Last minute booking for ACDC concert across the road very friendly staff excellent location nice and clean

The hotel was clean, staff was nice and the price was great. It was walking distance to many great places as well. Would definitely book again when visiting Vancouver!

Great place to stay. Price is excellent for Hotel location. Close to shops and restaurants. Personal very friendly and the hotel is being renovated. There are several kitchens that are very handy to cook. My family really enjoy this hotel.

Having a quick overnight stay in Vancouver but this hotel made me wish I was staying longer. Great location, perfectly sized room, very nice staff

Wonderful Place to Stay!

The YWCA was perfect. Clean, staff was friendly, and it was centrally located. We had a few critical issues during our six-night stay, including a dental emergency. The staff recommended a nearby clinic and we walked there in less than five minutes and had superb care. I would stay at the YWCA every time I visit Vancouver. The view from our room was not spectacular, but we were never there during the day anyway so it was fine. I've never slept on a more comfortable pillow! Thank you to the cleaning staff and a special thanks to Calvin for calmly recommending a dentist and also for a quick response to a parking issue right before a special event I was running late to attend. Kudos all around; this is a great spot to stay in Vancouver.

This building is unexpectedly nice, modern and elegant for a Y. Jaspreet was professional, quick and kind at the reception - she gave us a great free upgrade to a room with private bathroom. We took a look at the shared bathrooms in the hallways, and they are just as nice and clean, with complete privacy as the ensuite bathroom. Clean and very spacious lobby, walking distance to everything in core downtown, including the skytrains stations.

An amazing property right in the heart of Vancouver. Close to shopping and restaurants. The room was quaint and very modern, the bed was really nice. No noise from the street at night and there were good blackout blinds to keep the light down. It really was perfect for a place to stay and save a bit of money.

Great option for downtown Vancouver!

We had a great stay. Everything was better than we expected. Underground parking was pricey and very tight as I have a full size truck but worth it for it considering the area.

The location was excellent for where we wanted to go to see an event. The room was nice and quiet, away from the street.

It was big city to take tour in a lot of places to see i love view of ocean the food was good for me.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was not the usual hotel we stay at, but the accommodations were great. Plus we did like that the proceeds go back to community programs in Vancouver. I would stay here again.

Very nice experience!

This is a clean well maintained building BUT I felt the H vac was extremely loud. Zero noise filtering! If you want to be staying next to the space jet thrusters this is your room. Loud and no sleep had.space jet engineering dept simulation testroom!

YWCA is clean and pleasant hotel to stay. Restaurants and supermarket , 711 are within walking distance.

I was pleased about my stay except for the very loud squeaking of the fan that I could not control intermittently.

Bare bones but has everything you need for a reasonable price

Convenient for game at Rogers arena. Liked the secure parking underground (limited spots). Could use a second chair or bench for a room with two beds.

There was a weird smell in the room. It was subtle and only lingered by the door thankfully. Otherwise, I had a lovely 1 night stay. This hotel has great value for the location. They also offer free coffee and tea, has a gym and a patio.

Fantastic location. Closeby Granville & Chinatown & sky/train stations. Lisa helped me check in early. Luckily rooms were avail by 11am. She let me borrow a mug & spoon for tea. My room had a nice view of the stadium & part of downtown. There was a fridge, microwave, & private bathroom as well. Shower had good water pressure. The kitchen on my floor was next door so i had easy access to a kettle. They have complimentary coffee & vending machines next to the reception area. Strong wi-fi signal. Noises: Fridge had a constant buzzing sound. Heater was working but had a periodic tapping sound. You can hear doors open/close at all hours even late at night. Despite the noise, i managed to sleep well. Bed was comfy. Overall, the YWCA offers a decent budget friendly stay with basic amenities. Would recommend.

A good stay in an great spot in Downtown Vancouver.

I like the clean of the room. The one I hate is parking. I came to check in and they told me they don’t have parking available. I drove all the way here to Vancouver and find out I don’t have parking, and I have to drive around for 30 minutes to look for one that is reliable. Also, I am not familiar with the city and this is the most pain for me. The hotel should let customer know in advance instead of until they come to check in, and that is way too late. I will never stay in this hotel anymore.

Loved it

i stayed here and got stuck in the elevator for an hour and a half. so don’t recommend. they tried to make me pay for the maintenance person to come and fix it. the staff took 15 min to let me in the stair case after the fact because i didn’t want to take the elevator again. you have to have a key to use the stairs which is unsafe in my opinion.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and incredibly comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Great location. I would stay there again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a shared washroom situation. Shared bathroom was better than I thought it'd be. Location was good and convenient! You could hear people through the walls / floors sometimes but overall not too noisy. Would stay here again.

Great welcoming from staff

I liked my queen room with private bathroom and the overall cleanliness and convenience of the hotel.

Honest first impressions: Cean. That's my personal number one priority, so they have all the green lights in this department. Area is easy walking, lots of food and grocery close by. Didn't use a car because public transport was enough for me, so I don't know the parking situation for YWCA. Drawbacks: I'm not not big on sharing a bathroom, but I will say that this was not as much an issue as I thought it would be, so not much of a problem at the end of the day. YWCA deserves the positive reviews in my book.

This has become the hotel I choose to come back to when it comes to customer service and guest services they offer the best and hotel I choose to come to for all my accommodation for hockey games or stays in Vancouver

It was very clean and nice. The bed was much nicer than my own bed and I slept much better than usual. Oh, they also have free coffee in the a.m. It's pods, but the coffee quality is as good as what you would get in many cafes.

I stay here often, it’s always my first choice to stay.

it a shared washroom, some don't have good aim and wetting floor. Maybe shared units should be of the same sex as this is gross to walk into in bare feet.

If you are going to a hockey or soccer match excellent place to stay. Everything is walkable.

It was good hotel but when I did reservations they told me they have parking for $30 in night but I arrived there they told me there parking full so they sent me to public parking it was 5 minutes far so that was not convenience .

It was close to Robson street. We could walk to get there.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. A kettle in the bedroom would be nice rather than needing to use the communal kitchen.

Loved staying here! Was so impressed by literally everything. It was so so nice to be able to walk everywhere I needed to go and my room was new and sparkling clean. I will definitely be staying here again when I am back in Vancouver!

It was great location and easy check in and out process

The location was perfect, convenient to everything in the downtown core. Hotel parking was reasonable and very convenient with in/out privileges not possible with any other parking facility. Good quality complimentary (nespresso) coffee, self-service off the lobby. Good quality bed, basic room, nothing fancy but very clean. Fast WiFi. I'll be back for sure.

YWCA Hotel was clean, safe, and affordable. It was also near downtown Vancouver, and you could walk from the hotel to the shopping and dining areas. I was in a standard double room, and it was comfortable enough but no kitchen or safe. All in all, though, I had a good stay.

Really clean and nice room. Nice staff. Good location and walkable to a lot of places. The only thing was that the wifi was down the whole day for one of the days but besides that no complaints.

Good Location

It's reasonably priced. Very central and good location specially if your going to watch concerts or games at Rogers arena or BC Place.

Communal kitchen, lounge, and laundry facilities were great. My suite required a bit of maintenance - hvac system not working properly, t.paper holder not fixed to wall properly. Location was very close to downtown attractions, although many sirens were heard overnight.
