I have stayed in many hotels around the world, this was the most disgusting plaice i stayed in

nice park by the river and Irish bar near by

Nice management. Went out of their way to help make our stay enjoyable. Price was great and location awesome.

Do not stay here. Do not list this motel as a place to stay avoid this and find a safer cleaner and slightly more expensive place to stay.

Spend the extra money for a better place

The bed was small and very hard and uncomfortable and overall just unpleasant.

Comfortable, Quiet, Available parking space in front of the room, Service readily available.

Great motel for a mid trip break, The Sloop Hill State Unique Area is walk/short drive and is a great river park

Lock on door did not work, no security chain, no tissues, no plastic cups gross dirty parking lot . room was clean . portable hater hard towels what do expect for a cheap place

Very poor motel. They are in the midst of renovation and it shows. For example, there were cement block chips right outside our door. In fairness, I think they are trying to improve the place, but until that is done, this is like a third world hotel. I feel misled, and as a result, I won’t use hotels. Com again.

Save yourself, just keep driving!

Whoa!! This felt like I stayed in the middle of a horror movie. I was so uneasy the entire time. Rooms had a layer of dead bugs along window, numerous holes in walls, shower. Strange odor. The door and especially the windows did not make me feel secure with the types of locks. Lobby had an even stranger odor of cheap cleaner mixed in with mold and I'm not even sure. Clerk was coldish and rude. Sleeping in rest area with windows open next to a Max prison that had serial killer escapees would have felt safer and smelt better. .... Just go..don't. i like I said, I felt I was in middle of a horror movie * shutter

I didn't feel safe. The floors were uneven and slanted about 8 degrees West. I was afraid I was going to fall through the floor. The room and bathroom smelled of mold. The shower walls were caked with mold. I tried to spray with Lysol. The toilet was not stable. The window did not lock in the bathroom. The place should be condemned. Why was this place on expedia???

Discrimination against the mentally disabled

They were very unkind to me and my family I was there for two days before they told me I had to leave and refund my money and they lied saying that he was giving us another room but said that there was no more rooms after I already checked out. I was discriminated against for being mentally and emotionally disabled and I do not recommend staying there.

Easy check in and out. Mold in bathroom on ceiling, shower, and walls. Very thin walls could hear conversations of those outside as well as in rooms next door.

fast wi-fi ,big room, friendly host, but some stuff are old and broken

This motel was deceptive starting with the unkept grass front, swimming pool filled in w/dirt and construction debris and overflowing dumpster piled on top, No continental breakfast available. Room #35 had the a/c unit mounted within a closet that had the door removed. Big tip-off were the 4 roach traps along the floor boards and the stain bed covers. A policeman I met said Windor's police and other agencies always make drug and vice arrests at this hotel. Cops were out front nightly. No screens on windows in rear of room. A map in lobby showed town and when asked what local sites were popular-clerk couldn't find motel's location to reference attractions. Rating F with 3 stars.

We are living through a remodel of an 18th century farmstead. Needed the most inexpensive option to shower and sleep. The Windsor Motel is clean and has ample hot water. One complaint... I would have enjoyed an outlet in the bathroom (or anywhere) in which to plug in a blow dryer, but there wasn't any. I'll live. : )

Friendly, but last choice

The owners/workers were very friendly. The sheets were clean and the towels were new. Needs a lot of work, and is a run down motel, but for trying to find a cheap place to stay at the last minute on a very busy weekend in the area, it worked.

Just horrible

From mouse poison bait stations in the bathroom to exposed filthy box springs on the beds, this place doesn’t even try to present as a decent place to stay. Don’t stay here.

Worst than the bates motel

Their was some type of rodent in my room. There was no heat. My room had a space heater. There was hairs around the tub. The sheets couldn’t have clean, I Broke out in hives. I stayed here out of sheer desperation.

The floor tiles near the toilet were sinking possibly do to water damage. No heat except for a space heater that was on upon arrival. No heat in bathroom too cold to even take a shower. Hot water took to long to come through even to shave. I WILL NO RECOMEND THIS PROPERTY.

Not bad just gross bathroom

The room wasn’t bad except for the bathroom the shower kept dripping on the floor and the walls, windows and bathroom need fixing and or replacing it made uncomfortable to use it.

BED BUGS! MOLD AND MILDEW! YUCK!

Terrible place. Mold and mildew in shower. Windows don't lock and BED BUGS! BED BUGS! BED BUGS! HORRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. Also a weekly and a man followed me around. Unsafe.

good hotel if you need a cheap one just a room and a bed if you want more you need a different hotel

Very Poorly Maintained. Original showers and fixtures from the 50s or 60s. Appears to be clean.

This was by far the worst hotel we ever stayed in. If you have a choice choose your car.

It was reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly. Room had some rough spots (punch marks in bathroom door, broken towel rack, small shower). Overall, it was worth the price. A little TLC and it could be a much nicer facility.

Rooms need renovation. Bathroom tiles falling off. Shower are small and molding on gravel. Very poor lighting. Bulgie mattress. Never again.

DON’T Go there you’ll. Be very disappointed!

This place is a DUMP & FILTHY! We arrived at 10:00PM because we weren’t arriving with the directions & the office kept misleading us & then telling us something else. The walls & baseboard have most likely never been cleaned. Bottom line I wouldn’t suggest this place to even a bag person

Will not return to this hotel

The rooms were in pretty bad shape, and the shower was pretty poor. There was about an 1/8th of a roll of toilet paper with no spare. I had to walk down to the office to get another one. There were stains on a rag that looked awful. The walls were thin and the A/C unit was extremely loud. The two men who worked there however, were very polite and responsive.

Dirty towels and blanket, bed lights don’t work at all. Hard bed and noisy air conditioner.

quiet location with restaurant nearby

Owners are slowly renovating rooms, bed was comfortable, rooms very spacious. Our room did not have many plugs and none in the bathroom for use with hair dryer nor electric shaver . No ice machine, but there is a fridge and micro. the price of room reflects the value. Cheap place for those who are seeking a safe location for sleeping as they travel.

Not worth the money

Paid $85 for one night and its not worth it. The room is dirty, and the wall is too thin that you can hear people talking in the next room.

A real hole in the wall

The condition of the room was horrible. There was literally several holes in the walls as well as in the floor in the bathroom. The shower curtain was disgusting as well as the overall cleanliness of the room period. Most lights in the room didn't work.

Place was dirty smelly I found a crack pipe under the bed and the shower made me feel like I was in prison

Needs work!!!

No electrical outlets in the bathrooms, patched up a/c Needs paint and new numbers on doors and exterior of units, No vents in the bathrooms. Pool in now filled in with dirt.. Lawn care lacking. Doors had to be kicked to get in the rooms

Room didn't have towels

This was an older motel but looked clean. Staff was courteous, but wasn't there when i needed to check out. It was around 6am. At 145am we heard around knocking. When we cautiously opened the door, It happened 2 times and them a car alarm went off. It was vey difficult to get back to sleep.

They bed is so uncomfortable you can barley sleep.

hookers and crackheads

Nasty place, drug deals , hookers, cops all night. Beds were terrible one was a rock the other was a black hole. A/c didn't work right, the bathroom vanity was rotting away from the water running out the drain.

Location moderately close to West Point, beautiful area.

OK as a temporary, survivable site.

Stay was not great. When we arrived there was no heat. We had to tell the person working with the front desk about that and she had to go to the front desk to turn it on. It was a good thing she was walking past our room at the time because the telephone wasn't working, so we had no phone service during our stay. Also, we had to tell her that there was no blanket on the bed under the bed cover. She had to bring us a blanket. The continental breakfast was minimal - juice, coffee and bagels or doughnuts. The breakfast area was VERY small with only a table for two. On the last morning the chain connecting the toilet flush arm to the flush hole cover broke and I had to do a temporary fix because the office didn'the open until 9 AM to report it.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good....The room had been recently painted and the bed was comfortable. The Bad .... We had no TV service at all and breakfast was coffee and a bagel. The Ugly .... The room was quite dirty in the corners and the stains on the towels were disgusting.

Sleep in your car!!!

I spent from 2:30 am until 7:30 am Can you say DUMP, I should have slept in my van, the seats are better than the beds in this place, the neighor blasting music at 2:30 am the bathroom lights NOT working at all, I worked a job locally and needed a few hours sleep before a 4 hour ride back, I would have been better off driving straight back with out trying to sleep SORE back, I looked at shower and drove home without one. HOW do these places get away with out doing anything?? and FYI as I was checking in another person was loudly checking out because of the condition, I guess that should have been my hint to not stay over.

Clean budget friendly hotel, easy access to WP

I could go through a list of issues with the room, but why? It's a typical no-frills budget hotel and they had little to do with the overall stay. Bathroom floor was noticeably slanted, but that didn't affect anything. We had two rooms and both were perfectly clean and looked fine when sleeping. Ash, the lady at the desk, was extremely nice and helpful. Easy access to West Point straight down Hwy 9 to Stoney Lonesome Gate. New Windsor has some nice restaurants if you look for them. Also, the Irish Pub next door is a treat for a late night Guinness, especially visiting with the Dublin-native behind the bar. If you're on a budget or every other hotel near West Point is sold out, this option will work for you.

The staff was wonderful. They were new to the area

When I find food in the refrigerator, I am concern with the overall cleanliness of the room. The bathroom sink cabinet was kicked in. Everything did look clean otherwise.

You Get What You Pay For

If you're looking for the elegance of a Hilton, then find another place. But, if you're not picky about finding a bed of roses, then this is the place to stay. The price is right. Ash and the rest of the staff was very nice.

Windsor Motel

The cable TV was down. The wi fi didn't work even with the code. No restaurants were nearby. The air conditioning was working but not as effective as it could have been.

Most horrifying ever!!!!

Police were there when we checked in kicking people out of one of the rooms. Hair and bugs in the bathroom, blood on the bed cover and super sticky floor. The people staying there looked like they were drug dealers and lived there. Can not tell you how much you need to stay away!!!!

Worst night ever

It was horrible the toilet when I went to flush was flooding over instead the cable that was supposed to be offered was not all the channels did not work it was a horrible stay then at about 8am they were on the roof banging like they didn't have guests that are sleeping and due to check out at 11am I feel that was rude. The stay was awful I don't think I will ever go back there again.

Signed up for a non smoking room. Given a smoking room. Had to change rooms. Very thread bare motel. Hotel clerk was pleasant.
