Overall the stay here was just ok/average. The bathroom was nice, the room was average and bed was acceptable but not that comfortable. Luckily they moved our room because the first floor near the lobby is quite busy and loud. The common space such as the hot tub and sauna are crowded. I woke early and wanted to walk at the gym, but no treadmill! Overall not bad but was hoping for more for $400 a night.
Great location just outside of the noise
I like the ski lockers that was included.
Decent property
Clean and space is good enough. A bit of walk to the lift. Free charging for EV is very convenient!
Great spot, amazing staff, 5 min walking to get to the slopes. Will be back
Convenient
Overall property was fine but the rooms had no noise isolation. People laughing in next room was feeling like somebody laughing in our room. People walking on next floor in the morning can be easily heard.
Good as any in Whistler
Pillows were massive. I had to sleep without one so my neck wouldn’t hurt.
Simple but great for a get away
Really enjoyed the hotel. It’s slightly off the main drag which is great as it means it is quiet and the pool area is wonderful.
quick check-in and check out was great. Easy Parking was good. No complimentary water bottles in the room.
The heating unit in the rooms are extremely loud, there’s no microwave in the rooms
Better than expected😉
Another quality stay at a great hotel in Whistler. Hot tub and pool are awesome. Sure they get busy after lifts start shutting down, but still awesome. Room was great, location was great, front desk staff is amazing. It is probably a 10 minute walk to the lift with equipment. But still perfect being close to grocery and liquor and the village stroll. You can hear people above you if they are walking around in ski boots or if they are across the hallway. No big deal, you pay for what you get.
Customer service. Excellent. Just noisy customer at the top though at night.
Location is good and quiet. Room looks clean and new.
Easy access to restaurants and ski lift
Friendly staff always available
Great location and good access to the village without the noise of the village
Good budget option
Lots of sound from hallways and doors come into the room
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Was refreshing to have those good interactions with the staff as that is rare nowadays. Thank you.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel - good location, friendly staff. Gym in very poor condition.
The team were very nice. Great location for ski lifts. Room was a good size for a single person staying for 2 weeks. They could do with a table and a comfortable chair. The cleaners were knocking sometimes art 7:30-8am. That wasn’t a big bother as I was up early to the lifts.
Don’t expect too much
The room was very expensive for the condition that it was in. I did appreciate the location of the hotel and the front desk agent was pleasant, but it was not worth the $600+ price tag for the 1 night.
It was fine, pretty basic, nothing fancy - hot tub and sauna were always packed apres ski so I wasn’t able to enjoy them ever. Hot tub is way too small and way too many people in it. Totally gross. Front desk staff were ok but not super friendly. Ignored us every time we walked in and out. Very nice that we could have our dog with us. For the price it was fine, did the job with no bells and whistles.
I love the area and place
Good
Asked for towels never arrived room was a bit dirty
They have a locker room in the basement to keep all your ski and snowboarding gear during your stay. Very convenient
Excellent choice, especially if you planning to ski as it is very close to the lifts. Also, the EV charging stations are useful.
Great location but POOR CLEANNESS
Con: The cleanliness of the sheets and quilt was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. There were visible red stains that resembled blood, which was extremely unsettling. It’s unclear whether the source was bed bugs or something else. Additionally, I noticed brown and yellow stains on the bedding. I also experienced loud noise, possibly from a drum or TV, throughout the night for three consecutive nights, which made it very difficult to sleep. Pro: The location is excellent, right next to the village center, making it very convenient. The service provided by the staff was also good.
Excellent location with very short walk to the Whistler gondola. Room is clean. Nice hot tub
I didn’t like how they didn’t provide the price of parking
Easy walking to everything . Hot tub was great, but buzy! Staff were great and helpful. Housekeeping was top notch!!
Overall decent hotel. Sound muting is lame so if you have people above you with ski boots and you want to sleep in, you’re not going to otherwise The rooms were average The beds too soft I had to turn my mattress upside down to get rid of the pillow top. The staff were very good and accommodating. There are probably better options for the price
Hotel local is close to the village and there are restaurants around.
Our checkin was smooth and Hotel room was perfect for one night stay.
I like the outside pool
Dead birds in a/c units
Dead bird in air conditioning unit. Never got any reimbursement or compensation. Had to pay full price. Staff didn’t take it seriously. This is toxic waste.
5 minute walk to Whistler gondola, incredible location, great hot tub and sauna, wonderful staff.
Great value. For location
Great hotel minutes to the lifts. Rooms on the small side
The water in the shower smelled so bad we showered elsewhere, guests put their children in the hallway at 6am to play, over 50 complaints and no one did anything about it, outlets did t work in room. Great location however.
nice place
Great location and easy hotel for a simple family vaction
Great
Great location and great value for the money.
工作人員很友好,很盡責
No tv
Great front desk crew - welcoming and helpful . Really quick - took care of all requests
Good spot, decent price for Whistler.
Great Area
Alright
Your typical 2- star hotel at a phenomenal location.
Nice hotel, good being back. However, a little ann
The stay was good, hotel was modern and service good, but next to me were a bunch of people talking non-stop, and we had one of these double rooms separated by a door. I swear, it sounded like there were in the same room with us. My dog kept barking once every few hours, once the voices were getting too loud, or people running through the hallways.
A bit of noise situation
Nice hotel but very poor noise insulation in the rooms - you can hear EVERYTHING from the corridors and adjacent rooms. We happened to have very loud neighbours and couldn’t sleep until 1 am.
The stay was good. I am just dissapointed with the aircon, It doesnt have controller and I think it is broken. Tv remote control is missing and no disposable slippers inside the room. Worst part is, my deposit 100cad, up untill now they dont return it to me. I emailed them but they dont answer back.

This is a renovated old building. Some parts the age is noticeable; at the same time it is nice and competes well will newer hotels. Many amenities if you simply ask the front desk staff. (Several of which other hotels do not offer.) Perfect location! Pool & Hot Tub are very nice.
Excellent location. Rooms clean and well lit. Beds comfortable and the location was amazing! Staff were great as well. Would definitely return.
The in-room heaters are very noisy and haven't been updated with the rest of Aava's remodels. I would not stay here again until this is remedied.
Very nice
All good
Great location
Heating units in room only seem to know how to stay in high
All the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. It was my second time staying at Aava, and I’m confident I will will be back again in the future.
The hotel is at a convenient location but too expensive for the price we paid for one night. Its old and our room had no body wash. Towels are low quality and you can hear your neighbours next door clearly. Its ok if the price is lower.
We were a school group and the staff were amazing- super fast check in and so relaxed and attentive. Will definitely stay again.
Nice and clean, grwat location to everything! Nice to have housekeeping make up the room after 1 night. A bit noisy in the hallways but nice to hear people having fun! Pool, hot tub and sauna were lovely. Would definitely go back!
Friendly staff, quick check-in/check-out, very clean and spacious rooms, comfy bed, modern decor, and lots of parking. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. The rooms could have better soundproofing. I had a good stay and I will definitely stay here again.
The hotel was okay and the room was nice. We found it very strange they the duvet had no sheets. It doesn't seem hygienic. Also the TV in the room was very old and hard to work. I would expect to have bedsheets when I pay to stay in a hotel.
We couldn’t make it and had to refund it due to a landslide (natural disaster) on the highway.. The fare was non refundable but the hotel was generous enough and gave us a full refund for the reasonable circumstance. Very good people.
Nice clean friendly hotel very close to all the action.
The staff are amazing - so helpful and kind. Check-in process was painless, we were even allowed to check-in early which was super helpful. Room was great. Highly recommend Aava.
.
So good
Clean room but large stain on comforter. Very noisy at night, could hear people in hallway, and rooms next to us. Staff very friendly, good location.
Good
Loved this hotel! Second time in Whistler in 2 months and we enjoyed this hotel much more than the first one we stayed at. Love that it’s off the main block a bit so it’s quieter and more private.
Good
Great stay!!
Very well located.
Whistler is a small place but Aava is well located just outside the busy hub (which is very accessible). The hotel doesn't have certain amenities, there is no restaurant (but plenty of places nearby) but the rooms were clean and spacious, staff was friendly and accommodation. I was there for business and the one thing that was inconvenient was a proper place to work. The height of the desk and chair made it difficult to work my computer. Otherwise, I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel.
Very good
Great location and base to explore the villiage from.. I could hear the upstairs neighbours thumping around at night but otherwise pretty quite. Easy to drive into from highway, load and unload - garage parking likewise.
Great staff
Was a great stay :)
Walkable to grocery and dining. The room sound proofing needs improvement. Could hear clearly the next door conversation.
Great option and close to the village
Good
Always an awesome stay and an awesome staff
I cannot express enough how wonderful Aava hotel is. It is a third time for me staying at Aava: first with my workplace, second time with my ex husband, and this time myself with two kids (5&10). The hotel is well located, cozy, dog friendly, and we adored the sauna/jacuzzi/pool area. The vending machine with the espresso self service resting area was used by us pretty often, and we enjoyed the Christmasy foyer for our winter photos. Will be definitely coming back, highly recommend!
Ive stayed here at Aava time and time again. It is the best Value in all of whistler main village! Hottub, sauna, ski lockers, clean nice rooms, exceptional staff, and in a little quiet part of the village that doesnt get loud yet its a super quick walk to the center of the village! 10/10 would stay again
Staff didn't seem very interested in being there. Customer service could be better
Comfy bed,
Great check in experience. Nice property and big rooms. Coffee access a challenge if you don’t have money but the staff nicely provided change and charged our room back.
It was in the good location.
Great location, hot tub, and staff.
We had a group of 12 people stay for one night at Aava - comfortable rooms, nice outdoor pool/hot tub/patio area - but we wish they had turned on the firepit on when we requested and waited for....., convenient location, ample underground parking, decent price for accommodations, great lobby area, and really kind staff.
Comfortable, private, pleasant.
