Bring a lot of spray to kill ALL THE ROACHES that that place is infested with. Pull the mattress away from the wall and spray behind the bed and around the headboard. Take cleaning spray and supplies too. Take shower shoes to wear throughout the room cause the tiled floor is nasty and that cheap thin piece of “carpet “ is really disgusting. Having to clean a room and having to be pest control is crazy. And I just had a piece of blue tape keeping the batteries in the remote smh

The room was absolutely disgusting! Smelled like pot, there were ants all of the furniture, open wires in the room, walls had grease on them by the stove where people cooked. Didn’t know how long the bedding had been there but nothing looked clean. We actually didn’t stay, we asked for a new room and they didn’t have any available. Thank goodness we were able to get a refund and we stayed somewhere else.

5 Stars!

I have been told its not a really good side of town, however i have been here a week and feel its perfectly placed. I havent had any trouble, the neighbors are pretty quiet and they allowed my animals. The price has been very budget-able. The staff is super friendly. All in all, 5 stars!

Worst Stay Ever!!

They never come to clean your room, the front desk does not even speak and when I said good morning twice. She look at me like. Why are you speaking to me. They are never open on time and the pets bark all day and piss all on the floors. It smells horrible in there!

Hallways of hotel had a very powerful off putting smell as well as the elevator. Rooms bed had someone else’s hair in it. The blinds were covered in a very greasy/dirty film that you did not want to touch.

You should not stay here.

The front desk would not give me extra pillows or blankets. You are responsible for taking your trash to the dumpster. The hallways is a lovely odor combination of marijuana and Urine. Absolutely terrible room, my mattress the springs are broken in the middle of the bed. You also had to sign a waiver that if anything if taken from your car and/room they are not responsible.

The Worse Experience of My Life

This place is so dirty, the outside appearance is amazing, just step inside, you are in a totally different environment. I couldn’t get my money back, but the clerk allowed me to pick the room of my choice, the best was really close to the worst. The floors were dirty, the furniture was old and the refrigerator was so old, it was rusty, so afraid to put anything in it. There was no remote for the television, but I must say, there was a new microwave. The clerk printed out my bill, it stated 69.04, but my card was charged 98.69, what happened to the other 30+dollars. This was the was stay I’ve experienced in my 40 years of traveling.

I'd Rather Not

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know. It is not in a good part of town, the parking lot has no security lighting, I had to change rooms due to the heat going out, someone urinated in one of the stairwells, the police had to be called there at least 3 times in the 3 1/2 weeks I was there, and numerous maintenance issues in the rooms exist. I left because I was fearful of my own safety or my car was going to be broken into, since it is pitch dark when I go to work, and the stairwells doors do not always latch correctly.

At first appearance the room looked clean. However the place has roaches. You have to ask for linens between 11am and 3 pm, so we did without the 2nd day as we were not told on checkin. My daughter had to take out trash out as they don't do anything if you are on a 4 day stay. Overall big dissapointment

You can tell illegal activity is going on the first floor and in the parking lot whit a lot of abandoned vehicles no wonder u have a no refund available. This property smell cigarete odor very strong. I did not have a towel. I saw roaches and one small spider abd there was dust and spider web everywhere and the floor was sticky. I will never stay there again. When I left at 8 a.m. there was a sign saying that office will be open at 10:00 a.m. and any instruction of how self check out so l slide the cards key in the front desk window; A gentelman who was cleaning the hallway told me that the office open at 10 a.m. and to slide the cards Keys under front desk windows.

This property is not well maintained, the area surrounding the property is considered a bad part of town and not at all conducive for the families visiting their loved ones on base as they are not allowed any where near this. The check in area wreaked of cigarettes and weed. And there is only an actual person there for a short period of time during the day.

We were told our room needs to have deep pest control spray & needs to have all of our belongings in suitcase. Toilet did not flush & I have to borrow plunger to repair. Staff did not come to address the issue. Someone knocked on our room at 4 am. Dogs were barking at night. Two people were talking at night outside of our window. This hotel should never be advertised in Expedia.

First and last time

The lady at the front desk when I checked in was very kind and she let me check out the room before I agreed to it. I was traveling with my dogs so I was glad that I found something affordable with my dogs however the room was pretty old and dirty there were spiderwebs and mold and mildew everywhere they had a kitchen stove but it was super dirty and no pots and pans to be able to cook. The outside had a nice grass area for dogs to walk around however there are plenty of dog droppings that owners have not picked up so it is disgusting and the unmanned after hours are a pain in the butt because I was trying to check out early and I couldn’t just leave my key anywhere and I had to leave and then come back hours later just to check out.

Extended stay is really low income housing.

Although we were happy to find a place we could stay with our Dog, there was really nothing appealing otherwise. A lot of long term residents have made this place a home. Very friendly. However, It felt more like a YMCA than a hotel

I reserved a nice looking, smoking room with 2 double beds. First room they tried to give me had a double bed....didnt even have a comforter on it.....and a twin size pull out sofa bed. UNACCEPTABLE. Second room did have 2 double beds....both with no comforters , just sheets and a blanket and was informed non smoking. No smoking rooms available even though i reserved a week in advance. When i registered they had me sign tons of no refund papers and like an idiot i signed them.... So i tuffed it out.. Then got the hell out. This place is more of a permanent residence for very low income individuals in the majority of the rooms. I paid over a hundred dollars per night but their sign says rooms weekly for 159 dollars. TOTAL RIP OFF AND DISGUSTING

I actually didn’t stay there. I requested to see the room prior to paying. The moment I walked into the building it was as if their A/C wasn’t working. The room itself was a complete lie when it came to comparison of the pictures and actual room. It was more of a cell block with two queen beds and dirty tile flooring. Very unwelcoming.

Although the staff was very helpful the room was very dirty and there are roaches everywhere. The only thing clean a bathroom where the sheets on the bed. This property need some major updates. I can tell that the locals has it as there living quarters which is fine but the place need some tlc immediately. When arrived I went to the front desk and she stated that they were booked. I explained that I had reservation so she was able to check me in. After receiving my key card I headed to the room only to find the door kicked in and a gentleman that was already occupying the room. It was a last minute booking so I was pressed for a reservation but I ended up not staying.and seeking a refund.

It was dirty. The pictures on the website are not the same as on site. There are some pictures of the entry that if you look at them, they are different locations. The current location as a door reader to get in to the section where the rooms are. The pictures do not show this at all. These pictures are from most likely when the building was brand new and looking good, or a different location completely.

When I got lost from looking for this place and I called the motel and I asked them to help me to get to them. She was very rude and also she said she could not help me then return my money back she said "NO" and she hang up the phone. When I finally got there she was not friendly at all. Then she gave me the key to the room, she did not tell me what floor the room is on. The room was not clean and the comfort had a hole and found some roaches' on the floor. I was ready to get out of the place as early as posible the next morning.

I arrived and the lady at the front desk was very nice. Once getting settled in the room I became aware of no pillow cases on the 2 pillows, only a sheet on the bed no type of thin cover just a plain top sheet. No wash cloths and out of the 2 towel I did have one was hung up as if it had been used and even appeared/smelt used. Remote was broken and no back cover over battery. All in all I understand you get what you pay for, but I find it unprofessional to not at least have the proper linens in the room and cleaned properly.

My prepaid reservation via Expedia experience was shocking after I walked into a "non-smocking room" which was not clean after the previous gust. The receptionist apologized and refunded only $50.00 back and could not find other clean room because all cleaning stuff gone until Monday. Desk clerk was rude. Had to wait an hour for Manager to return. She was rude also. I have never been to a hotel that requires each person staying in the room to have a picture of their ID on file. Absolutely ridiculous. If I'm paying for the room, I'm responsible, not everyone in the room. Will never ever go back there.

I booked a non-smoking room. Upon arrival I had to phone the office and pretty sure I woke the front desk associate. When he finally got downstairs, i was told there were no non-smoking rooms and I couldn't switch because nothing else is available. Fine!! I get to the room (on the 4th floor & elevator is broken), flip on the light and roaches everywhere. I immediately left and thankfully got a refund the following day. I do not recommend staying at this place.

I have never ever experienced seeing roaches in a hotel before, and the service was poor, phone line in the room didn’t work, staff barely answer at the front desk...... Staying at Wood springs was one of the worst experiences ever!!!!!!

Good Room with Bad Service

Overall I was pleased with the room’s comfort, the price and cleanliness but the receptionist was really unprofessional. She didn’t greet me when I walked in, and she was on the phone the entire time during my check in.

Wasn't ready

My stay was great the only problem was my room wasn't fully ready I didn't have an A/C unit in my room at first it took an hour to get an AC to my room the bed wasn't fully made no remote for the TV

It was bad! The bed was a spring mattress that you could feel every spring in the mattress. Roaches were seen multiple times. I left and booked another room with Country Suites. Hall was smelled awful. Bad experience!

People live in this build as there home the hang out in the hallway smoking drug I stay in room 410 the people in room 408 was so loud that my kids couldn’t sleep the whole time we was there this is one of the worst place to stay in fort Benning

Just the toilet fam

The service was good!! Super friendly. Only had a problem with the plumbing on the 3rd floor :( had to fix it myself and we didn’t get a room change after the toilet flooded. Other than that it’s honestly decent.

First timer in Columbus, Ga.

When I checked in, the lady at the counter was so nice to me and stayed accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. It was on my 2nd day when the man at the front desk seemed 'too busy' to help me find a taxi company phone number to take me to Fort Benning. He just said "I don't know any taxi cab phone number" and dismissed me.... big thanks to the gentleman who works there (I think he was taking care of the laundry) who said he knows of one and immediately gave me the phone number. One other thing, the room entrance and bathroom floors were not mopped.
