could do was two rooms in the same corridor but by no means adjacent or interconnecting. The girl who checked us in could not have been more dis-interested in helping us if she had tried. When we saw the rooms we had to request a roll away bed so my mother could stay in our room and they had the cheek to try and charge us for it. Both rooms they gave us had a shower over the bath, and the bath was so high, my mother was unable to get into it, so she was unable to shower for the duration of our stay, there were also no safety handles. One of the rooms had a huge hole in the wall which had been patched up and not even painted. The mirror in the hall way was completly broken and had been taped up with blue masking tape, which was incredibly dangerous. Only positive was the location. Trip was completely ruined. If this is the best you can do to assist elderly guests you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Location, location.
Location, location, location! Just a very dhort walk down to Darling Harbour. Rolm was ok. Small with a very limited tv service.
View from room was great
Clean and decent size. Quiet considering next to major road. Great place to stay.
Location is great
Close to darling harbour at good price.
Very good location. Next to Wild Life and Sea Life.
