Staff was so welcoming and amazing property had amazing time

Amazing experience. The staff was very cooperative and polite specially Ms. Ashi Mathur. They were always available to take care of all our needs end-to-end. The amenities like wifi, breakfast, pool, everything was just perfect. Beautiful hotel and the stay was made extra comfortable by the hospitality of the staff. They went out of their way at times and that really touched us. Highly recommended.

It was an excellent experience staying in the villa. Large, beautiful rooms with huge bathrooms. The decent-size private swimming pool , outside patio and a lawn with chirping weaver-birds building their several nests added to the experience. The resort was pretty and calm. Both the restaurants, Sholla and Chinkaara have a great selection of authentic Rajasthani dishes with a modern twist and they create a delightful fusion. Chinkaara is a bit informal and has some mughlai and non-Indian options both at breakfast and dinner. Sholla has traditional Rajasthani menu served in a Royal caravan like ambience. The service was amazing.

The staff at the reception are extremely rude and it doesn't feel like itc hospitality in any manner extremely bad food service and staff

The location was far from the city centre and we didn't have our own car so we had to pay extra money to the driver to pick up and drop off at the hotel every time. They had a mosquito problem in one of their guest toilets. Rooms were great, no problems here. The hotel was still under construction, not a probelm but good to know.

This is a great property with nice lawns and lots of open spaces. We will consider it again if we come back to Jodhpur.

There is literally no transport at all . It’s so scary in night time

Before staying I had great expectations as I was spending over 250 CAD $ a night per room and I booked two rooms for two families. I have big list of disappointments from this place. #1 check in did not go smooth, before check in I travelled for 7 hours(Jaipur to Jodhpur) with two families. Hotel required visa copy and until that time kids were not even asked for water. It took 50 minutes to complete check in. Staff was under trained and lack of professionalism. #2 carpet of the room were filthy, definitely hotel’s star rating should have changed. There was food particles and bugs in the carpet. Despite of complaining no corrective actions taken. Local Manager didn’t not bother to respond. Hotel is famous for 11 acre of property and wedding venue so staff and department manager were not interested attending individual guests. #3 Cold food served during breakfast. #4 I asked to change temperature because of cold in December, temperature panel locked by system so guests can not adjust temperature. One of staff confirmed there is no heating system which is big big question mark for such big name of hotel. #5 I stayed for two nights and booked two rooms so asked blankets for each room. No blanket given on first night. Finally after number of times complaining we were given blankets. Prior to Jodhpur we stayed at Trident Jaipur during our vacation at half price what Jodhpur charged. All facilities food and services were outstanding by Oberoi group.

Good

The hotel is beautiful and rooms were clean and the food was good. The only issue was the noise from the top floor lot of chairs moving and running the whole night . We did tell the reception but no use. Though fewer people were there still they gave rooms closer to each other. The Main is the noise which didn't allow us to sleep.

Welcoming and courteous staff with special mention to Priyanka at the front desk who was very pleasant and friendly. Food was really good . Service by Haris at the restaurant was exceptional. Overall a good stay with the family. Strongly recommended.

Nice resort

The hotel is very nice, well maintained and comfortable. Staff was very courteous. Dinner was quite disappointing, but breakfast was good. Overall it was a great stay

Absolutely a jewel in the desert

Absolutely a jewel in the desert. Beautifully kept property and the food is out of the world. Possibly our best meals in Rajasthan, India. Very serene and calm resort. Very beautifully designed and has a calming influence. Restaurants are priced very reasonably and service is excellent. We are visiting Jodhpur just for this hotel.

The hotel is truly amazing, nice ambience, very co-operative staff, food is excellent.

Overall layout was good. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were very clean. Staff in restaurant were very slow with order after 5 attempts managed to get a drinks menu. Pool was big looked clean (didn’t get time to use it) To use anything in the games room it’s all chargeable. Overall happy.

Great place by Western or any standards. Staff extra professional and friendly. I give the resort 5 stars. It is just that many of the guests there are the problem. We had to call security nightly because kids were jumping on the floors above so the room sounded like a construction zone. All hours of the morning kids screaming in hallways. So get a top floor room to avoid all the noise due to a general lack of consideration from other guests.

Excellent Hotel and clean environment. Truly a 5*

Amazing hotel. Spacious rooms, excellent service at the bar, restaurant and overall at the entire property. Very clean place with attention to cleanliness all around. Chefs are great at their job with good food. Only problem is it’s far from city or any place. Didn’t matter much for us as we did sightseeing in a day and relaxed at the property the next.

This property is away from the city but offers excellent stay. Food choice is limited. It does not offer the very common Indian food dishes.

As a property it is good. Well placed and well designed. But it is not getting maintained well. We can feel that ageing due to bad maintenance. Stinky rooms, with worn out mattresses and the linen. My experience with staff is not up to the mark of ITC or welcome group either and they are not fit for hospitality industry. They need to be trained well.

Nice hotel, very noisy needs soundproofing. Only 1 of 3 restaurants was open so same place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pool area was in use for a wedding.

What a haven for peace and tranquility. Gorgeous! Great head massage at the spa too!

WelcomHotel Jodhpur - a paradise in itself

Overall, WelcomHotel lived up to its standards. Hospitality was exemplary all through. The hotel itself is a mini-paradise. In fact, one could spend an entire day strolling its beautifully decked lawns, lush gardens, and arched walkways. The evening cultural shows were an absolute pleasure. Food at the hotel restaurant is great although the service is somewhat on the slower side. My only complaint is that the hotel does not have great arrangements for transport - an important requirement given its location 8-10 km away from the city center. Although the hotel staff went out of their way to arrange a taxi service for us, it would be generally useful if they had concrete tie-ups with local cab services for activities such as sightseeing, city tours, and airport shuttling. All in all, a great stay with terrific hospitality from ultra-professional and warm staff with a "never-say-no" attitude. Kudos to the general manager and his team.

AMAZING

Our stay at the Taj was absolutely fantastic. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in India so far. Definately 5 star. Front desk very very helpful and polite, no problems whatsoever. Will recommend the Taj to all my friends and family. On negative was the restaurant. Had to wait a long time for our food so felt service not the best. Food was okay tandori chicken was good, seikh kebab overcooked and over spiced, fish was dry. Still would rate your hotel 4-1/2 out of 5

Excellent stay at Welcomhotel Jodhpur

The recent stay in Oct 2017 at Welcomhotel Jodhpur was an amazing and an excellent experience.

The stay was comfortable although one must check if they have a wedding as the noise can be very Disturbing as was in our case.

It was quite good to stay at the property. All facilities were good and neatly provided. Food stuff was lavish and excellent. However as per area (a bit remote and away from main town) , it was reasonably costly.

Very nice grounds for a hotel and amazing amenities and spa. A way away from Jodhpur so difficult to get in and out of the city. The service at the front desk isn't great -- they are still having teething problems as it is a new hotel. There was an incident with a hotel staff member calling the room later than midnight to check on a billing situation and there was little done to rectify the situation, despite how unprofessional it was. Overall, a nice hotel and great landscape / amenities, but can work on some of the service details.

Great hotel with ample grounds - not a high rise

Well appointed rooms, efficient service.

We had booked 3 rooms for a 3 night stay at this hotel from 29th Dec,15 to 1st Jan,16. The reception at our arrival was warm but a little disorganized with some members of our not so big group not getting the traditional welcome. The check-in was smooth and the rooms are well-appointed and spacious. The room service too was efficient and the buffet breakfast though good, was nowhere close to taj standards both in terms of taste of food and service levels. The hotel is large with very well preserved premises and the traditional market in the hotel itself is a nice touch. However the most disappointing part of our trip was the mandatory new year's eve party. Both the dinner as well as the service at the party was nowhere close to five star levels. The waiters had no clue on how a group of people at a table are served finger food. They would start at one end of the table and after serving 1-2 person, would promptly vanish without bothering to ask the others in the group if they wanted something. The drinks too were not offered on their own nor was a choice of drinks offered to us. Very disappointing overall and to top it all, despite Expedia clearly mentioning in their reservation mail that only kids between 10-18 would be charged at half rate for the party, the hotel despite us showing them the mail insisted on charging our kids aged 7 and 8 for the same.That definitely left a sour taste. Overall we were pretty satisfied with our stay except for the new year's eve party.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. The hotel ambience is simply amazing. The restaurant also server amazing buffet breakfast !!

Spent 2 nights here on Business 6th & 7th October 2015 Fantastic hotel if you are after an escape from it all and to relax after a busy day. Facilities and service 1st Class. Will definitely stay again.

A Really Welcoming City

The WelcomHotel Jodhpur is an excellent property. The hotel is well designed - a grand, modern structure with lush green lawns. The staff of the hotel go out of their way to please you, always welcoming, always smiling. The hotel is located on highway NH 65, a little away from Jodhpur city, in peaceful surroundings with almost nothing around.

The service and the facility were good enough to be relaxed. Only the problem was the location. The hotel is out of city and there is no service for Uber. If you would like just to be relaxed by staying inside the hotel, this hotel would be good.

Seamless. Perfect in all senses. Only location could have been improved (closer to places of touristic interest in Jodhpur). Nothing else to add.

the hotel is very nice, the service is excellant. also the Hotel facilities are beautiful and very nice. The hotel is outside the city, after the military bases, so there is nothing around the plant.
