It was okay

The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff at the front desk also are very helpful. The actual Charles hope staff are not great at all. Bad communication. Difficult to get hold of. The hotel name is not Charles hope, it is the point. There is a laundry room and also a gym and cinema room which was nice. Bed very uncomfortable. Floor in room was dirty.

Great place and staff excellent

Property is in the perfect location and with in walking distance to everything. Apartments are cosy and have everything you need. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Nice property, great staff

The room was really warm and we could not get the air to work, and the only window would only open a few 7 cm.

Was lovely and clean, everything you needed and more. Town centre on your doorstep only down fall was no parking

Recommended

Main lift was ooo on arrival but reception staff personally escorted me to my room. The door wouldn’t lock but this was swiftly rectified. Apartment was compact but had everything I needed. Comms was via international text messaging that I was not happy to pay for. Lack of parking to drop off baggage was inconvenient. Regardless, I would stay here again and would recommend it.

Good location, walkable distance from bus and train stations. The room was clean and had facilities for cooking etc.

Fantastic building amenities. I had a great view and loved the space. It was great to have a gym and laundry. It was noisy at night because of the nightclubs close by. The building itself was very quiet. Communication with Charles hope was not very good. It took a while to get answers, if at all.

The check in is very strange. You do everything online but then have to do everything again when you get there. Also a guy takes you to the apparment which i think ks weird. Apart from that , the place is great. Great location, amazing little apartment with everything you need. The matress and pillows are AMAZING! Ill be back next time in Aberdeen

Business stay

On arrival to check in, I was told that I had an unconfirmed booking, even though I had completed the online check in process, the receptionist said I had to call a number and they could help me, calling the number I was passed between three departments, ending with me being cutoff, calling back I claimed the above to the call handler who resolved the situation in 2 seconds. The checkin process had taken nearly 20 mins up to that point.

Nice stay

Room was very nice & clean. Check in was efficient and the team on the desk were friendly & helpful. Only complaint we both had was how uncomfortable we found the bed.

1 night stay.

We were only staying 1 night and for that the studio room was fantastic. A very clean room with all u need for a 1 night stay or even longer.

It is a strange setup. You collect the key, then later on you are asked to do the online checkout process. If you are trying to check out after 10:30 (if i remember correctly) you will be charged. The question is it better than a hotel, the answer is No. In a hotel you can talk to someone, ask for extra towel, ask for early check in, or late check out. In many occasions they accommodate you. Here they do not. I would stay in a hotel even with little extra.

Unpersönlich… minimalistisch… Roulos z.T kaputt… Lichtregie ungenügend es fehlt eine kleine Lichtquelle…. laut…..es fehlt ein Stuhl und eine Ablage in Form eines Tisches wäre wünschenswert… Aber die Lage ist super!…..

Sijainti oli todella hyvä, kaikki meidän tarvitsema oli lähellä ja kävelymatkan päässä. Huoneessa oli kuuma koska ilmastointi puuttuu ja ikkunan ollessa kaupungin äänet kuului. Ulko-oven pielessä olisi voinut olla pari koukkua takeille ja laukuille. Hyvä hinta-laatu suhde ja yhteydenpito.

Disappointed

The reception was a reception for the building and not hotel staff. No information in the room and we had to ask a clearly irritated person in the reception for the Wi-Fi code. He told is that information should be in the room and he was not surprised that it was not. The room was small and dark (small window to the back with insight from another room). All light was either on or off, no bed light and no other lights that worked. The room was rather new but already declining due to cheap materials. The outlet from the shower was clogged. No clearing or change of towels.
