The owner is very friendly and kind! The breakfast is really good as well!!

This was my 3rd stay but first under the new (ish) owners. Checkin was easy. The code to the door worked, parking was close and accessible, and the room was well appointed. I had made an online request to have real cream for my coffee instead of the powered Coffeemate and I found a fresh pot of cream in my mini fridge upon arrival. The location was handy to my family’s home in south Walkerville and the neighbourhood was beautifully lit with Christmas lights and decorations. I would absolutely stay here again.

A vintage jewel!

This bed and breakfast inn is a vintage jewel in beautiful historic Walkerville. Such a warm and personable owner who takes obvious pride in preparing an exceptional 5 star breakfast for her guests. Each room has its own private washroom and everything was very clean. Water bottles, coffee, and tea were always handy too! And so close to many wonderful restaurants!

It’s a beautiful old home. Renee is friendly and great to deal with. The 2 twin bed room was elegant with comfortable beds and superior linens. I have nothing but positive words to say. And the breakfast….wow. You will not be leaving hungry that’s for sure. From cheese to breads to fruit to eggs to sausage to bacon to yogurt, you will long for nothing. I will absolutely come back and stay again.

The hostess Rene , is outstanding. She is kind, funny and extremely helpful. Best breakfast ever! I can not emphasize how wonderful she is! She goes out of her way to make sure that you have everything you need.

Lovely 120 year old house in historic area.

I felt like we were being treated like royalty. Beautiful building and even nicer interior. Comfy bed and amazing jacuzzi. We sat by the fire and read for much of our time here. We didn’t stay for breakfast but it smelled delightful. Next time we will have breakfast as well! Renee was so helpful and friendly.

Property and host (Renee) were great. Excellent breakfast; huge and tasty with great variety. Fresh fruit, yogurt, bacon and 2 types of sausage, and pancakes! Chocolate cake and cheese. Coffee of course. Room was nice and comfy.

2 nights during a busy weekend in August

Rene and Richard were amazing host. Everything was more than we expected. We also got a free upgrade to the biggest suite in the house which was super nice, but we would also be very please with any other room there. The breakfast was superb. When I asked to use the microwave, they were not hesitate and showed me the kitchen, offered plates, napkins, cutlery. When I mentioned we wont be able to stay for breakfast one of the morning, Rene offered breato go for us. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely will stay again when in Windsor.

Our bike tires and items were stolen overnight. They were locked on car which was parked on the street in front of property.

A pleasant stay in a 100+ year old house. Convenient to Windsor bars and restaurants.

Best Choice in Windsor!

I always choose BandB over hitels for the personal touch and cleanliness. This place is not only very clean but the hostess is exceptionally personable. Went the extra mile to make us comfortable for our 3 day visit. If recieved a free room upgrade to our surprise! Breakfast was very good with fresh fruits and yogurt. Bacon sausage and eggs...and more! Room was air conditioned and King size bed. Beautiful spa tub as well. This will be my choice of stay for Windsor trips for sure!

Enjoyed the lovely, clean room and exceptionally comfortable bed with beautiful linens. A small bar fridge in the room was convenient. Only complaint would be the older soap and hair product dispensers in the washroom. The hair conditioner was empty and they were a bit difficult to use. The hostess was cheerful and accommodating. Enjoyed my stay and would return.

I loved this B&B - it was so cute, and made me feel like I was staying at a home belonging to a great aunt - it was so comfortable and familiar somehow. Renee was such an excellent host, and I loved going down for breakfast and getting the opportunity to chat with and get to know both Renee and my fellow lodgers. I’d definitely recommend this B&B to others others <3

Walkerville charm

Overnight stay during the Christmas holidays. Wasn't expecting much from a 100+ yr old home but the place was clean, convenient and in good shape. Host was helpful and pleasant. Nothing fancy but quaint and charming.

Lovely Christmas decorations...bed was very comfortable...easy to get to from the highway...clean and quiet. Will stay again on my next trip to Windsor.

Ye Old Walkerville B&B

The service was over and beyond what I expected. Great communication from hosts. Brilliant service. Availability of ones every needs without fuss. And the breakfast, very generous hosts. This is my new go to place to stay to recommend to anyone visiting Windsor, ON. And of course, a historic building located in historic Walkerville. Simply a treasure!

Warm and clean

Very home-like. Great owner, she was very sweet and personable, also upgraded our room for us free of charge! Very safe neighborhood and decently easy parking. No complaints! Will be coming back here next visit.

Facility, service and breakfast were excellent! Arriving late evening meant street parking was some distance away.

Renee, our hostess, was absolutely wonderful. She is very respectful and engaged in conversations with the guests. She greeted you at the door coming and going. The room my hubby and I stayed in was outstanding. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The breakfast was wonderful. There is no way that you can go hungry with Renee feeding you. Croissants, toast, fruit, yogurt parfaits, and the main breakfast dish. Oh my word!! Renee also had an assistant. I forget her name, but she was just as friendly and delightful. You cannot go wrong with this Bed and Breakfast location. Within walking distance to Little Italy. The B&B is also very close to the USA and Canada border crossing. Thank you Renee. You are a treasure!!

Such a beautiful old home. Cozy and quaint. Renee and her staff were wonderful.and very welcoming, maki g us feel right at home.

Renee was so kind to greet us as we arrived late after the Tiger game in Detroit. PShe assisted with my walker as I ascended the stairs to our second floor bedroom. Bedroom and bathroom were meticulously clean. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever been served at a B&B. Should we ever find ourselves in Windsor again, we would be delighted to stay again at this B&B. Renee, WELL DONE!

Had a one night stay in the attic room and it was fun! Plenty of space while at the same time cozy. The B&B is in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood, but we could walk about 1.2 kms. to a shopping area with restaurants. Expect an eclectic decor if you stay here.

A quaint old fashion property with very clean and functional facilities in a distinguised part of town. We were there for only one brief night with no opportunity to sample their tempting breakfast menu. Many B&Bs will not accept less than a two-night stay and we were happy to find them.

Quiet, good wahroom inside the room. Safe. Parkong is first come first serve but we were the only guests that evening who had a car so we were fine. Neighbourhood is very quiet. Relaxing stay.

A quaint building with old fashioned charm. It had everything we needed for our stay. The woman who ran it was very accommodating and eager to help.

The accommodations were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. There were fresh cookies available and a Keurig machine for us to make a cup of coffee if we liked. Our hkostess was wonderful- very friendly and knowledgeable and a great cook! Our breakfast was exceptional (extra charge for the breakfast, but definitely worth it. This was our third stay here and we will come back again!

The owners are so accommodating. I called to advise my flight was delayed by hours thinking I’d have to book elsewhere, they were kind and allowed me to come in late. The area is safe, the home is so beautiful and clean. The room was cozy, all the things you need. Plenty of pillows on a comfy bed!

The place is about a mile from the train station (where we were headed). A very pleasant walk to the station if you just walk down Monmouth Road. We could walk to great restaurants and other services. We really enjoyed it.

I loved staying in a home that was built in 1903, keeping its charm yet with a totally updated bathroom, TV and wifi. Because of Covid restrictions I received a bagged breakfast with enough food to last me all day. The owner was very welcoming and made me feel as if I was in my own home. I have already booked my next stay.

Lovely heritage property. Host is fantastic. Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was served in three courses and was lovely.

Wonderful charming B&B

We had a wonderful stay in this charming B&B. Renee was a warm and generous host. Breakfast was a major highlight; she serves up a feast! We were very satisfied with the COVID precautions. There was hand sanitizer provided at the door, guests wore masks when not eating, and Renee let guests stagger their breakfast times as desired. The wifi worked perfectly and we enjoyed having a private bathroom. I look forward to booking at the Ye Olde Walkerville B&B next time I'm in Windsor.

The house was great and it was very clean. We had a very comfortable king bed. Our host Renee was friendly, responsive and an all around delight. We will stay here again if in the area.

Old world charm and comfort

The owner is very welcoming and the minute you walk in, you feel the old world charm: from the decor to the homemade cookies that are under glass. I had to leave early and was sad that I would miss what was probably a great breakfast but the charming owner prepared a lunch bag that I could take with me and was amazed by the size, quality that the bag contained. I will rent from her again if I go back Windsor way.

A wonderful B&B! Renee is an outstanding host. The homemade breakfast is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable, with excellent amenities. The home is lovely, and in the quaint Walkerville neighborhood. This is my fourth stay, and I highly recommend this as a lovely, quiet, relaxing place.

A wonderful B&B experience

Ye Olde Walkerville is easy to find, and only a short walk to the shops and restaurants in the Walkerville neighborhood. The building is charming and well-kept. It is an older house, but that's part of the charm. The woman we dealt with was warm and friendly and we had no problems at all during our stay. We were fortunate enough to stay in the suite. The room was large, clean and very well-equipped, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and portions were large. We had never stayed in a B&B before, so we had no idea what to expect. The Walkerville exceeded our imagination and we had a delightful stay. I plan to stay here any time I come through Windsor.
