A nice but outdated motel room - still though a nice break and a quiet place to stay.
Friendly staff and great service
The property is on a national park, it's strange that you have to pay to enter the park even if you're staying at the hotel. Surely that should either be in the price or free?
Cmon guys get those sprinklers on and tidy the weed its a national park ffs
Disgusting
Wonderful place!
Absolutely loved it! Definitely the best bit of our trip!
Beautiful location, friendly staff
We can enjoy the beautiful environment of Yanchep National Park and its nice walks. The hotel has all the facilities we need and the price is reasonable.
there where dead flies on the window will the entire stay, they where there the day we arrived. Manager was amazing. TV was not working so they upgraded us to another room.
It needs updating like livin in the 60
Great food and excellent service. Most enjoyable.
It is situated in the midst of the National Park which is really lovely.
Staying in a national park is its own special kind of holiday. Its a great way to just deeply relax in nature. Very special to walk around the park at night and see the stars above. The accommodation is basic but good. I would recommend asking if you can have a room with a new bed. Book the Lake View so you have a nice little balcony with a view to a vibrant lake. The food was really good at the Yanchep Inn. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and had a drink listening to live music. I think the staff might need a little polish and a little more belief in themselves. This is a question of leadership that empowers them and believes in them. It's a great place for a break.
Staff friendly. Room clean. View fantastic. Meal in the Inn was very nice and good value for money.
We recently booked two nights at Yanchep Inn for our anniversary. While the staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant was quite good, our experience with the accommodation was far from pleasant. We had opted for a budget room at $150 per night, but upon entering, it felt like we’d stepped back into the 1970s—not in a charming, heritage way, but rather in a worn-out, outdated, and neglected manner. The bed’s mattress seemed to be from the same era, with springs poking us all night, making it impossible to get comfortable. To top it off, we found a baby cockroach on the rolled-up towels left on the bed, which were so frayed along the edges that at home, they’d either be used as rags or thrown out. The windows didn’t close properly, and since the people next door were smoking right outside their door, which was next to our entrance, the smoke drifted into our room, leaving it reeking of cigarette smoke. Both my wife and I are non-smokers, so this made the situation even worse. The showerhead was another issue, mounted at about 1.6 meters from the ground, which is far too low for a comfortable shower, even for someone like me who is only 1.8 meters tall. Although it was budget accommodation, $150 per night is still quite expensive, and "budget" shouldn’t mean run-down or worse than a backpacker hostel, which would cost far less. We originally booked for two nights, but after enduring the first night, we checked out and got a refund for the second. Not recommended.
Room was old but clean and comfortable. The meal in the restaurant was excellent and the bar staff could pour a perfect Guinness, what more could you ask for
Lovely get away in nature, nice food at the inn. The staff were more than accomodating. Always friendly. Lovely stay.
Lovely view from balcony window over National Park
A stay inside the national park and very close to the Yanchep observatory
Fun safe family environment
Lovely surroundings and a quaint almost heritage style hotel. Food and staff were amazing. My room was very clean and comfy. Being located in a National Park there is lots to see and do.
I love the park surroundings especially for birds. It would be nicer if the room was upgraded otherwise it’s is clean and functional. I stayed 2 nights hence I didn’t mind that there was no housekeeping although I saw the chambermaid cleaning the other rooms.
Amazing grounds and family friendly, is a little remote withoutbany toiletries or essentials available for purchase and uber won't delivery to the location. Will be returning solely to just stay again.
Staff excellent .. parking a problem for people with disability. Not enough ramps. Excellent pub style food huge portionssurrounding grounds maintained very well.
Heritage listed Yanchep Inn itself is fabulous: great pub food, excellent staff. And the setting in Yanchep National Park is beautiful with abundant wildlife and a range of walking trails from 500 m to 52 km. The accomm though was very disappointing and was in quite a state of neglect.
Absolutely beautiful would highly recommend
Very nice old world charm. Food was very good and breakfast was excellent for the price. Some maintenance work is required and points where raised with staff who where thankful for the feedback. All in all a good nights stay
Would be good if microwave is provided.
On the dated side
Located in the bushland and quiet and relaxing, room on the dated side, however very spacious, clean and tiday, 5 to 10 minutes drive to yanchep shopping centre. May stay there again, found the two staff members rude and unpleasant.
Accommodation needs updating
We had a wonderful weekend including attending a Christmas in July dinner.
Nice place to stay
A lovely venue within the national park: lovely environment - the rooms a very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful
Great place to stay lots of wildlife out side your room ,Kangaroos etc great old school style Tavern and restaurant very friendly staff will definitely stay there again.
Great service and plenty of wildlife
No
Gorgeous spot for an overnight stay, great food, the accommodation is old but clean, good value.
What a lovely escape. Perfect dining experience. The staff were absolutely amazing and the morning walk around the grounds was just beautiful. A 10/10 stay!
Beautiful spot - kangaroos bouncing around the grounds Breath taking Tudor style Inn Accomm a little rough Parking area for accomm could be a little uniformed All said I was happy Will be back for sure
Loved the National park and the walks from the property. The kangaroos and koalas were awesome Live music on sunday afternoon was very good Lovely overnight stay before flying home.
Love the place...
I liked everything. The staff were so helpful and polite. The food was delicious and really top class. Enjoyed the park and animals. Will definitely go again. 🤗🤗
Was a lovely spot. Rooms clean but a little dated but was all round a great stay
Beautiful location and staff were lovely. Room was extremely clean and had an amazing view. Being in a park we totally expected to wake up early to the noise of the birds and wildlife, but room was super sound proof.
The rooms were cosy, the staff were friendly and being with nature including the wildlife was relaxing.
Relaxing stay but maybe a few more updates in the property
Very relaxing walks food drinks accommodation
Room clean, nice surrounds and great breakfast included.
Great overnight stay in National Park
Having visited Yanchep National Park previously, I waa keen to stay overnight to benefit from seeing the animals at dusk & dawn. It was well worth it for that alone. Loved the tranquility of the late evening/early morning. So to me the setting here is everything. Standard motel style room was exactly that - standard. I chose this option as I prefer a walk-in shower to one over bath (it was great) as was the balcony overlooking the lake. Top floor is best for views. Bed was huge & very comfortable. No hangers in wardrobe but otherwise a functional room for one or two night stay.
Very comfortable
Overall wonderful.!!!
Stayed for one night as a stopover on our way further up north. It’s a nice authentic inn set in the heart of the beautiful Yanchep national park with abundance of wildlife at every turn. Staff were great, breakfast was decent. Rooms are quite basic and need updating - as is the case with many hotels in Australia but its good value for money and if you don’t mind the basic rooms I would fully recommend.
Too hot for much activity so a sit on the balcony a good option exc
Great property, serene with wildlife in their natural habitat,a great place to unwind and relax, very refreshing thank you Yanchep Inn a mind and body reset with ocean down the road. This is the place the place to recharge the soul at a very affordable price
Back to nature
Great location back to nature. The pub has very good meals.
It was a quick overnight stay but found it very relaxing after a stressful day. The grounds need to be further explored and will do at a later date.
I love been able to walk around and see the kangaroos and peaceful.
Lovely place and staff
Not bad for the price, great setting.
The stay wss fine, motel style family room that was past its best but perfectly functional. The bed was very comfy. As it is in the national park it was in a lovely setting, with wallabies all over the place. Decent bar and restaurant, staff very friendly and attentive.
Lovely place, very homely for someone European. Great food and Guinness on tap too. Would definitely stay there again.
Yanchep Inn is incredibly tired- actually exhausted!! After returning to this property after a few years I was shocked at how run down it was. Gardens which were beautiful are now not maintained, rooms feel dirty & so old. The food in the restaurant was fabulous but now almost inedible! It’s such a shame.
What a magic place. Like stepping back in time. Old fashioned hospitality. Happy staff and delicious food. The location amazing, opened the door and greeted by kangaroos and bright blue little birds. Definitely coming back.
. Good
Awesome stay in fabulous accommodation and beautiful park
It's located in the National Park so entry pass to the Park is required ($15 per car). Building is really dated. The building with the hotel rooms is at a separate location from the building that says Yanchep Inn in the ads. Between this annex and the Yanchep inn, it is really dark once sunsets. Facilities in the room were mixed, some dated (carpet was badly stained, beds are soft), some new (linen were new). There was road maintenance on the day we arrived, so we had to park at the bar, bring our luggage about 50m to reach the hotel room in the annex. Hotel staff and bar staff are the same. So in order to check in at 4pm, I had to wait for the bartender to finish her work, then she brought us to the hotel side of the bar to check us in. Restaurant/bar on site so we could eat there. Outside the building was the high point of our stay. We could walk along the lake. kangaroos were outside our room. The boardwalk with koalas was just 20-30m away.
Had a great stay beautiful views and great service breakfast was yummy . Will come back again
A great location within the Yanchep National Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A little dated now, but clean. A shame that you still have to pay Park entrance fees even if you are just going to the Inn.
Nope
Great sized rooms with beautiful views overlooking the lake, kangaroos right at the front, restaurant was great with a big menu and the food was tasty and big serves. Lots to explore and see great for families
Absolutely beautiful area
The setting is wonderful but in the room there is no information on the history of the inn, where the walks in the park take you, the sorts of animals and birds in the area. There wasn't a small pack of biscuits, pen and paper. etc as is usually the case in a hotel room. These are small things which would be easy to do and wouldn't cost much.
Spacious room
The staff there where great with there service in the dinning room and the food was well presented and delicious
Loved the location in the national park, great views.
The location of the property was beautiful, we were able to connect with nature right at the doorstep. The restaurant staff were polite and helpful and the food was very good. Sadly the room needs some TLC it was run down and smelt of stale cigarettes which was masked by air freshener, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable.
Although the property is aged, it's beautiful, waking to the wildlife was amazing. We will stay longer next time.
In the middle of a national park. very quiet with plenty of wildlife. 4 resident Koalas there. very pleasant stay.
Beautiful outlook over the lake. Walk to the Inn for dinner and brekky. Got up early for sunrise and listen to the birds and frogs. Stunning .
beautiful place... in national park with awsome walks... breakfast lunch and dinner available...tranquil... highly recommended
Good location for park exploration
Nice quiet location within the National Park.
Lovely place friendly helpfull staff highly recommend. Could use some new mattress' or toppers, but overall had a great time. Food and service was excellent Gary & Alexis
I loved the old hotel/inn part of the accommodation, the new building was ok but just had a slight damp smell upon entry
Girl at check-in was excellent however man at checkout was terrible. Towel rail was broken. Bunk bed very very squeaky. Need to do a clean outside of the room where the table is ...room 17. Maybe let guests know about the $15 park entry fee even when staying at the inn. A good clean and maintenance of the property would be great 😊
The surrounding national park was amazing and beautiful, so lovely to explore.
Absolute amazing place to stay. All the staff were amazing. Only regret couldn't stay longer to explore such a beautiful spiritual place
Yanchep national park.
Lovely large comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Staff friendly and very helpful. Pub grub excellent.
The park is good with a lot of animals. The room is old.
It is located in the beautiful national park
Very close to koala broadwalk, can visit anytime
Goodroom and facilities
Service was poor
We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Yanchep. We were welcomed with a free upgrade for our accommodation. Throughout our time there, the people of Yanchep Inn were polite and friendly. We enjoyed hiking around the Yanchep National Park and visiting the Ghost House trail. The food at the Yanchep Inn was done perfectly and reasonably priced too. We only have good things to say of this place. It is a perfect place for nature-lovers. We will be back someday.
Fantastic location and shower! With comfortable bed. Could watch the Wildlife and Lake from our balcony... Food in the Inn was lovely.
Very enjoyable stay with friendly helpful staff
Lovely room and view. Staff were all very kind. We will be back.
The Inn has a great atmosphere and staff. The dinner was excellent and we enjoyed Ronny the musician performing on Friday night.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Yanchep Inn. Nice and quiet and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely stay there again
