Unique and beautiful, Yndo Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Yndo Hotel. Such a beautiful and unique property. The interior design is amazing and each room has its own distinctive style. It did not feel like a hotel but someone’s personal home. Thank you for your generous hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The property is beautiful and the room was very nice and comfortable. There is a beautiful courtyard with Flowers and trees that is very inviting. The staff is wonderful and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning.

Superb hotel

Great hotel, excellent room, fantastic service and super professional staff.

Rooms smell like sewage

The service is good but the room smells like feces. I asked to change rooms , the second room also smell like feces. Apparently , it has something to do with the plumbing.

If you are looking for a charming hotel, in a very quiet area. This is the place. A beautiful house, friendly and helpful staff. But if you are looking for a 5-star hotel, what means luxury category, this is not the place. I would consider a Superior category hotel, however, not a 5-star one

Magnifique, unique et très agréable boutique hôtel. Un peu en retrait donc paisible.Nous avions une chambre complètement nouvelle donc quelques petites fonctionnalités à mettre au point mais le personnel attentif a tout fait pour nous rendre le séjour agréable. Déjeuner buffet fait maison et très généreux, vélos disponibles. Une adresse classe, distinctive et onéreuse mais parfaite pour une escapade romantique. À recommander.

The hotel has only a few rooms but each has a theme and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff is outstanding. There was a bit of difficulty finding entrance and a bit of a walk to the areas we were interested in visiting but there is plenty of nearby transportation

A wonderful boutique hotel. Within walking distance to all the major attractions, yet tucked away in a tranquil oasis. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Staff was great. We changed rooms as the crazy room was uncomfortable and second room was much better. Breakfast was good and restaurant was closed for dinner the day we tried to eat there. A nice way to get off the standard corporate hotel.

Beautiful lobby, no housekeeping, poor bathroom

Housekeeping never came to clean our room although we specifically asked at the desk for our room to be cleaned when we went out for three hours. The sheets are rough like sandpaper so had to give low rating on comfort. The bathroom flooded when you ran the shower. The decor of the lobby is beautiful. The garage space and entrance was tiny, and we had a tiny car (mini Cooper) and would have been impossible to park or go in and out with a larger car.

Excellent small hotel in great location. Staff was 10 star!! Only downside was our in room coffee machine did not work. I highly recommend this little jewel.

Wonderful stay!

Charming small hotel located in the centre of Bordeaux. The secret room is a real bargain and the hosts are particularly friendly and attentive. A real gem!

Wonderful Chateau in the City

Amazing building with character, beautiful reception rooms and outdoor area, along with spacious bedrooms. Suoer-friendly staff always happy to assist! City centre only a 10min walk and great restaurants within just a few minutes' walk too.

We just loved the hotel! The rooms are amazing! Each room has a specific decoration! Everyone is really friendly… The breakfast is the best. We also loved the location, close to downtown and all restaurants!

Tastefully decorated old mansion, with all modern creature comforts. Delicious breakfast and very courteous service.

Cute hotel missing some special touches

The hotel is chic and designed nicely. It is small and quaint. I found the bed uncomfortable and wasn’t table to sleep well at night. We were staying in the stable room (cozy chic) I found it a little noisy as it was right next to the car park and we were told that’s the only room available so I wasn’t able to upgrade. The location is nice you are a 10 min walk from the centre. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, I ordered poached eggs and revived a boiled egg, I also asked for a fruit plate and received fruits that were pre cut and put in the fridge. The croissants were nice. Some of the staff were friendly and some were not. Room does not have a coffee machine or a kettle, No shower cap either.

Fantastic boutique hotel with exquisite and friendly service We wish our stay was longer as we were only there one night. Eclectic but complimentary furnishings are of interest in themselves.

2nd time here, perfect as before. This Hotel is amazing. Every single detail, every piece of furniture, every single fitting has been specifically chosen to compliment everything else around it. The owner has an amazing eye for design The staff are awesome, nothing is a problem.

Best little hotel in Bordeaux

This hotel was a beautiful little piece of luxury. All rooms were decorated impeccably and differently. The staff was friendly attentive and we couldn’t have been happier. Breakfast was tasty with good options. Dinner was somewhat limited but the choice of dining establishments nearby was easily negotiated. Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood that need for a relax stay.

Great hotel with a great sens of the details and a very kind staff.

True 5 star luxury gem

This is a pure design gem, true 5 star hotel in the heart of beautiful Bordeaux. We stayed in the Crazy room, which was perfect, Lina Rosetti couches, wood beamed eaves and a bed that gave the best nights sleep. Apparently hand made and only 50 in the world - I want one! This was an old palatial residence that has been refurbed to the highest standard. Staff were superb. Perfect in every way.

Charming hotel with a kind and attentive staff!

Our stay was excellent! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We were greeted upon arrival and our bag was immediately taken to our room. Juliet was particularly helpful and assisted in booking a wine tour, a city tour, and dinner the night of our arrival. We stayed in the 'Secret Room' and found it comfortable and perfectly charming. The outdoor patio was beautiful and secluded and we enjoyed a glass of wine both evenings we were there. This hotel is a 10-15 minute enjoyable walk to the city center which makes it convenient and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Inside Bordeaux city

The YNDO is a unique place to stay. Small, cozy, friendly, with a tiny but delicious dining area. Breakfast was super! Fresh oysters were the freshest and best ever! Location is a couple of blocks off the busy area, which is good and quiet.

Great location and intimate Bordelaise hotel. Staff very friendly and treated you as if you were home . Stay a minimum two nights to experience hotel and the city attractions, most of which are walking distance from hotel.

Beautiful, unique hotel with superb service

The reviews for the Yndo cannot do it justice. The hotel staff and beautiful hotel property are superb, and made our short stay in Bordeaux beyond memorable and wonderful. Every aspect of our stay was 5 star quality, especially the lovely meals which we enjoyed on the peaceful terrace. We also discovered a love for the handmade banana jam, and other perfectly made dishes. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend making use of the hotel bikes to tour around town!

Relaxed with great service

This hotel is hidden away but close to the major attractions. We walked everywhere except the station. Can’t say enough about the staff. Every request was done immediately. Breakfast was delicious if basic. For a small hotel it was excellent.

Cozzy and well located boutique hotel

This hotel es well located atound 500 meters from everything yet out of the tourist busstle. Rooms are well seized. The staff is really what makes a difference. They are outstanding! Served us dinner at 1130 pm when we arrived from a long flight! They really gonout of their way to please.

Incredible stay

An incredibly special place - like staying with a thoughtful friend. We had a 'crazy room', which was beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable it was hard to drag ourselves out to see the city. Shower was amazing. Service throughout our stay was gracious and pleasant, from an excellent glass of wine on the terrace at night to a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning. We will definitely find a way to come back!

Wonderful Boutique Hotel

The Yndo is the most wonderful boutique hotel! Staff was extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. The room was contemporary and beautifully designed. Don't pass up on breakfast. Homemade jams and yogurt... and everything was delicious! Our only regret is that we had booked only a one-night stay.
