The location in Griffintown is great. The hotel is an apartment building converted. The room I’ll be at small, is quiet with a nice view. The Aircon unit is a bit confusing. However, it works well. The garage parking has two elevators, and staff needs to tell us clients better which lift to use. Overall, this is a great place to stay.
Did not like that the property is shared with another hotel and apartments
It was great
Was great
Great location, nice condo
4/5, one light in the bedroom didn't work until it was plugged in another outlet, no microwave was found, other than that very great view and clean property.
Lovely hotel in Griffintown
Lovely
It is a clean and a cozy room, but I highly not recommend that because: 1) No parking; The hotel staff did not let us park in their basement parking (they have 5 floors for parking, but not sure how many parking spaces) and even we were willing to pay the parking fee. He told us parking on the street around the hotel; and there is a cul-de-sac where is around the corner of the hotel, and we could park the cars in there, but that hotel area is extremely not safe. My car was stolen on the first night staying in cul-del-sac parking space, and my friend's storage box which was on his top of the car was stolen as well at the outside of the hotel street parking space at the next night. 2) Access cards to room: Our check out time is 11:00am, but the room cards could be access to our rooms at 9:00am, it is ridiculous and unacceptable! 3) Services: My friends were also hastened to leave the room by housekeeping around 9 something on the check out date. Think twice if you really want to stay in this hotel!!!
The parking cannot connect with the building
Was a good stay
This hotel doesn't provide parking, the advertising is fake! As a result, we had to park in the streets overnight. We stayed for 2 nights. First night, one friend's car got stolen. Second night, another friend's car roof top cargo box got stolen, with all his families ski and snowboarding gears in it. We were all visiting from Ontario. Another issue, the hotel stated that the check out time is 11am. But at 9ish, when my husband went out, he couldn't use the key card to come back anymore. Both 2 key cards didn't work already. Lucky i was still inside the room to open the door for him. This so called "hotel" is strange, located inside another hotel. The office is at 4th floor of the other hotel. I would definitely choose a trustable big brand of hotels next time for safety issues.
Superb hotel with amazing views of the Montreal sky line. The hosts were super helpful. The only possible drawbacks were the relatively small tv (for 2024 standards) and a slightly displaced bathroom mirror.
This is truly a great stay, the only thing and issue that we had was finding the parking spot. The numbers are somewhat illogical, the hotel next-door has the spot numbers on the wall. These guys have it on the floor and it’s faded. Otherwise, everything was great.
My only issue will be parking but other than that, it’s excellent!
Not as clean as it could be, the shower was nice, but only having one entrance to the bathroom not a convenient design, No extra blankets for the pull out bed, that was disappointing. Thank you
Charged me double for the parking when I was only staying one night. Room didn’t have curtains in the living room and my wife’s wears a religious scarf so she could only take it off in the bedroom and couldn’t relax in the TV room in the evening.
Love the apartment, besides there weren’t enough parking. Suggest to reserve a parking spot when booking the apartment
Montreal family getaway
The hotel is very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable but more blankets or heavier comforters would be even better. Only one T.V.,which meant we had to watch the same thing. Couch not at all comfortable and same for kitchen chairs. Glad we didn’t have to spend too much time in the rooms for these reasons.
We loved the Staff members. They were so friendly, efficient, helpful, and warm. Made it a most memorable stay for us.
Our room had a beautiful city view. It was a nice apartment. The cable box was unplugged when we arrived and didn't realize it until morning, figured it out but it took 10 minutes to boot up. Parking instructions were a little vague. The shower didn't have a shelf for soap or shampoo. It was a nice place to stay.
Great spot to hang when in Montreal city
good
We had a lovely day and the location was perfect for walking to all the shops, cafes and major attractions of Montréal.
Everything is great
The WERFY Apart-Hotel shares a building with the Hotel Griffintown. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the hotel to Downtown Montreal. Also a lot of public transportation options nearby. Pros: The acommodations, amenities, and cleanliness of the apartments were excellent. The apartments have everything you need to feel at home while you are away including a microwave, utensils, pots, pans, stove, washer, dryer, and other amenities. There are a lot of great restaurants in the immediate area, and there are also 2 fitness centers in the area if you want to work out during your stay. Cons: I paid extra for a Canal View apartment, and I could not see the canal from my 5th floor unit. I asked to be relocated and was told there were no other rooms that would provide a canal view since all the higher floors were reserved for the weekend. I called Expedia for a refund of the additional funds I paid for the canal view and they told me they were not able to get in contact with the WERFY property manager to confirm my accommodations. Expedia sent me a follow-up message later that day and said they were not able to obtain a refund approval from the property manager and that the current rules and restrictions for my booking applies and a refund can not be granted. In my unit, I could hear loud traffic during the day and evening hours, but I was out exploring most of the time so I did not have to hear it too much. The TV does not have any local channels and you must use the Fire Sti
Great staff and stay!
Nice and spacious apartment. The issue to improve is the cleanliness of the bathroom (dirty skirting boards with dust and hair). Bathroom cosmetics set of average quality, does not include cotton buds or cotton pads.
Really nice stay
Everything was really nice clean and comfortable, the unit was well equipped and the bed really comfortable with nice pillows. The view was amazing
Parking wasn't communicated clesrly. Options were given, which worked out, but took a lot of investigation to get any information about the properties suggested. Once that was sorted after talking to local people, the parking was safe and easy to use. Just confusing to figure out.
It was very clean and had mostly everything we needed
We had a great stay, the traffic is loud but it was a beautiful property and the staff were very friendly.
amazing place and close to everthing
Love this place, but i definitely think the bed was too small. Im accustomed to a king-sized bed. Other than that, our room was beautiful and the location is impeccable.
Living room needs shades for privacy!
I didn’t mind parking two blocks away but the room was not clean.
Great 2 bed/2bath apartment. Close to lots of things. Was a great place to stay. Will definitely recommend to others and use it again.
The apartment was great, with beautiful city views, clean, modern, tastefully decorated. The only aspect I didn't like was that the hotel does not have parking, and we had to park at a public parking located at about 7-8min walk. It isn't normally a big deal, but it becomes inconvenient when the weather doesn't cooperate.
Not quality people, unfortunately.
Not quality people. Unfortunately, they sold me a parking spot that wasn't available, I had to come all they way back up from the garage to inform them of this and in the time I went in to tell them I was given a parking ticket. I informed them that I had no problem paying the difference between the parking ticket and additional parking charges for my stay - just reduce the fee by the parking ticket amount to offset it. Pretty logical I thought, considering the sold me (and I paid) for something they did not in fact have. First negative review I've ever had to write and I put about 50 nights a year in. Such an easy fix but low class leadership got in the way. Zero chance I would recommend this group/hotel to anyone.
Excellent property at an excellent location. Very friendly staff and clean room. 10/10 would come back!
Nice!
Nice place
Very nice place
Its convenient and alot of outdoor area to run, exercising and walk the dog.
Exactly as pictured, very walkable to restaurants, transit, groceries and the bell centre.
Great location But no curtains or blinds in living area People could see in at night and could not block out sun during the day Apart from that it’s very nice Canal path right behind hotel and short walk to down town It’s quite compact - no more than 2 people
Excellent place, great view. Ask for parking if you have a car.
Very nice apartment-style hotel near the Montreal canal. The room gives a homey feel, and also had a great view.
Reception was helpful and accesible 24/7 and addressed any concerns with ease! Would be happy to spend another visit to Montreal here! The view is amazing and they were more the accommodating during this stay!
Great experience, definitely recommended. Helpful and accommodating staff. Clean and equipped units.
Really enjoyed my stay I would recommend easily accessible to a few shops and downtown
The view from my room was spectacular I loved it, I will stay most definitely stay again in the near future.
A safe place for solo female travelers
This was my first solo trip. I loved the apartment hotel. It was perfect. I only stayed one night. However, the area it looks like it’s under construction but i most definitely felt save. I wish the inside of door had a dealt bolt just for my peace of mind. But there was no need. Walking Distance to everything.. 15-20min walk.
A fantastic stay at WERFY
WERFY provided us with an excellent accommodation, beautiful apartment with great views across the city and the port area. It is walkable and close to the city and the old port area. The size of the apartment is large and the 24-hour front desk at the 4th floor was very useful and helpful. The staff members at WERFY were polite and eager to help.
I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the property itself had potential, my experience was marred by an absolute lack of cleanliness. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by how dusty everything was; you could see the dust particles in the air. It was clear that the room hadn't been properly cleaned in quite some time. To make matters worse, I found hair from previous tenants on the sofa. It was incredibly off-putting and made me question the overall hygiene standards of the hotel. The towels looked so dirty that after showering I opted for drying myself with paper towels instead. Only stayed one night, nonetheless the dust was so overwhelming that I ended up getting sick during my vacation. I can’t express how disappointed I am; a clean environment is fundamental for any hotel experience, and this place failed miserably on that front. If you value cleanliness and a healthy stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This hotel may look decent at first glance, but the lack of attention to cleanliness makes it a hard pass for me. When I mentioned this issues to the reception all they told was to send an email to corporate. Again extremely disappointed. Expedia should definitely not have this as a VIP property.
It’s quit convenient location. Great place to stay.
This was alternative booking after I canceled booking from Le Sand hotel. It was expensive but very good
Great location, extremely walkable with a lot to explore. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Great check in and check out with friendly staff.
The location was good, very central to groceries, restaurants and especially walking distance to the old town. The room was clean and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. The downside would be that it was difficult to access when we first arrived because of numerous road closures in the area and our unfamiliarity of the location aggravated the situation. Also had difficulty finding parking spots, however good information upon checking in was provided to us and we were able to park in a safe underground parking a block away. It is worth noting that because there are residential buildings around there, parking your car on the street is not acceptable, even when no residential signage is posted.
The apartment was excellent, it had everything you needed to make your stay pleasant. The service from the staff was very good, they were always attentive.
Firstly, I would not describe the property as luxury. It was slightly dated. However, it was clean, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The washing machine and tumbledryer were put to good use. 4ft 6inch comfy bed and pillows were comfy too. A good 20/25minute walk to get to Downtown and Old Town. Bus stops are nearby though.
Great area, lots to do. Comfortable.
Super clean, accessible to many city locations, nice amenities. Our stay was wonderful. Property definitely exceeded our expectations.
Property Management Staff was very friendly and helpful
Good hotel rooms, they're just in a shared building with another hotel and condos which is fine, good idea actually. Basically Zero parking options though
Beautiful place, clean, quiet and everything you need for a comfortable dtay. Also, so many options for dining and the transportation is awesome. Thanks!
The room was lovely clean and well equipped. The bed was comfy would definitely recommend. Staff were helpful and the area was safe.
No over night parking unless you pay at the public parking that’s $70 for 24 hours
Great location!
Great location. Comfortable 2 bedroom unit for 3 friends. Very friendly service. Missing a couple things in the kitchen but the front desk attendant did not stop until he found what we needed.
If you are promoting this property to corporate travellers, please make sure that: - Bedside lamps are working. - There is an iron in the room - Both doors of the dressing cupboard open and not just one.
Lovely stay, very central. Will be staying again in the future!
Parking options are the one drawback. Otherwise loved it!
Griffintown area is up and coming. Convenient to downtown, walking path along the canal, restaurants, etc. Lots of construction, but wasn’t disruptive.
Dirty room, no housekeeping and terrible parking
Excellent place, easy to commute to Downtown Montreal
Liked the condo feeling
The place was great and the view amazing. Parking is not easy tho
Great location and rooms. Would stay again when in Montreal!
the building was amazing
Modern room with nice bed but cleaning service is a joke and the couch was awful. Otherwise a good place to stay
Excellent place to stay and less than 1 mile from old Montreal. It's less than a 7 minute drive.
Place is nice great location only problem there was a little bit of a stench in the closet near that bathroom that clouded the room after spraying and airing it out it was good
Excellent
Everything was exactly as advertised. Communication from the hotel was clear. Room was great and clean. Thank you!
Super clean and really nice. My husband stayed here for five days and we’re very happy with the room, and location
Overall was ok BUT when checked the bed, the sheets were not changed from the previous visitors. They were wrinkled and had hair and crumbs on the mattress sheet. Had to use one of the sheets from the blanket to cover the mattress. Felt gross to sleep in the bed with dirty sheets.
We would surely stay here again! The hotel met our needs but we still found areas for improvements such as the sink in the bathroom draining slowly, the sofa could be updated and some privacy curtains in the living room would be appreciated.
Reception was too good and stay was very comfortable
It was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again, probably in a slightly bigger unit.
Close to the cycle path by the canal. Great locale. Central.
When we arrived the bed had dead bugs all on top of it , and was filled with long black curly hair. (i'm blonde.) we were pretty disturbed by that, and our tv was broken for 2 days which was very annoying .
This is by far my worst stay ever! I dont belive this is a real hotel and it definitely not luxury. After struggling to find the place, i had find parking after ppor explanation from the receptionist. We drove to the nearby building where the receptionist told us could park and there was not a single soul to assist us. We went back out driving around attempting to find the second building she told us about and it was hell findind help. I was so fed up that i called the receptionist who picked up the phone after my 9th call. I told her that i would not mind if they charge a night but i needed findind anther hotel asap and she told me that she spoke to her manager i would be able to park at the hotel's parking. To make a long story short, this was a horrible experience. Also the bathroom sink takes so long to drain that we coukd not ise it but i did not even want to call the receptionist. So,this morning i went to the so called reception to check out and there was a note at the door saying to wait a few minute and someone would be back to assist; i didn't quote word for word but its close to whatever was written. We waiting about 5minutes and i was housekeeping walking by and when i asked her when would the reception be back she said soon and she told me that i could give her the room keys; then she decided to call the receptionist and she finally came and lord and behold i was so ready to be out of that place. I am mad at myself that i didn't rely on many reviews
Great space for bigger groups
We really liked the apartment style. The view was cool, having a full kitchen was nice, and the AC worked great. We also took advantage of the washer dryer. We had 5 people, so we did use the sofa bed and the only complaint with that was that there was some hairs on the mattress. There were also some hairs on the shower gel. Other than the hairs, the rest of the space was clean.
Amazing place to stay in Montréal! Very modern apartment and the staff at reception will provide you with anything you need! Amazing!
Excellent property, clean, modern and well located. A lot of very nearby construction work so a little bit noisier than ideal
Facility was very responsive, and we appreciated that we were able to store luggage and check-in one hour early.
Very cozy place
Everything was great. The view was spectacular. It was neat and tidy. We loved stay here. Although my only complaint is about the limited parking space. We did not get to park our car in hotel parking. Other than that I had a great experience here.
Wonderful stay! Very close to downtown and old Montreal.
