My first thought was “charming.” Having a place to park my car was a bonus. I may have to come back to Columbus just to stay here again!
The host is a wonderful person. I look forward to the breakfast she prepares every morning. Cozy, friendly hotel.
Very nice! Staff was onsite and helpful. Great stay!
I loved so much about this place- the location to restaurants and things to do was perfect, with free parking and such a lovely home! The decorations, cleanliness, and comfort of the room and.common areas was great. Tracy was very accommodaring to us, and so friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and we enjoyed the teas, coffee and hot chocolate in our room. I will definitely be back!
Highly recommended
It was a wonderful 2 days Tracy and staff are top notch
Such a lovely, cozy stay!
Wonderful Stay
A real gem! Beautifully appointed room, superb breakfast, ideal location with free parking-I’ll be back!
The location was perfect! Literally right off of High Street! Five min walk to Convention Ctr too! Very clean and cozy! Staff is welcoming but out of sight unless you need them. Breakfast was delicious. One morning we had to leave before breakfast was served and they made us breakfast to-go! There is a private parking lot behind the home which we weren’t made aware of until we went inside. We drove around a long time looking for on-street parking and had to pay to park the first day bc that info was not relayed to us in our Expedia check-in instructions. Also the heat/air conditioning is not manageable in your room but there is a personal heater/fan in the room that is helpful. We visited in January and our room was very warm for sleeping but the fan was indeed helpful. This was in no way off-putting and we will definitely be staying there again! I more than enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!!
Lovely overnight stay
We were quite pleased when we saw our #5 room at this property. It was spacious, clean as a whistle and comfortable. The only things that were less than perfect about our stay and the only reasons for a rating of 4 instead of 5 were:1) our room was on the third floor and, even in this cold weather, the room was so “cozy” it was too warm to sleep. I finally realized I could partially cover the floor registers. 2) My husband and I had a terrible time getting the keyless entry to open. The owner told us those are being replaced. Sounds like that problem will be solved. The most delightful part of our stay was the delicious breakfast prepared and presented beautifully (duh, I should have taken pics), and served by friendly and accommodating women. Kudos to both the chef and the cleaning person!! You are keepers, ladies! I’m so sorry I don’t know your names. Lastly, I want to mention the convenience of the B&B location. We walked everywhere we needed to be in the Short North downtown area. Free parking at the property!!! When the next opportunity arises, we will book this b&b again!
A fine stay.
I booked a multi bed suite but was a regular single bed room. I was told the room I booked was being worked on but was not told this before checking in. I asked about a refund for the cost difference of the rooms and was told there wasn't one. Our host was very nice and friendly and we enjoyed our stay, but I wish I had been told before arriving that I didn't have the room that I booked and paid for online.
Great spot … great staff … great location!
Warm, comfy and cozy. Walk to anywhere! And delicious breakfast is served with joy!
My review
A great cozy place! Bed was a little hard and the room stayed super warm at night! We did find a vent cover to cover our vent! Super sweet little place and would stay there again!
Staff was so friendly and the place was very nice.
Cute BnB in the Short North Cbus.
Delightful BnB in the Short North area. The host and staff were extremely pleasant. We were on the 3rd floor, so was a little bit of a walk up and the rooms were extremely warm. Some grates were provided to cover the heat vents and some windows were able to open as well. Both helped cool the room. The provided breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if in the area.
Had a wonderful time:
Very good location right around the corner of High Street.Quiet, clean, great breakfast.Cookies were very good too.
It is a beautiful Victorian house.Tracy who runs the bed and breakfast does a wonderful job! Nancy who is the house keeper does a great job at keeping everything clean. We have been going here for at least 4yrs we always enjoy our visits
Awesome place. Have been going here for years. Have had the whole place for two weddings to host out of town guests. Have refereed many friends and all of them love it. From those who use it for their base for THE Ohio State Football games to a weekend away. In the heart of Short North plenty to do for everyone. Enjoy
Great hotel in great location.
Everything was perfect! From check in to our room to the wonderful breakfast! Thanks again. We will be back next time we stay in town.
Only downside was being on 3rd floor. I have some mobility issues but it was doable. Very quaint
Always a nice place to stay. Great breakfast, friendly staff and other travelers, lots of walkable dining options, not a bad walk to Ohio stadium.
The breakfast was wonderful, fresh and home made! Option for vegetarian
I had really great experience. I did everything walking, I felt safe and the house is lovely. The breakfast is the best part, I’ll definitely come back and stay there again. Room was really cute and I felt like home (literally). I wish all can experience what is a real hospitality like I experienced there.
It was very quaint and in a very nice neighborhood. There were lots of shops and restaurants in the area. We went to a concert at Kemba which is only a few minutes away by car. The staff there was very accommodating and friendly. And the property is beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here.
Amazing staff, best breakfast and convenience to dining
Unique property. Very welcoming
Very easy check-in process. Beautiful home! Very welcoming and friendly staff.
Wonderful Stay
Tracy is a truely wonderful host and the real highlight of staying here. Welcoming, friendly and great attention to detail, stay here if you can! It's also a great neighbourhood for a walk!
Clean, affordable, great location and breakfast
Had a wonderful stay at the B&B! Great location - 2-3 minutes walk to the Art District, Downtown, and the famous Jenni’s Ice cream! Great service and gracious host! Love the tastefully decorated sitting and dining room on the ground level! You can help yourself to cookies, snack and hot tea during the day! Love the homemade breakfast - we’ll miss that! The only thing is that All bedrooms are upstairs, and there is no elevator! If you can do the stairs, Recommend getting a room on the third floor! This B&B is really a hidden jewel and the best lodging option in Columbus Short North downtown!
Cozy and comfortable! Love staying here.
Breakfast was delicious and there plenty of stores to walk too, excellent location
Wonderful breakfast
They make you double park and leave your keys on the counter and allow someone worse to move your car around. Communication on entry was a mess. The place was a total disappointment!! Staff was rude! Definitely not romantic, definitely won’t return.
Quaint Little Place
Amazing place and people. Would glady stay again.
Great lil location, not to far from the heart of Columbus
Tracy was a great hostess and cook! The building is charming, clean and well maintained. Easy walking access to shops, restaurants and arenas. Only complaint is the walls are thin and you can easily hear people in other rooms. It’s an old house though so not surprised
Would stay again!
Was a very beautiful home. Lovely staff!
Location was excellent. A block off all the activity. Great value compared to expensive hotels in the area, especially on Friday when Oho State Football game is on Saturday. Ownership was very friendly. Free parking. Breakfast was made to order and would have cost $30 or more in a hotel restaurant and would not have been as good. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful sitting room. If I had occasion to stay in Columbus again, this would be my first choice.
Second time around was even better ! Tracy’s warm welcome made me feel right at home. And her very nutritious breakfast 😊. Also always pleasant encounters at the breakfast table. 10/10 ❤️.
Great place to stay, perfect location, off street parking, clean room. Instructions for check in and check out where clear. Would definitely stay again.
This was my first B&B and I loved it. Our large suite was a perfect place for my sister get together. The hosts thought of everything to make it a perfect location.
The house is beautiful and clean, staff was super helpful and kind. Our backs need a firmer bed but otherwise no complaints. I would recommend this to friends and I would stay here again!
We had a wonderful time! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Fantastic location. Amazing breakfast and snacks. Perfect for our weekend getaway!
Great location, quaint and comfortable
Perfect location between the bustle of Ohio State campus and downtown Columbus. Delighted that the manager Tracy also loves Hanley & Sons teas and I got to have my favorite tea, Paris, what a treat! Day 1 breakfast was French toast and bacon, day 2 breakfast was quiche and English muffins. Fruit and yogurt and granola were available both mornings. Guests can help themselves to tea all day. Parking was convenient. Short North is very walkable with many dinner options.
Vacation
Amazing stay Very affordable and respectful owners I felt like I was at home
Wonderful experience! It felt like home.
I cannot say enough good things about this bed-and-breakfast. Easy, safe parking. Hassle free self check in. Adorable house and rooms. Quiet and beautiful patio area. Welcoming environment. Incredible manager. Delicious breakfast. Easily walkable to shopping, restaurants, and Nationwide Arena. If you are going to Columbus and need a convenient, safe, comfortable, and adorable place downtown, stay here!!
Very welcoming environment and host. We will love to come back at this bed and breakfast.
It was so nice staying at a place that isn't a chain hotel and has more of a local flavor. Tracy was so attentive and made sure we had breakfast even though we had to leave really early in the morning. It was quiet at night, all the guests were super polite, and there are great dining options within walking distance.
Overnight at 50 Short Lincoln.
The home was very clean and comfortable. The Victorian decorations were beautiful. Check in easy and instructions were clear. The food was excellent, The owner even let me park there all day after checkout so I could svaoid a parking deck fee close by. Will return for sure. I would have liked a Keurig in the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee since I am early riser ( 6am ) and breakfast was at 8
I have stayed at this B&B a few times and it is always great. Very comfortable and wonderful hosts.
Great B&B within steps from everything in Short North. Loved the courtyard and the breakfast was excellent with superb service. Since it is an old house you can hear the tv from the room next door but I don’t fault the B&B for this, thats just how it is. Only mentioning this for awareness, it didn’t bother us at all. There were a few people staying there who were repeat customers, and I can see why! If you are looking for a quaint, cozy place close to all the restaurants and shops with parking too, this is the place for you!
A lovely establishment. We hope to return so we can experience the inn and town for a full weekend.
Property and staff lovely, we will be back!
What a “find”! Stay here!
This was a real “find”, as was the city of Columbus. I loved walking and exploring the city, then coming “home” to 50 Lincoln Short North. Actually, the breakfast served each morning was better than home! Walkable distance to restaurants, bars, breweries, North Market, art galleries, museums etc. Lovely hostess and accommodations, great shower and AC, patio area, screened porch. I highly recommend 50 Lincoln Short North!
Fantastic place to stay!
This is such a great place to stay in Columbus. In the middle of everything, walkable to many destinations— restaurants, sports, shopping. This is our second time here and we’ll be back.
Tracy made the most amazing breakfast, fresh and different each of the three days. She is such a wonderful lady. She made us feel so welcome. We loved our stay there and highly recommend it to anyone.
Very nice accommodations. Great breakfast. Jeni’s ice cream store is two blocks away! Yum! Salted caramel ice cream is my favorite flavor. You have to walk where you want to visit in the short north neighborhood. There is no parking at businesses.
The breakfast was fabulous and included! Location was perfect, quiet but downtown was very close. The gardens and outdoor space was lovely. The bedding was luxurious!
Where to stay in Columbus!
After a seamless check-in process, we were greeted with fresh warm cookies for our first day. Kitchen refrigerator let us store Gatorade, and there was always plenty of cold water for us. A plethora of tea options, along with a divine home-cooked breakfast. We were out the door early on 2 of our 3 days, and our host made sure to offer an earlier breakfast time just for us along with to-go options. The room was clean and comfortable. The outside patio was serene and calming in a bustling part of town. Tracey, the Manager, went above and beyond. As we get ready to send our Freshman to OSU, we foresee many more visits to this gem!
Perfect find
Looking for a room for a wedding and this location came up This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and it was fabulous! What a find!! The hostess was so friendly and the breakfast was amazing. There is a beautiful courtyard to sit and relax in. Perfect all the way around.
Great B and an!
Like melding the best of the hotel and house rental worlds and with better daily service than either. I stayed a full week so experienced both week and weekend traffic. My suite was quiet and very private feeling. Breakfasts were amazing. The back courtyard was perfect for an evening sit, and the proprietress was an unfailing hostess-so friendly and helpful. 10 stars.
Very comfortable. Rooms clean and nice size. Breakfast are delicious…Highly recommend.
I recommend this place. The staff was so nice. The area was perfect. Ill definitely will be back.
Great BB with a friendly staff.
Charming room and wonderful breakfast. Off the busy street made for a quiet and peaceful stay.
The breakfasts were amazing and the chef was wonderful! Our room was very comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated.
A lovely gem in the middle of Columbus
Room was clean with all the necessities. Bed was extremely comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. I had two solid nights of sleep!! The breakfast was delicious and filling and the owner made every effort possible to make my stay enjoyable
This is our second time staying at this beautiful BnB, and we loved it just as much! Tracy makes you feel right at home with so many wonderful personal touches. The breakfast in the morning is AMAZING, and then rooms are cozy at night. The free parking is an amazing perk- especially since we leave our car and walk everywhere we can! It's close to so many great restaurants and shops, and a quick drive to all the love sights of Columbus. We will absolutely be back every time we visit!
It was our home away from home for 5 days. The homemade breakfast was delicious and our host, Tracy was amazing. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!
Very nostalgic property! Clean, tidy. Tracy, the Manager is wonderful and helpful. Location is great!
Absolutely Recommend
It was only an overnight stay, but it was excellent. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Loved everythjnv about it from the room the sitting areas. Breakfast was delicious and loved being to just sit out back in the yard with my coffee in the morning. Should I ever need visit Columbus again, will definitely stay again
Excellent location, walkable and close to public transportation and to many restaurants. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Tracy, the manager, caters for every need. She changed my breakfast when I told her I was not really a French toast person. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and a kettle that clients can use. Also free snacks. The place has a very homey feeling and both Tracy and Nancy, the housekeeper, will go the extra mile to accommodate your wishes. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Columbus Ohio.
Weekday getaway
Great location for our stay. Hostess was wonderful and accommodating to all guests requests or needs.
Enjoyed the breakfast. Super fresh and certainly a step up from the chains. The stairs were a bit cumbersome; fortunately, I’m in good shape for my age but this would be tough on a lot of seniors. Be sure to book first floor if available. The common areas were spacious and egress from both the back and front was great. And it was a short walk (1/2 block). to the clubs, bars and restaurants in the Short North district.
Nice place
Beautiful common area, super helpful staff, we had to get our bikes inside and they let us use the first floor office and save us from chaining up outside or lugging them upstairs
Wonderful property and free parking in the back. Breakfast was wonderful. My wife and I definitely want to stay again. Many dining options just blocks away.
Tracy was the best host! Very accommodating and helpful!! We will definitely be back!!
Great location
Quick trip for high school graduation of our nephew. Great location. Close to Short North district even though we didn’t have time to enjoy it this trip. Breakfast was wonderful! Cozy room
The beds were awful and really uncomfortable. We didn’t get much sleep. Around 4:30 am I moved to the couch and finally got a little sleep. You can’t control the temp or open windows, but they give you a fan, which helped a little with how warm it was inside. The breakfast was stellar and Nancy(I believe her name was) even got up early to make it for us because we had to leave by 7. We really appreciated that. Parking is at the back of the house and yes u may have to park behind someone. No elevator, just fyi.
Comfy beds and a wonderful breakfast. A great stay all around.
This was such a special find. Tracy, answered all my questions, she cooked an AMAZING breakfast, and the room and entire property was lovely, warm and welcoming. I will stay here every time I come to Columbus.
Loved everything about it!!!
From the moment I pulled in the parking lot I was enamored with this adorable B&B! The service was amazing. The manager went above and beyond to make my stay perfect, including making me a to-go breakfast because I had to leave so early in the morning and even contacting me backimmediately about something I had left in my room so that I could make sure to go back and get it before I left town again. The room was clean and quiet, the area of town was fun with so much within easy walking distance. I will definitely be back!
Excellent location to walk to Short North. Delicious breakfast and proprietor was wonderful. Great stay.
Hidden gem
This BNB was close to everything and is so quaint. It is gorgeous and the staff was so friendly. The breakfast was AMAZING!
a great b&b
very comfortable b&b tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, minutes away from the hustle and bustle of High Street -- Tracy runs a tight ship and is an excellent host -- highly recommended!
The Bed & Breakfast is in a great location and is very cute. Room is cozy, and bed is comfortable. We had a few interactions with Tracy and Nancy and they were both prompt and thorough with helping us.
Awesome place and amazing people
All great.
Great, homey B&B close to the Convention Center
Very comfy B&B 5 minutes away (slow walking time) from the Columbus Convention Center. Stayed there during a conference and it was no problem to get there and back even during the day. The manager (Tracey) is wonderful, the breakfasts are gourmet (and filling), there is always tea available for the guests and cookies/brownies in the evening. The rooms are comfy and clean. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Will definitely stay again if I am back in Columbus.
I enjoyed the historical ambience of this bed and breakfast in, and the comfortable room. The breakfast was amazingly delicious, and the manager/cook was very friendly.
This was a nice change from normal business travel fare. I came in town for a conference and found this spot. It was quiet and homey. The owner was friendly and made a wonderful breakfast. I really enjoyed it and will return if I am in town again.
Excellent all around!
Loved the location and the house is very well kept up. Free parking is very convenient. We also enjoyed a nice hot breakfast in the morning. Recommend it to anyone.
It was quaint and pleasant!
50 Lincoln Short North B&B | Hotel in Columbus | Travala.com
This is a real B&B. The host was absolutely fantastic. My daughter and I came for a concert at Nationwide Arena and it was such a great location. If I ever stay overnight in Columbus again I will definitely be staying here.
