Staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel was really nice . Also food at hotel was great
Highly Recommended
Location is outside of red light district but this hotel offers the big space and the room is very nice and clean.
YOTEL hitel
Rooms are smañl but cozy and práctical. It us Locatel 16 minutes walk from a pier where there is always a ferry to croos you to the central station at the heart of downtown in 2 minutes
Relaxing weeeknd
Lovely modern hotel. My children loved all the modern lighting and lots of space for relaxing and getting ready in the family room.
Great hotel
Hotel was fantastic, very clean and super effective self service check in but staff was there to help, who were also really friendly. Rooms where everything had been thought about, the inclining bed gave you more room when you wasnt sleeping. All the extras - iron and ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries all include. Great mood lighting option, means you can see the hotel as you walk in as everyone chooses a different colour.
This was quite the surprise for an inexpensive hotel in Amsterdam! Love the bar, good restaurant on site and the 24hr snack bar was great! It’s Europe so rooms of course are small but this room had cool features with mood lighting and even an adjustable bed! It’s about a 10 minute walk to the closest bus station or 20 minute walk to the train, so not terrible. I will most certainly stay here again next year when I come back!
Cleaning staff was horrible, randomly showing up each day at a random time from 8am-5pm. Absolutely ridiculous, I was sick and at times just needed a nap and even having the thing on the door saying not to bother, they still bang on the door. The hotel it’s self was nice and front desk staff were nice but also none of them seemed to be local so when I would ask for recommendations they would always suggest something 30 minutes away and then you look some things up yourself and realize there’s options within 5-10 minutes. Property its self was nice and clean and I enjoyed the gym and having the restaurant option. But please get some staff that can get into a routine with the cleaning and some staff that actually know the area they are working in.
Nice staff. Be aware of city taxes or extra taxes upon arrival
amazing
Room is nice but the shower and toilet walls are see through so not much privacy. Reception staff really disinterested and rude. Bar and dining staff were nice. Room was clean apart from the carpets which needed hoovering and a good wash. Location wasn’t great, not much around to dine, ferry to get to Amsterdam city centre is an 18min walk. Parking was expensive and you can’t go in and out without being charged per hour rather than night rate.
Very modern hotel, brilliant rooms and facilities. Only downfall is it’s on the middle of nowhere.
Great property feels secure and safe, staff always ready to help if needed but they have a self check in process which makes everything a little easier,,short walk from the hotel to the ferry port over to centraal on a free ferry..surrounding area is a lot more chilled and peaceful in relation to the chaos of the canal rings,, my only moan is regarding the food,,we had a breakfast there but it wasn't the best,,mainly the scramble egg and weird chicken sausages ,we also ordered a pepperoni pizza but didn't end up eating as it was swimming in oils from the meat,,each pepperoni had a teaspoon of oil sat in it so I left the pizza in the box leaning sideways and must have got around quarter pint of oil/fat drip out,,they have onsite gym and also there own bike rental if needed. On the whole this is a great property and it's destination is perfect for venturing around the different districts of Amsterdam as well as close enough to get into the city centre.
Cosy modern rooms, sightly near central (18m walk). Staff always kind and helpful. Good food out on the deck. However poor ventilation in rooms.
Fancy
Very nice junior suite. Big, clean, all the amenities. But the bed was not comfortable. Not sure how it got messed up already (new hotel) but i "fell through". Other than that grwat
Great property, but North Amsterdam it's not so great
Nice stay
A lot of pavement construction around..walking with suitcase not ideal. Ferry is free so nice and easy to reach central station. Room is small but very well planed
Yotel Amsterdam -Review
Hi liked the decor and the check in / out process. Although it was a little way out not far to walk to the subway or the shops. A good place to stay when visiting Amsterdam
Very modern property. Breakfast was good & convenient. Loved the canal view in the morning.
Good clean hotel parked motorcycle for free no charge which was nice and felt safe leaving bike in carpark.staff were nice and pleasant free regular shutle ferry across the river to Amsterdam centre. Overall good hotel breakfast same as most euro hotels not the best cooked breakfast options but most euro hotels don't do a proper English breakfast. Would stay here again value for money
Comfortable stay
Nice quite stay in a new clean hotel
Hotel is unique with Self check in and no cash policy. Property is spacious, clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Location is less than ideal if wanting to be in the downtown tourist district Took Uber to get there. Ferry is available but is a longer walk than the hotel info indicates
Alles in Ordnung.
Nett, sauber, gepflegt. Kleine Zimmer, aber zweckmäßig, sauber und durchdacht. Freundliches Personal. 10 min Walk zur Fähre zum Hbf.
Great hotel on the north side of the river. Transport links are easily accessible by short walk.
fantastic location
Lovely place but the cheap rooms are small
Hotel was great, very modern style, staff were very pleasant, it was all very clean, The drinks prices were on a par with the rest of the city, didn't try the food. I think the area is perhaps up and coming, but the hotel at present has the feel of being on an industrial estate - there are a couple of facilities around. Compared to other hotels i felt it was good value, but a little bit of a pain to have to take either a 20min walk plus a ferry or a 3 min walk, one stop on the 38 bus and a ferry to get to the main city centre. It wasnt difficult and both the ferry and the bus were at great frequencies - but it felt a bit of a pain to have the day in the city then have to do the ferry/bus/walk thing back to the hotel to get changed and then same back again for evening out. If you dont mind the back and forth then its a great hotel - we would go back again.
Amazing hotel, amazing service from amazing staff
Our 4-night stay was amazing on our first trip to Amsterdam. Great location (27 minutes walk from Amsterdam centraal); Superb service from amazing staff; I especially need to thank Ms. Jack and Mr. Adam Lata for all their efforts to make sure we were 100% satisfied. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
Pleasant stay
Out the way from everyone but still within reasonable walk to get over to cetraal.
Absolutely beautiful property
The hotel itself if great. Super modern, clean, extremely comfy beds and very quiet. Also has a great little gym. The location is a bit of a pain. It's a 20-25 min walk to Centraal and literally anywhere as it's in the middle of nowhere. They advertise food & drink vouchers if you don't opt for fresh linen but you don't actually get the vouchers...
hotel was very clean and the staff where very friendly, but the hotel was abit of a walk to get to where everything was
Queen room is very small, with toilet and shower being next to the bed and separated only with glass doors, which don't fully separate them from the room itself. The location of the hotel is terrible if you dont have your own or rented car. We basically spent more than 100 euros for two days of the stay, since public transport was often late or it would take more than 40 minutes to reach central areas of the city. Surely price is not fair and I would advise to book smt more expensive in the southern part of the city rather than saving money on this kind poor accomodation.
On the river
The rooms are not worth the price. Very tiny with no space to manoeuvre. The bathroom door was not closing properly so the water kept flooding the room. House keeping did not clean the room properly even after putting the tag for the room to be cleaned. Most stuff are friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel but a fair distance from central Amsterdam or any metro stations
Room was extremely small and had stains on the sheets and the carpet. There's a fee to check in early. Checking in and out is done on your own. There is no sense of hospitality. The wifi barely worked in the room. The hotel has limited transportation and is a long walk to the ferry or the train. The only thing I liked about the hotel is they provided rental umbrellas. Would not recommend.
READ FINE PRINT
I booked this hotel 5 months in advance and tried to cancel it a week later and they did not give me a refund. They took the entire amount.
Very nice staff and really good rooms. So close to the centraal station and good food.
The customizable room (LED spectrum lighting, bed that reclines to couch) and the tv with streaming is a huge plus. The hotel is catered towards younger people for sure. Really vibrant vibe.
Nice contemporary hotel close to Ferry to central station. Resturant had lovely food and staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was very well appointed with everything you need.
Very pleasant stay, better public transport needed
A lovely hotel with good service and modern facilities. The only downside is the location. The area is being massively redeveloped and there’s not much around there at the moment. Nearest public transport is the free ferry, 15-20 minutes away, to Amsterdam Centraal.
Staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I will come back to visit. It made the trip so very sweet. The location is a quick walk to the ferry and train but a distance away that made coming back to the hotel so sweet and quiet. Excellent service. Thank you to all!
Great for a short stay
The room was very clean although quite compact especially as a family of 3 sharing it. Not much storage and unfortunately we were unable to use the fridge as it smelt of weed. Although the staff were friendly there was long delays when dealing with requests and often left looking for staff.
Perfect stay
Everything was great.. Hotel was a bit farther from ferry than expected, but no issue.
It's a hotel with lots of new technology, only problem is the room is very small, once the bed is extended from it's upright position, very little room to go by, I even hit the bed frame a couple of times, hurting pretty badly.
lovely hotel a little out of the way but was only a 15 minute walk to free public transport so it gave us plenty of exercise and was a lovely walk on the hot days
A/c back es controlado por el deck Mucho calor. Habia q estar llamando a la recepción para resert el sistema de 23 a 18 grado a los 5 mts estaba en 23 otra vez Si eco pero necesitan poner fan pq no hay ventanas
Very nice
Amazing staff very helpful Hotel bike rental too expensive
I can’t remember I guess it’s OK
The room was tight and we did have a lot of luggage so that didn’t help but overall it was comfortable. It has a restaurant and their drinks are great!
Yotel Amsterdam was clean, spacious, and very nice. A great property for the price.
Yotel was a very modern hotel. Bed was super comfortable. Neon mirrors were cool
Everything you need in compact affordable room
Every thing on the room was compact but enough for the needs, very good quality of the products, very clean, pleasants employees, very affordable, excellent
Very comfortable, clean. Cheerful and helpful staff. Great food in the restaurant. Cold beer in the bar. Good shower. Access to parking very difficult.
Very clean and nice looking rooms, the property is not as close to downtown as I thought
Super clean and comfy. Kinda in the middle of nowhere but not too far from the train station if you walk (or cycle)
Very nice place, comfortable with good facilities. It was a little far from the centre of town so travel was inconvenient however
Good
Good service
Loved the outdoor area with lounge seating right on an isolated private canal. The rooms are very small but modern and clean with everything you need. The lobby is very nice with self served coffee, drinks and snacks 24 hours/day. The staff was super friendly and helpful at all hours. Right across the street is a great museum with an amazingly good restaurant The Cafe- a must! The walk to center city was short, 15 min with a quick ferry ride, and allowed us to enjoy living like locals, and be close to all attractions without staying in the middle of all the noise and bustle. Yotel was SO QUIET! I think the rooms must be sound proof? We were very happy we chose it!
Great location short walk from boat to city centre room small but clean. Staff quite rude.
The room was the perfect size for us and very clean. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Staff were wonderful and very helpful, we ordered food from the restaurant which was delicious. The only thing we would say is be prepared to walk if you intend to explore the city centre. The hotel is a walking distance away even if you include the public transport system.
I will recommend all there staff especially the front desk and the bartender from Italy. I love this place. Quiet location and close to Central Station.
Everyone from the front desk to restaurant/bar was very pleasant. Lots of green features. They give you credit for getting your room service after three days. Not far from the commuter ferry. The soundproof rooms are a plus! The area is still being developed, gives me a reason to come back and see the finished product!
Great room, very clean, accessible to downtown by ferry.
Great hotel and it will be well dtuated when the building in the local area is complete
great for wheelchair accessibility-beds move up and down, large shower, and the staff were very helpful.
Average
The service and visuals are stunning, but the overall room is lacking, firstly the AC has a minimum of 18C with the shower & bathroom they are translucent and with no ability to open any windows makes it more awkward
Nice and clean. Location is quiet and safe but not so convenient.
Nice modern motel. Good dining options with good food and staff. Also nice grab and go cart to purchase stuff. Rooms clean, quiet and very modern. Only complaint is VERY FIRM beds. Bed head raises which is nice to watch TV. Not a lot around it but easy to just Uber to places
Great stay
Stayed here for 3 nights a very comfortable well laid out room with everything I needed. I had the option to opt out of room service to earn 2 £5 off breakfast vouchers which I did. The price for breakfast was €17 which I think was a bit too steep. Be sure to include in your booking. The location is a 15 - 20 minute walk to the ferry which takes you to Amsterdam Central but there is a local bus too.
All over was great area only location is inconvenient
Good hotel
Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Good price, 15 min walk to the ferry. Ferry transfer is free. Had to pay city tax 50 euros for 3 nights. Tea, coffee, snacks available at a hotel for a fee. Breakfast 39 euros for two people.
Great place to stay. Not to bad of a walk to the ferries. Great atmosphere and very clean. Love the back yard area.
Good hotel
Nice clean hotel - room quite small and in a very remote location - friendly staff.
Yotel Amsterdam
It was okay except the room was too small and uncomfortable. Hardly any space to move around. That is suitable for one person only.
A very nice hotel which is on the outskirts of the center
Was okay
Nice spot outside the heart of the city
The area was a little off the beaten path which was nice because it was a little more quiet. The food and drinks at the restaurant were good. There was a nice looking gym, however I did not use it because we walked around so much. A lot of construction was going on around the area which made it a little more of a challenge to get to when walking with luggage, but would stay there again.
Ideal
A little out of the way which was perfect for us. Beautiful, clean hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant was also great!
The hotel room was good and clean everything was up to standard
I am always impressed with my stays at a Yotel. The company does an amazing job hiring kind, enthusiastic and helpful staff.
Because we stayed for a week we decided to upgrade to the first class room to give us more room and that worked out great! I think if we were just staying a night or two the standard room would have been fine. The hotel is located in north neighborhood of Amsterdam which is mostly commercial so there wasn’t a lot of choice for restaurants close by, but when we were back at the hotel in the evening we ate at the cafe and everything we had was very good. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to get to the ferry, but we like to walk and it felt very safe. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We actually liked being a bit away in a more quiet area and enjoyed the Deck on one of the sunny evenings we had. It was a very good choice for the price and we would stay there again
The rooms in the property is very short is size, there is no space for walk and the per night charges of yotel rooms are extremely extremely Super High. Also, the washroom doors are transparent so, if you are staying with 3 people it’s difficult to adjust You can get better Rooms or better Airbnbs or better hostels on Yotel rates in entire amsterdam I will suggest not to visit Yotel Amsterdam This was my First and last experience.
Do not stay here if you are trying to visit Amsterdam. It's a 20-minute walk to the ferry (but at least the ferry is free). There is literally NOTHING around, no restaurants. The breakfast offered at the hotel is super expensive. The rooms are crazy small and the bed doesn't fully lay flat. Super unimpressed with Yotel.
The reclining bed was odd and noisy.
Great services easy access simplified
Room size too small
Great accommodation
Only issue was there was no window so sore throat upon waking up
Nice waterside location, staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms not the biggest but more than enough for what we needed for 3 nights. Liked the fact you could connect your netflix etc to the tv if needed or wanted to. 3/4 mins walk to the nearest bus stop which take you to the free ferry across to central station. 15/20 mins walk to A'Dam lookout, the Amsterdam experience too. We loved that we could wscape the hustle and bustle of the city but only be minutes away at the same time. Check in and out very easy. Mini fridge included as well as toiletries, towels, iron and ironing board, coathangers and 2 glasses for drinking. There was also a safe in the room and the bed was adjustable. Would certainly stay here again or in one of their other properties.
Peaceful and pleasant
Excellent location and facilities.
Short but nice stay, just outside the main city but a 20 min walk/ boat shuttle to the city center will consider this location again
The property was excellent. The people was friendly.
Lovely hotel all the staff was very kind and helpful!
Lovely hotel, clean and very helpful & friendly staff. Would recommend.
Staff was extremely down to earth and hotel was clean.
Wow! What an amazing stay we had. On arrival, Jack was so helpful when checking in and answered our many questions. Sofia was also brilliant and was able to provide us with useful information throughout our stay. All of the other staff were also brilliant, but didn’t get any of their names. The hotel itself was IMMACULATE! Cannot fault them for a thing! Hopefully, in the future, we will return to Amsterdam and we have already said that we would definitely stay at Yotel!
A very modern and safe hotel.
