Great hotel!

Have been staying here whenever I visit Taichung for the past 10+ years. This time, I discovered that they offer really good ginger tea at the check in area and this is one of the best ginger tea that I’ve ever tasted! Room are big and clean that I’ve used to as before, breakfast buffet are still really good. I will continue to stay here in the future!

Great Start!

Outstanding hotel with all of the amenities from high end fitness center with 25 meter lap pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room! Room was spacious clean and service was outstanding. Majority of the staff spoke English and were very helpful. Be sure to get the breakfast buffet. You be happy you did.

Must stay Hotel in Taichung

Beautiful, clean and convenient. Thanks to everyone for making this a wonderful stay. The adjoining rooms were well appointed and the sauna was awesome. Drinks at the 8th floor bar were delicious and the bartender was friendly and well informed!

The hotel let me checked in one hour earlier than scheduled, which was really helpful and thoughtful.

Comfortable Hotel with Good Breakfast!

Very comfortable and nice hotel. Spacious and clean room with a good morning breakfast selection including both Western and Asian choices. My favourite is their beef soup. They provide a pot of hot beef broth and you can select the fresh thinly sliced beef and placed in your personal bowl. Absolutely delicious.

The hotel looks bright and like new from outside. Its staff is very polite and helpful. Its restaurants seemed to have few guests. And the Chinese restaurant on the second floor was closed on the night I stayed. We did not feel like to eat at the buffet restaurant on the B1 floor. We ended up eating dinner on the first floor’s cafe which is fine. I had hoped it has more selection of restaurants.

I was amazed by the attitude of the front desk staff when I informed them that my room key can open my friend room. They said that they will follow up and brushed me off. Hope this is a one off event.

For the 2 weeks we were there, everything and everyone was great. It was a real pleasure to be there. If I ever go to Taichung again, I will stay here. Thank you all so much.

Good service and location

5-star hotel with more to expect next visit

It’s a nice hotel with wonderful facilities and we’ve always enjoyed our stays there. However, it was not satisfying this time. There wasn’t any hot water for the first night and the next morning. I filed a complaint at the front desk on my way out for business. The lady at the front desk wasn’t pleasant at all to receive my complaint. I was the one who didn’t have hot shower and I had no idea why she was giving me her attitude. Later the day I received a call to inform me that the problem was resolved and they a bottle of red wine was left which was a nice gesture. I had supper at Rose Café on the first floor and the food was superb but the service was disappointing. My family and I would go back again because of the relaxing atmosphere, the great facilities, the wonderful food and open space. Hopefully the staff would be more welcoming at our next visit.

On-going renovations means a lot of the facilities are not available at present however this has not affected the high standard of service and cleanliness.

Quiet stay

Quiet and comfy enough. Molded areas in the shower and I told the receptionist about the broken weight scale the first night but it was never fixed by the time we checked out on the third day in the morning. Will go back again because it’s quiet and no smoky smell in the room.

Dirty and tacky

Egads! The carpet was so dirty inside of the room that I didn’t even want to change into the room slippers. Take a look at photo of the carpet. 5-star rating by the Ministry of Transportation is a joke.

Service and staff could not be faulted and were really professional. My only small complaint was the dirty carpet in the room itself

The toilet is so small that it is suitable for children. The bowl is small to start with. The hotel added a washlet that occupies a good part of the opening. The buffet arrangement is questionable during the pandemic.

The construction going on in the front hall really cut down the value of this property; amenities are mediocre, not awful but also not up to par with this price tag.

Good sleep without smell of cigarettes

It’s a 5-star hotel but the towels were old and smelt awful. Great thing is that NO smelt of cigarettes at all. Hotels in Asia, although marked no smoking, tend to smell cigarettes especially in the evening even with 5-star hotels.

Excellent location near the highway, 10 minutes by taxi from HSR train and 5 min from downtown. Good and clean SPA and nice restaurants.

Excellent service .. not great meeting room facilities but the staff did their best and pulled out all the stops.

This is my return visit to Windsor Hotel- Taichung. I was there July a year before. The services I’be received from the staff has been even better than my last visit. It has been a wonderful stay for me!

baby friendly hotel

very nice experience in staying in this hotel! we stayed with my 7-months old baby, and all the arrangement of the hotel was nice and this made our stay more comfortable and easy. Staff are nice and helpful-~! We used the jacuzzi pool and the view is stunning! the location is just so-so, but uber are easy to be used in Taiwan😘😘

Bad service

The service is very bad. Encountered a few workers with very bad attitude. My colleague's room was even unlocked after the cleaning services.

This hotel was recommended to me by Intai Technologies in Taichung! The hotel was Very Clean, lots of natural light everywhere during the day and well lit in the evenings..... Very modern facility.... The corner room in which I stayed three days was large and very well organized and cleaned well daily! The bathroom was also large with a private toilet room with the "automatic" seat heated/water cleansing feature.... Breakfast Buffet was GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE, Especially the Gentleman that cooks the "made to order eggs" GREAT GUY (The English name on his badge was WAITER) ;-) AND A Great Location! The only hiccup I experienced was they required a Credit Card Deposit and THEY WERE UNABLE TO REVERSE THE DEPOSIT upon CHECKOUT, NOT GOOD FOR A FIVE STAR HOTEL. They finally accomplished it and e-mailed me the transaction which I received after my flight arrived at my destination 8 hours later. So if you want "positive" settlement of your deposit upon checkout, do not provide a credit card for the deposit USE CASH and they can handle that instantaneously upon checkout! I will definitely use this hotel again!

The Windsor Hotel was a very clean and well maintained. It is close to the local bus station (which is very convenient as there are a number of buses that take you straight to the Feng Jia night market for free). We opted for the breakfast buffet and it definitely did not disappoint! With a variety of both western and Asian dishes, the choices were delicious and reminiscent of a Las Vegas hotel. The room itself was excellent and we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel seems directed toward business travelers. Be sure it is convenient to your destination.

What is there not to like?

From the buffet to Rare Bar and Steakhouse, the cafe at the lobby level, to the Zen Abalone Chinese restaurant, al of which I enjoyed this trip, this hotel has the best food of any I've stayed in Taiwan, or perhaps anywhere. Add that to state of the art room control, great staff, and great location close to THSR and the freeway, Windsor is my go-to in Taichung.

This hotel was by far the best I’ve been in Taiwan. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Gym & spa we’re fabulous. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. Definitely worth it & will be back!

Windsor Hotel

All Hotel staffs are courteous and can speak English very well, some are more fluent than others. The room is extremely clean, WiFi works well, good breakfast choices and great location (right off the highway so you don't have to sit through traffic). There are other hotel choices but I always stay here.

房間很舒適，床很舒適，front desk的服務又快又好，浴室寬敞且shower水量很大。完全無可挑剔 自助早餐很美味，目前是我住過台中吃過最好的飯店早餐

房間寬敞，整潔，健身房不錯，早餐一般般。 整體還算舒適的酒店，酒店位置不在新興七期重劃區。

失去招牌賣點令人惋惜

已住過多次，供四名房客的雙房空間規劃非常好，不但空間寬敞且連通的空間規劃非常優秀，房間裝修雖多年已不新，但都是實在有講究的用料，且保持十分良好，房間也十分乾淨。唯獨此飯店重中之重、最大吸引人賣點的早餐出乎意料大翻車，菜色內容與豐富度與之前入住經驗已打對折，雖與一般普通飯店差不多，但若是如此水準，實在不必再選這家入住。令人惋惜。

整體來說都不錯，只是酒店近比市中心偏遠。不容易找好野食

多次入住，安靜、乾淨、食物優，地點優越

很喜歡裕園花園酒店，不論出差或旅遊，有來台中幾乎都會來住一晚。除了乾淨度高、服務優、床非常好睡（跟涵碧樓的床是同一個品牌），隔音優越（晚上有極佳的睡眠品質），食物表現也很好（不過早餐的生菜沙拉品項沒有以前多有點可惜，以前每次來住都很愛裕元的早餐），是值得推薦的好飯店。

1.服務 *提早把房間準備好，可以早一點入住 *沒事先詢問，昨晚很晚才回房沒洗到，但洗衣服務如果早上洗，晚上才能拿到，沒洗到衣服 *電視手機投影很麻煩，請服務人員花了快半小時才處理好 2.房間 *有大片玻璃窗可以看view，有浴鹽可以放入浴缸使用，抬頭也有漂亮的景觀 *乾濕分離 *冰箱的可樂不是免費的，但有迎賓零食 *電話、垃圾桶蓋、遙控器、櫃子裏有明顯的灰塵，細部清潔有待加強 3.設施 *三溫暖是裸湯，泡前要在前面沖洗（現在沒熱水，建議先去蒸氣室再洗） *游泳池是室內的，要爬樓梯，還未進去就會聞到游泳池的味道，環境沒有三溫暖好 *泳帽和近視泳鏡很普通，兩個花了近千惠，拆開來後甚至看到灰塵... 4.溫莎咖啡廳晚餐 *補餐速度緩慢，19：00進去很多東西沒被補上，快20：00時烤鴨已不再做，建議預訂比較晚時事先告知會有這情況，朋友快20：00到基本上較好的鹹食都不再供應，只能夾點剩的 *Buffet有烤鴨叉燒生魚片紅白酒烤牛肉哈根達斯，特別的是有鵝肝醬 *生魚片種類不多，味道不錯 5.整體 綜上所屬，一些細節我不太開心，但大體上沒什麼問題，故給了4顆星

日本語は全く通じず、ジムやプールがあるにもかかわらず何の説明もない。 喫煙所は雨で濡れ、傘を貸すこともしない。 従業員用の灰皿のほうが毎日キレイに掃除されていた。 駐車場に入ってくるクルマも運転が乱暴で人を跳ねそうになっていた。 高速インターのそばにあるので速度の感覚が戻らないのだろうか… 私は5つ星ホテルと認識して泊まったが期待を裏切られた。 デポジットも2回請求され、チェックイン数日前と滞在中1日につき1,000元。 何度も中国語で催促の電話をかけてこられ、クレジットカード決済ができないと言われる始末。 日系ホテルに滞在していたので日本人スタッフに対応してもらった。決済が上手く行かないのはウィンザー側の問題だ。カードが利用不可なら私は台湾で飲み物すら買えないはずだ。こんなホテルでは食事すら楽しめないであろう…
