Staff was very good and helpful

The location was great. It is on a large square with trees and outdoor patios. Close to everything. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were there on a Friday night and the music and people outside were pretty loud but my ear plugs did the trick. Would definitely return.

Wine Hostel is perfect! Super cute wine theme, the building itself is adorable, not too big or crowded, the location is absolutely perfect and walking distance to everything, and my bed was really comfortable! I would 100% stay here again if/when I return to Porto! :)

Clean, Quiet, Friendly Hostel in a Great Location

This hostel was perfect! Recently updated, incredibly clean and welcoming, with a very helpful and friendly staff. The bathroom was recently renovated and perfectly clean. Common areas were clean and comfortable. Small number of rooms, so a little quieter than other hostel experiences. Only downside: No A/C in the room, but there was a large fan to help with getting air, and opening the window to the outside is always an option. Would definitely stay again!

great Port-wine «stand for» hostel

Nice ambiance and staff, but got bed bugs here!

I booked the 10 Anos private room for a night. It's a small room, but cozy (and dim). There's an attached bathroom, good curtains, heater and espresso pod machine. Unfortunately, there's also mold growing on the walls in the bathroom (I heard another guest complain about leaking water from the ceiling, too) but it's an old Porto building so that's to be expected a little. What I didn't expect was to wake up with about six BED BUG bites on my arms and neck area! These bugs crawled into my suitcase and I am dealing with them in a totally different country and will be forced to throw away EVERYTHING I brought on my trip to be safe. The hostel said they recently dealt with an infested room (!) -- don't know which -- and they have had no complaints from my room before or since (I stayed three nights ago). I have had bed bugs before so I know all the signs, and I 100% got them at this property, so beware. I have asked to be put in touch with the manager but haven't heard anything back, yet. This was a huge disappointment that has ruined my experience in my current city, and it's a huge shame bc this hostel is well-located, has a cool vibe, and (would be) good value. But now, it's costing me about 4X or more because of throwing all my things away not to mention being covered in bites.

Steps above excellence! Helpful staff well beyond

I left my pair of prescription glasses in a city bus and had to leave for a flight connection before I could contact the bus "lost & found". The hotel staff dud contact the bus company on my behalf, found my glasses, and mailed the glasses to my home. The dud the same for a jacket that I left in the hostel. SUPER! The hostel has private rooms. The common room is an opportunity to mix and exchange conversation with a variety of interesting world traveling people. In addition, the hostel has a nightly HAPPY HOUR! Great time to have a glass of port wine, and interesting conversations. One last item. Laundry can be done while staying in the hostel. The staff was kind enough to hang my clothes to dry while I explored Porto. If you do not book a stay at the Wine Hostel, you are missing an opportunity for social exchange and a great location to begin exploring Porto. I highly recommend the Wine Hostel. One more note: no elevator, so people with physical limitations this may not be the place to stay. The stairways are an easy climb.

Weekend in Porto

Helpful & friendly staff. Hostel is in a great location for bars & restaurants. Plus all the main points of culture are within walking distance. Would highly recommend Wine hostel.

Don't stay there

Their porto wine is good. But,every other thing is horrible. Room is so small and cold. Bathroom? OMG... Breakfast? ...

Gorgeous Hostel

Staff was wonderful, the hostel itself has an amazing ambiance...large common room - really conducive to meeting and interacting with people. Breakfast was great (fresh crepes, cheese, sometimes meat if you are there early enough, fresh fruit, milk/juice/tea/coffee/hot chocolate, cereals), and in the evenings they have ridiculously well priced drink specials :) The location is wonderful - most places are walkable.

Nice and clean with adequate facilities and a good location. Surrounding businesses got quite loud during some nights.

Great Hostel Right in the Center of Town

This is an excellent hostel for someone looking to have a good time. It's well situated and they have a plethora of activities they organize or partner with so that no one is left being bored. I really suggest it!

Super, j’ai passé 3 nuits dans l’auberge, j’ai été accueilli avec un verre de Porto, la chambre est propre et agréable avec salle de bain et toilette à l’intérieur, le lit est également confortable, je recommande. De plus il est bien situé avec de nombreux restaurants et bars aux alentours pour se restaurer

에어컨이 없어서 매우 덥습니다. 선풍기는 있으나, 없는 것과 다름 없습니다. 숙소 밖은 술집이 많아 새벽까지 시끄럽습니다. 다만 스태프가 친절하고 위치가 매우 좋습니다. 즐거운 경험이었습니다. 감사합니다.

Sehr schön hergerichtete und sehr saubere Unterkunft. Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Netter Aufenthaltsraum (Bar) mit Küche nebenan. Das Doppelzimmer selbst sehr schön, das Bad winzig, aber sehr sauber. Vom Wine Hostel kommt man sehr schnell zu Fuß in alle Richtungen, z.B. zur Altstadt in ca. 10 Minuten. Dabei auch sehr ruhige Lage, an einem Platz mit großer Grünanlage. Kein Autoverkehr in der unmittelbaren Umgebung.

Som nybliven pensionär så kanske inte det här alternativet är det bästa. Rummet låg längst upp bara trappor. För mig personligen inga problem Suverän frukost. Personal väldigt tillmötesgående. Internationella gäster ( backpackers). Centralt läge med restauranger och caféer utanför porten 👍😀

Super schönes, sauberes Hostel

Das Hostel hat eine super Lage, von dort kann man fast alles zu Fuß erreichen. Unser Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber dafür sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, das Bad war modern und sauber. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker, nur der Kaffee sehr schwach. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind gemütlich eingerichtet und das Personal sehr freundlich! Nachts war es immer mal wieder laut, da vor dem Hostel einige Restaurants und Bars sind. Auch die Uni ist direkt um die Ecke. Sonst war alles perfekt und sehr angenehm! Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen!!

완전 추천!

이틀 묵었는데 엄청 좋았어요! 스탭들도 모두 친절하고 객실이랑 화장실, 샤워실도 모두 깔끔합니다. 한 가지 아쉬운 점은 와이파이가 잘 안되었다는 점. 도착하자 마자 포트 와인도 시음하게 해줬어요. 인테리어도 이름이 와인답게 오크통이랑 코르크, 나무 등등 되게 센스있게 되어있고 객실 크기도 8인실이었는데 굉장히 컸습니다! 완전 추천해요 :)

숙소분위기가좋았구 방도 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 무엇보다도 직원들의 서비스가 최고였어요. 근데 삼일간머무는동안 와이파이가 끝까지 연결이되지않아서 그게 좀 불편했네요ㅠㅠ

La ubicación es excelente justo al lado de la torre de los clérigos y con un bonito parque delante. Ofrece además un montón de servicios como visitas guiadas gratuitas y una happy hour dese las 7 de la tarde hasta la medianoche con unos precios muy bajos

悪いところがない、おすすめホステル。

立地が非常によい。見所が徒歩圏内で、教会のそばで見つけやすく、駅も近い。 通り側の部屋なら日当たりもよく、清潔感がありバスルームも可愛いらしい。 バーがあるけど、夜にうるさいということもなく、安くお酒が飲めるのでよい。 レセプションも愛想がよかったので総合的に悪いところがなくおすすめ。

Нормальный тематический хостел для простых туристов. Расположение удобное. Станция метро в нескольких минутах ходьбы. В хостеле имеется небольшая кухня с плитой, холодильником, микроволновкой и посудой.

charme de Porto

très agréable bon accueil

Beau séjour, par contre loin des attraits touristique si tu veux y aller à pieds et loin de la plage...L'aéroport est aussi à 1h15 de marche, c'est bien à savoir... Sinon le petit déjeuner est excellent, les chambres et tout.

Ótimo hostel com uma excelente localização

Passamos eu e minha esposa cinco noites em maio nesse hostel. A localização é excelente, próxima a Universidade do Porto e defronte a uma linda e histórica praça da cidade. O staff do hostel foi super atencioso, sanando quaisquer tipos de dúvidas que tivéssemos.

Was een goed en heel vriendelijk hostel ,,,, personeel heel gemotiveerd en super lief en behulpzaam . Veel gezien en een goede lokatie voor uitstapjes . Min punt elke avond tot in de nacht heel veel lawaai . Jammer .

Hostel aconchegante, decoração bem bonita

Hostel muito agradável e funcionários extremamente gentis. Áreas comuns bem decoradas, opção de degustação de vinhos. Café da manhã com pouca variedade, porém disponibilizam a geladeira se quiser armazenar algo. Hostel sem elevador, o que dificulta o transporte das malas para o quarto (ficamos no 3º andar). O wifi não pegava bem no quarto (bem lento) apenas na sala e recepção. Estadia bastante agradável. Recomendo fazer o o free walking tour que passa no hostel para pegar os hospedes, foi um passeio muito legal!

中心の駅からは少し歩きますが、旧市街に近く、観光に便利でした。部屋も清潔、リビングスペースではポルトワイン等が注文できました。

Fun atmosphere, suitable for young folks.

Wine Hostel is a hostel for younger people, as most of the guests were in their early twenties if I were to guess. There was a lot of noise from the dorm rooms. As a couple in our early thirties, we had our own room with private bath. The room had a french balcony overlooking the park, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious enough. We enjoyed the room, but the couple we travelled with got a much smaller room in the attic with only a small window facing the inner yard. Breakfast was simple selv-service, good enough for us. There was even pancakes one morning. The more experienced staff members were smiling and helpful, the younger staff hardly looked, smiled or talked to us. Check-in and check-out seemed confusing for the staff and not too well organized, and the "front desk" is literally in the stairway. All in all; good and easy atmosphere, clean and comfortable private room, but more suitable for younger people and backpackers.

여긴 뭐 말이필요없는 최고의 숙소 입니다. 여행 모임에 사진 올리며 추천까지 한 호스텔이예요. 처음 찾아갈 땐 돌바닥이라 고생 좀 했지만 다녀보니 렐루서점, 동루이스 다리 등등 투어리스트 트랩이랑 거의 5분~15분 거리. 실제로 저는 교통비 하나 들지 않았습니다. 주변도 너무 예쁘고 와인호스텔 답게 해피아워 적용하여 샹그리아도 1유로 등 이벤트도 많이 하더군요. 방에서 꽃향기도 나고 청결하고 제가 묵은 방에는 세면대까지 있어 정말 좋았습니다. 암튼 완전 강추!! 언제 또 포르토에 갈 수 있을지 모르겠지만 전 무조건 여기!!!
