i would highly recommend it the staff were super nice the only thing they can improve on is the wifi

Budget hotel but suited our needs

A week of diving so didn’t use the pool area until checkout day. Staff friendly, room cleaned daily. Fridge and kettle in room. Beds comfy and bathroom suitable. Worked for us as we like to eat out at the Marina restaurants which are in walking distance. Nice coffee cafe for breakfast over the road. Would use again

The place terrible nothing was prepared when we arrived we had to beg the reception for shampoo But The girl that was there in the morning was respectful and helpful but there is on guy in the night shift i had to ask him many times for towels for the pool and literally had to follow him around when he was literally ignoring my request and at the end i ended up having “hands towels “ and getting told to leave the pool because its “too late” while there was another guy swimming they didnt say anything to him in addition to that i was asking for the internet and the guy that was there literally ignored me again Anyways it was a nice stay just because they have cats but other than that i would rate it zero not even one star Thanks zak in

Great place

The staff at Zak inn were amazing, the pool, and patio were a great addition to our stay. The only downside was that the water pressure wasn’t great and after a day in the ocean it was a little inconvenient but I would still stay here again.

A hidden gem in an unpleasant area

A hidden gem in a busy, not very pleasant area. Staff very friendly, pool area very relaxing. Room was large and shower was hot and powerful. There was no hand towel provided, nor (more importantly) any mat for the floor after a shower (dangerous), however they gave me an extra towel when I mentioned this. There were no hooks or rails to hang up your towel after a shower. WiFi doesn't reach the bedrooms, only in reception and pool areas (WiFi is generally pretty bad across Egypt). Highly recommend Coffee Studio opposite - the best croissants I've ever had!

Good value for money in central location.

Lovely little hotel

When I booked I requested a low room. I struggle with stairs. I was put on the top floor for 1 night as they had no low floors available. First night was dreadful because of this and I was in a lot of pain with having to struggle getting up the stairs. The next day I was given ground floor room and it was lovely and spacious and very clean. The staff could not do enough for you, very helpful

Good for shopping

I was surprised with their extreme kindness and hospitality, very pleasant staff, the property is ok for what I want during my stay but it is very clean very quiet and many tourists were occupying the rooms, if you need a clean room, clean washroom and nice service in the city with a pool and very very reasonable price this is the place to stay. I used to be in 5 stars hotels all inclusive but never used the all inclusive things , so I decided to try this one but it worked very well and it satisfied my needs, many thanks to the room service Ahmed who I asked him to buy me lunch because I was tired from the long drive and with very nice pleasant smile agreed and got me lunch. Very confident that you will like the facility at this price many coffee shops and restaurants near the location and shopping centres. Please try and enjoy. Thank you zack inn staff for your hospitality and best regards.

Absolutely unpleasant stay

Absolutely not a nice place to stay. The staff is extremely rude and treats you in an extremely intimidating manner. The rooms are not cleaned, no hygiene at all. We asked for a room which would have more sun since it was really cold and receptionist kept promising but every day would say same thing that he has nothing available even people were moving in and out. After that we complained and he made our life miserable. First we left a towel hanging on shower and it got dirty from shower too being never cleaned and we were accused of destroying the towels! Then we explained that it was the from the shower cabin and there was no apology or anything whatsoever. By the pool we wanted to speak to family on the phone since this was the only place with wifi and receptionist came complaining that it is disturbing others. He told us to go to the room and speak but there is no internet. Staff was always rude with us and threatened to kick us out if we do not follow what they said. We are a couple in 70s who just wanted to peace and quiet. If you can please avoid this place because instead of relaxation you will have the most miserable stay. Rooms small and smell of mold. Towels probably used for decades, bed sheets as well. Staff rude. Pool never cleaned. Noise around the hotel is really bad. Many flies all over the food and drinks. Mosquitos every night kept us awake.

Super Stay

Very nice clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Duty Manager Ahmed extremely professional and friendly ensuring my stay was perrfect. Great location with bars,shops,and Restaurants close-by. Beautiful swimming pool and gardens. Look forward to my next stay. Busy location but quiet bedrooms for sleeping well.

Amazing value off money!

Perfect for a few days get away. Well located, clean rooms and swimming pool and very friendly front of house staff.

Overall nice and pleasant. Just some problems have to be solved and it would be 5 star from me. Toilet low flush,and no ventillation in it, so loud airconditioner in the room and enourmus and old, dirty floor, few water and just warm from bath, and bathdoors doesnt works. But staff is kind and good view from room. Should have some drinks and sandwiches too and breakfast and other material surrounding the pool cose the brick more than hot like walking on fire. Nice calm music around the pool. Free pin-pong and billiard cool idea. Would be nice if can be avaiable the pool around midnight and they have gates with net but no appropiate ball. (They went to buy one maybe now they have already.)

This is a very good place to stay in Hurghada. The amenities, like coffee and breakfast and other meals are available, less than a minute walk from the hotel. Zak Inn is a bargain.

Nice location

Lovely staff , kind , helpful and polite , safety and good night sleep . Cons : no wifi in rooms , weak at balcony ,no breakfast , no microwave to heat up left overs .

January in Hurghada Zak Inn

We had a very helpful man at Check In which was helpful. There was only internet connected to the lobby and not in the rooms. The pool was beautiful although we did not use it as it was so cold. In warmer months this is a great cheap hotel right in the center of town...for the cold of January there were no heaters in the rooms so it was a little cold.

Great place to stay downtown

We had a great experience staying here on our last day in Egypt. Zak Hotel is central to all of the best restaurants and close to the airport, but still manages to allow a quiet's night rest being set back from the main street. Rooms are good for the price, and it has a pool, as well as free billiards and ping pong. Lastly, the staff is great, and allowed free luggage storage after checkout. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here :)

Outdated bathroom, plaster everywhere, loud air-conditioning and mini bar. Great location, smooth check-in. Expedia health and safety should pay a visit

We arrived from london and stayed here for 2 weeks from 6th august to 20th august (room 309 & 310). The hotel was great, excellent location in the heart of hurgada. I emailed the staff prior to arriving to arrange 2 rooms next to each other, got a response back within minutes and on our arrival the rooms were granted. The staff were excellent and very helpful, rooms cleaned everyday and more importantantly they spoke english. I loved my stay here and will definetley recommend this to my friends and family and rebook this accommodation again on my return. Thank you to all the staff at Zac Inn for makiing our stay feel like home. Nistar.

This was great to stay on the cheap. Huge room with private bathroom. Large swimming pool. However the shower space was tiny. I barely fit. Also the Internet was terribly slow. And i could not find anywhere close to eat breakfast. But i think that's a culture difference because none of the "cafes" offered breaky. Just pipes lol.

Good location in Hurghada

Located on the end of busy Sheraton street. Lots of tourist hotels around. A good beach in Hurghada is Sheraton Beach about a 25 minute walk away (costs 75 EP).

Very basic stay. Catering for the people that done want a flashy hotel and only a place to stay and a bed to sleep in. The bathrooms ar very basic and nothing is straight or new. Only quilts and no real duvet. Pool is non heated but I suppose u don't need anything else if u stay in the summer. WiFi is good. Convenient located close to a supermarket and easy access to the airport.

Nothing like as it is described or seen on photos. I didn't stay and had to book another place to stay, and they refused to refund me.

The premises of the hotel is quite poor, lack of cleaneless everywhere and lack of amenities. I paid for two nights as my friend were there for two nights only and also booked separately for myself for another 7 nights, once my friend left, I left too. It was impossible to stay in a filthy place. I requested a refund through message and they refused to do it.

The Zak Inn was a nice place to stay while in Hurghada. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which was very much appreciated. The hotel is in good shape for it's age. There are a few little things that could be updated to improve ones experience, but overall for the price it's a good place.

Excellent Value in Centre of Hurghada

The Zak Inn is in the centre of town, a 15 minute drive from the Airport. We booked the services of "Hurghada Drivers" for the airport transfers, which were on-time, courteous, efficient and cost-effective, rather than using the risky taxis. The hotel is a couple of minutes to the beach, walking through the Bella Vista hotel across the road. We booked two rooms for a couple of nights, which were on the 3rd floor, with a nice balcony with table and chairs and a great view of the pool area, which appeared to be very clean. The rooms were quite spacious and had pretty much everything you would need, including a large fridge, electric kettle and a TV which had many cable channels, most of which were in Arabic. The wifi was a little patchy in our room, which was quite a long way from the hotel's reception area. The hotel is now somewhat ageing and a little run down, but is ideal for a few nights if you are on a budget.

Wonderful staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are kind beyond measure. Terrific location too.

Situated in an ideal position for all local amenities, the rooms are spacious with an excellent bed and good storage space. As a cheaper, self-catering option to the big hotel complexes it is ideal. Staff are extremely accommodating and wish only to offer guests a good experience. However, the accommodation is a little tired and in need of an overhaul, which would naturally increase prices. You get what you pay for, and more, at Zak Inn.

I liked being in town close to grocery, tourist shops, the marina where dive boats depart from is 5 minutes away. Hotel was safe, friendly and clean. I enjoyed my stay here for 1 week

Staff very friendly and helpful to me, close to grocery store, restaurants, tourist services, banks.

At the price, you can't really complain about a room with a balcony overlooking a lovely swimming pool. Ok, the rooms are basic (no safety deposit box) but the hotel is set back enough from the road to guarantee a good night's sleep without being disturbed by traffic. The mariner is a 10LE taxi ride away (use a metered cab). There are eateries nearby..

Ok room for the price. The building is very dated and looks like it could use a lot of TLC. There are no elevators. Water pressure in the shower was so weak it took quite a bit of time to have a shower. There is active construction happening directly beside the hotel and the walls are thin so we wokeup to it in the morning. The only nice thing is the pool but the loud sounds of construction ruins it also. We stayed here just for one night since the resort we booked was not available on the day of our arrival. I wouldn't want to stay here much longer than that if you could help it.
