Breakfast Buffet Needs Better Monitoring

The hotel were great. The front and cleaning staff were great. The room has magnificent views. The hotel needs some update and minor repair here and there. What made me write this review was the lack of decency of certain culture or type of guests. I wish the staff at the breakfast buffet would do a better job at monitoring and speaking up when guests were blatantly reaching into the food containers and trays with their bare hands to sample items they wanted. This is incredibly unsanitary and a surefire way to spread germs and illnesses. To the adult from different cultures with varying norms around food handling, this is a shared public space. Regardless of one's background, it is a matter of common decency and respect for others to avoid unsanitary behavior. Pick the food you want from the trays or containers into your plate using the tongs provided and then you can sample. Also, please do not put the food back into the trays and containers on the buffet table.

Right on the beach! Across the street there are tons of bars and restaurants. My room had a balcony on the 12th floor overlooking the beach and the ocean - amazing! And the bathroom has a tub and it’s huge! Loved it! Would stay there again! :)

Property clean and generally well maintained. However, property is located on main road so trying to sleep can be challenging. Also there is a night club near by which can add to the noise level. The staff are excellent and attentive. Room is spacious. Would recommend to stay here but remember to bring ear plugs.

The rooftop pool.and bar area was amazing as was my sea view. It felt luxurious and the room was wonderful. A bit of a walk along the beach to the shops, but it is a pleasant stroll. Noise from the bar opposite could be heard on the 8th gloor which was a little annoying if you needed to bed down early for a trip.the next day but only noticeable, not too loud. The staff were friendly and efficient. I travel a great deal and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice Sea-view room,

We have got an sea-view room with balcony. Excellent as we could catch sunrise directly from the room. Unfortunately, if you are facing the sea, you will get loud music from the beach club on the beach front during the night until 23:00hrs for my 2 nights stay. I was lucky that the Hotel was running promotion on its in-house spa body massage at 50% discount, and the masseurs were good. Only feedback on the spa room is, there shouldn't be glass panels on the doors of private massage room. Passer-by to the gym could peep inside to the spa room.

Great locstion, good air conditioning, friendly and helpful staffs, great breakfast buffet. Not so good are small garbage bin inside room, expensive laundry service, be aware there is a very loud bar right next door.

The hotel was directly facing the sea. Great view. Room, toilet, bed, bedsheets were all very clean! The staff were all very polite, efficient and helpful. There were many varieties of food during breakfast. Food was yummy!

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. They upgraded us to an ocean view suite upon arrival for free and the room and view was amazing. The next morning at breakfast they surprised me with a beautiful cake and fruit platter and played happy birthday on the stereo system in the dining room, it was a lovely gesture very thoughtful.

The room had small windows and when I sent a picture to my friends, first comment was it’s a “love motel” where people rent hourly rates to make out in. The security was pretty bad as anyone and everyone could access all floors of the property and non-guests could even go up to their rooftop pool ad use it.

We stayed in the Junior suite. Only let down was the size of the bath, it was too small for a bath and too narrow to stand for a shower, no shower curtain also. Just a waste of a big bathroom.

Likes: location & staff. Dislikes: 4* hotel but without Iron & Ironing Board. You can't even borrow one! never the less, the hotel is more than happy to iron your clothes for a fee!!!. Bathroom is too dark where the basin is. Can't see jack to put make up or even have a shave!!!

Shower in bath was hard to get in and out of. Opposite the beach which was good, and all other things about the hotel were good.

Perfect if the weathers good

1) Hotel staff are excellent in service and friendly. 2) Although English may sometimes be a communication challenge, they make an effort to assist. 3) While the beach is very close to the hotel, it is separate by a major 4-lane street, where pedestrian crossings are oblivious and does not apply. So, getting to the beach requires quick reflexes and courage.

The location is great with the beach only a road across. Staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in the mini suite with beach view balcony and the view is stunning. However, the hotel is next to a construction site so it is noisy during day time. the separation between the construction site and the balcony was weak, worker can literally walk to my balcony if he wants, so the sense of security was quite low. the bath tub wasnt clean enough that with a greasy touch at first and i have to wipe it with alcohol pad for a few times. Hot water supply was unstable, it took more than 5 mins before hot water starts to flow. some of the decor inside the room were only loosely attached. but consider the price we pau and the product and service you get, its still a good bargain

Not so clean room and pool but close to the beach

I found some ants in thr room. so staff helped me to transfer to the other room. Room got a bit smell. but it's very close to breach. Also It's quite loud because of roofbar music sound. and pool where it is located on the top is not so clean due to dust and some hairs.

Nice beach front location

The staffs are helpful and friendly but few of them dont really understand english.The construction work beside the hotel really nosiy.The location is good but the traffic is very busy and can hear it started from early morning.....

Decent hotel though the beach is terrible

I booked 4 rooms for my family. Rooms were modern & and looks clean, though my bathroom has sewage smell. Got upgrade to a suite with ocean view, that room was fantastic. Roof top pool is nice. Some staffs were more friendly and attention than others.. But we could not swim in the ocean, trash scattered on the beach, the water is not clear & smells bad from a sewage run off near by.

We booked the room ocean view twin with bath tub, but they assigned the room just shower.... which is ok they changed the room. The hotel(maybe not only this hotel), window glasses are not thick, you can hear the noises from outside.

Over the road from Beautiful Beach and Fantastic live seafood restaurants, all the staff friendly and welcoming.

Currently the Adamo is a mixed bag. The room was nice and comfortable (2 bedroom apartment). The breakfast was good. The location in Da Nang and on the beach is good. The staff were great. But. There is construction immediately adjacent to the hotel which can be seen from the rooms and the roof top pool. The street noise is high. The hallways are dim, have an odd smell and really old carpets. The rooms have a separate switch for the water heater that is unmarked. Would I stay here again? Not as long as the construction is going on and then I would prefer a higher room to reduce the traffic noise. The construction looks like it will be going on for several more months. I hope they can finish the construction soon since I like the place otherwise and the staff were really great.

Adamo hotel, loved it

Great situation right across the road from beautiful beach, lots of restaurants around to choose from. The pool and bar is fantastic with amazing views. Staff friendly and try hard to look after you. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The rooms are adequate but for the price I think you get what you expect. I would recommend the hotel.

Can do better

The hotel location is just nice for those who like beach. Definitely is a good place for beach lover. Nice beach view. Staff so friendly. I was no happy is the toilet cleanliness.

Nice hotel close to the beach

This 3 Star hotel is based at the Da Nang beach. There is only a road between hotel and the wonderful beach. You find a nice pool and a bar at the roof top. Excellent breakfast at the second floor in an uncomfortable restaurant. Helpful tour guide center at the lobby. The massage spa center is highly recommended. All in all a nice hotel for a short break.

--GOOD-- good breakfast friendly stuff room is large sea view is stunning price is reasonable --BAD-- although the hotel is quite new, maintenance needed to improve we lived in apartment room, there is no curtain or separate between shower place and toilet, all wet in the bathroom after shower, can't believe it happen in a 4 stars hotel

Good stay and reasonable price

It was a good stay, nearby many eateries and beach. Feels comfortable and I enjoyed the spa facility. Great pool too!

Good but be warned if booking ocean-view room.

Booked an oceanview room. A loud party was on until close to midnight on a Sunday. No soundproof led to room windows trembling due to loud noises. There is a puddle of stagnant water that turned green in the beach within the view from the room. Otherwise all good.

Good location, just 2 minutes walk to the beach. Excellent service with very helpful staff guiding us to cross the road from hotel to the beach as the traffic can be quite intimidating.

We loved how some of he stuff slways made us feel welcomed-Especialy young waiter in the breakfast room, the main cook who was so kind and lovely and the man who always opened car door or taxi door for us. These people were so lovely. For the rest Normal. Nothing special. We asked hotel to do the laundry for us and we were shocked by the bill we received after stay. So in all other hotels in Vietnam they charge you per kilo. And her they charge you per piece of cloth so we ended up paying 10 $ for just few underwear. Better save your laundry for the other hotel. The hotel itself is wonderful and the roof top pool is amazing.

Excellent DaNang Beach hotel

Super great place to stay. Friendly staff, nice new looking rooms with top of the line fixtures. Rooftop pool is awesome as is the restaurant and bar. Right Across the beach. The best location with very reasonable pricing. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Stayed for 8 nights.

New hotel with good roof top pool

Staff are friendly and helpful, close to beach, very nice roof top pool. However, rooms are a bit small and hardly with natural light through small window, hotel suggests us to upgrade to seaview rooms, but upgrade fee too expensive.

Poor customer services

The staff of the help desk never show smile to the customers and we overcame two times that our room key was not work! We tried to seek help from the front desk and they told us that they can’t find our booking record.

Good hotel

Great view, helpful doorman and good breakfast. We stayed over a long weekend so hotel was full and a bit noisy but overall would recommend the hotel.

Beachfront bliss!

Our room was gorgepus and spacious overlooking the beach! The facilities were great and we were more than impressed with everything! The onsite tour desk was also a huge bonus!

Nice hotel with great views!Reception area was airy,light,clean and inviting!Front desk staff were very helpful.They spoke enough English to have limited conversations and they got the job done!We stayed in an Adamo Deluxe room(oceanview) and truly enjoyed the view from our room!They first gave us a room where the bed faced other buildings but we told them that we paid for a room with an oceanview and they quickly rectified the situation! Their breakfast buffet had a lot of options but by the time we got to Vietnam though, we had been traveling in Southeast Asia for 2.5 months so we were not that excited about their breakfast buffet.But to their credit, if not for our personal situation, they actually had great options! Our room, bedsheets and bathroom were all clean.The bathrobes they provided actually felt and smelled fresh and clean.They provided slippers and flip flops but we did not use them.I’m a bit germaphobic and preferred not to slip my feet into a pair that someone else have used.I prefer those disposable house slippers. Like all Asian hotels we stayed at, Adamo also provided bathroom toiletries such as toothbrushes with toothpaste, combs, shower caps, etc. As far as dining is concerned, try NOT to get “trapped” into the fast-paced attitude and fast-talking personnel of the restaurants across the street—Lang Ca restaurant and others like it! We definitely recommend staying at Adamo Hotel.If we were to go back to Da Nang, we will definitely stay here again.

Hot water

Both bath and basin tap have issues when tap turns to hot. Apparently there wasn't enough hot water in your tank to supply the all units.

Cheating Practice

I booked a big room of 560 sf (52 m2) with partial sea view as I holidayed with my wife and daughter. However the hotel gave me a room of half a size and with a small window facing the construction site. I complained to the front desk staff but he just said he couldn't do anything. What a cheat to do business like this!

I booked 6 rooms for 4 nights for our Medical Rehabilitation team. We had two wheelchair users which if you require a roll in shower you are put into rooms with no view and a small window that faces a concrete wall. I upgraded to a room with a balcony- they charge me $29 extra per each night for this upgrade - this was after I shared with the manager that I already am paying $1,800 for the other 5 rooms. The wheelchair ramp entrance has a very steep - the sercurity guard would assist in helping our wheelchair user up and down.

A hotel with good cost-benefit ratio

The service at the hotel was impeccable right from the check-in. The reception lady (wished I got her name) at 11am on 10Dec was so helpful that she provided all necessary information that I needed to know to spend my three days in Da Nang, eg the Han Market, the good seafood restaurant etc. The concierge/bell was very helpful in helping us carry the bags, crossing the roads to the beach, stopping taxi, keeping our bags when we checked out. Originally I wanted a high floor sea view room, but the hotel upgraded me to an apartment at 4th floor so I could happily accept that ;) the room was cozy, the beds were very comfortable, my daughter liked the bathtub a lot! One thing is the laminated floor needs reworked and the laminated are already popping up which made the walking uncomfortable. And understandably being near to the beach, sometimes you find sands on the floor and even on the bed. We were also happy with the breakfast. Nothing very fanciful and the spread was sufficient. Again, service was very good at the Pello. We loved the roof top swimming pool so much although we didn’t spend too much time in the water due to the very cold water. The view atop was just so stunning, which was one reason I chose to stay at Adamo. The location opposite to the My Khe Beach was just wonderful. It is at one of the best stretch of clean beach and my family and I truly enjoyed the times on the beach. It can be a distance away from the city but not too far.

Nice hotel but will look out for the newer hotels

The room was exactly as pictured and the service at Adamo was above expectations. Unfortunately there was construction literally just outside the only window in our room, and the walls were also very thin. We were on the second floor and perhaps that was why we heard so much movement and noise from the corridor and from our neighbour.

NICE HOTEL BUT..................

Great location for beaches , beautiful view. I stayed in a junior suite, nothing special about it except a beautiful view and an annoying bathtub. The bathroom looks so nice, but it is awful, can't shower standing up without getting the floor all wet, the tiles on the floor are not designed to be wet so water got in between and starting to smell, also the water pressure in room 1205 were so bad, can't even take a shower. the belcony were the hightlight of the hotel, if you like all the horns honking and the smell of fuel from all the buses and cars than your are fine. even with the doors closed still can hear all the noises. The staffs are great and the breakfast also very nice. somethings in this hotel or the air in the area is making my throat sore and a headache every morning at this hotel. and this never happen to me before, and stayed in hotels around the world more than sleep in my own bed.

Vi bodde åtta nätter på hotellet. Servicen var mycket över förväntan och vi kände oss genuint välkomna. Hotellets tips var jättebra. Bilderna av rummet överensstämde med verkligheten. Frukosten var fantastisk och variationsrik - det borde finnas något för varje smak. Läget var ett stenkast från stranden. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell.

Excellent time with so friendly staff

It has been such a time i have spent such good time in one hotel . All the staff very friendly like mr Hui nhien at the restaurant . Nice room great breakfast , pleasant swiming pool . Just for improvements issues , consttuctive not polemical, the swimming pool needs one shower and the gym is too limited in equipment

It was my first trip to Vietnam and it was a wonderful trip as all the staff were very helpful. The room has a great view of the beach and there are many cheap and delicious restaurants nearby. It was a wonderful experience that cannot be expressed using Expedia's evaluation criteria. And I fell in love with Da Nang. We would like to thank all the staff members including Mis. Thao who took care of us every day and Mis. Vy who kindly accommodated us when we changed rooms. I feel really glad to have stayed at this hotel.

とても素敵なホテルでコスパがよかった。 接客がとてもよく、特にドアマンの男性みなさんがとても働き者でとても笑顔が良く、毎日気分良かったです。 海側の部屋にしましたが、朝焼けが見れたりとても良かったです。ミーケビーチの中心部から少し離れていますが、すぐに遊泳できるところやパラセーリングの受付もあり、大変楽しかったです。 朝ごはんも種類が多く、毎日麺の内容が変わり4泊しましたが飽きませんでした。 ホテルのプールも景色が良く、綺麗でした。 スパもそこまで高くなく、ホテルの中にあるので疲れたらぜひ受けてみてください。 大満足のホテルでしたが敢えて、気になる点を挙げるならシャワーカーテンがなく、少し滑りそうになったくらいです。
