Very nice rooms

Yiwu Marriot hotel

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are well trained and for them nothing is too small to attend to. They are truly remarkable and my compliments to management and staff.

Second time ive stayed here and i love it.

If using public transportation, you will need to use the exhibition bus and get dropped off near District 2 (east). Very nice hotel as expected from a Marriott class hotel, gym was nice as well. Would stay again

Clean, Pretty but Bad Service

Hotel was ok. Only 1-2 working elevotors working with a packed hotel. That was frustrating. Room was clean and spacious. Restaurant on the 1st floor has horrible service. My last night, I was pretty much ignored by check-in staff. Literally had to walk to the mall to get something to eat. Want to get a morning coffee? Nope. Not unless you shell out for their buffet. Was told to walk 300m to a local store to get a coffee. Really? I travel to Yiwu every 6-8 weeks for work. Lots of other options with better service. I won't be back to the Marriott.

Terribly run hotel

They built a 280 room hotel with enough facilities for 100 rooms. 30 min wait to check in or check out. Food is terrible. Not one vegan option on the room service menu. Not one. Almost nothing on the dinner buffet as well. So I ordered in. Never got a call that it was delivered. So I dialed 0, I got a person saying "no English". Asked to be transferred, all I kept getting was "no English". Went down and the food was sitting at the concierge cold, no one cared enough to bring it up or even tell me it arrived. Long line for breakfast so they try to send you out to the lobby to eat. I'm surprised Marriott let's them keep their name on this hotel.

Beautiful and would return in cooler weather

Gorgeous hotel and room. Lovely bathtub. Great pool and gym. Breakfast buffet was really good. Only problem was the room could not keep up with the intense heat outside. When it is so hot I like to keep my home very cool and do the same when in a hotel. I wasn't able to here which made it hard to use the bathtub and sleep at night. I would not return here in summer but would gladly go back when the weather is cool.

3 nights stay

I suppose depending on location where the hotel is you can expect certain quality and service level. Pillows were very bad and it was very hot in the room, we couldn’t make the room cooler. Also, food prices (restaurant and room service) were extremely high for what you get, and some food quality and taste is not even close to what it should be in this level of hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel many times, and always leave very happy, is one of the best hotels in my trips, comfortable good location in yiwu, and nice staff. Very recomendable

I liked the room. It was spacious and the view was very nice.

The room was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Ian spoke excellent English and check in and out was seamless. The folks at the concierge called me a taxi to the airport, which cost me about $13 Canadian dollars. The only really negative side was the lovely swimming pool, which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. They would not allow me entrance without a swimming cap and then did not have any to loan (like some places do) but rather wanted me to pay $20 CDN to buy one. I wanted to swim for an hour or so and that seemed a bit much after already paying to use the facilities for the night ( or so I thought). I suggest they sell caps at cost, or loan them for free (the spandex type they were selling can be laundered. Sadly I missed the pool and hot tub.

Great location across the Market. Has a nice mall right behind the hotel that no one ever mentions. This is the nicest hotel I have been to in China in all four trips I have done so far including GZ, SZ and now Yiwu. Stop looking for a western style hotel and book at the Mariott now.

Can a hotel be rated higher than a 5 star??!

Wow. Rooms, service... everything... 5 stars easily.

Good location to market. Dining options near by in every direction. 1/2 hour taxi ride to train. Breakfast buffet is good assortments. Lounge is pricing , if you want to stop for a couple of drinks after the day.

Modern structure, right across the street from the trade center district 1. Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, staff are nice and attentative. The elevator is a bit confusing and the lobby is on the 6th floor.

Nice hotel in convenient area, walking distance to the shopping mall and trade centre. Rooms are big and clean, good service.

Nice Hotel with Room for Improvement

Staff were friendly but services needed added training to meet 5 stars standard and expectations. We have booked 4 rooms on the Executive Floor and were treat all differently. Some rooms have welcoming fruit plate and some did not. Some has bubble bath gel and others didn't. Overall services were very inconsistent.

This is the best hotel in Yiwu. Great gym and very comfortable and spacious rooms. The location is great if you are going to the market place.

I had a very unpleasant experience with a trainee chef but the manager on duty SAM LING handled it.

The breakfast is amazing. Many choice of food are available. Shopping centre has sprung up in the next bloock and make it very convenience. The District 1 & 2 is within walking distance. Staffs is very professional and speak good english. They are also very helpfull and put on a smiling face.

Nice hotel located near international trade center

Nice hotel that is walking distance to the international trade market and mall (both are across the street). Super convenient location. The mall has a great selection of food and is way cheaper than the hotel, highly recommend checking it out. The hotel room was great, very spacious and clean. My only complaint is that we ran out of Kleenex for two days and the room attendant did not bother to replace the room with a new box, they simply left the plastic container laying out on the bathroom counter with the lid discarded on the side. ?? It seemed as though they forgot it was there.

Great hotel and location

Had the most wonderful experience at the Marriott yiwu. Everything from super friendly staff to great location. Even room clean service is meticulous. Beds are so comfy and big. I don’t think our first business trip to China could have been productive and fun without our stay at the Marriott.

Highly recommended

We had a business trip for 10 days and we couldnt find a room for the first 5 night at this hotel so we booked in Shangri-la. I've tried the Mariott before and i was comparing evrything to it in shangri-la. By far, Mariott overpass shangrila in everything. We had to check out from shangrila and check-in in Mariott once we found available rooms. The hotel was fully booked at my stay, yet the service was very good. We had only two bad experiences, we asked for a late check out but the front desk didnt give us even an extra minute. We asked for currency exchange right after the check out and again the front desk employee diclined our request because we checked out.

Close to market and beautiful

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are excellent and the staff are as accommodating as can be. It is very close to the market. It has an excellent breakfast buffet with almost everything you can imagine. As for lunch and dinner they are not as good- It would be really nice if there was more vegetarian and/or vegan options on the menu. This is my new go to hotel in Yiwu.

Beautiful hotel

The room was beautiful and had an amazing view, but the bathtub was broken :(. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet was extensive but we got tired of the same thing everyday and ate out near the end.

Nice hotel near the International trade market

I had a very pleasent stay at Marriott Yiwu hotel. Good breakfast, clean room and helpful staff. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Yiwu.

Excellent hotel in Yiwu

Beautiful rooms, and the personnel is much better than other hotels I have been to in Yiwu but could still use a little work in comparison to other Marriotts. The breakfast buffet is excellent and has a ton of variety. It also has a very well equipped gym. I did not use the other facilities this trip but I have already booked my next trip back in september.

WONDERFUL HOTEL AND STAFF!!

Fist time in Yiwu China and 1st time staying at the Marriot. I completely enjoyed my experience. The staff is wonderful and always willing to help. The Free Buffet breakfast is actually the BEST breakfast i have ever had in ANY hotel with a great variety and friendly staff. I cannot say anything bad about this hotel even if i wanted because they have it all so perfect!! I am doing business now in China and will be staying in this resort when i return which will be about 1-2 times a year now. I HIGHLY recommend this place as alone on the buffet breakfast, is enough to beat out ANY hotel near there in Yiwu.

Un buen hotel con comida internacional, situado a una calle del market y a otra de un mall. Buen servicio, cómodos, limpios, buena comida , todo lo esperado de un marriot . Regresare la próxima vez , mi estadía estuvo completa y tranquila .

有質素的酒店

房間很大，整潔舒適，服務員有禮，熱心主動幫忙，唯一是有一天客人的房間沒有打掃衛生，但整體很滿意

시설도 좋지만 서비스가 너무 좋습니다 친절하고 문제가 생기면 적극 도와주며 채했다고 했더니 택시비용만 받고 약도 사다줘서 너무 감동했습니다. 헬스장도 좋고 조식도 맛있었습니다. 단 비지니스 라운지 음식은 바뀌지 않아 몇일동안 이용할때 좀 질렸고 수영장은 아기들이 계속 강습을 받아 이용하기 좀 힘들었습니다.이우 도매시장이 바로 앞이라 도매시장 이용하시는 분들은 정말 강력추천드립니다
