The only time we saw or worked with any staff was upon check in at the reception desk and when trying to check in our representative started to help guests who arrived after us. We tried to be patient but had driven several hours and had a new infant with us. The check in process was slow, unorganized, unpleasant and subpar. I would not recommend this property. There are plenty of better villas with better service and amenities.

Close to the beach, beautiful vegetation and quiet location. Unfortunately I was not able to sleep. The air conditioning was set so cold and there were no blankets. Additionally there was no access to internet.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with multiple balconies and a private hot tub. It was perfect for our family.

Close proximity to the beach.

The three bedroom patio suite was stunning to walk into. On the whole it was a good stay. Just a few things that needed to be corrected for future guests. The dishwasher did not work and had stagnant smelly water in it and the smell tended to permeate the suite. The air conditioners only worked in two of the bedrooms, and the stove did not work. It was such a nice place we worked around it all. It was perfectly located, about a 5 min walk to The Mosquito restaurant.

Great location but apt needed some updating

Apartment location is great and we loved the restaurant across the street. But the apt was dated with a musty smell. The balcony is big and a great place to spend your time. Inside, the lighting was terrible and the linens and towels needed a refresh. Don’t expect cleaning or extra tp or any basics like dish soap… it was a basic Airbnb experience.

The staff was exceptional...from the security guards at the front ,gate ,to the reception and housekeeping..everyone was helpful with every concern , all while smiling ...location was exceptional, the restaurant and bar was very good...will definitely return

It is in the perfect location, just outside of Las Terrenas. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, but close to dining and shopping.

there were a number of issues in our unit… the dishwasher and clothes washer did not work, the balcony doors did not lock, there were no screens on the windows and doors so if we opened them to get fresh air, mosquitoes came in! The lighting in the unit was super dim everywhere! no reasonable place to put in makeup/get ready to go out.

Good stay

We drove past the property seven years ago and it caught our eye. We stayed this time. Very nicely decorated inside. Beds and linens were great. Check in was very easy. The overall property is older and overgrown, but it works. The kitchen pots, pans and cooking utensils are a worn out. But we successfully prepared meals nonetheless. The restaurant on the beach is a real upscale treat. Good choices. Excel service and they served the food very fast. We will definitely return to this property.

Buen establecimiento, pero cuidado con los robos

El apartamento estaba en muy buen estado. El servicio es bueno en general. Nuestro único problema fue que nos robaron unas pertenencias que dejamos en el área de la piscina. Al reportarlo, no quisieron hacerse responsable de nada, ni siquiera se disculparon por lo sucedido.

I didn’t like the pool was therty and they didn’t change the pool towers we have to wash the towels to used again

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

We enjoyed the quiet, serene location. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. However, they should take a closer look at the sheets to make sure they are impeccable from guest to guest. Other than that this was a very positive well worth experience.

I love the deluxe apartment and everything else the pools, the beach right in front of it, and the restaurants at the beach it was perfect.

Location, with the greatest beach across the street. Staff super fast responding to your needs. Apartments with exquisit decoration and equipment. Not cheap but once you are ther you forget everything and disconect from daily life and enjoy Las Terrenas.

Loved the property with the only inconvenience being far from the city.

Our family went to spend new year and we were very happy with the apartment. It was nicely decorated, spacious, and clean.

Beautiful Place Bad Experience

I had to wait around 20 minutes just to begin with the check in, because there was only one lady in reception. When we arrived to the apartment, the WiFi didn’t work and the AC of the general areas didn’t work either. We made a report but nothing was fixed and apparently they knew it was damaged because they let it slip in one of my conversations with the staff. The apartment I was staying at, is privately owned and the owners sent a lady (first morning really early and entered the apartment without permission, checking everything on the kitchen) (second day we were at the beach and came back and she was inside, again without permission). There were no beach towels as the website described and when asked to send them, they arrived the second day in the afternoon. When I went to do my checkout (aside that the apartment was nice, the only good thing is that they allowed us to do a late check out) I waited and waited and waited, only one person doing the check out and they didn’t help guests in the order of arrival. I’m a very positive person and I ended up having a good time because I was spending time with my family BUT I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. At least not the unit that I stayed in. Of the 4 families making check out, sort of at the same time, one of them had a pleasant stay, the other ones didn’t.

Staff was nice and helpful. Installations were in excellent conditions. A secure place. The only thing that didn't work was the WiFi at the room but I didn't call to reception to ask help about it.

Excellent. The rooms are very clean and very spacious. We stayed in a unit with two bedrooms and two and half bathrooms. We loved it.

Weekend getaway

Always excited about a weekend getaway to Las Terrenas and Balcones del Atlantic. Nice and comfortable place. We are repetitive guests.

Quiet, comfortable and near of the beach.

We had a great experience, The staffs were very helpful. The Villa-room clean, the hotel is near the beach, so our family had a great time stepping into the clean water. The hotel was clean and had provided us great hospitality.The staffs were very helpful all the time. Overall great place highly recommended.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at this hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment had all the modern conveniences including full kitchen with a stove. The rooms had cable TV and flatscreens. The decorations of the apartment were flawless and everything was in super good condition and clean. The staff spoke English and was very friendly from the reception all the way down to the security guards. I would definitely return to this place with my family.

Great patios

Very clean with working amenities. This is rare in the D.R. nice location aeay from the noice of town but still only a few hours. Nice resturant at rhe beach.

Beautiful!

We stayed for one night at a 2 bedroom apartment.It was beautifully decorated.One bedroom had 2 queen size beds,while the master bedroom had a king size bed.There were 3 bathrooms.One of the bathrooms was not clean.There was still toilet paper in the trash can from the previous guests.The toilet was also dirty.

Great hotel close to the beach a lot of security

Second time around and this time around our experience was better. Great staff at the Porto restaurant new management. The security around the hotel makes it so much more easier to stay there.

The hotel is excellent with great apartments fully furnished. Great decoration and some luxury finishing. I loved my stay with the exception that the living area air conditioning was not working, and cable and wifi were intermittent. I loved the Porto Restaurant and the beach club. Excellent service there and the food quality was very good, and prices were in the normal range.

Good property for long stay

Not necessarily a hotel; we didn't know about this, thus got a bit confused at the beginning. The property is well located within beautiful Las Terrenas. It consist of beach apartments for rent by owners. There is a basic hotel service, not quite full. So be prepare. Overall it is a good option for family or long stays. The apartments are fully equipped.

Beautiful and Clean!

I enjoyed my stay! I booked this place for two nights. Took the option with breakfast (not really needed as food is cheap and restaurants are within walking distance). The rooms were equipped with everything. So, you can bring your own stuff and use their kitchen and charcoal grill. It is perfect for families that want to be comfortable without spending a fortune.

Very nice Property

Great apt. very large terrace with full Living rm and Dining area. High end kitchen and Baths. Staff was very attentive. This is more of a condo complex so it does not have a hotel or all inclusive environment.

the directions to the place are kind a difficult foe tourist to get there the place has no name in front or entrance but its a hidden paradise I was in room 1131 with two floors very comfortable bedding even thou the air conditioning was not working in one of the rooms we managed to enjoy the beautiful villa I highly recommended the best placed I stayed in this vacation

Amazing place!

Most beautiful place in Las terrenas. Great place for families. Included amenities I've never seen before in other hotels. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Outstanding service and outstanding place. This place is a small paradise in Paradise. My kids were extremely happy and I felt as if we were in heaven. Supermarkets and shopping, restaurants, etc close by. Beautiful area, looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

Nice hotel but it needs better management

It was a nice place but communication between the hotel staff could be better and the restaurant was not impressive either. The meny was quite limited And coffee for breakfast was dreadful.

Great hotel for events

The rooms were excellent. It was one of the VERY few times in my life when the hotel quality was actually much better than I thought. The facilities, the beds, the cleanliness and proximity to town. I would HIGHLY recommend this resort to anyone else.

A very nice condo complex with beach across the street. Good pools. Rooms very nice very secure, town was terrific. Local restaurants were great. Overall this place is for independent travelers. The management didn't have terrific language skill but they were very nice and got the job done. Restaurant is ok but not a highlight. Not part of hotel. No spa but that was ok. We arranged tours and meals independently and were very happy we did.

It's like been in paradise!

We had a very cozy little one bedroom apartment. The size was just right for two people. We enjoyed the little patio and the jacuzzi. Beautiful location. The service at the beach was superb. Staff very friendly wherever you go.

Great Hotel...

We only spend 2 night, but we had a such a good time that my son didn't want to leave.....Staff are really helpful and we received an excellent service. We are definitively going back to this hotel next time we are going to Las Terrenas

Ok experience

Beautiful location. Visiting from US flight arrived early tried to check in early couldn't. Then check in time 3 my room still wasn't ready had to wait almost another hour. Upon going to room the door key wasn't working. Maintenance had to come up and fix the door. The wifi wasn't working half the time nor the phone to call reception it kept saying out of service.

Too much money for the service

We arrived at 4 pm and the room wasnt ready. We received room at 6 pm. Wifi didnt work. Shower didnt drain. Checkout needed to wait 30 min.

Very surprised

The hotel was great. Enough room for a large family. The restaurant was excellent and Staff very friendly. It really is a complete two bedroom apartment that includes maids quarters. The room should have a better mini bar, it only had water in the fridge. Also has some problem with hot water at night

Nice rooms

Considering this is one of the nicest places to stay in Las Terrenas, it did not live up to the hype. We asked for the private hot tub to be filled and it never got filled. Our room keys stopped working twice. Our room was very far form the beach. Other than that the room was very nice with a very comfy bed.

Nice hotel!!

Very relaxing hotel. Doesn't feel like a hotel is more like your home right across the beach. Very clean facilities and beautiful scenery.
