Overly priced hotel. Small room. Paid usd $355 for a 3-person family room on a weekday (night of 12/26/2024) Staff do try. They do not replenish food on time at breakfast. Gym was practically a joke so didn’t work out that day- also which gym starts operating at 9am????. Our least favorite place to stay out of the 9 hotels we have stayed in Taiwan. This is not worth the money. A motel with 1/3 of the price paid at this hotel would be better. Extremely disappointed. Felt being ripped off.

Unique hotel with swimming lap-pool and large hot-tub/spa on the roof. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Hotel is near lots of restaurants and local stores. Underground parking was convenient and breakfast options were great…lots of East and West cuisine choices. Staff are super friendly and ready to help…especially Rose at the front desk.

Nice Japanese Style Hot Spring Hotel

The hotel is about 10 minute walk from the Jiaoxi train station. We just rolled our suitcases over right after getting off the train. Interior of the hotel is well maintained. Modern, clean and with great taste. Complimentary snacks (very yummy), coffee and wine (during happy hour) are offered in the lobby daily. The rooftop infinity pool and hot spring pool are a nice touch. But for hot spring, I think the one in the sister hotel Just Sleep right next door is better. It is a nude, single sex one in the basement. The washing stations reminded us of the hot spring baths in Japan. The room is well designed with your own personal hot spring bath on the balcony. The only shortcoming is that the room is on the small side (very Japanese in this sense too...LOL). I love the complimentary flip flops though. You are free to take them. Breakfast at this hotel is top notch. A good mix of western and Taiwanese local delicacies. Fruits and pastries are of very high quality too. Prompt tidying up service during your buffet meal. The local public hot spring parks and one big busy street are all close by. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

outstanding services by all staff members!

Great location to the public hot springs and the main street. Loved the tub on the balcony. Had the family suite and it was spacious in size. Loved all the mini snacks and happy hour that they provided. Breakfast was more like brunch as it had a lot of different food options.

BEST HOTEL IN TAIWAN!

I've been to Taiwan almost 10 times and I've to say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Taiwan! I booked the Tatami mat room which comes with a private onsen bath where you can soak anytime of the day at your privacy and convenience. However, what really blew me away was the rooftop infinity onsen pool where you get breathtaking views of the city. There is also a normal cold pool for swimming beside the onsen pool. Breakfast was included in my booking which I thought was an extremely great deal. The breakfast is also the best one I've ever came across in all my hotels in Taiwan. There were acai bowls, grain bowls, and the usual rice/porridge dishes, bread for different appetites. I especially loved the detox juice that was offered at one of the stations. The hotel offers free happy hour at the lobby and you can get wine, drinks and some light snacks. Also every day in the evening, they screen a movie at the roof top beside the pools where you can watch move under the stars. Location is also very good as it's right smack in the city of Jiaoxi, Yilan. Hotel also offers free self parking in the basement which is safer than an outdoor parking that some hotels offer. The fridge in the room offers free drinks like coke, pocari sweat and two facial masks from My Beauty Diary. All in all, I really have nothing to complain!

Excellent service clean room

Nice hotel, poor sound proofing

The hotel itself was nice, clean and we'll situated. However, my biggest gripe was that the rooms were not very sound proof and given that it was on the main road, the noise was rather piercing, especially when the rubbish truck came by. Had intended to rest during the stay, but the poor sound proofing did not help

Good but can be improved

Overall it’s good but we were disappointed that public indoor hot spring was not available. The information was not written on the website and the price was not adjusted for that. The infinite pool is small but not bad. The decoration overall is great.

The hotel is centrally located and close to restaurants/attractions. The room is on the smaller side. The tub area is semi open and I feel that there is a privacy issue.

The hotel condition is dated where you can easily spot dirts on lobby sofa and paint color peel off from coffee table inside the room. I find the hotel surrounding is quite annoying which it is difficult to relax when doing hot springs. Also spot some leftover hairs between the 2 mattresses when I check in the hair. I don’t think I will recommend this place if traveler looks for high quality hotspring hotel.

Lovely Zen styled hotel. Great for getaway

Pretty ok Onsen Bath, Fair and ok service. Room is fine, clean in good condition, but still some constant noise at night? AC? Breakfast just fair.

Property offers free snack on lobby floor. Room was clean. Staffs were quick on fixing issues and went above and beyond to assist.

Liked the daily happy hour and movie screening at R level. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. but pillows a bit too soft. could have offered a choice of pillows. the breakfast spread was a bit limited mainly asian/jap probablt because mihan is a jap restaurant. hot tub in room was a bit small. as shuttle to train station was unavailable, we had to specially request for one due to rainy weather.

The room was amazingly clean, much provided, more than we needed. We enjoyed the hot springs in the tub at the balcony. That was quite an experience. After, We felt so relaxed in the room and watch HBO Harry Potter Movies. Afternoon tea & snacks also 5pm Happy hour wine both much appreciated by customers as we had a great time chatting n enjoying drinks. The seafood hot pot dinner was a great deal with top service. We woke up happy, looking forward to the best oriental breakfast according to our child. My husband said the check out was 1 min at the front desk. Can’t beat that!!

Over priced

Over rated. The onsen was just jndoor and placed at another building which Just sleep hotel shared equal facililty. The bath tub in te room was so small compared to the photo shown on Agoda.

Breakfast choices are plentiful and delicious! Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Private tubs in rooms allow guests to enjoy hotspring in a much more private setting is a major attraction!

great hotel!

I have stayed at several hotels in the nearby Jiaoxi area, and seems Wellspring is quite different than the other hotels with their outdoor bathtubs and Japanese style breakfast

We stayed in the Superior King Bed room. The room is clean but smaller than what we have thought. It came with an in-suite hot spring tub. Also, it is a bit smaller than we thought and it just fit 2 people. However, we love the hot spring swimming pool on the 12th floor. You can have a good view of the surrounding area while you are in the pool. Breakfast is included and it is very good. It got a variety of hot food, small dishes and fruits. We also like the happy hour they offered in the afternoon when they handed out free wine and drinks and snacks at the lobby. Finally the hotel location is pretty good, which is one block from the train station and about 10 minutes walk from the Bus Transfer Station. Plenty of food stores and souvenir shops nearby.

Loved the robes and slippers! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Service was good. Room was well designed and spacious. However, I was quite disappointed about their restaurant, food and hot spring. The breakfast was not impressed, actually it’s one of the worst I have had in hot spring hotel. But in general, it’s just a so called ‘hot spring’ hotel. The hot spring in the room was not good as I expected. I think it’s because of its location. It is located on a very busy and noisy street, surrounded by lots of not too good looking, quite old buildings. The hot spring tub was just at the balcony of the rooms, where you felt like bathing in a noisy street with air pollution coz you could literally hear the busy traffic when you were having the hot spring bath. It’s really not enjoyable. And I would like to warn people who care about quietness: don’t choose this hotel! The noise was really a problem! You won’t feel clam. You are supposed to feel it when you are having the hot spring bath.

CHECK OUT TIME TOO EARLY

Amazing spa hotel in Jiaoxi. Well appointed rooms with private hot spring in balcony, huge toilet, nice shower pressure, basically all well thought out. And amazing breakfast as well! Would def come back!

The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. We arrived early and gave us a large room. But there was a rock concert hosted by the tourism board for that night. We switch to a higher floor. Love the roof top pool and hot tub . Really good breakfast.

A conveniently located hotel in yilan

first of all, we were surprised to be served with wine and nibbles when we checked in at around 5pm. we were surprised again by its comfy room, esp the bed. it was a shame that we only stayed for 1 night. it’d be great we could join one of those activities in the hotel. highly recommended

I've always found Expedia reviews to be trustworthy, until I got to this hotel. The rooms are a lot smaller than expected, the "private tub" is a joke because not only is it actually outdoor (which you cannot tell based on the pictures and the reviews, and it's hot and humid out) and narrow (as expected from other reviews), but also --most importantly -- exposed (which defeats the purpose of a private tub, if you ask me). The staff is great and all, but the "Superior Double Room" is incredibly underwhelming, particularly for its price point.

It is newly opened and the food service is excellent. The afternoon happy hour is sparkling and the service crew are extremely friendly. It is a good place for family and friends together staying.

Hot Spring Enjoyment

Fairly new hotel is located very close by the Jiaoxi Station on the main street of downtown center. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and gave me a late check-out upon request when I checked in. No need to queue in front of counter but simply seat in the waiting area for staff to come and check you in with room keys and everything ready. We booked a suite, room was not big but cozy for two. The birthday cake they prepared for my birthday certainly bought my heart with a big plus. You can enjoy the hot spring just outside room at the balcony. The outside refreshing air was just right for the hot spring time which is very different than a closed room full of steam and moisture which sometime make you feel harder to breath. The breakfast was stunning with plenty of foods, although I am not a big fan for cold Japanese style food. The hot soup and porridge served my tummy very well with variety of fruits. I strongly recommend couples to take one day break away from work, house chores and even kids and come to this place for a wonderful relaxing and romantic stay.

Excellent hot springs hotel. Clean &modern

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. I had a room with a living room and a personal hot spring tub. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice modern and clean. They even had a bidet. The in room hot spring was very nice and relaxing and the water temperature can be adjusted to perfect temperature. The outdoor pool on rooftop had wonderful views and different choices of water temperature. Must rave about the breakfast. Salad bar to bread bar to hot entree choices to drinks there was a great selection. The food was very very tasty! The hospitality of the hotel is definitely 5 stars or higher and great location, 2 blocks from train station and also offered courtesy shuttle. Will definitely come back again and try then indoor hot springs.

Best Roof top hot spring

The hotel has great staff and very friendly. And we really like the pools on the roof. It's very relaxing to just sit by the pool and looking at the city lights bellow. They even take care of our luggages from the hotel to the shuttle bus the whole way.

Weekend 2D1N stay

The hotel is within walking distance to Jiaoxi Train Station as well as the Bus Interchange. Our room was a cosy Hollywood Suite, come with a private hot spring tub at the balcony. There was free wine and light snack at the lounge in the evening that we stayed. One of the reasons of booking this hotel was to dine at Mihan Restaurant but it was fully booked. Hence, it would be advisable to make a reservation in advance together with the room reservation. Special compliment to the guy (didn't get the name) who processed our check-out. It was raining and he helped to arrange a complimentary hotel shuttle to ferry us to the train station though we didn't pre-book.

第一次入住感覺一般，床有點硬，戶外泡湯池深度不太夠如果高大的人可能只能泡到肚子。户外泡湯池比較簡單。館內沒有裸湯需要去對面飯店使用有點麻煩。但是飯店位置算好。去街上方便

第二次入住，四人家庭空間適中，外陽台泡澡池有多了遮蔽性窗簾，比以往兼顧隱私。不得不稱讚早餐，比以往更優，每種冷食、熱食、麵包飲料都相當有水準，我可以為了早餐再來住一次。

酒店剛開業不久已住過一次，事隔幾年再次入住，感覺不錯，雖然硬件有少少折舊，但整體仍十分乾淨企理，唯事次入住可能遇上礁溪溫泉節巡遊慶典，酒店大堂長時間也很擠擁，車輛也未能直達酒店門口，其他也沒什麼不好，職員也十分熱心。

榻榻米房型很適合帶著1歲寶寶入住，整體住宿經驗不錯，就是房間太小了早餐也普通。
