Was fine

It’s quite location. Very Friendly Staff. Clean well kept pool. Choices for morning breakfast. Great parking area, close to door. Clean room & great room service.

Stay was wonderful. Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Overall friendly staff.

The room was 15C when we arrived in the evening and it took 2 days of our stay to finally reach 20C in the room. Also, somebody strangely knocked on each door at 1030pm each of the 3 nights we stayed. Thx breakfast was quite sad to be honest, with very rubbery prepackaged eggs and sausage each morning. Our kids did like the pancake conveyor belt though and the hot tub and pool were a good temperature.

Very convenient to be in the location that it was. Very clean, but wished the lighting in the bathroom was better.

Great hotel with friendly staff, but there was very limited parking space which made it difficult to get in.

Desk staff very unfriendly. No heat in my room when I entered and it was really cold. The heater was very loud when it started.

I liked being greeted when i got off the elevator.

Clean and Comfortable

We had a great family stay at the Whyndam. The staff were all friendly and quick to help with any of our questions and requests. The pool water temp was on the cooler side but this didn’t stop the kids from spending hours on the water slide during our trip.

This is a fantastic hotel. Quiet and very comfortable. Large room. Comfortable bed. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and the staff are super friendly. Hot tub and gym area were clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Pub next door and walkable to oaks or Cattle Baron. We were in the area for a medical procedure and originally booked at the Super 8 on the other side of McLeod. After two nights there we realized we made a mistake and moved hotels. I wish we had spent the entire time at the Wyndham. So much better. So much cleaner. And so much more comfortable. If you are choosing between the two this is the better option hands down. Will stay here for any future appointments.

Very clean and quiet facility. Breakfast was good but basic (toast, pancakes, sausage, eggs, yogurt and muffins, along with a variety of cereals.) Friendly staff and comfy beds.

The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The staff were courteous and the hot breakfast options were great each morning. The pool was enjoyable and the water-slide was turned on as we requested it and the kids loved it. The beds were comfortable and I have a fussy back so to have comfort for a whole week was really relieving.

We arrived early and ours rooms were available and the front desk staff were so helpful and kind. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and polite.

Great hotel

I was coming back to Calgary as my parents are both in hospital. For me it was about being close to where they were and getting good night sleeps each night. I was there for eight days.

Very nice comfy facilities. Pleased to see a Bible in the cabinet. Breakfast was not special.

Easy check in. Staff friendliness was over the top. They genuinely wanted us there. Rental car onsite. Nice menu a sports bar like restaurant across the parking lot. Will definitely be back when in Calgary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , the room was very spacious and quiet. The Hot Tub and Pool rounded out the evening along with the restaurant we went to .

Check in was seamless and easy thanks to the friendly and professional staff.

The hotel was nice and the kids had a great time. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The only real negative was that the breakfast food didn’t taste very good and had a very small selection of food to choose from. But overall the hotel was good and we will stay again.

Hotel needs some updating, the rooms thermostat isn’t exactly accurate when it comes to setting temperature. The rooms have carpet, which can give the room a damp smell, since they have an indoor pool. The pool is awesome as it has a large kid slide. The front desk staff are nice but the breakfast staff is rude. Being kind and polite costs nothing but they choose to be rude. My wife asked about juice being served, and instead of replying in kind about breakfast hours, it was our first day they decided to berate her. Management - please talk to your staff! Remind them you are in the hospitality business. Hence minus 2 stars… could have been five if staff were doing their job.

Convenient location with lots of options for dining. Located beside a police station and right off the highway. Parking was easy as the lot was spacious - even when shared with the Avis car rentals. Free breakfast was nice but basic - breakfast was available from 6-10AM. We had sausages, eggs, pancakes. They also offered yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, and a variety of bread. One thing to note - if you’re a light sleeper, try staying on the highest floor as you may hear movement from neighbours above (the building is 4 floors). Overall good stay and would recommend.

Very nice place to stay

I have stayed at this Hotel many times. Sometimes on my own, other times with my family. The hotel is quiet, clean, with a nice continental breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, muffins, etc. I would recommend it to anyone. My room was huge (Jr. suite) and clean. Very quiet, too.

Deep bathtubs

I am here visiting my elderly parents in Calgary. I need somewhere close and comfortable. I stayed here before and The main reason I keep coming back here all the time now is because of the bathtub and the heated floor in the bathroom. I know it sounds silly, but that is a comfort I really needed. a nice deep bathtub. The heated floor was an added bonus. The first time the floor was really warm and now I don’t really notice it much so maybe there was a glitch the first time. Too bad as I really liked it. It’s still a great hotel

The stay was great and room comfortable. Only negative was that the equipment in the exercise room was non functional. Treadmill not working and universal gym cables were falling apart.

This hotel was super clean. The rooms are a great size and the beds comfortable. Would stay here again!

We had a great stay for one night. The staff was super apologetic that the 4th floor was under some renovations but that did not take away from our time. The hallway was under construction but not our room. Big room, quiet, great staff, close to shopping and dinning.

The security of the property was great. The main entrance was locked after a time at night and guests who come in after that could enter using their access key.

Our family enjoyed the stay at this property. Very nicely maintained. Rooms are quite large and clean. We have travelled a lot with our pet and this is one of the best pet friendly hotel that we have stayed .

Our kids loved the waterslide although several kids got hurt so there should a sign to wait 15 seconds in between. Breakfast was great - especially the “pancake maker”! It was disappointing that we prepaid and had to pay $300 deposit for one night of “incidentals” even without a mini bar or room service? Still waiting for it to drop off and way too steep compared to other hotels like the best western, which is only $50 per night deposit. Otherwise, good hotel for kids and lots of restaurants around like Moxies.

It was in a an area that was out of the business of the city

Squeaky bed. Not much choices with breakfast. Poor quality of coffees.

The property was quite busy and somewhat noisy. We found it was somewhat out of date and very slow elevators made it difficult to come and go. A decent breakfast but a very unhappy kitchen worker who mumbled as she worked and loaded the food into place. We asked for a spare toothbrush and were told there was no such thing available - i've never had a problem asking for simple toiletry supplies and was surprised there was nothing available. Smokers near the entrance made for a smelly load in/load out - smoking area should be elsewhere.

Will book again
