great place

My husband and I stayed here for four nights so that we could do one full day at the falls and two days of remote work. There was a room in the common area that was easy for us to work from before we shut down and hit the pool to relax. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was quite good, and the quality of food in the restaurant exceeded our expectations! We were quite happy to eat there sometimes instead of heading into the city.

Not so good

We thought that a Selva hotel would have trail, some activits for kids, some hot waters. And our bedroom was all day long wet, we could not put ours feet on the floor without shoes. The structures was not good. So we got out one day before, because the kids had nothing to do.

Nossa experiência no Yvy hotel foi excelente. A proposta de estar em meio a mata realmente é especial. Fomos em família e aproveitamos muito. O ponto alto foi o atendimento e a comida. Todos muito cordias e atentos a todas as nossas necessidades

Jungle cottages close to main building

English speaking staff is very helpful with ideas and calling taxis. Pool very refreshing after a long day touring the falls. Dinning room was an unexpected surprise. Dinner was very good, service was responsive, and there was even live music that night that was very enjoyable. You are in the jungle and should be prepared for bugs (front desk does sell bug repellent, if you didn't bring your own).

Beautiful, Convenient and Peaceful experience

I usually think about two main factors when rating a place: Will I go back again and would I recommend to others. Yvy hotel in Iguazu meets both these criterias easily. Very lovely setting, peaceful and secluded in nature, loved our two night stay there.

Good hotel in a lovely situation

Our accommodation was in a lovely cabin set in the peaceful gorest rather like Centre Parks. Just a couple of minutes walk to the swimming pool and reception & dining room. The breakfast was good and evening meal v good. Hotel staff were most welcoming and helpful.

Nice hotel but could be improved

This hotel is located in a nature reserve. It is a beautiful setting with a nice lobby and beautiful pool. The rooms are rather basic but very private and have all of the basic necessities. The only thing we did not like about our tay at this hotel is that it felt like it was only partially open on the weekend we were there. There was hardly any staff around and the pool bar was not open even though it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. Overall we had a fine stay but it could have been so much nicer if the hotel felt like it was fully open and being run more effectively.

Bring on the amazing Iguazu Falls!

Hotel has a large lobby area where the restaurant is located. On the way to duplex style accommodations you will find a very large pool. Rooms was adequately appointed with queen beds, A/C and a large TV. Hotel is located about 5km from town of Iguazu and about 14kms from the entrance to the falls. We had the complimentary breakfast every morning and it was more than adequate. Iquazu Falls were the draw for this trip to northern Argentina and the the falls were amazing!! The Yvy Hotel was sufficient as a place to stay for three nights. The front desk organized for Wilson, a remise driver, to pick us up at the airport and he basically became our chauffeur during our three day stay(at our cost).

What a gem!

Hidden in the Selva (woods) in the outskirts of Iguazu, Yvy is a nice retreat, to spend some relaxing time. The pool allows to cool down in the summer heat and if it is not enough, try los daquiris which are served at the adjacent bar. We also had a dinner there and it was tasty and not pricey at all. Huge lizards roam everywhere and are an amazing sight!

4 Star accomodations in a wilderness setting

The hotel was amazing. It is in a wilderness cabin setting with only about 20 cabins (in pairs) and has a rustic feel around it. The place is well maintained and close to the city - 60 pesos ($12) 5 minute taxi ride to downtown. The staff is very nice and helpful. Hotels.com had a mistake in the reservation on the type of room and both hotels.com customer service and the hotel staff rectified it overnight. Great place and higly recommend it.

Jungle gem!

This hotel is AMAZING. Stayed two nights with my husband to visit Iguazu falls (you haven't lived until you've seen them!) and we were very pleased with everything. Checkout is at 10 am, so we called to ask about a late checkout, which wasn't available, BUT they let you use the facilities (including the wonderful pool) until you have to leave for your flight! Nothing beats that! Breakfast was very good (eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, yummy natural, fresh fruit juice options, coffee, tea, etc) Food from Mua restaurant was good, not amazing but still tasty, it did take about 20 minutes to get a bread basket and about an hour to get our order... Granted we had dinner at 10:20 pm (ends at 11)... VERY reasonable prices except for the water which is about $2.25/bottle (at the everchanging USD exchange rate which was 8 pesos/dollar) Ordered room service a couple times, they forgot our water one time and a knife and fork the second time but they brought it right away and apologized. The staff was so, so nice, there was always a smile on their face and they always tried to help in every way they could. I don't know why anyone would not recommend this hotel, it's the best! Oh and one more thing, I did not get a single mosquito bite so don't bother buying bug repellent, maybe it was just the season.

Pegamos 3 horas para cruzar a fronteira. Nao tem tomada ao lado da cama e tem apenas 1 ponto usb no quarto o que hoje e impossivel. Nossos eletronicos nao carregam. Piscina otima. Compre pesos antes de ir free shop argentino. Conversao deles e pessima.

Im Dschungel gelegen. Freundliches, kompetentes Personal (soweit es das englisch zu lässt). Hotelrestaurant mit Frühstück preiswert und lecker. Die Zimmer sind in Bungalows. Leider durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit ist das Bad für deutsche Verhältnisse äußerst verschimmelt. Ausgangslage zum Nationalpark, Brasilien und Reiten 200m entfernt.

Personal ist sehr freundlich, erfüllt jeden Wunsch sofort. Die Bungallows sind im Regenwald, Mann hört die Natur. Für ein Stadtmensch einmalig. Mit dem Frühstück sollte man aufpassen. Mein Mann hatte am 3. Tag eine unangenehme Lebensmittelvergiftung.

Hotel parece estar "abandonado"

De ponto positivo apenas a localização dentro da selva e a equipe sempre atenciosa. No entanto, o hotel carece muito de manutenção. Tive vários problemas com a fechadura do quarto que não abria com o meu cartão, frigobar fazendo muito barulho à noite, a piscina estava vazia e cheia de folhas (não nos avisaram sobre isso durante a reserva), parecia abandonada. A área externa do hotel e dos quartos nunca foi limpa durante a minha estadia, dando a mesma impressão de hotel abandonado, com muita sujeira espalhada na varanda do quarto e nos caminhos que levam aos quartos. Quartos não são nem um pouco aconchegantes como nas fotos. Café da manhã bem fraco. Enfim, apesar da boa vontade dos atendentes, a falta de cuidado com a apresentação do hotel e de manutenção me levam a não indicar este hotel para ninguém. O hotel Mercure fica colado nele e, apesar de ser mais caro, parece oferecer uma hospedagem infinitamente superior.

Lamentablemente desconocieron la reserva garantizada y pagada con anitcipacion ya que la chica de la reserva se encontraba de franco, se demoraron una hora y media en tener una habitacion limpia ya que el hotel tenia todas las habitaciones sucias segun la recepcion. la imagen proporciona es completamente distinta a la habitacion entregada por el hotel.

Péssimo quarto e péssimo serviço

Tivemos uma noite turbulenta, com muitos barulhos externos e também internos. O frigobar fazia estralos no meio da noite que nos acordou mais de uma vez. Além disso, esqueci uma blusa no armário da suíte, liguei um dia depois para pedir que me enviassem por correio, além de não darem a mínima importância ao meu contato, falaram que não havia blusa alguma. Ou seja, como é certeza que esqueci a blusa lá, algum responsável da limpeza do quarto pegou a blusa. Como houve esse caso, seria muito possível ocorrer episódios de furto enquanto hospedados ainda. Não indico de forma alguma.

Tres bon emplacement, les chambres sont jolies et très propres, le personnel à notre service et très aimable.

Todo el hotel en construccion, ruido y todo desprolijo, la pileta sucia sin filtrar, a 700 de la ruta y para caminar a la noche solo la luz de la luna. Lo mejor el personal, excelente atencion.

Hotel bom porém com estrutura e serviços a quem do esperado e cobrado. Quarto confortável. Café da manhã bom. Serviço pecou por insuficiência de funcionários e por não disponibilizar saca rolhas.

lovely lodge house kind staffs Only problem is every staff can't speak in English so well. but they are lovely and kind. It's located near the airport. so it was a little bit far from Iguazu.

Chalets agréables dans la forêt qui nécessitent un petit rafraîchissement cependant. à 10 minutes du centre ville et un quart d'heure des chutes . Belle piscine . Dommage quelques travaux en cours .
