The room was very rundown and has not been maintained. All of the furniture is scuffed up and missing the paint. The bathroom is in poor condition, the toilet is all chipped and rather than replace they painted it.

Older but still nice. Decent price. Had our grandchildren so loved the water slide and pool. Great to have the breakfast buffet included.

The check in and out procedure was easy. There was a problem with our shower, we asked to move and were given another room right away. The space was clean but small areas in need of attention and repair were evident. The hotel is noisy with guests coming and going at all hours. The poo/water slide was crowded and very noisy. It was close to our destination and easy access. The breakfast included with the stay was tasty with a variety of food and drinks offered.

My kids loved the pool and waterslide and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

Stay was decent !

Everything was great. Friendly staff, good breakfasts. Excellent location. The only thing was other guests were very loud. But the property itself was excellent and will be staying there again.

We booked our room for 3 nights based on good reviews and location of this hotel. It was far from good . When on arrival the room we booked was wrong so the staff put us in another room on the ground floor..There was a domestic violence incident with a guy beating up he girlfriend next door to our room at 7 am nexr day . The manager requested to move us saying its best to move us apart to avoid each other because I called requesting assistance . It felt like this is normal occurance at this hotel . I did not understand what he insinuated by that but was not pleasant . They moved us to a room beside elevator upstairs . It was very noisy with kids running in hallways till 12 am . People talking outside ourdoor till past 12 am . Under our window one night was a gruop of men drinking beer and smoking making noise till 1 30 am . There was no hot water. Stains like blood or pee on the bed cover under the sheets . I found two rotten bananas behind the fridge . Overall it was the worst hotel stay from day one . I wasted my money 450$ staying here . Only good thing about this place was clean and breakfast was decent. In my opinion it was a free for all for kids running around and no rules. Partying is allowed . Lack of service . I will not be back . I rgret not booking in more classier hotel like Holiday Inn .

Rooms are clean and spacious. Pool area was fun and in good shape. Staff was friendly and accommodated out pet easily.

Well i booked a room a day in advance spoke with a staff member about my brother checking in , he assured me everything was all good. There would be no issues at all long as he had conformation number. My brother and his family make a trip down there couple hours early and gets denied access on the grounds his ID has an edmonton address on it. I call the guy and he won't even let me follow through with my reservation cause my Id also has edmonton address. They cancel my booking and keep my 250 bucks i paid for the room. I understand they have a no refund policy, on cancelations but this was due to being miss unformed on the no locals policy.

Great staff. Good breakfast but not enough choices. Washroom door knob in our room was broken. The shower grab bar was wiggly that could cause more accident if grabbed onto.

Breakfast had a good selection, is a 5 min drive to the mall and the pool/slide are great! Room was clean and staff were friendly.

I've traveled all over the world and this was one of my favourite stays! The hotel had a great feel to it. I was with 2 children and they both loved it. Breakfast was great! Coffee, tea, and ice water is available 24/7 in the lobby! The pool, hot tub and waterslide were fabulous! We went to it every day of our stay! The only downsides were the queen beds seemed narrow, and the sound proofing wasn't bad but wasn't great. This hotel is VERY kid friendly, so some noise of kids running around could be heard. We will definitely come again and stay here!!

I loved the hot breakfasts although some non-pork options would have been nice beside the eggs. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful!

Centrally located and near all amenities. The building interior is a bit outdated but the rooms are clean and spacious. Hot breakfast is included along with all day coffee. Did not use any facilities this stay but saw there was a nice swim pool with a huge waterslide and also a fitness area.

The staff was helpful, we had an issue with the mini fridge and they promptly fixed it, breakfast was good, room was clean and spacious

Liked everything else except the bathroom. The bath tub is plastic and flexible and the toilet is too small for a big person.

My review isn’t helpful for everyone but I’m pretty sure I’ve stayed at a Wingate with gluten free options for breakfast before. This one had none. If you don’t have dietary restrictions though buffet looked great, very fast waterslide. Clean. Very close to WEM.

I took the grandchildren on a road trip to Edmonton to see West Edmonton Mall. They loved the waterpark at this hotel, nothing but smiles on their little faces from the time we arrived till we left. I have recommended hotel to many people. We would definitely stay here again

Staff is awesome

Had no problems with our stay, breakfast was good. Check in was easy, pool area was perfect for our 3 year old.

It was a good stay so far,except the beddings on the sofa bed has a smell but that was just probably the detergent that they used. Over all, room & facilities were clean.

Kids loved the pool and slide! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Loud guests

The other guests were very loud. Between the floor above yelling and running wild until 1am or the hallway Neighbor’s banging on doors and yelling at 6am, my kids did not sleep good. The front desk were more into pleasing the loud guests and not ask guests to be quiet.

This is very much a kids sports team hotel. The weekends are mayhem. Continental breakfast was decent, well stocked and was happy to see eggs and sausage. The pool is on the small side and was jam packed with kids all weekend. I found some chips on the on the carpet of our room in plain sight when we first checked in. The rest of the room and the linens were clean. Its definitely a family hotel so if you're looking for quiet, this hotel is not for you. The staff was pleasant and helpful especially when the alarm clock of an empty room next to us started blasting at full volume at midnight. With our kid we would stay again, without him we would not.

The stay was pretty average! The breakfast was good, lots of options including waffles, bagels, cereals etc. staff were super friendly. When we arrived our pull out couch was stuck so we asked for maintenance and they were there super quick! Cons are the pool area is a bit dirty and you can tell the hot tub is kinda old considering how much bubbles and gunk come from the jets. Our room itself was decently clean but we did find a LIVE bed bug in our bed as we left. We let the front desk know at checkout so hopefully it’s taken care of.

Hotel was nice and they were great about getting the people above us to be quiet. I was not to impressed on how easy it was for my child to purchase a movie on the tv without me knowing about it and then telling me it was $26 charge.

The hotel it self is probably a 3. This was the loudest place i have ever stayed. Kids running the halls. Can hear every movement of tbe people above you. Make sure you are on the top floor

Clean and quiet, decent buffet breakfast, fun water slide, pool and hot tub and quick access to west Edmonton and west of the city.

Remote control for the TV did not work. TV itself had issues with turning on and off and the reception for the tv was not good. Dresser in the room had three drawers that would not stay closed. The would slide open anytime you put something in it or bumped it. Toilet would splash up on seat when you flushed. Mini fridge could not be controlled on how cold it can be. It was hard to tell the mini fridge was even on. We ran out of towels and I asked for more towels to be brought up and we never got any. My son had to use the small hand towels to dry off after shower. Continental breakfast was always running low on food and at times were completely empty. Not much for selection on food. There were no electrical outlets to plug into. You either have to unplug a lamp or crawl under a desk to plug a cord in. Not much for pillows on the bed either.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly no matter who walked by or had interactions with. Breakfast provided a well rounded meal to start the day. Highly recommend and would stay here again

Awesome water slide for the kids. Exactly what we were looking for in a quick one night stay!

Staff was nice and efficient. Pool was a mess. Some kids on our floor were running and screaming at times past midnight.

Picked hotel based on pool and slide, free breakfast. Was excellent pool and slide for kids. Breakfast was well stocked and clean. Room was nothing special but a good room for the price, nice and quiet.

4 requests for missing TV remotes and blankets. Plus a wired tune playing around midnight woke us up. Maybe it's haunted? Lol

Location was the priority for me. The bonus was the staff & cleanliness of the room & hotel areas inside Also, Marla at the front was extremely helpful in accommodating my changes of stay due to the passing of my Mother suddenly
