The desk hosts were distant in demeanor and came around snooty and uppity right up until I addressed this. Staff members are engaged in collusion to extort guests and drivers used by Accra, the primary goal is to beat guests out of money, and there is nothing (entertainment) to do after 11pm,

They did not provide wash cloths or for the ladies- may miss the lack of a shower cap. They are real stingy with the toilet paper rolls that have very little paper per roll. One roll left and I have to call and ask for another because housekeeping does not leave any extra. You could potentially use a whole roll and not yet be clean…you get my point. My iron went bad and I had to reach out multiple times to multiple people to get a new one. The AC worked good, the place was nice and cool. You can’t stream anything to the tv without paying an additional crumb-snatching fee for data to the tv. The kitchen and living room was only part where you could get a reliable signal

The closeness of amenities such as grocery store, pharmacy, bank & restaurant but most of all the caring and attentive staff

I love this place. I felt so safe. The place was also clean.

The property itself is nice but this is not a regular hotel or apartment. It is ran by agents who do not communicate and wouldn't check you and you never hear from them afterwards so much so we didn't even know where to leave our keys after we checked out.We booked our airport drop off(which was to be included free)and the transportation never showed up.We left very early in the morning and we had to use regular taxis that costed us much more than we expected.I stayed in 2022 and was hoping it was a one time thing but again stayed this year and also took some family boy was I wrong and unfortunately this experience was even worse. We would never stay again and would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Air conditioner was not working properly . Bath Tub did not have a stopper.

Accra Luxury Apartments Cantonment was a real pleasure. The staff driver Chester was awesome, he texted via WhatsApp advising he was waiting for my arrival. A very impressive, safe and professional driver in the hectic traffic of Accra. The apartment location was central and access to the city via Uber was convenient and inexpensive. The market downstairs from the apartment had the necessary supplies for my stay. I was not impressed with the food at the Capitol Restaurant. The pool was clean and well maintained. The grounds were clean and nicely landscaped, though the old Putt Putt golf area should be addressed. The housekeepers were great, friendly, efficient and thorough. Security was always on hand and attentive. Had a great stay and would stay here again.

Customer service at its worst

My worst hotels.com experience for the past 10 years. This property sent me an email while I was travelling to Ghana which on the eve of my arrival informed they had an 'emergency' and could not lodge me. I only read the email when I landed in Accra. They claimed they would send someone at the airport to take me to another location. No phone number was given and I waited an hour at the airport expecting to see someone with my name on a banner. I made 8 calls to the phone number available on Hotels.com only to get the coordinates of the driver of the proposed alternative residence. Finally, I met him and he said my name was not on his list. When I arrived at the second location, I realized they were also overbooked. In the middle of the night, lost in Accra, I finally found a hotel to spend the night, vowing never to book at that place ever. Nor should you.

The apartment was nice and spacious. Not many dining options around.

We booked this hotel to stay at their Cantonments location. At 4:45 am while we were still in the air I was emailed to notify me that they were relocating me to a different but "equal" location. We were notified again about this by Godfred (who was very helpful. no complaints about him). We were then brought to the pine court apartments a hotel in an unsavory location without any of the amenities, (no breakfast, the pool was dirty, no gym, no chess set etc). We immediately brought up that 1. This hotel was vastly interior to our original accommodations, did not have the breakfast that i paid additionally for and wasn't even one of the 4 locations on their website. When we asked to be moved we were informed that we would have to stay at pune court for 2 days then we could be moved to their gardens location. (Which they wouldnt have moved us unless we demanded it). They said they would bring us breakfast the 2 days while we were at the pine court apartments. I will say the apartment was clean but it was not in a walkable are so we couldnt easily access the surrounding area. In the morning our breakfast options were 6 different sandwhiches and juices and they were out of the options we desired. When the sandwiches came, the bacon was raw and the lettuce was going bad. We were unable to eat any of it. Problems at the gardens: they didn't know we had breakfast, ac broke in one of our rooms, the bed was broken in our suite. We were happy to go home. Book somewhere else

The bed in the apartment I stayed in was terrible. It had a duvet in it from long periods of wear. It was hard and very uncomfortable. The furniture is old and not clean. The place needs a total update.

The area around the property was very convenient. Restaurants, stores, pharmacy. The rooms were spacious. The issue was the management. They made us change rooms over and over. They did not provide the rooms we reserved. They did not provide the promises that they made. I have stayed there 2 times and the exact same thing has happened. We don't have the rooms you reserved could you stay in a smaller situation and then charge you as much as $150 more. Bait and switch. Terrible.

This property is outstanding with well maintained yards, great pool and well maintained facilities. Room was very nice and its close to shopping, restaurants and groceries. Check in and check is not as smooth and it should be. I had to wait 15 minutes for the caretaker to arrive to check me in and out

The full kitchen and large living room made it great for us with the need to spend some downtime together. Also, there was a good restaurant, a lovely cafe within walking distance, and a grocery. The manager was very helpful with the changes we needed to make and he was available when we needed him. The grounds were very peaceful and the trees made it nice and shady. We will definitely be using this place again soon.

Very easy to get transportation

Don’t be fooled with this property being listed on Expedia and other major websites. It looked nice from the outside but booking is a risk. Each apartment is privately managed and when we went to check in the owner and/or property manager refused to give us our apartment even after a friend went days before our arrival to confirm the reservation. They wanted to put us in another apartment further away from that area (Achimota) which we refused. I’m assuming they didn’t want to honor the discounted rate we received on Expedia and I’m sure they gave our apartment to someone else for more money. They left me and my kids stranded with no place to stay after 24 exhausting hours of travel. Scammers!

I LOVED this hotel! It was clean, the hosts and staff were hospitable, the restaurant was delicious, the pool was warm, the gym was well-equipped and the yoga studio was a bonus! AND it was in walking distance to the W.E.B. Du Bois Museum! I would definitely stay here the next time when in Accra. The only sad part was we only stayed here one night!

Excellent place to stay. There was miscommunication with breakfast inclusive. The restaurant is private so if you booked breakfast included, Make sure you tell your host to communicate with the restaurant when you arrive at the hotel. This way you’ll know the max you can spend at breakfast. You’re responsible to pay anything above the max. Between, the breakfast is good but I would like the girls at restaurant to put a little smile on their face. They’ve a nice simple gym right above the restaurant and the pool.

Derrick was great about following up with us to make sure that everything was in order. The washing machine technician came and fixed it after it was making too much noise when spinning. He was very prompt. The location is perfect and the home amenities are nice.

The apartment is well cleaned and my host Chris was really helpful during my stay.

The property that I booked was not available due to an issue that required maintenence. I was alerted by Justice while in flight and was told another property (Embassy Gardens) was made available to me. I was familiar with this property from reviews via YouTube, so I was ok with the change. Upon arrival I was greeted by the host Solomon. He was very welcoming and helpful. The property is located in a nice residential area and close to several attractions, BUT you would need transport, very few places within walking distance. The outside of the property features various tropical plants throughout, giving it a garden-like feel. They also have a pool, fitness center and on-site cafe. The room I selected was a studio, but it was quite spacious; a modern-style kitchenette included. Housekeeping was done daily. Solomon, the host checked in with me daily, ensuring that all was well and I was enjoying my stay. I cannot think of anything I didn't like about this place. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would highly recommend this property.
