We liked the friendly staff everywhere, and in particular the amazing singer that graced us with his music during breakfast. We liked the easy access to the beautiful beach of Natadola, and being able to borrow the beach canoes. a thank you for an amazing stay!
Nice location by the beach
Beautiful place in paradise with great staff!
If I get an opportunity to visit this gorgeous paradise again I will definitely want to stay here again. The staff have all been so friendly and professional and the property is maintained and kept in impeccable condition. Got one of the best massages ever in their spa and found it hard to even want to leave to see more of Fiji because it was so beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. Every meal I had was also very delicious. Even though I rarely eat breakfast I found myself looking forward to their breakfast because of the variety and quality of the food that was yummy!
Loved the feel of this place-very authentic. Beautiful outlook and very friendly staff. Had an excellent Japanese restaurant too. Unfortunately we had a mouse (or possibly something larger) visiting our room every night! So very disruptive sleep… The staff tried to get rid of it by boarding up a hole but it didn’t seem to make much difference. Regardless, would definitely visit again.
We have stayed at Yatule over many years. I prefer the pre-renovated resort. It has lost some of its simplicity and charm trying to compete with the big boys but location is unbeatable
The staff were extremely lovely and the pool / location was amazing, but the huts were a bit dusty and extremely noisy due to no sound proofing
Great value for money
Yatule did not communicate in time!
Unfortunately, Yatule cancelled our stay while we were in route to Fiji even after much communication from both parties. Very sad and disappointing as we were unable to choose a new place prior to leaving from USA. Everyone was kind to us but it was quite a jolt!
Beautiful location
We love Fiji❤️
We have transferred to Landers Bay resort due to renovation. We had fantastic time in beach front room and people are so friendly there. It was the Perfect Paradise and we will go back there.
This was a more intimate stay. Everything was easy to find. A friendly arrival welcome. Comfortable beds, good AC and the waves on the shore were soothing. At 10:30 am absolutely go snorkeling with Luc. This way you know where the best spots are, the currents are and he shows you amazing things. They way way way overcharged $12 for bottled water. This should be free and unlimited if the tap is not clean. Cleaning staff didn’t show up until very late in the day and only did our room once in 4 days. It was sad maintenance repairs were behind and poorly done but the hotel was going to shut down completely to be refreshed and staff were sad about not going to have jobs. The renovation should connect the side and front deck. Deck door was old heavy and needed repair. The screen was sort of tacked on with big nails. There were very few guests. The location is very beautiful and it’s a place to relax. The road in was very bad deep potholes. The food was just okay. There was a guitar player who sang that was at the bar. He was very talented. They also had a free fire dancers one night. The activity board should show the whole week not just the day so everyone can plan. We enjoyed this relaxing stay.
Very friendly staff, nice resort
Too expensive for what it is
Vieillot, et pas en très bon état. Beaucoup trop cher vu la qualité de l'hébergement. L'endroit est magnifique.
Fantastic stay! Yatule is second to none on all fronts. Wonderful staff, amazing location, and delicious food. You won’t find more caring and attentive staff anywhere on the island. These people care, and it shows in every single aspect of the hospitality they provide. Will absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this resort, regardless of your length of stay. You will not be disappointed.
Staff were good & friendly. Accommodation was tired . All sun shades - 3 - were broken as were most of the sun beds. Food was good & varied. Very quiet - everyone in bed by 9.30!!! A re- fit is supposedly due in May 2024 to re-open in July
Lovely and friendly staff. Also, such warm and beautiful private feeling beach
The facility is old and in dire need of renovation. The restaurant menu is not diverse and food was terribly overpriced for the quality level. Of course, the scenery is lovely (it's Fiji!), but the rooms need a facelift and there was even an insect problem in our room! I hear they are soon to remodel....hopefully, these issues are resolved.
The resort is small, very quiet and provides a personal touch by the staff. They were over the top friendly and accommodating. There is a beautiful beach and a reef close by. Our only concerns were the state of disrepair of some amenities, cleanliness of beach lounge chairs and the garbage that washed up onto the beach not being picked up daily.
Tbh place was extremely terrible in terms of zero privacy and locals seem to evade all privacy at all times . No place to sit and benches had nails all open and very dangerous. Zero breakfast expectations with saying “breakfast include “ be aware breakfast only has bread and fruits and if you want real food be ready to pay . Place has zero levels of medication- fell sick at place and hotel didn’t even have basic paracetamol on site - shows there is nothing at hotel except when you throw money . Locals harass to the point to buy this buy that it was peaceful to stay inside the room .
Outside areas were beautiful peaceful, staff amazing Rooms were tired looking and not much food selection otherwise relaxing
Amazing location. Staff were incredible, including with our daughter. The daily activities especially the snorkelling were an incredible inclusion. Couldn't have had a better time.
Friendly crew, nice rooms. Lunch as excellent, however dinner was very disappointing. Would go elsewhere for dinner on net stay
My family and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Yatule Resort. The staff were incredible, so helpful and friendly. The food and drink options were great and the prices were very reasonable. The staff organized a birthday cake for my Mum, who had her 80th while we were there, and they sang for her which was amazing! Yes the accommodation could be refreshed a little but for us it was no big deal!!!! Afterall we only slept there! The lovely ladies that service the rooms did a great job and asked us daily if we needed anything. We are already planning our next trip to Yatule xx
Friendly staff. Breakfast was awesome. Very peaceful for holiday. Beautiful Ambience.
An amazing beach-front property, stunning views, excellent swimming and snorkelling, and the most amazing staff who cannot do enough to make you feel at home. Has blown our expectations out of the water, cannot wait to go back.
everything was great. only downside was the semi u bar wasn't open but that wasn't a biggie. great place and will love to visit again. the views are impeccable.
The beach is absolutely the best beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is the best place if you are only here to relax for 3 days. Perfect place to chill. Very inconvenience, too far from town and airport, no taxi around so you have to book from the tour desk if you wanted to go out. No restaurants in the area, only Intercontinental and you have to purchase a pass for $65 a day so you can access the facilities, restaurants...The restaurant at Yatule is very good, nice foods but very limited, we ate almost the same foods for 7 days, no varieties. Hope they will change and have more in the menu, more nightly activities to entertain the guests as it is too far from town.
Wonderful!
Is the perfect location at the best beach on the Island. The sunsets are out of this world. The Staff if the sweetest and friendliest ever. Food is delicious. Bure's are exceptional. Will return.
Amazing location and people. Quiet and private setting. Perfect for a secluded getaway.
Needs updating. Needs better menus with more variety. More activities.
The most positive aspect of staying at this hotel was the kindness of the Fijian staff. They went above and beyond regarding customer service. On the other hand, our bedroom had some issues that needed maintenance, including some loose cabinet doors in the bathroom and broken furniture. When informed, the staff couldn't solve the issue as the administration was not committed to the hotel's functioning and maintenance. The beach was dirty with some rubbish that negatively impacted the Fijian experience.
The beautiful, well kept gardens make this property so much more appealing than the big, impersonal concrete resorts. The staff are amazing too. Always so welcoming.
Quiet and cosy, could hear only the waves at night. The aircon temp indicator was too bright, Woul prefer a tap outside to wash away sand before entering the bure to keep sand out.
Not much facilities available with a very small area around the resort, no shop, limited options on food and bars. If you are staying more than three days it will become very boring.
I liked cleanliness and the beach. Being a veg I found limited options
We are beach people so we chose this resort for it's location. The Beach is walkable and beautiful. Snorkeling right out in front of Bures. The most charming feature is the staff. This is a Fijian resort. It has Fiji staff and an island vibe. It is what we were looking for.
the people that worked there were soooo wonderful!
Fabulous Stay!
Yatule Resort was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and yet professional and always with a big smile. They accommodated us at a few occasions (arriving early, late breakfast etc...). The manager was fabulous as well.
Unique Fijian operated property that was beautiful and not sterile high end like the property next door. The staff went out of their way to make sure all the guests were happy and well looked after. The pool was great. Unfortunately we only were able to snorkel one day before the cyclone came but still enjoyed the big waves and storm watching.
Great place to visit to relax!
A lovely resort with friendly staff in a really beautiful beach location. We loved our 4 days here.
Great place - lovely staff.
The staff is very friendly. I could not get used to the semi private bure with connecting door which offered no sound proofing. It is unfair to expect the guests to sort it out themselves. However, I understand this is the same at other resorts. I was next door to a honeymooning couple from Newzealand. Thankfully they were very kind n understanding. Anyone who is booking a bure in a resort should be aware that there r 2 adjoining rooms per hut. No sound proofing. Buyer beware😀
Locallly owned resort on Fijis most beautiful natural Natadola beach. Incredible friendly staff. Nice pool area. Great bar service. Bula Vinak we will be back
Lovely Fijian owned and operated resort on beautiful Natadola beach. Modest but good compared to other Fiji resorts.
The staff was great. Friendly and helpful. Beach was fantastic. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Yatule looks great in photos, but the reality is much different. This resort has so much potential, but it has not been kept up. Everything could do with a little more upkeep. The rooms are small and walls are paper thin, can hear neighbors conversations. The wifi situation is horrible, they only have free spotty service at reception. We were told it would be $25 FJ per day for service in our room and only for a max of 2 devices. The pool is small and the pool bar was not in service. The staff was nice enough, but seemed to be lazy and no one is in charge, lack of management. No "extras" when it comes to customer service. The best part of Yatule is the beach. I would consider this a 2-3 star resort and not worth the current pricing.
Yatule felt very Polynesian, with all the mod cons & comfort
Unfortunately this property needs some money, care and attention put into it. The location is amazing and so is the set up of the bure accomodation but step inside and everything is in need of serious refurbishment. The bure's we were in (both as we were put into a back bure beside the kitchen rubbish area no.8 even though we booked a beachfront bure, got moved after complaining to no,12) both bathrooms have badly cracked tiles with mouldy silicone, the floors need sanding and re polishing, the wall & ceilings are in a bad way and the furniture inside and out needs upgrading. The pool furniture was all broken and unusable but was still sitting around the pool even though it was ripped and you couldnt use it???..... Pool bar looks like it has been closed for a long time and tiles missing on the edge of the pool which is quite sharp and dangerous and edges need a good clean. I found it really disappointing for the money paid, I understand they have had it very hard with COVID but for the price you pay they need to put some effort in and get up grading. The beach is lovely and the outside gardens were all well maintained, this place could be amazing but not without basic refurbishment.
I loved the quietness and the privacy of resort. We had functions at the Intercontinental spa and resort next door and wouldn’t change Yatule if you paid me. The staff were excellent and attentive at all times. We will definitely go back again 🙏
Beach was beautiful. Restaurant was expensive. Some restaurant staff were not very friendly. Had no water on the first night, but it was fixed quickly. Had no TV in our room, but we were given free WiFi instead.
The location is great and the view from our bure was gorgeous. We had the beach mostly to ourselves, the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The property needs serious updating and everything looks run down but at least the staff keeps it clean. However the area just outside the property is very dirty with garbage everywhere.
The property is recovering from Covid. The property is run down. Needs some dollars invested otherwise they will keep getting poor reviews. But a great location. Great food.
The Hotel is amazing because of the beach. but they can do better. I suggest to add more colourful lights to the bar area to give more life and be festive. Food is ok but could do more. over all I still love the place.
this property is located on the amazing Natadola Beach.Beach front positions with minimal noise and people. Mostly couples which was nice. The food is amazing at the restaurant which we will miss. The staff are so hospitable and lovely ,always willing to help in any way. The only downfall of the resort is the limited outdoor chairs and condition of them. A little maintenance and care is required.
Great staff.
Cannot fault the overall service and warm reception from all the staff. Keen to return again. Road leading into resort needs upgrading though.
Staff were amazing from start to finish!
Upon checking in I the front door opens with the old key and the door handle was loose and rusted . Went inside the bathroom floor the tile was rusty . The sink stopper was broken. And everything inside was very dusty . I got out and told them I can not stay at place like this . Staffs were not friendly at all . It’s like they didn’t care . Other staffs were playing basketball. This place is not well kept .
This Resort is right on the beachfront of perhaps the best beach in Fiji, it’s close to the best Golf Course in Fiji. It’s got that authentic Fiji look and feel to the bures and the bar & restaurant. We stayed there in 2016. Like most tourist places around the Pacific, we can see they are still rebuilding themselves back to where life once was, and we can’t imagine how tough the last 2 years has been for them. We will be back!!
Such a lovely laid back vibe at this resort with all the luxury ammenities. Beach is stunning, surf plus coral reefs for snorkelling. Lovely resort cats to cuddle. Lots of frogs. Staff attentive and very friendly. Great activities provided for free. Highly recommend staying here
Yatule was a little taste of Paradise. The beach was breath taking, the accommodation authentic and the staff warm and genuine. The two little dogs around the beach were delightful and filled the little hole of missing my own dogs at home!! Activities guide Luke and Jnr were wonderful. really enjoyed the village tour. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay. Loved every minute and will return soon. Improvements: Once at the resort, nearest shops you need a car. Intercontinental next door has a small convenience store and ATM. Sun lounges need replacing.
Super friendly staff and beautiful setting. Restaurant food was outstanding. Fun activities that we all enjoyed.
Amazing place, beach and snorkeling sensational. Food fantastic, don’t miss the tandoori chicken. Lovely comfortable beds, bures by the beach. Incredible sunsets. Bliss
Needs a complete revamp. Would not stay there again
Two thumbs up
It was a really nice place very chill and relaxing the staff was wonderful
Luke was the highlight of the visit. Awesome service from him, down to earth and relatable. Kept everyone entertained throughout and the villagers doing the fire performance was a once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend! Only negative was the male receptionist who was not only rude to paying guests but inhumanely rude to the porter and other staff. The duty manager was good enough to get the tv’s working so we could watch the rugby etc. The kitchen and restaurant staff were super accomodating especially with my pregnant wife and her needs for food.
This property was very relaxing they are in the process of upgrading and doing works around the property, you don’t need a TV here, the staff are all amazing and will do anything to accommodate your needs
staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay lots of fun. Loved the Bure and the close proximity to the beach. Lots of fun activities every day and it is a very beautiful resort. I however thought the food needed to be improved. It was expensive for what you got. You are a 10 minute drive from a supermarket or shops. it is a little remote which is why we loved it.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate anything we needed - even offering the Spa shower before transfer to the airport and an early dinner. The staff was helpful and always friendly. There was some obvious wear and tear that I'm sure will be taken care of as tourism/travel opens up further. Our Bure 1 had some wear and tear (screen torn on deck door) and the beach lounge chairs are in need of replacing, but overall, everything was what we hoped for and more.
Great staff and management.
Spent 11 relaxing days at the Yatule. The staff here is amazing. From the moment you step foot on the resort they treat you so well. They remember people names, are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Staff is the highlight of this resort. Vijay made the effort to help me by save over $150 on a rental car. Junior and the guest service crew plan fun and interesting activities each day. They are working on a few repairs on the resort, so Im sure this place is only going to get better. Compared to the Intercontinental next door, the Yatule is more welcoming, authentic and fun.
From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed an ocean-front bure and could walk bare-footed almost everywhere!
Very nice and enjoyable
excellent staff and location ,quite and undisturbed beach ,bures needs bit of upgrade but cant complain as i stayed at a beach bure which was just stones throw away. Breakfast reasonable but not the best .Overall a 7 day heaven with a lot of time for yourself to unwind and enjoy the peace.
We were so excited to finally get back to fiji after 2 years of Covid restrictions. However if you're looking for that traditional friendly, welcoming fijian resort this one isn't it. Not many smiles and Bulas to be heard around this resort. In particular the Guest Relations lady was very unfriendly and unwelcoming, in the whole week we were there she never once smiled or greeted us at all. The food at the restaurant was pretty awful. That being said, the location of this resort is unbeatable! An absolutely amazing spot, incredible beach access with deck chairs right overlooking an amazing view. If it wasnt for the lack of friendly smiles we would go back in a heart beat. It's such a shame that the warm fijian hospitality is lacking here, it's always been a highlight of our trips. Also missing are the local touches such as fire lighting, traditional drum etc.
Yatule is a gem a perfect balance of Fiji life with comfort of the western world. Our bula's beautiful sliding door opened to an unobstructed view of the ocean. Our room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. We had a great little patio. Very decent linens. But as I must say for all things Fijian the staff is amazing. Warm and helpful. Our TV did not work and we only used the lobby wifi which is patchy and weak but who needs wifi when you have that view.we enjoyed the bar and restaurant and the activities. I highly recommend and would go back anytime.
My wife and I just finished a 9 day stay at Yatule Resort in Fiji with another couple. First, let me say that our stay there surpassed every expectation we had! Here’s what was great: the ocean!! The water here is warm enough that you can hardly tell when your foot is in the water. We snorkeled for at least an hour every day, sometimes off the beach and other times kayaking to a nearby area. The water was spectacular!! Lots of rock and coral, tons of tropical fish, and a few more interesting items like blue starfish, a couple of sea snakes, a sting ray and a 3 foot white-tip reef shark. Did I mention the seashells? World class seashell hunting, especially if you take a kayak a few hundred yards to less traveled beaches. In protected places the water was gin clear. Closer to the waves there was some suspended sand. Here’s what was practically perfect: the staff!! OMG, we fell in love with the staff. They are all local Fiji natives, mostly from nearby villages. They are pleasant, wonderful people who are dedicated to making your stay as memorable as possible. The dining room and bar staff go out of their way to bring you delicious food and cold, yummy drinks. We were there during the rainy season, but most days were sunny all day with puffy clouds around. I would go back again in a heartbeat!
Amazing place in Fiji
Amazing place, amazing people, amazing food, amazing family-like hotel. Will definitely come back!
Absolutely fabulous stay at this little gem of a place! Secluded and relaxing. Just beautiful.
The resort was in a great location, on a beautiful beach. We were in a beachfront Bure which was only about 10m from the beach. However the property itself could have been better. The food at breakfast was not good and there was only one restaurant with the same menu every day, with no local food, only Chinese, Indian and Western. There are no other restaurants in the immediate area within walking distance (Intercontinental next door was not allowing outsiders to dine in their restaurants). The water temperature in the shower was temperamental and one day our aircon stopped working and the maintenance guy had no idea how to fix it and had to call the manager who just checked the fuse box. The pool bar was not operational and the service was generally very slow in the bar and restaurant (it usually took 30 mins or more to get a drink). The resort activities were very disorganised and we missed snorkelling one day as we were misinformed by the manager about where it was taking place. A positive aspect was that the guests were mostly young couples or groups and there were very few families with children. The other guests were friendly and we would often have drinks with others in the pool or the bar.
Great location and surprisingly good meals. Breakfast offering basic. Very slow and disappointing service and property condition let go. No swim up bar in service and pool decking had holes in it.
Yatule resort is located on a beautiful beach with the best swimming conditions. It is a soft sand beach, there are no rocks or sharp coral. My bure looked out onto the ocean and all I could hear was the sound of the waves. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Reception arranged my PCR test and made sure everything went smoothly. I loved the relaxed atmosphere at Yatule resort, meeting other guests over a bonfire on the beach, learning Fijian with Luc. There are plenty of activities: kayaking (free) and the locals offer horseriding, snorkelling and walks to the local village and island. It was a perfect stay. Vinaka Yatule!
Beautiful, peaceful & quiet …. Amazing beach & views
I visited Yatule at a challenging time just when Fiji got its first case of covid-19. I didn't get a chance to enjoy all that Yatule offered however, the staff were amazing during this time. They had the right balance of concern the stressful situation we were in and were helping us out accordingly; and they provided the right amount of reassurance that things were going to work out for us. They took care of us during this time and always had smiles on their faces even though they were facing their own challenges with the resort closing down. They were fantastic and I thank them for supporting all of their guests during this challenging time.
1. In front of Natadola beach 2. Quiet 3. Price reasonable 4. Spacious room 5. Free water
Great Stay...great location...great staff!!!
Lovely, intimate hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach right next to the Intercontinental Hotel. Friendly, laid back this is a perfect place to relax and enjoy without the hassles. Food is good, but could use a little bigger selection. Room faced the beach and the sunsets were worth it alone. Highly recommend this lovely gem of a property!!
Excellent all the way around. We can’t wait to come back next year.
This resort is situated in Natadola Beach which is a beautiful beach with white sand and clear, turquoise water. The resort is small but it has activities that you can participate in daily such as paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling which are all at an additional cost. You can also walk over to the Intercontinental Resort beside it to book a horse riding tour. Breakfast is included which was very good. It is continental but you have an option to order hot meals such as pancakes or eggs. The restaurant attached to the resort also has good meals for lunch and dinner. Happy Hour is daily from 1730-1930 with several drinks around half the regular price. Staff are incredible, friendly and very hospitable. You do not need to bring cash since they charge everything to your room number and you can pay for everything at once at check out. This resort offers good value for what you pay for. We also booked the airport transfer from Nadi airport fot $100FJD per person, roundtrip. It is a 1h drive away from the airport. This resort is very simple and is recommended for anyone who just wants to relax by the beach.
So relaxing. Excellent shower beutiful beach. Great people. Drinks pricey
Should have stayed longer
The Fijians are very warm and welcoming.
Lovely hotel which is small and so guests get to know the staff and vice versa. All the staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. Beautiful setting on a 2 km white sand beach with clear turquoise warm water. We were sad when it came for us to leave. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. If you are looking for glam and glitz though then this is not the place for you. The only downside to Fiji are the mosquitos so bring plenty of repellent. You will also need plenty of sun block.
Excellent food and all staff. I do not like paying 3.5% for credit card, that is very bad
Just loved our time here very very special, amazing beach, simple but extremely comfortable...
Beautiful beach, great swimming, some surfing. Adjoining door in this duplex Bure would be sweet for family or very very quiet people as you can hear everything through the walls. Linens need updating.
This resort is in a remote location (1 hr. south of Nadi). Which is good if you want quiet and relaxation. For entertainment or other services, you only need to walk a short distance to the Intercontinental. Everyone at Yatule was nice and friendly. The beach is just steps away. I would definitely recommend this resort.
Yatule location was incredible, just so beautiful and peaceful!!!

great staff, perfect beach access
