A Gem of a place

This place has a stunning view of Kelowna. It can be seen from the community living room or from their large deck if the weather outside permits. We even saw the Northern lights during our stay. Host Steve, is charming and is a fantastic chef. Our three course breakfast was the best we have ever enjoyed at a B&B. As early risers, Steve was able to accommodate us by timing the coffee to turn on early.

Undoubtedly one of the best B&Bs you will ever stay in. The property is immaculate with stunning views over Kelowna, the room was large, well appointed, and very comfortable Steve and Chrissy looked after us with their friendly demeanor and the breakfast was out of this world

This is my second time staying with Steve and Chrissy, definitely an oasis in West Kelowna with amazing views, fabulous facilities, and the most spectacular gourmet breakfasts. The pina colada tortilla is especially yummy!

Steve and Chrissy were great hosts in this European style B&B. Wonderful views from the patio whilst having breakfast. Only downside is having to drive for an evening meal as the accommodation is in a residential area.

A View of the Lake B&B is amazing. The view is incredible as promised, but that’s not even the best thing about the stay. The entire house is gorgeous and the patio is a wonderful experience in itself. We stayed in the Grandview room Which was huge. A very large bathroom and shower plus the in room whirlpool bathtub. The large bed was very comfortable, and my son was able to use the futon as a second bed. They really made sure and attended to our every need and were gracious hosts all of this to with an exquisite breakfast made by an award-winning chef made this A wonderful experience to end our weeklong trip I would definitely recommend this B&B for anyone who’s looking to treat themselves at a very reasonable rate.

Excellent! Spacious room with beautiful bathroom! Bed was super comfortable. Wonderful panoramic views of the Valley and lake. Just a few minutes drive to many wineries and restaurants. Gourmet breakfast prepared by our hosts Steve & Chrissy.

Fantastic experience

Fantastic hosts and a great house. You get the privacy you need and a view to die for. Off course the breakfast is amazing. If ever we are again in the Kelowna area we will book again.

The views from this property are amazing. The hosts are lovely. Our room was large as was the ensuite. There were a variety of toiletries provided. The highlight was the 3 course breakfast prepared by the host who is a chef. When I say breakfast was the highlight I am not kidding. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

The room offers a one-of-a-kind experience with exceptional and aesthetically pleasing views. Great stay; I recommend it to all. Dining with other guests gave me a different experience. Got a chance to meet some pleased guests.

Was an absolute amazing experience. Right from the moment we arrived till we left. Beautiful house with fantastic rooms. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Steve was such a warm friendly person. The views of the lake and Kelowna were surreal. Highly recommend the B and B. You will not be disappointed.

A View of the Lake does not disappoint! We got the chance to meet Steve, co-owner of the B&B. He showed us the beautiful view from the terrace. We stayed in the Garden View room. Huge King bed, walk-in closet, shower and heated bathroom floors. Wonderful amenities and very accommodating. We didn't get a chance to experience a full breakfast, as we had to leave early, but Steve made us a lovely yogurt parfait and wrap for the road.

A great stay at A View of the Lake

Chrissy and Steve are great hosts! Their B&B is spectacular. Wish we had been there more than one night. Breakfast by our former professional gourmet chef was incredible. The house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and so comfortable! Highly recommend!

Amazing view, spectacular breakfast!

Steve and Chrissy were amazing hosts and the A View of the Lake B&B is the most perfect place to base yourselves whilst exploring the beautiful town of Kewlona. I just wished we could have stayed longer to go to some of the lovely restaurants and wineries! Steve gave such great recommendations on where to eat around town. And cooked us a 3 course breakfast in the morning which was absolutely delicious! Who knew rosemary tastes so good in blueberry pancakes? I've never had a more delicious breakfast in my life and from such an esteemed chef! We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the sweeping balcony as well as the huge lounge area. Our room (Valley room) was massive, very clean and extremely comfortable. It's all the attention to detail that makes this Bed and Breakfast an absolute stand-out accommodation. I hope to come back again and stay longer!

Culinary treat in relaxing, welcoming atmosphere

Staying with Steve and Chrissy was everything we expected and more. We'd read about the amazing breakfasts and the friendly atmosphere and it's exactly what we experienced. The view from the deck is fabulous and couple that with the two best breakfasts I can remember, and it was truly a memorable stay. Chrissy is so welcoming (Steve is too) and the atmosphere they create is comfortable and homey. Steve's skills in the kitchen take it over the top and when we told other people we met during our wine tour what our breakfasts consisted of, they immediately wanted to know where we were staying. We could not recommend this place more.

A gem that should not be hidden. This B&B is a gold standard Steve and Chrissy, the owners make you feel so at home from the time you check in to the time you leave. The breakfast brunch made by Chef Steve is a three course manna from heaven. The ambience is tranquil and uplifts the start of your day. “A View of the Lake”, has a fabulous covered patio which overlooks the Okanagan lake and the city of Kelowna. Steve and Chrissy are wonderful hosts. Their 3 course breakfasts are outstanding. It truly is a treat to be a guest here.

Very confortable and clean room in a house with an amazing view of Okanagan Lake and downtown Kelowna. On top of this, very delicious breakfast by the owner, a retired executive chef. He was also very forthcoming with suggestions for wineries, restaurants and places to visit. Will definitely stay here again at our next visit to the valley.

A lovely couple. Very welcoming and accommodating. Room was very large and well appointed. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise - 3 courses! One must have a car to stay at this property as it is a 15-20 minute drive to restaurants and services. Also, be advised there is not a television in the room, if this is important to you.

Even though we only stayed 1 night, we had a great stay at A View of the Lake B & B. We booked the Grand View room which was spacious and very clean. Hosts Steve & Chrissy were very welcoming and served an amazing breakfast. Definitely will stay here again!

This BB has everything we were looking for during our 5 day stay in Kelowna. Stunning views from a communal terrace balcony, gorgeous room with the stunning view, delicious breakfast prepared by a great chef and very hospitable and friendly owners. The 3 course breakfast was not only delicious ; it was beautifully presented. Also the location is easy access to main highways. Highly recommended.

Our room was magnificent with sweeping panoramic views of water including a view from the in room jacuzzi. The room itself was massive.

The best B&B we have ever stayed

Would highly recommend Steve is a loving and friendly host and amazing chef. We have to postpone our trip on the same day that we were supposed to check in due to tested positive with covid. Steve was very accommodating and we were able to cancel and re-book without any penalty. Thanks, Steve for your understanding. Outstanding gourmet breakfast and breathtaking view of the Okanagan lake from our room. Would highly recommend staying there if anyone is looking for a place to stay. We would definitely return to stay again in a heartbeat.

Steve and Chrissy were amazing hosts. They went out of there way to take care of us. Steve's breakfasts were also epic! Three course breakfasts made from scratch... absolutely delicious! The room we stayed in was also amazing... the view was spectacular! I highly recommend that you stay here if you want an amazing experience!!!

We where here as a stop over and would Highly recommended it, the breakfast is AMAZING three courses which set us up for our day, and the hosts are so friendly and accommodating.

The views from this beautiful Bed and Breakfast are second to none! It is a peaceful and tranquil location with well appointed rooms. Chef Steve and his better half Chrissy are absolutely lovely and each morning’s breakfast is an original; a feast for the eyes and tastebuds! There is an outdoor dining patio in the warmer months. Do it!

Steve and Chrissy are accommodating and courteous hosts. The food and beverages are great. The room is very clean, spacious and quiet with great view of the Okanagan Lake. I appreciated Steve's decision for not serving breakfast outside when temperature is low because he wants to keep the food warm.

Absolutely amazing host. Felt like their personal guest. View from the property is breathtaking. Being vegetarian/Vegan we were wondering what three course breakfast will they serve us other than big basket of bread/begal/muffin. They surprised us with one of the best breakfast. If I visit kelowna ever our stay will be here only.
