Zuri was central, quiet, comfortable & accessible

Great relatively new premises, Peter was great at arrival and afterwards when encountered. Other staff not so friendly or accommodating. Overall presentation and facilities very good.

The room was clean and a good size, however the shower smelled like sewage. The location is very close to the train/bus/tram, about 10-15min from downtown/old town area. There is a restaurant, movie theater and bakery across the street.

Stayed for one night, great location, close enough to walk from train station (not the closest option though). Very nice rooms, new enough.

This was a last minute reservation as our train was cancelled into Salzburg. The staff was excellent and we enjoyed the sauna a lot. The room was clean and quite large for European sizes. It was a bit of a distance to get into old town and there wasn't a big choice for eating places close by. We would book it again.

It is a small business hotel good for overnight stays very clean and close to transportation it is far from downtown but the tram is nearby for the budget worth considering it

Great stay! Only for 1 night, but it was comfortable and clean. Would come again.

Reception staff was missing for half an hour in the evening so there was a big queue of people waiting to check in.

Stayed here for a few days solo before staying with my company. Hotel is in a great spot that is within walking distance of some really great spots, as well as being right across the street from a few tram stops which made traveling out into the countryside really easy. Also right down the street from the river and river path which was fantastic for running. Staff was ok, there were times it seemed like we were bothering them by being there. Room can get stuffy so be prepared to have the window open or AC going a bit

Bathroom sink did not drain. Overall adequate but definitely not worth the inflated price. Not enough towels provided. Could not get bottled water.

The property didn’t have air conditioning and it was very hot.

Great place

Clean, modern room, except missing basic things expected like shampoo and body wash. Location is not the best as 20 minutes from train station and 30 minutes from old city. Sauna and fitness room very simple and in basement so did not use. Early check in would have costed an extra 30 chf although room was ready.

Really helpful staff, took to our concerns and assisted to a smoothness 2 nights. Thank you!

Service was excellent and friendly. The room was reasonably sized, with decent toiletries and enough surfaces to unpack things and be comfortable. Beds were a little on the softer side for my taste, but still very reasonable. Would stay again!

Would not recommend. So far from the center. Very expensive area and not desirable for tourists.

Overall very good experience with Hotel Zuri by Fassbind. It is so convenient that with 8 mins walking distance to the nearest train station. However would like to suggest to have different pillow selection for better comfort (do correct me if there is pillow option).

Close walk to the main bus area to be able to go anywhere around the city.

Nearby to tram station and tram to zurich hb is like 7 mins away thus making it accessible. Room condition is pretty decent. Great bed and bath. Quite small but still ok. Aircond is functional and cool which makes the room comfortable. However, carpet cleanliness could be improved. In case u need cutleries or plate, u can take it on ur own at the restaurant. Overall, it’s a good place.

Clean

The mini fridge in the room was cool at best. The front desk said they all were and if we needed something to be kept cold they would store it in their kitchen. Also laundry is not self service, as in washer and dryer on site. It was a cleaner and it is not available on the weekends which of course is when we were there. I asked the front desk and they just said “this is not like the states” so we were on our own to find a laundromat .

This hotel is way over priced. Rooms are small.

Location was easy to access from airport and also to the main station. Nice and clean.

Very small room

Front staff at reception were excellent. Easy to get public transport from hotel. Good eateries close by. Only issue was on one day breakfast was very poor. Not enough staff to clean tables and not everything was available compared to other mornings.

Excellent place, quite modern, the only issue parking was a bit difficult to find at first but I would come here again in my next visit to Zurich

Very nice hotel and hotel room. It was modern and just perfect all the way around.

The property was clean and in a good location with many restaurant options. Unfortunately, the street and sidewalk in front of the hotel is torn up and inaccessible. So when you drive into an unfamiliar town with a rental car and you can't even get to the front door of the hotel, that's bad. You have to have a banner across the booking online--UNDER CONSTRUCTION-NO ACCESS WITHIN A BLOCK BY CAR OR TAXI. People can then decide whether or not they want to deal with it but it felt shady not to say anything. Otherwise, hotel was fine.

Overall 3/5 Check-in - a sharp 3pm, upon arrival the male staff at check-in counter only said: it's not ready till 3pm in no facial expession. Feel unwelcoming especially after hour long flight. Room - good enough, bed is comfortable. Amenity - not much but probably available upon request. There's a lady at the desk was nice and friendly helped us print out our document so that helps. Location - a bit far from town but very easy to take train.

This hotel is an absolute gem and a relative bargain in an expensive city. It is located in a trendy corner of central Zurich, steps away from funky eateries and the delightful Frau Gerolds Garten, which really comes alive at night. This hotel is conveniently located mere steps from several bus/tram options that get you downtown in under 10 minutes. I was greeted by friendly staff at reception, and the breakfast buffet featured a nice variety of quality hot/cold items. The room was spotless and super quiet, with an effective A/C for comfort during warm nights. My only regret is that I didn't book a longer stay at this hotel. Given how quickly one can get downtown, it is a no-brainer to stay here instead of more expensive options closer to old town.

The staff were helpful. They’d be able to help more if they could call Uber for the guests just like they could call taxis for them (the guests.)

I have been staying at this hotel for a few years on business and it is very efficient.

The hotel is based in an industrial area but not very far from the center. I have booked an hotel with a double size bed and ended up with two single beds. When I draw the attention of the receptionist on this point she claimed that it was due to a mistake from Hotels.com. She advised to upgrade and pay an extra to get the room with the double bed. Also the treadmill (only one) in the Gym is not working properly and should be removed and replaced as it could cause health and safety issues. I am not the first one to refer to this issue but nothing has been done. The hotel is not cheap but not too bad in comparison with others in Zurich.

Doesn't have sufficient staff at the desk or at the Bar. Very basic amenities compared to the price.

Overall it was good, but instead a queen size bed with single matrasse it was two single bed.

Disappointment

Apart then we like the room, l will not stay at this hotel or recommend this place at all.

Hotel very modern inside (not a looker outside)! Parking was hard to find even with directions and has very tight entry/exit. Air conditioning didn’t ever get cold. When checking out they forced us to pay in British Pounds instead of Swiss Francs. Not impressed as it is almost always cheaper to pay in the local currency and let your bank convert to GBP. To end on a positive, Zurich is great and hotel was a mere 25-30 minute walk along river to City.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and close to transportation. However, the mini bar is not very well designed—my head hit the top when making coffee. Also the refrigerator is filled with pricey stuff and we could hardly put anything in it.

Very pleasant stay

Very close to public transport. Very short walks to trams and trains to everywhere. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

When we were checked in the guy at the front desk was pretty rude and asked a lot of prying necessary questions. Additionally, shortly after checking in I reported that the tv was damaged and the picture was distorted because of it. Instead of the hotel moving us to another room or having the tv replaced, they claimed that they've already upgraded the room (which was absolutely false) and were very dismissive of the complaint. This treatment was very uncomfortable and unacceptable.

This hotel provides everything that a business person wants for a short stay with no expensive frills. Rooms are well sized with good WiFi and clean, modern bathrooms The breakfasts are expensive (less so by Swiss standards) but there is a wide choice. Main problem is that AirCon could not be controlled. Room remained always slightly too warm.

Excellent stay. Just the service at reception can be improved.

The room was good. The breakfast is really not worth the money. We asked for thinner slices of bread, which was not possible to our surprise.

The space was super sparse and some of the staff was very rude. When I asked about the AC and the room being hot, the person basically yelled at me. Definitely not coming back...

clean and safe with a convenient location

exceeded our expectations! Very clean, modern feel. Friendly and efficient front desk employees, and a great breakfast buffet. Super convenient to the tram to take you into the city center, and with plenty of local bars and restaurants around if you don't want to venture to the city center. We parked in the garage, which was super convenient and very safe - well worth the parking fee, considering we had a rental and were concerned about street parking. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends travelling through, and would definitely stay again, next time we are in Zurich.

Comfortable stay with no frills

The hotel is no thrills but is comfortable and my room was very nice and bright. Breakfast is ok. The gym is ok. Running Machine doesn't work. Location is great for restaurants.

Hotel was not what I expected and the room is much smaller than advertised.

A functional choice, some distance to city centre

Further away from city centre than I realized, in the Zuri West area about a 25 min walk to Hauptbahnhof. The area has a very industrial feel, lots of converted factory buildings and concrete fly-overs, seemed to be becoming a bit hipster, but maybe not appealing to everyone. Staff were fine although on check-in the receptionist said one room number but wrote down another... so I went to the wrong room at first before I worked it out. A very clean and comfortable room, although style a little like a student hall of residence. Room comes with a kettle although only one sachet of coffee seemed mean. Lift doors don't have sensors so mind they don't squash you. Overall a functional choice but a bit expensive for what & where it is, I felt.

Clean accessible hotel, small room

Good hotel in Zurich- rooms were of smaller size but service and staff were good. Did not have the breakfast as I felt it was higher price for value ( 20 Chf) , parking was another 20 Chf Rooms were clean and well organised.

Nice hotel somewhat away from the core area.

My room was very modern and well-equipped. The location is a bit out-of-the-way, but still just a 10-minute tram ride from Zurich main railway station. My rate did not include breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

All in all, it was good. Except for the noise from the disco around the corner which lasted until late in the night...

Staff was special, room good but too hot

Hotel staff was kind of weird, they weren't unfriendly, but they were not too professional and they said we should go to the garage hit the button for us to call them and they'll open the gate, but then they didn't, so I went back to the reception and the 2 guys that were there actually left to work on something else, and we were waiting at the gate for like 20 minutes. The room and bed was good though,but the room was too hot the A/C wasn't working - enabled it to get down to 21 degrees Celsius, it just stayed on 25

Single bed for a twin-bed reservation

Room was tiny. My reservation was for a single person, superior room. Arriving around 2am in the morning from a work related, I almost directly went to bed. I was surprised to see it was a tiny room and that it wasn't a twin bed, though the reservation was marked twin bed. I was too tired to go downstairs and ask for a change and upon checkout the following morning, I was not in a mood to explain that they made a mistake by providing a single bed.

Clean room with comfy beds.

The best part of the hotel was the room and the staff. The room was clean, neatly laid out with thoughtful necessities. The bathroom was great, and the beds were comfy with great comforters and pillows! The staff at the front desk were friendly and did their best to help out with things like booking a tour, lending an umbrella, and finding a corkscrew. The only thing I didn't like was that on arrival to the hotel, the outside doesn't look that inviting - it's dark and bland, and was a bit of a turn-off. Needless to say, I was happy to discover the nice rooms and friendly staff!

Front desk staff is extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions. Room has air conditioning and has a modern design.

Everything was wonderful, we were able to check in early for no cost, the train is literally 2 minutes away, nice bakery just 30 seconds around the corner. And we were able to leave our bags on reception for the entire day, leaving us 8 more hours to explore Zurich after we had checked out.
